"Using WebinarGeek For The First Time"
What do you like best about WebinarGeek?

First off, I want to say wow I was thoroughly impressed by the capabilities of this platform. It is much more sophisticated than Zoom due to its interactive features in the webinars. I do appreciate the abilities to have polls, and have multiple people present instead of just 1 presenter. It reminds me more of Webex, but easier to use in my opinion. I did like that I can customize themes and even when I was facing difficulties on certain features such as integrating a LinkedIn ID, it has a “How To” guide for me to use, that was quite nice. In fact, I appreciate that it had an “Academy” section for users to learn to not only use the webinar application, but how to use AI and other tools incorporated as well. Another feature I liked when I was getting a bit lost on the platform was that there was a guided tool called Kiki pointing me around the site. It was very helpful that they included a “Tour” section for first-time users. I would say the initial setup was easy to create from making the account to getting to the steps of making a webinar (whether its on-demand, live or automated). What do you dislike about WebinarGeek?

I do wish there were more steps in guiding what webinar to create instead of the 4 “onboarding steps” when you first create and get onto the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless, Browser-Based Webinars with Intuitive Controls"
What do you like best about WebinarGeek?

I liked the live webinar experience the most. As a facilitator and host, the important buttons are easy to see and use, I didn't have to look for the buttons while presenting. The interaction tools are very helpful and easy to spot. It's also easy to start, stop, and share the presentation and navigate the screen.

I also liked that the attendees don't have to download the app or software for it to work properly. The webinar runs in the browser smoothly, which makes it easier than Zoom and Teams. I also like the layout of the live webinar, it looks clean.

Overall, it feels like WebinarGeek is really designed for webinars, unlike Zoom and Teams that feel more like you're in a meeting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WebinarGeek?

The dashboard was a bit confusing at first. There are two "Upcoming" sections, which felt repetitive. So it took me a while to know the difference between the live and the upcoming webinars.

It would help if the video upload option were easily accessible. Adding people can also be improved. It would better if there's a way to "bulk" invite instead of inviting people one by one, which could take time.

Finally, a short 'optional' walkthrough when you log in would be valuable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"WebinarGeek User Review"
What do you like best about WebinarGeek?

As a person who have to set up a lot o webinar and had to manually do publishing, integration, archiving manually, I really appreciated that WebinarGeek facilitated me with these diverse options. Although first time seeing all the options might feel overwhelming, several options for help are available and the general process for creating a webinar is simple and intuitive. The interface is clear, neat, easy to learn, and simple to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WebinarGeek?

The webinar creation process presented the biggest obstacle. I wasn't sure if I had finished or if there were still steps to take after finishing the registration page. Registration → Webinar → Interactions → Emails → Publish are the tabs on the interface, but there isn't a progress indicator that says, "You're 20% done, next step is..." A progress bar or a straightforward message such as "Registration completed." "Next: Set your webinar date and time" would have saved me from forgetting to complete the configuration steps prior to publishing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Diverse Features, Slight Learning Curve"
What do you like best about WebinarGeek?

What I like most about WebinarGeek is its very diverse features and the variety of tools it offers. It has really helpful integrations, as you can implement your own videos on your own website. There are so many options to customize your webinars, which I find great. You can customize the title, add interactions to your meetings, and create polls and quizzes. Plus, you can automate emails to people you invite or customize for team members. The initial setup was simple and intuitive. I really appreciated that they did not ask for card information for the free trial, making it easy for me to try things out without committing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WebinarGeek?

It felt like a bit of a learning curve at first, as there was a lot of information being presented to me all at once. I found myself feeling quite overstimulated because of this. The live chat feature constantly bombarded me with messages about starting my first webinar. I believe that an intuitive and mandatory beginner’s guide is essential, as there are many complex features to navigate, and it takes time to learn and understand them. "Intuitive and Seamless Webinar Experience with WebinarGeek"
What do you like best about WebinarGeek?

I really enjoyed using WebinarGeek for the first time. It was very intuitive and easy to use. Any issues I had were because I was trying to go too fast and not fully read the tip they offered. I think that it compares well above the other platforms I have used in the past and I could see our company using this in the coming future. I appreciated the fact that they offered steps for first time users, but also minimized that feature if it was not needed. The ability to edit a schedule webinar was amazing because when you have a lot to schedule, something is usually always missed or not even planned until after the fact and being able to update is critical in most settings. The way you could upload the CSV of invites was great. It would just read from a list and the setup was seamless. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WebinarGeek?

I really could not find anything that I did not like about Webinargeek. Most of my issues were because I was going to fast and did not read something. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"User-Friendly Webinar Platform with Excellent Educational Resources"
What do you like best about WebinarGeek?

I like Webinar Geek because it's a professional platform, and for me, it's a well-designed platform that we can run a good-quality webinar using a browser. No download needed, and it shows its purpose and audience, where we can easily see that it's really a browser-based tool that is easily accessible, and the result is good. The dashboard highlights what the tool can offer, such as automation, live, hybrid, and, along with chat, polls, integrations, and analytics features. With this tool, we can easily sign up because the process is so simple, and browser access makes it easy to use for both the attendees and the host.

I mostly like the webinar geek academy part, which provides practical guidance, tips, and tutorials for creating webinars. This is a very helpful resource, especially for educators like me, and as a first-time user, it makes the process of learning simple and allows us to run engaging classes with confidence. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WebinarGeek?

For me, a few things to improve so it could be clearer and easier to use are the following:

1. Dashboard feature clarity could be improved because some of the parts are confusing, especially if you're a first-time user. Some tools and settings may not be immediately intuitive, and it can take some time to see where everything is located.

2. Account Set up and onboarding process, I just find the sign-in flow could feel more complete if it asked for all the information needed upfront instead of doing it on the dashboard just to complete it.

