"Elevates Student Engagement Effortlessly"

What do you like best about Vevox?

I really appreciate Vevox for how it helps with student engagement in both small and large groups. It makes it easy to engage students, especially since not all of them are confident to speak. I like that I can engage them in different ways through polls, surveys, and Q&A. The anonymity feature is great, allowing students to participate without fear, and I can choose to have responses anonymous or identified. I also value being able to download the data at the end for further analysis. The ease of live engagement and the way Q&A allows questions to be populated without interruption are standout aspects for me. Additionally, setting it up was easy since we have institutional access. What do you dislike about Vevox?

I think Vevox could improve by offering new features and more advanced analytics options instead of just downloading data as Excel. What do you like best about Vevox?

The ability to use surveys as self-paced quizzes for in-class assessment, including low-stakes summative assessment, is particularly strong. Students can work at their own pace within a set window, and as Vevox is integrated with Moodle, scores can be automatically transferred into the gradebook, which makes this viable at scale.

The updated presentation view has noticeably improved the teaching experience. Being able to embed slides directly into Vevox reduces the need to switch between tools, and the option to zoom and adjust font sizes supports accessibility and inclusive delivery.

For synchronous sessions, spin the wheel is a simple but effective way of increasing participation. It works well for discussion prompts and selection activities, and the ability to reset or retain options gives academics flexibility without adding complexity.
