While working through cpq it takes more time to save folders and sync it and it loads up my work .Also in one case my data is losed ,faced performance issues,too much load in servers.It cannot take large setup and down the system.

the most helpful thing about using Oracle was the overall quality of the software. This software is very direct when it comes to the commands you enter to get certain information inputed.

The downside to me was the different equations you had to learn in order to get certain materials ordered. The catalog that we utilized had over 20 thousand parts. It took me almost a year to get it down.

This software solves a long list of problems. Especially when it comes to others being able to use it to access specific information. If you haven't been trained on it there is no way you can order anything from it. its a very complex system that requires at least a year for the user to feel comfortable.

CPQ database being separate fromo CX means we're spending time mapping data from CPQ to CX to complete the sales cycle and get reporting. OTBI can't "see" the CPQ data.

Pricing consistency - not only in executing dynamic pricing but through the price book consistency that we are getting on pricing agreements.

The issue of having to create pricebooks in both CPQ and matching in Oracle.  I understand that this will fix itself as CPQ moves to Fusion but it can't happen fast enough.

I am working as an Oracle CPQ developer in a very esteemed organization. Currently Oracle CPQ market is also in Boom. Even salesforce tried to create/launch a software with same features (Salesforce CPQ) but still it has some flaws and customers are not willing to use that. I do not find any negative point except the CICD process.

Oracle is very helpful in accessing customer contracts. It is always working and very efficient. It provides accurate details of customer, invoices and bills.

Sometimes Oracle doesn't work in few browsers like chrome. It always works on Internet Explorer and Microsoft edge. It should be compatible with all the browsers

The latency while opening oracle application is getting better and it helps us access customer details quickly and doesn't take much time. Hope it gets more better

Product definition- Approvals to  pricing and most importantly the proposal generation .

Application has loads of issues - it's not end to end - there is a need to look into these loopholes and show stoppers - for now it's good only for small businesses where we have direct product sales .

CPQ is a flexible tool with sufficient OOB feature to address any business requirements as well as the ability to be customized for bus requirements.

**What do you dislike about Oracle CPQ?**

The integration mechanism can be improved by adding some design time error handling. The debugging of the custom code is also not one of the most convenient ones.

It helped us to pace up the quotation process. We were able to get the internal approvals as well as the client approvals (using docusign). It was integrated with EBS and helped eliminate excel sheets and other paperwork thatis prone to human error.

**What do you like best about Oracle CPQ?**

We recently deployed Oracle CPQ at Tektronix Inc to streamline our quoting and deal management process. We are pleased with the product so far and feedback from the user base has been largely positive. When implemented right, use is very intuitive and can be easily configured to fit your business needs. It is ERP application-agnostic and can serve multiple environments concurrently. We are convinced that this will help us drive more revenue in years to come. As an IT project manager, I am glad we picked the right tool for our organization and we will continue to invest in Oracle to modernize our IT applications.

The learning curve may be pretty steep and some customizations/configurations can be rather complicated.
