"Superb, Responsive Support That Builds Confidence in Vevox"
5/5
What do you like best about Vevox?

We recently explored Vevox as a new platform after becoming unhappy with our previous solution. From the moment we decided to trial it, the team — especially Dominic, Kyle, and Charlie — has been nothing but helpful and extremely responsive to every question we've had.

We're not even fully through our contract yet, and they're still just as willing to jump in and answer anything we ask. Customer service has been superb from start to finish — quick replies, clear answers, and a genuine willingness to make sure we're set up for success.

It's rare to get this level of support before a contract is even finalized, and it's given us a lot of confidence in choosing Vevox going forward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Vevox?

The one area we'd love to see improved is how quizzes are set up — it could be more intuitive. That said, the team has been genuinely open to feedback and willing to take our recommendations on board, which speaks well to how they operate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Makes Health Educational Sessions More Interactive and Engaging"
5/5
What do you like best about Vevox?

I like Vevox because it helps make sessions more interactive and gives participants a simple way to share opinions and feedback. Instead of people only listening, they can actively take part through polls and Q&A, which makes discussions more useful and engaging. I work as a Dietician and Nutritionist, manage a homeopathy clinic, and also create health education content. When I conduct health awareness sessions or educational discussions, I often need a simple way to understand what people think and how well they understand a topic. Vevox helps me do that without making the process complicated. Getting started was easy and I was able to create sessions, add polls, collect responses, and share participation links without much effort. I use it whenever I want audience feedback, participation, or quick opinion gathering during a discussion.

The features I find most useful are live polling, anonymous Q&A, audience feedback collection, presentation mode, and response tracking. These are the core features I use most because they help keep participants involved throughout the session. Anonymous participation is especially helpful because people are often more comfortable sharing honest responses. Performance has also been good in my experience. Polls open quickly, responses appear in real time, and managing sessions feels smooth. I can easily see participation results and use that feedback to make future educational sessions better. Overall, Vevox gives me the main engagement tools I need in one place and helps make health education sessions more interactive, organized, and useful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Vevox?

At this stage, I do not have any major dislikes. The features I have used for polling, audience engagement, and feedback collection have worked well for my needs. My experience has been smooth so far, and I have not faced any significant issues during regular use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Vevox?

Vevox makes it easy to create interactive experiences for attendees without adding complexity for the event team. We especially like how quickly we can set up polls and Q&A, as well as the simple attendee experience using a QR code or link. The platform is intuitive and easy to manage during a live event. What do you dislike about Vevox?

We haven’t encountered any major issues with Vevox so far. Some of the additional functionality, such as the presentation features, isn’t something we currently need for our events, so we haven’t had much opportunity to explore those features. Overall, the core polling and Q&A functionality has worked well for our needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Excellent Platform for Interactive Lectures"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Vevox?

What I appreciate most about Vevox is how well it supports interactive sessions in classroom settings and lecture halls, no matter how many participants are involved.

It is incredibly useful for engaging students and keeping their attention during presentations.

I also really value the PowerPoint integration. It lets me add interactive elements directly into my existing slides.

My only concern is the lack of presenter control over when the countdown timer starts. This limitation affect the audience experience, especially when participants need time to read the question and answer options before responding. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Thank you for sharing your positive experience with Vevox! We're thrilled to hear that you find the platform exceptionally useful for engaging students and maintaining their attention during presentations. We appreciate your feedback on the two-slide system we'll certainly take that into consideration for future improvements, there are some limits on what we can do though, working fully embedded within a third-party software platform. Thanks again for taking the time to feedback.

"Simple, Intuitive Audience Engagement with Rock-Solid PowerPoint Integration"
5/5
What do you like best about Vevox?

