# What are some of the best alternatives to DonorPerfect? (ideally less expensive too)

I've heard of people using DonorPerfect for many years. Sometimes they like it, but most of the time it seems like they don't love it, and also find that it is expensive. What are some of the best alternatives to compare DonorPerfect with?

Every organization's needs are different. That being said, DonorDock is a great alternative to DonorPerfect for many nonprofits. It comes down to a few main things:

- Usability - Everything just works smoothly. It's easy to learn.
- Efficiency - Tasks take less clicks in DonorDock.
- Amount Raised - Automation reminds you to act so you raise more
- Price and Value - It is a lower cost, and overall better value.

At DonorDock, we value saving nonprofits time, and helping make it easy to focus on what is most important, and making sure everything we work works great. Other software might value including every bell and whistle, even if it means that it doesn't always work great.

Ultimately, you should make the choice that meets your individual needs best. If what I've shared sounds appealing to you, I would certainly recommend getting a demo of DonorDock, at least to compare to DonorPerfect as you make that assessment.

You can do that at DonorDock.com

Hope that helps!
