The Litmos LMS system is really good and for both creating content and monitoring compliance - let alone the amount of courses available off the shelf! The ability to SCORM file in is brilliant, it has opened up many possibilities we are currently exploring to make the learning even more interactive. **What do you dislike about Litmos?** Some of the reporting aspects are a little overcomplicated, but there is help available via the Dojo and other useful links. Some of the functionality such as quirky escalation rules means you cannot select all users and must go through each individual page to reset some - in a recent case 35 pages was needed to select all users. **What problems is Litmos solving and how is that benefiting you?** They are solving our Training Needs Analysis issue which we have been looking the do for some time. This will mean we are 'water tight' when it comes to audit. ### 2. We have an outstanding group of customer support, most specifically our Custom Success Manager, Corinne LaPlaca. She has exceeded expectations and then some. Our User Group is very strong and even stronger over the past year with our connection to Corinne and the rest of the team at Litmos (Victoria & Stephanie). **What do you dislike about Litmos?** Litmos Support, although solid at times, can be difficult to connect with on certain issues. **What problems is Litmos solving and how is that benefiting you?** Provides the right learning managment system to enable quality mandatory trainings to be provided to staff who serve people with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout New York State. ### 3. I'm especially fond of the option customization for the learner dashboard and login page, which has been greatly beneficial. Plus, the integrations with SaaS single sign-on are really handy. The ongoing improvements to the reporting features and functionality are also a big positive for me, especially how they allow different people to function in their own custom roles and positions. Permissions have been a game changer for us. **What do you dislike about Litmos?** I think they could do more with the reporting feature allowing us to filter things differently and just making it a little more straightforward. LIke if a UDF changes and I need to clear out the contents from the Custom Fields, I can't send in a bulk update to clear them out. And if i delete them, then nothing changes on the reporting end. Anytime we have a question, a challenge or need guidance, they are very responsive. And their webinars are informative and timely. Second, they have partnerships with fantastic content providers. We have been very pleased with Go1 for content within Litmos and we also love having Blinkist as an additional resource for our teams. Finally, we've been able to customize some features in the platform to make it more intuitive to users. **What do you dislike about Litmos?** Out of the box, it's not the most intuitive interface. It's not bad by any means, but we wanted something that any level of employee could easily navigate and get to where they needed to go. Fortunately we were able to customize some of the platform which got us closer to that goal. The backend/admin functionality could also be more intuitive - sometimes it's hard to find exactly what I'm looking for. **What problems is Litmos solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are a very small L&D team, so Litmos helps us get content in front of our employees in a timely and efficient way so they can take trainings on demand when they want/need to. The system does not provide a way to show if a delegate has finished a course multiple times. Litmos enables me to upload all of my training content and manage in a way that it is very easy to assign, reassign, and unassign. There are some things that we would like to do in Litmos (that seems feasible in today's software environment) that we cannot accomplish. Setting up webinars feels a bit clunky - which is what I can say about most of Litmos. It works, but it can feel clunky. I also think some of the interactive sections could be more aesthetically pleasing and more varied. The AI feature is great, this helps colleagues to be able to search for a specific question and get a quick response rather than needing to search the learning library for the course they need. The fact we're able to send reminders to colleagues to complete their mandatory learning on time is great to help us remain compliant. **What do you dislike about Litmos?** We have a lot of operatives who are out on site and therefore use the Litmos app on their mobile devices as they don't have laptops. We also use LMXU (our Litmos platform) to upload recordings of important meetings and they can be assigned to the users who need the information from the meeting. We have alot of movement within our organisation and restructuring. When we remove people from a team to another team their learning from the previous team drops off and we can only run a report on their completed training. If they didnt complete courses allocated via teams (in the previous team) we are unable to retrieve this information (only completed training from the previous team is available via reports) It would be better to be able to have a simple action to apply the learning of the team to the individual prior to moving them to another team including inactive courses. We need to know their compliance level for the mandatory training and therefore how often they dont complete courses allocated, or at least be able to run a report that tells us all learning allocated and whether it was completed once we remove them from a team. We also have a problem with reports for our managers, we are now creating reports externally (after running a LITMOS report) This process is clunky as the reports via LITMOS are not easily read by our managers. **What problems is Litmos solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are able to tailor courses to meet the needs of the staff for learning to ensure we meet the mandatory training guidelines for the organisation.
