**What do you like best about TextUs?**

What I like most is how fast and easy it is to get responses. Texting just works better than calls or emails, and TextUs makes it really simple to reach candidates or employees and actually hear back quickly.

It’s also super easy to use. Most people pick it up without much training, and it fits right into the workflow instead of feeling like “another system” to manage.

The two-way texting and ability to send messages in bulk is a big plus too. You can have real conversations while still reaching a lot of people at once, which saves a ton of time.

Overall, it just makes communication quicker, more direct, and way more effective.

**What do you dislike about TextUs?**

There are definitely some limitations, especially as you scale. Managing large groups or sending mass texts can feel a little clunky and not as streamlined as you’d expect.

There can also be occasional glitches or delivery issues, which is frustrating when you’re relying on it for real-time communication.

Another downside is that some features feel a bit limited. Things like messaging options or flexibility aren’t always as robust as you’d want, especially for more complex use cases.

Overall, it works really well for day-to-day use, but once you start pushing it harder or using it at scale, you start to notice some gaps.

TextUs solves the biggest issue in recruiting and communication, which is just getting people to respond. Emails get ignored and calls go to voicemail, but texting actually gets attention and quick replies. That alone speeds everything up.

It also cuts down a lot of manual work. Instead of individually reaching out or tracking conversations in different places, everything is centralized with automation, templates, and campaigns that let you reach a lot of people at once without losing that personal feel.

Another big problem it solves is visibility. Having all conversations, responses, and history in one place makes it way easier to stay organized, avoid duplicate outreach, and keep the team aligned.

The benefit is pretty simple, it saves time, increases response rates, and helps move things faster, whether that’s filling jobs, confirming shifts, or just getting quick answers when you need them.

Overall, it takes communication from slow and scattered to fast and actually effective.

**What do you like best about TextUs?**

It was very user friendly, new users were able to easily use it without too much explanation. There was very little downtime, its very reliable. Ultimately we decided to move on because they increased pricing to a point where it was no longer feasible for us, we found a cheaper alternative. Support was always helpful, however they didnt have a number I could call, I could only communicate via email, or a chat widget on their website.

They increased the subscription cost substantially, it would have been best to implement a system where you pay for the amount of SMS messages that you send.

It helped us communicate efficiently with customers by sending links to schedule service, reminders regarding appointments, and general inquiries.

I appreciate how TextUs has significantly streamlined our operations with its seamless integration with Salesforce. This integration is particularly valuable as it allows our technicians to view all previous conversations with a specific customer or account directly when accessing their Salesforce profile. The TextUs Chrome extension enhances this experience by instantly pulling up past customer interactions, ensuring we are well-prepared with customer history. I also love how TextUs caters to the preferences of our younger generation customers by enabling text communication. This feature not only improves customer satisfaction by offering a preferred communication channel but also reduces the need for time-consuming phone calls by providing a convenient method to confirm and remind customers of appointments. Furthermore, the ability for customers to send photos of their equipment allows our technicians to arrive on-site fully prepared, enhancing the efficiency and quality of service we can offer. Additionally, I find the setup process for TextUs incredibly straightforward, and whenever challenges arise, the presence of a supportive TextUs representative to guide us through has been instrumental in easing the setup process. It is quite difficult to send mass texts without having to re-upload contacts or set up a group, which makes the process less user-friendly.

In student housing, the generation we are trying to connect with communicates almost exclusively through text messages at all hours. They rarely check their emails and often ignore phone calls. Texting has become the most effective and convenient way to reach them.

Ability to link my texting platform to our CRM system Bullhorn. Very easy to see notes track into the system from inbound and outbound messages. Clear tools for broadcasting vs traditional messages. Constantly using to keep in touch with my caregivers.

I think the pop out widget could be more efficient and work better. Sometimes it is clucky with pulling the correct number or numbers in general. Also wish it had an auto refresh every so often or a better notification as there are times I dont see new messages until I refresh the page myself.

Status updates are not always forthcoming and I would like to see more proactive nature of their communications.

I really like the simplicity of the system and the entire implementation process. We have had no issues since implementing the system about 10 months ago. Anytime I have questions about something, it is easy to reach someone for support. We have two different accounts for different departments within the company, and our employees are able to reach us easily via text rather than calling or emailing.

Nothing so far. There have been a few outages in the system, but they keep us notified and send updates as fixes are made.

Providing an easy contact method for employees to reach HR and Payroll, as well as the communication between applicants and the recruiter during the interview and onboarding process.