Vevox is a fantastic audience engagement platform that I have found to be simple, and intuitive to use. Its PowerPoint integration is reliable and works exceptionally well. I particularly appreciate that it avoids unnecessary aesthetic design features that could slow down performance, especially when running PowerPoint presentations with embedded Vevox quiz slides while screen sharing or recording. I use Vevox regularly for knowledge-check quizzes at the end of lectures and for revision sessions before student exams. The platform enables students to self-assess their understanding while also allowing me to identify common areas of confusion and address them in real time. I primarily use the multiple-choice and word cloud features, as these closely mirror the question formats students will encounter in their assessments, helping them prepare more effectively. I am looking forward to exploring additional features, such as the demographics tool and AI features which I have not yet used. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Vevox?

While my overall experience has been very positive, I would appreciate greater control over the default slide layout. At present, some Vevox elements, such as the respondent count box, can obscure information on our teaching template slides, requiring manual repositioning to maintain visibility of key content. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Kate Beadell of Vevox

Thank you for your review! We're delighted to hear that Vevox's simplicity, intuitive design, and PowerPoint integration are helping you deliver effective lectures and revision sessions. It's especially great to know that quizzes and word clouds are helping students assess their understanding and helping you to adapt your teaching in real time. We also appreciate your feedback on slide layout customisation and will share your comments with our team as we continue to enhance the presentation experience.

"Engagement Booster for Large Lectures"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Vevox?

I find Vevox to be an easy tool to use, and it encourages engagement, especially in large introduction lectures where over 200 students might be hesitant to ask questions. It allows students to ask questions anonymously, which is a big plus. I also find it very effective for setting the scene in introduction lectures, thanks to its word cloud tool. This tool helps gauge students' perceptions or understandings of a particular topic. Additionally, the multiple-choice quizzes are great for recapping or ensuring student understanding, working well both during and at the end of a lecture. It's also useful for changing things up when attention starts to wane, providing a fresh change of scene with its various tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Vevox?

Nothing comes to mind Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Kate Beadell of Vevox

Thank you for your review Rachael! We're thrilled to hear that Vevox is helping boost engagement in your large lectures. It's great to know that features like anonymous Q&A, word clouds, and quizzes are helping students participate more confidently and stay focused throughout sessions. We're especially pleased that Vevox is supporting teaching at scale while making it easy to gauge understanding and encourage interaction.

"Vevox: Versatile Questions, Seamless PowerPoint Plugin, and Great Support"
5/5
What do you like best about Vevox?

I tried several audience response tools before I found Vevox, and I am eternally grateful to the person who recommended Vevox to me. I think that Vevox is by far the best platform for the following reasons:

Major pros:

- versatility of questions you can ask (for instance, I wanted the audience to guess a number on a scale from 0 to 1 with 2 decimal places and display a histogram of the guesses along with an average guess- I can tell you that no other platform was capable of anything close to this)

- plugin for PowerPoint works like a charm- (you do not need to upload your presentation to some Vevox online platform and display it from there, instead, Vevox plugs into your PowerPoint and you can add the questions between your slides. This is really important because the way your slides work outside PowerPoint is not uniform and some features like animations may not work in and online environment, some formatting may not be the same, etc.)

Minor pros:

- ease of audience connection to the platform (there is the QR code and then there is the web address where a session ID can be entered)

- even the free version has more features and works better than the free versions of other platforms

- great customer support Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Vevox?

For the results to be displayed properly you need to have a Vevox Plugin installed on the PowerPoint that your presentation is being played from. If you are presenting at a conference, this means that you need to check with the organizer of the conference that they install Vevox upfront or ask that you display the presentation from your own laptop where you have Vevox Plugin installed. You also need to be connected to the internet (obviously). These are not "cons" in a true sense, because there is really no way in which an audience response tool can function without being connected to the internet, but mere warnings to novice users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Kate Beadell of Vevox

We're thrilled to hear that Vevox has been a game-changer for your presentations! The versatility of questions and seamless PowerPoint integration are indeed some of our key features. We appreciate your feedback and are glad to have you as a satisfied customer.
