**What do you like best about Certinia PS Cloud?**

Certinia PS cloud gives me a clear, up to date view of project status and respource usage. I really like the dashboards and reporting, since they make weekly tracking easier and more consistent. The time tracking and forecasting features are also helpful when I’m juggling multiple projects at once. It integrates well with other salesforce tools and fits smoothly into my workflow and well with other salesforce tools.

**What do you dislike about Certinia PS Cloud?**

Certina PS Cloud I haven’t run into any issues, its been a good experinec. However, the UI could definitely be improved. It would also be helpful if I could see who’s available before I assign tasks.

**What problems is Certinia PS Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used to rely heavily on spreadsheets and email, but now everything is in one system. Its much easier to track progress and billing and there’s a lot less manual work overall. I still like that Certinia is built on the Salesforce platform and using Einstein reporting to solve complex business scenarios.

Yes, Certinia can improve on unwinding its current model to allow customers to pick and choose what items they want to purchase and not force everyone to be all in.

If you are looking to centralize everything under one solution, this is the tool for you. As a Salesforce Administrator, there was a slight learning curve because I don't come from an accounting background, but I was able to get up to speed on the processes and workflows because they are built on the Salesforce platform.

**What problems is Certinia PS Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We can report on resource utilization and projects, which, if set up appropriately, can help the business.  Additionally, workspaces are re-engaging users with a single central source of truth and slowly getting them off spreadsheets.

We can find all the details on one site. It has tabs for projects, deadlines, work completed,billing, reports everything for all the project under one roof. Team leads can access this tool and see the improvement and ongoing activity on their project.

We have to learn it, its not like just install and start working it. It is built on salesforce so we need to learn how to use it effectively and manage every dashboard on it.

I feel when a many projects are managed by a company or a single individual , it is tough for him to keep a track of everything , so here it is very beneficial. Everything is tracked and all reports are generated and even we can find cost and billing reports.

The implementation process is not progressing forward because it seems like they think they are the keepers of the truth and don't ask enough questions to understand the process and data models for the other apps involved. The follow-up from Certinia is lacking or incomplete. It complicates our accounting processes and wasn't able to deliver. The initial setup was very hard and never fully happened.

I like best about Certinia PS Cloud is how easy it is to configure and use, thanks to its native integration with the Salesforce platform. You get the full power of Salesforce capabilities, and most tasks can be completed with just a few clicks through its clean, user-friendly interface.

The UI is intuitive, making it easy to navigate for both new and experienced users. It supports seamless time tracking, resource management, and project management, all within a single, scalable platform.

Implementation is straightforward, and the tool adapts well as business needs grow. Customer support has been excellent, and the platform has become a core part of our daily operations—we use it frequently across teams.

I've noticed that the loading time of the page is too much, thus there may be certain things that may be done better.

As someone responsible for managing service delivery and operational efficiency, I’ve found Certinia PS Cloud to be an outstanding PSA platform that truly supports every stage of the project lifecycle. Because it’s built natively on Salesforce, it provides a seamless connection between sales, service delivery, and finance, which has been a huge win for our operations.

One of the things I appreciate most is how easy it is to use. The interface feels intuitive, and getting new team members up to speed doesn’t require much effort. Implementation was also relatively smooth, especially compared to other enterprise platforms we’ve rolled out—it’s clear the team behind Certinia has thought through the onboarding experience.

We use the platform daily across multiple teams, and it’s become central to how we manage projects, track time, and handle resource planning. The range of features is impressive, yet it doesn’t feel overwhelming. Everything from project forecasting to billing is right there when you need it.

**What do you like best about Certinia PS Cloud?**

The sophisticated solution provided by Certinia PS Cloud makes it malleable to almost all situations a business would want to track. Because it is embedded in Salesforce and designed to work with the Standard Objects, it is easy to enhance with customizations specific to your business. However, out of the box, it is ready for you to start making the day-to-day decisions that are crucial to the success of a professional services company.

Although I was not part of the organization when PSA was implemented, it only took about 90 days from the initial installation of the App to go live. This included a data transformation and load at go-live as well. After the initial go-live, we integrated it into the legacy finance system. We have since upgraded to a two-way integration. This was key to tying several of our processes back into PSA for tracking and monitoring by our PMO and Ops teams.

