Because it is embedded in Salesforce and designed to work with the Standard Objects, it is easy to enhance with customizations specific to your business. However, out of the box, it is ready for you to start making the day-to-day decisions that are crucial to the success of a professional services company. Although I was not part of the organization when PSA was implemented, it only took about 90 days from the initial installation of the App to go live. This included a data transformation and load at go-live as well. After the initial go-live, we integrated it into the legacy finance system. We have since upgraded to a two-way integration. This was key to tying several of our processes back into PSA for tracking and monitoring by our PMO and Ops teams. As the head of Ops and Staffing, one of my most well-known sayings is, "If it isn't in PSA, the ask (meaning requesting a resource) isn't real." Having the entirety of our PMO and Sales teams on board with this sentiment ensures that all of our data is captured. This allows us to use PSA as our source of truth for our business. **What do you dislike about Certinia PS Cloud?** The biggest downside is the learning curve of the data model. It takes a while to master, but once you have figured it out, it makes pulling the data out of your tool clean and easy. Certinia is always there to answer questions on the Community Portal.