**What do you like best about TextUs?**

My colleagues and I use TextUs daily. I personally have the TextUs extension, on my default browsers tool bar and use Textus continuously throughout my workday. The #1 feature I use constantly is the campaign feature. Which allows me to reach many potential candidates, all at once. I also like the suggestions that TextUs provides. The suggestions help me send engaging messages that capture my candidate’s attention. Recruiting is an extremely "noisy" World to try to capture candidates in. In addition to cold calling, sending emails, reaching out on job boards, and having an application like TextUs, has transformed and elevated the way I communicate with potential candidates. I have had 3 placements all because I was able to connect with a candidate quickly, keep them engaged, and follow-up up with them easily all through the TextUs application.

I would suggest adding the option to add email addresses when uploading lists.

I like that I can reach out to all my workers without having to transfer multiple sources of data. The system is so easy to use that what used to take me a long to complete with other sites now take me seconds to do.

I love that I can schedule campaigns in advance and reach massive target groups. I don't need to be sitting in front of my computer sending out tedious messages one at a time. This allows me to be efficient and talk to candidates from my phone at any time. r.

I dislike when the textus server is down, or there's a bug that prevents me from being able to reach candidates. It doesn't happen often, but when it does, it significantly impacts my ability to do my work.

I don't need to give my personal cell number to thousands of random people. I can also reach a large amount of people with the click of a button, which aids in my work productivity and efficiency.

**What do you like best about TextUs?**

I love how quick and easy we can communicate with our clients and caregivers. We use it quite frequently in our jobs as recruiters in our agency so it's nice to have something this easy to use to communicate with a lot of people in such a short amount of time. It's easy to text a mass group of people by adding contacts into groups so that comes in handy when it's time to reach out to caregivers for their monthly or annual requirements. It's helped my job as a recruiter immensely!

**What do you dislike about TextUs?**

The text character limits are the only qualm that I have with TextUs. Sometimes I really need more space to write a message but the limits force me to send multiple messages which isn't as convenient. Sometimes the texts are delivered quickly in those fragments and it takes a few minutes to type all the messages out so candidates get a little confused sometimes. Other than that small thing - TextUs is great! We just need a higher character limit!

**What problems is TextUs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TextUs is solving the issue of reaching a large pool of candidates in our area! As a recruiter, we make cold calls and, most of the time, candidates will not answer a call from a number they do not know. However, when we text them a message advertising the jobs we are calling for and they see what the call was pertaining to, we typically get text or call responses.

Templates, ease of use, speed track day-to-day communication quickly.

**What do you dislike about TextUs?**

I wish that it connected better with our companies API, I have to manually add contacts which is the most time consuming part of the process. I can use my companies pre-set texting templates, but I can't personalize the templates so I just add manually into the textus Chrome Extension.

Also, I have to uninstall and reinstall the chrome extension maybe once a month. Sometimes daily if I work from my laptop versus company-provide PC.

**What problems is TextUs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Speeding up candidate communications. I use it to piggy-back on my emails to candidates to get them to review my email and have the experience feel more personalized.

TextUs gives me easy access to reach out to candidates and families for updates, schedules, ect when  a phone call would not be neccesarry or urgent. 
 I also love that I can download the app on my personal phone to keep track of incoming messages or reach out to nurses when I am on call for the weekend without having to log into my work laptop!

The ability to not recieve pictures or documents via text and limited characters in each message.

Fast and easy communication with multiple candiates and families at one time. Great for mulitaskers and our evolving generation using texting only.

The fact that I can integrate it with my office line so the people I call, get a text from that same number is HUGE! Having more than one number can be red flags to people these days.

As a recruiter, an application like TextUs is perfect for being able to blast out to multiple candidates at a time.

My company places the option to opt out of a text message before the candidate gets a chance to read the content. Often times they mistake it for spam and opt very quickly.

**What problems is TextUs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Textus solves the problem of outreach to candidates in bulk. Text messaging is the current wave. Everyone glances at their phone throughout the day. I've been using TextUs for many years. I've loved that they've added many messaging templates and tutorials over the years. Plus, it lets you know if a phone number is not really a cell number.

**What do you like best about TextUs?**

TextUs has been very useful to our office for reaching out to field staff members with important updates. We use it frequently and it has been a useful tool for customer service inquiries.

**What do you dislike about TextUs?**

The character limit is NOT enought. We used to be allowed to text messages up to 480 characters (which was perfect!), but now, we have an egregous limit of 320 characters, which is not enough for some of the very important reminders that we send as a company. 

The text blasts/campaigns should have an option of editings, removing individuals, editing message, etc.

We cannot send or receive images through this platform and have to have separate emails

Caregiver's contact will not pop-up when searching the actual number instead of name

**What problems is TextUs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problem was solved when they gave us back the 480 character limit, however, it was reduced to 320 once again and has not improved from there.