As the head of Ops and Staffing, one of my most well-known sayings is, "If it isn't in PSA, the ask (meaning requesting a resource) isn't real." Having the entirety of our PMO and Sales teams on board with this sentiment ensures that all of our data is captured. This allows us to use PSA as our source of truth for our business.

**What do you dislike about Certinia PS Cloud?**

The biggest downside is the learning curve of the data model. It takes a while to master, but once you have figured it out, it makes pulling the data out of your tool clean and easy. Certinia is always there to answer questions on the Community Portal. This will also help with that learning curve and clarify the variety between the features' differences.

**What problems is Certinia PS Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Resource management/sourcing is the key problem solved. However, by using Certinia PS Cloud, it also allows for the slicing and analyzing of the data for historical and future forecasts.

Data upload, data migration & integration is native to Salesforce Architecture. Now, Certinia PSA works natively with Certinia Services CPQ.

If your company processes > 1000 billing events over month end, the generation process might get stuck in a "Waiting for status..." loop, often due to an accumulation of old or problematic Application Logs. These app logs need to deleted to process the new events.

Datasets in Certinia do not always feed into data vizualization tools one to one causing issues in reporting and requiring additional effort to smooth out data points. PS Cloud covers almost all the requirements a company could have to maintain a good customer relationship. Particularily the new features added to the Time Entry recently are really great. It is very easy to use, even for a new user who is not familar with the PSA Architecture happens to understand it nicely very soon. I have implemented PSA for a few customers and its quite simple to implement. Customer support that Certenia provides is absolutely great. My final comments would be, I recommend using PSA!!

I feel some altogether new objects can be added to the PS Cloud to even more better. I have seen quite a few customizations that many a customers do to PSA, so if Certenia could do some research on their customers about what customizations they are doing on PSA, that might help you to get some new ideas!

Certinia PS Cloud, a Salesforce-based professional services system, keeps projects on time and profitable, customers happy, and information up to date. Project management helps you increase revenue and meet customer expectations.

The PSA and OPI/SCM modules have transformed how we operate, saving us hours a day in procurement and project management.

**What do you dislike about Certinia PS Cloud?**

The PSA tooling can be slow.  We needed to trim down some of the features in order to reduce page load times.

**What problems is Certinia PS Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tasking multiple teams resources across dozens of projects daily involved unified calendars and many resource management discussions daily.  Now it is all self-service or automated.

**What do you like best about Certinia PS Cloud?**

The biggest pro is that it's on the salesforce platform, where there is a wealth of training material and resources to customize and automate for our needs, so fairly easy to use. There is quite a lengthy implementation process to onboard, 3-6 months using a partner. It's a tool that our team will rely on for KPIs and metrics, requiring frequent data enty in the form of timecard entry, project updates, and resource schedule allocation. I feel like Certinia is very customer centric and listens to ideas when designing their product roadmap to include features that were requested. Since it's on the force.com platform, it's as easy to integrate with other apps as it is with salesforce.

**What do you dislike about Certinia PS Cloud?**

Customer support is hit and miss. If lucky to be assigned a US based resource to the case, more likely than not, they will be excellent--know the product well, can troubleshoot and think comprehensively to solve the problem. However, I've had frustrating experiences with offshore resources in that they do not understand the issue, have little product knowlege, and have lengthy response turnarounds.

**What do you like best about Certinia PS Cloud?**

Most of the key requirements of PS comes OOTB and can be achieved using drag and drop tools .Key functionalities like Project and Resource management, Time/Expense entry are pretty user-friendly and easy to use. I especially like the ability to automate Billing and Invoice generation based on project milestones, time and expense entries. In addition to this, it seamlessly integrates with Salesforce CRM, which allows for a unified view of customer data, sales opportunities and project information.

**What do you dislike about Certinia PS Cloud?**

The quality of customer support is not very good and needs improvement.There are challenges in getting timely and effective support for technical issues.In addition to that, the quality of documentation/learning materials is not that good.

**What problems is Certinia PS Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

PS cloud helps in effective management of Projects and efficiently allocating Resources across projects based on skills,availability etc. This greatly helps the PMs in managing projects effectively.
