"Surveys, feedback, questionnaire, learning and more made very simple"

What do you like best about Vevox?

I see Vevox as a comprehensive, well thought out tool which is evolving all the time. I find it very intuitive to use and there are lots of online resources to reference and the support is second to none. I have used it extensively within our teams to run basic questionnaires, word clouds, to gather data and have used it for gamification in training and development. We as a team have even used it as part of our monthly meetups where we take it in turn to run quizzes where the losers run the next one! Its integration with PowerPoint has made it a seamless experience with our users and it’s easy to implement it withing our Teams calls and meetings. The use of a mobile phone is seen by our colleagues as easy and non-confusing with the other option of opening another browser window. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Vevox?

There are no real aspects of Vevox which I dislike. I would love to be part of product development or beta test new features with our teams if that is something they get customers to participate in. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Vevox solving and how is that benefiting you?

Apart from gathering data, our biggest benefit of using Vevox is for gamification. As part of a team that train non-technical people in the use of tools, applications and processes. We can use Vevox at the end of training session to quiz them on what they have learnt and reinforce concepts, process and thinking. We find there is greater interaction and even competitiveness in a learning environment which we would not get normally in a traditional training session. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Vevox in a 4th year finance class"

What do you like best about Vevox?

Thank you for your review! We're glad to hear that Vevox is making a positive impact on your finance class and improving student engagement and performance.

Thank you also for your feedback on exporting questions. We do have a couple of options available to you for re-purposing questions which may solve your problem.

1) All of your questions/polls inputted into Vevox from March 2024 will be saved in your 'Personal Question Library'. Any poll or survey questions you create are automatically saved into your personal library, saving you time and effort. You can find them by clicking the drop-down tab next to the ‘create new’ poll button.

2) You can also export any questions you have asked when you export the data reports from a Vevox session. This will provide you with an excel report that contains all the questions asked (in poll or survey format). You can take the questions from there and share them with your students for practice.

What do you like best about Vevox?

Vevox is a very easy platform to use, and can be used in a variety of ways, which makes it perfect for our University. All that is needed to get started is an internet connection and a web browser, and as long as participants have a web-enabled device they can join and take part. What do you dislike about Vevox?

There are no real downsides to the platform, Vevox has made lots of improvements to functionality over the years in response to user feedback! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Vevox solving and how is that benefiting you?

The polling functionality allows teaching staff to gauge student understanding of topics as well as break up teaching sessions with a fun and engaging activity. It's useful for staff to use as well, to provide instant and anonymous feedback on topics during meetings or training sessions.

We are also using more of the survey functionality, for teaching staff to be able to get more regular feedback from students as to how they have found teaching sessions or topics. The quizzes are also excellent for allowing teaching staff and students to assess their own understanding of a topic in a low-risk way, with the option to have leaderboards so students can see how they rank against others, which can be done anonymously too! For icebreaker scenarios, we always recommend to run live polls, especially in event environments, to get your audience interacting with you in real-time. The word cloud feature is available to use in this way and is a fantastic visual experience as you see everyone's responses loading in the moment.

"Challenges in Accessibility and Usability for Large-Scale Quiz Sessions"

What do you like best about Vevox?

The best part about VIVOX is its seamless integration with PowerPoint presentations, allowing for a smooth and interactive experience directly within the slides. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Vevox?

The major drawback is the need to download separate software on the presenting desktop. This poses a challenge in large public areas, like conferences, where not all desktops are pre-installed with the app, often necessitating connecting my laptop. Additionally, the updates in the latest version are not easily compatible with PowerPoint presentations as they were in previous versions. This creates further complications, making the newer version cumbersome to use effectively. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Vevox solving and how is that benefiting you?

VIVOX addresses the challenge of integrating interactivity within PowerPoint presentations, making it easy to conduct live quizzes and polls. This feature is particularly beneficial for me as a radiologist, where I frequently need to present and discuss a large number of images on PowerPoint slides. The previous version of VevOX offered even smoother integration, allowing me to effortlessly incorporate interactivity without disrupting the flow of my image-based presentations. I'm please to confirm that there's no need to download any additional software when using Vevox, if using Vevox from your account dashboard it is completely web based, no downloads required.

To use the Vevox PowerPoint add-in, your chosen device will need to have PowerPoint, either on Windows or Mac, but that's all you'll need! Simply open PowerPoint, and you can add Vevox within the application under 'add ons'. From there you can log into your account and create polls without needing to leave PowerPoint, no additional downloads needed!
