Although I was not part of the organization when PSA was implemented, it only took about 90 days from the initial installation of the App to go live. This included a data transformation and load at go-live as well. After the initial go-live, we integrated it into the legacy finance system. We have since upgraded to a two-way integration. This was key to tying several of our processes back into PSA for tracking and monitoring by our PMO and Ops teams.

As the head of Ops and Staffing, one of my most well-known sayings is, "If it isn't in PSA, the ask (meaning requesting a resource) isn't real." Having the entirety of our PMO and Sales teams on board with this sentiment ensures that all of our data is captured. This allows us to use PSA as our source of truth for our business. PS Cloud is built on the Salesforce platform, it's native to Salesforce Architecture. The platform comes with inbuilt capabilities that can be used by Small, Medium & Large size customers. If your company processes > 1000 billing events over month end, the generation process might get stuck in a "Waiting for status..." loop, often due to an accumulation of old or problematic Application Logs.
