We use the online forms feature very often to collect donations on behalf of our organization. Additionally, the chat support is always extremely helpful. I have had support sessions that lasted hours so that the person helping could actually see me execute the solution to the problem. **What do you dislike about DonorPerfect?** The downsides are that the report center is not very intuitive. You have to build a report for what you want, and it can turn into you having too many different report types to choose from. I wish it was more automated. The Constant Contact integration was not as fluid as we had hoped, and our Quickbooks integration doesn't line up well either. **What problems is DonorPerfect solving and how is that benefiting you?** DonorPerfect helps me track the donor retention cycle, and is currently helping me reconnect with lapsed donors. We've had nothing but exceptional customer support, from their onboarding orientations to the continuing education workshops put on weekly. User management is also highly intuitive, and can be tailored to adjust access as you see fit. Access to the payment portal is highly straightforward. **What do you dislike about DonorPerfect?** While the bulk records management is very thorough, importing your data at the onset of your DonorPerfect experience can be a little unwieldy. While customer support and data technicians are dedicated to getting your records migrated, depending on the size of your dataset you may need to allocate more time to review your records once they're established in DonorPerfect and make sure everything has migrated successfully. **What problems is DonorPerfect solving and how is that benefiting you?** Being able to see at a glance the giving history of our donors, as well as the soft credits and associated foundations each donor has brought to our development. I also love how easy it is to pull reports and import data via csv file. Tracking connections and contacts with donors is also very helpful. **What do you dislike about DonorPerfect?** The cost is the main deterrent to DonorPerfect but they have reduced rates for smaller organizations which is helpful. They also had a rough time updating their payment processing to keep up with newer programs but they have since caught up and surpassed many payment processing options available today. **What problems is DonorPerfect solving and how is that benefiting you?** DonorPerfect allows us to track our donors and their levels of giving. The interface, look, and feel is long overdue for a facelift - both as a back-end user, and what you can create for your donors. It looks like a 2005 website, and is clunky. 2) So much overpromising during sales, with moving of goalposts if you sign on. At least three times we discovered features that we were led to believe were included that either cost extra (which was new info after signing on) or had a pricing change -- one service went from $4 as needed to $336/year with no options in between even though we committed with the $4 expectation and only needed to use it 1-2x/year. 3) Customer support is slow, clunky, and old school via chat, with limited hours and lots of lag. Phone support costs an insane amount - what could be a 2 minute call ends up being a 25 minute, snail-paced chat. 4) Reporting can do a lot, and is so, so hard to use - truly the opposite of intuitive. You can tell that DonorPerfect spends slim to no time on UX (user experience). A lot of capability, but you really need to be using the system fulltime or have a computer science background to harness the software. It's so old school. 5) Our implementation was incredibly challenging, with some key mistakes made by the DonorPerfect staff member in optimizing our incoming DB that had to be corrected retroactively. **What problems is DonorPerfect solving and how is that benefiting you?** At a minimum, you can process gifts and maintain donor records to be in compliance with applicable laws. **Official Response from Kaitlyn Jones:** > Oh, my!
