The reporting capabilities in CRM Tableau allows businesses to visualize the impact of data accuracy in making efficient decisions. Another great feature is the resource planner with decent flexibility to filter through the resources' availability/schedule attributes (i.e. external vs. internal, group, region, name or skills etc) for a selected time-type (i.e. daily, weekly, monthly). It also allows to view the selected RRs in ResourcePlanner enabling one-screen view for resource managers. **What do you dislike about Certinia PS Cloud?** I think one of the areas or opportunity to improve upon is the SkillsMatrix layout. It does allow to capture as many skills as one wants however, the flexibility around adding a new rating category is limited to 2 fields:Skills and Certfication only. Allowing to add subtypes under "Skills" tab would help organizations manage and use their skills database more effectively. **What problems is Certinia PS Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?** Tracking and Measuring Utilization quality: Meaning not only improving on Utilization numbers at a group, Practie or Region level but also meeting the target utilization is met at an individual contributor level. With the help of reporting and analytics capabilities, we are able to track and measure our utilization forecasts, historical trend on Estimatedvs.Actuals and run some of our data governance initiatives very esily. We are able to predict our capacity shortages with confidence. Overall, we are able to optimize our resources and hence, business' capacity to cope with estimated demand. ### 10. Sometimes the relationship between functionality is difficult to unearth as well. There is a lot of freedom with how to structure different reports and adding custom fields as required. **What do you dislike about Certinia PS Cloud?** The resource planner needs development to provide more information and be more user-friendly. This one module seems out of place since the rest of the software is so well developed. There are components of Classic that are better than Lightning (example: reporting, the load speed of project pages). There are some components of reporting that could be improved: joining tables needs to be much easier than it is right now. Through the revenue recognition, cost recognition, and vendor management capabilities that we worked with FinancialForce to build, we implemented plenty of equations and workflows to automate a lot of this tracking. The PSA also allows for automated emails and reminders to be sent directly from the system, which aids our sales team and delivery leaders with customer conversations when it is time to renew. ### 17. For example, when creating projects from templates we are unable to specify if a certain value is pulled from the project template vs the related opportunity. They do a great job reaching out for customer input too with round table discussions on large topics, individual input on new features in development, and lots of demos! **What do you dislike about Certinia PS Cloud?** Their website--FinancialForce Community--is a bit difficult to use as far as navigation goes. The content itself is great but only if you can find what you need. It can also be difficult to initially set up and maintain the system. Because there is so much customization, each instance is truly unique for the business that is using it. Therefore, having internal administrators to maintain the system is key. **Recommendations to others considering Certinia PS Cloud:** Take the time to: 1) really understand what FF PSA can do, and 2) re-imagine your business processes in a way that really takes advantage of what the tool can provide. Don't just try to replicate what you have today within the system. **What problems is Certinia PS Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?** FF PSA is currently solving the issue of seeing individual business entities while also combining data into a single top level view of the overall company health. Integrating pay rates isn't as easy as we hoped, so we haven't implemented that functionality yet. **What problems is Certinia PS Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are tracking employee time for deployment of client projects to track fulfillment costs for ASC 606. We are not actually billing employee time so we're using this functionality a little differently than originally conceived. ### 44. What should take me 15 minutes to do takes me literally hours. I could onboard a full extra customer every month in the time wasted due to crashes and lost data. Literally using excel would be better than this poorly setup, buggy software that freezes and even worse loses previously saved data and resets it all to default.
