Provides a robust platform for managing all aspects of a global professional service business Features and functions are easy to learn and enable **What do you dislike about Certinia PS Cloud?** Resource management is difficult and managing tasks in SFDC style interface is nearly impossible, especially for agile efforts. **Recommendations to others considering Certinia PS Cloud:** Balance the importance of PM requirements and flexibility and the rigors of financial controls when evaluating the product. There are trade-offs. Also, use the highest level of abstraction possible for your needs in defining what's required. There is weight to additional levels of detail (like tasks and skills/competencies) so start at higher level, and then determine how deep to go later. **What problems is Certinia PS Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our global PS business uses PSA for project establishment from the SOW acceptance through to project completion / retrospective. We bill out client via the time and expense interface and also are able to pattern / control the consistency and structure of all project information. It does add the most value for us to the financial controls, billing, invoicing side of processes, and not as much to the Project Management side. The planner functionality that was recently added is also pretty awesome. It has definitely helped our Services resources forecast more accurately by cutting down the time it takes to update their forecasts on multiple projects. **What do you dislike about Certinia PS Cloud?** I am an analyst and I have to do a lot of data reporting & analysis. I find the stock reporting functionality to be clunky and very limited from a formulaic and presentation aspect. A lot of our people would love a refreshable dynamic view of PSA data that lives in the system. However, due to system limitations (or potentially knowledge limitations on my part) I am unable to provide them what they need and most often have to export the data to excel to create more dynamic views/capabilities. **Recommendations to others considering Certinia PS Cloud:** Make sure you provide ALL resources interacting with the system proper training. It is important to accurately convey to each person their role in inputting/maintaining data in the system and how the greater good of the company depends on them executing their role within the software accurately. **What problems is Certinia PS Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?** At a day to day level I am tracking utilization in efforts to stay on top of Capacity and solve capacity planning issues. I am pulling forecasting data for both services and sales pipeline to get an idea of how we are trending against budget and guidance forecast. PSA helps a ton with this effort mainly by being a solid record for the source data that ultimately drives the models I create (outside of PSA). Without this accurate data we would not be able to have models that drive business decisions. ### 21. Creating multiple assignments for a single engagement, for example, is laborious when only subtle changes are occurring such as different milestones on the same project or a change in activity. Also the visibility of detail in the Resource Planner is too cumbersome to be usable - This is our major blocker in adopting Resource Planner **Recommendations to others considering Certinia PS Cloud:** The vision of Financial Force is it's big selling point. We have folks with disabilities working for us and the time entry view is completely inaccessible. Would be great to attach files from SF to FF without saving them to my desktop first.