3. Information overload, maybe it's just me, but I felt that the webinar geek can simplify explanations or summaries will be less overwhelming in this tool.

4. A few parts of the interface should be redesigned or the layout so that clearer labels will be provided and reduce confusion in the overall navigation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Webinar Setup with Intuitive Interface and Great Resources"
What do you like best about WebinarGeek?

WebinarGeek was easy to follow. They had plenty of resources to get started including an Academy, a short tutorial, and some welcome videos. The interface is clean and pretty self explanatory. The whole process to setup a webinar takes a matter of minutes. The invite pages where professional and the webinar pages themselves have a very clean and organized feel.

Even a beginner could understand this software easily, and I felt confident I could launch a webinar in less than an hour and it run pretty smoothly.

WebinarGeek offers a 14 day free trial which is nice, and they didn't even ask for a credit card to test the software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WebinarGeek?

Some of the onboarding was confusing at time. That truly is my only complaint. It was nothing I could not figure out. For example, they gave test webinars. When I entered those, I was searching for an invite button to test-invite some people.

It was unclear that I was just a participant and not the webinar host for the test invites.

This is simply a critique of the onboarding process and not of the experience itself.

Sometimes buttons on the website are confusing, but I'm sure if I dove into the Academy that would be explained. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Nice useful application"
What do you like best about WebinarGeek?

Overall, signing up and logging into WebinarGeek was relatively easy, with no major friction points. For a first-time user, the instructions were clear, and the welcome screen/onboarding did a good job of explaining the platform’s value quickly, which helped set expectations early on, I liked that they used a video to provide insightful overviews.

Navigation felt intuitive, finding key sections was straightforward, and joining a trial webinar as a participant was smooth, with clear directions throughout the process.

Creating and scheduling a webinar was clear and easy to follow. The customization options stood out as especially intuitive, and the step-by-step setup made it easy to feel confident that everything was completed correctly before going live. I liked this part of the application the most.

The invite process was mostly simple, although it was slightly challenging to locate certain elements on the page at first. Confirmation and feedback messages were clear and reassuring. While the free trial limited testing at scale, the CSV upload feature looks essential for managing large numbers of invitees and would likely support growth well.

In general, the interface did feel a bit overwhelming at times. Pop-ups and large blocks of grey text on some pages made the experience feel cluttered, and help centre links weren’t always placed where you’d intuitively expect to find them (pictured). There are a few usability improvements that could make the experience smoother. Upcoming webinars would be easier to scan if they were listed vertically rather than horizontally at the top of the page. Additionally, navigating back to the homepage was sometimes frustrating, as the upper-left icon wasn’t always clickable or clearly functional. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WebinarGeek?

I would however say that the pop-ups on the website once in became quite annoying even though I understand they were trying to help you learn how to use the application.

Compared to tools like Zoom or Teams, the experience felt familiar enough that there was no steep learning curve, while still offering more functionality, as someone who has used those platforms more, I would say this was slightly overcomplicating the application in some parts.

The standout positives were the ability to choose between three different webinar types and how easy it was to set up a webinar from start to finish. These features made the platform feel purposeful and well-suited for different webinar goals. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Webinars, Exceptional Experience"
What do you like best about WebinarGeek?

I really like using WebinarGeek for webinars. It's honestly one of the easiest webinar platforms I've used. Everything is browser-based, which means I don't have to download a bunch of stuff, and it simplifies going live, especially when the Wi-Fi connection isn't great. The platform has interactive features like polls and quizzes that help me engage with my audience and understand what they're thinking, instead of just talking at a screen. I love that my audience can be interactive. Setting up a webinar is super simple, and the quality remains solid no matter where I'm hosting from, which I really love. It has all the necessary tools built into one platform, so I don't need to use anything else. It's a lifesaver. The initial setup was really easy, just a few questions, and it was ready to host my first webinar. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WebinarGeek?

The only thing that I think could possibly be an issue is if the Wi-Fi was lagging. But like I said, I haven't had an issue with that, so that's the only thing that I think in my head could be an issue if we didn't have strong Wi-Fi. But right now, I haven't experienced that. "Effortless Webinar Management with Intuitive Features"
What do you like best about WebinarGeek?

Signing up for WebinarGeek was simple, offering the convenience of logging in with either Microsoft or Google accounts. Navigating the platform felt intuitive, and using the automated webinar tool was seamless, with distinct sections for attendance, chat, and Q & A. I found the option to select whether chats are public or private particularly valuable, as it helps maintain confidentiality and privacy.

Inviting attendees proved straightforward, especially thanks to the ability to add participants through a CSV file, which is especially handy for larger groups. The email confirmation sent after adding a participant or contact was also a useful touch. I also appreciated how clearly the three types of webinars and their setup instructions were presented. The welcome screen's display of scheduled webinars is convenient, saving time by making this information immediately accessible without extra navigation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WebinarGeek?

The setup process was straightforward, though I found it unnecessary to be asked for the company name and job title right at the beginning—this information could easily be gathered later during profile completion.

The onboarding video that explains how to set up webinars and the various types available was clear and easy to understand. However, I think the “Getting Started Videos” icon should be larger, as it would make it easier to locate. While the onboarding experience was smooth and the explanation of webinar types was simple to grasp, I ran into trouble during a live webinar when I tried to add speaker notes to the slides and was unable to do so.

Participating in a trial webinar as an attendee was easy, and scheduling an automated webinar started off simple, but I found the options for registration customization unclear. Even after filling in all the required fields, my webinar was only saved as a draft, which meant I had to go back and make additional edits. It would be helpful if there were a prompt to confirm that all necessary information has been completed before moving forward. In general, I feel the website’s design could be enhanced to make it clearer how to add information. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
