When I conduct health awareness sessions or educational discussions, I often need a simple way to understand what people think and how well they understand a topic. Vevox helps me do that without making the process complicated. Getting started was easy and I was able to create sessions, add polls, collect responses, and share participation links without much effort. I use it whenever I want audience feedback, participation, or quick opinion gathering during a discussion. The features I find most useful are live polling, anonymous Q&A, audience feedback collection, presentation mode, and response tracking. These are the core features I use most because they help keep participants involved throughout the session. I think that Vevox is by far the best platform for the following reasons: Major pros: - versatility of questions you can ask (for instance, I wanted the audience to guess a number on a scale from 0 to 1 with 2 decimal places and display a histogram of the guesses along with an average guess- I can tell you that no other platform was capable of anything close to this) - plugin for PowerPoint works like a charm- (you do not need to upload your presentation to some Vevox online platform and display it from there, instead, Vevox plugs into your PowerPoint and you can add the questions between your slides. This is really important because the way your slides work outside PowerPoint is not uniform and some features like animations may not work in and online environment, some formatting may not be the same, etc.) Minor pros: - ease of audience connection to the platform (there is the QR code and then there is the web address where a session ID can be entered) - even the free version has more features and works better than the free versions of other platforms - great customer support **What do you dislike about Vevox?** For the results to be displayed properly you need to have a Vevox Plugin installed on the PowerPoint that your presentation is being played from. If you are presenting at a conference, this means that you need to check with the organizer of the conference that they install Vevox upfront or ask that you display the presentation from your own laptop where you have Vevox Plugin installed. You also need to be connected to the internet (obviously). It enables fast-paced and specific educational tasks to be attractively packaged and shared with students. It's versatile, enjoyable, and allows me to hear all my students, responding to each by capturing their individual work. Vevox enables students to provide their best work without anxiety, while also letting me show them how to improve further. This strengthens the teacher-student relationship and quickens the pace of progression, making it visible immediately to the students. I also appreciate how it allows the new AI generations to use mobile technology productively in user-friendly ways. The setup of Vevox was very easy, and using it alongside Quizlet connected to Moodle works well. Paying for a Vevox account was the best choice I've made after being unhappy with Moodle as the only institutional platform. **What do you dislike about Vevox?** The improvement that would help in these contexts is the data download. Everything arrives in spreadsheets which is great for viewing and thinking, but not so great for using. In other words, I would present to a whole group all their work (anonymised) with comments and feedback. They all learn from each other as well as me. I learn from them. But as it stands, I have to wrap Excel cells and cut/paste multiple times. **What problems is Vevox solving and how is that benefiting you?** Vevox captures student voices, enhancing personalization in learning and teaching. They have been able to offer guidance and advice to ensure I get the best out of the platform and that it meets my needs. **What do you dislike about Vevox?** I am not sure that there is anything about the platform that I have disliked. **What problems is Vevox solving and how is that benefiting you?** We needed a platform to host a MASSIVE quiz online, with up to 1500 users.