**What do you like best about TextUs?**

I like the fast and efficient communication I have with my clients. I never miss a text and always am able to respond faster than a phone call. My clients love that I can talk to them at a drop of a hat! This is also convenient for follow up questions because the person is saved as a contact. Textus is the best!

**What do you dislike about TextUs?**

I dont like that I have to change my password. I sometimes forget it and have to log in everyday and my password doesnt save. Other than that I love Textus and it is GREAT! Still no compliants with Textus aside from that.

It is solving the phone call problem. A lot of us dont have time to use the phone all day and a text does the trick to get us up and going and avoid a call phone call. 
This is also very helpful to get information quickly e.i. during flu season.

I like that TextUs is easy & convenient. I have the mobile app as well. So if I miss a message on my computer it comes straight to my phone. Their IT/tech team is always quick to e-mail when there are major issues with the system. They also respond whenever I submit tickets about issues that I have, and they always follow up on the issue until it's resolved.

**What do you dislike about TextUs?**

I don't like scheduling campaigns to go out & the system goes down, sometimes they are sent out of order and/or to the wrong person.

They're always quick to notify us when an issue has arisen and quickly fixes it in minimum 24-48 hours.

As an admin, I love the features TextUs has for my team.  They are easy to use and navagate.  I also love the detailed reports that allows us to see what is working and what is not.

Sometimes support is slow to respond.  Had an issue that took much longer to resolve than desired.

We send hundreds of texts a day.  This allows us to stay on top of all those conversations and help us create a better relationship with our clients.

**What do you like best about TextUs?**

Textus has been essential to communication with our employees and applicants. We send multiple texts each day to a variety of employees and candidates. Our recrutiing team is able to send out group texts to determine applicant's interest in various roles and keep them engaged through out the hiring process by sending quick updates. Our managers are able to communicate with employees without taking time away from their work to respond to a phone call from our office. People tend to respond quicker to texts than phone calls and TextUs has been vital in our recrutiment and staffing managment business.

**What do you dislike about TextUs?**

Nothing really comes to mind. We have a lot of users on one account so sometimes it can be a bit disorganized, but the assigned to me feature helps with keeping your messages visible.

Timely communication with candidates/employees. We have been able to process applicants quickly and meet deadlines with the use of TextUs.

I use TextUs in conjunction with Bullhorn to track applicants. I like how TextUs automatically imports all text messages. That way, whenever a candidate calls into our office, all the correspondence between the individual and anyone in our organization with TextUs can see where the candidate is in the process. 

Update: Just discovered the Legacy Popout feature, which I like because you can see all the conversations between the candidate and recruiters. Using this feature, it's also easier to read text strings.

**What do you dislike about TextUs?**

Takes a long time to load. Seems like a latency issue between Bullhorn and TextUs.

Update: Difficult to read text conversations sent through multiple messages because they parse oldest to newest in Bullhorn. Therefore, we need to read backwards in order to read the whole conversation!

**What problems is TextUs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Texting is a faster way to get ahold of most candidates, so when quick answers are needed, or bits of info exchanged, it's the ideal communication method. TextUs provides a secure, trackable way to communicate with candidates! 

Update: I like the feature where you can delete pictures from the text string. This enables us to receive bank proof through Textus, upload the proof, then delete it from the text string for candidate privacy.
Also, when we need to send a mass message, Textus is extremely helpful through the Campaign feature. The phone number search in webpage is so useful for this!

Text us is very helpful and there are very minimal downsides about using the platform. I would say the way notifications are displayed could be a little more eye catching to respond in real time.

Texting is the best way to communicate with a fast paced society! I like how it makes my job more efficent, as I am able to communicate with more people and more efficently.

I wish I was able to pull up contacts easier, without having to input the phone number and type in the contact's name if they were already have an active thread; I wish this process was more efficent.

TextUs is a total upgrade from our prior texting service. We use this software daily for 100's of texts a day. TextUs' support is the best. They have quick response time when we need it and they made the implementation a breeze.

TextUs has a great chrome extension which is great but it is a little glitchy still with Salesforce.

TextUs is cominuing to improve their Chrome Extension that talks with Saleforce. This is huge for us!

It allows quick communication .
I use the campaign function daily . Its accurate easy to use , generates useful reports . It works ..!
My textus person is very responsive

But by and by it works

I find most people respond most rapidly to text as apposed to email. I hardly get a timely response to voicemail. 

Text is silent and discrete as responses can be given in seconds.

**What do you dislike about TextUs?**

It would be much better is my corporate phone number could be used in TextUs. I believe many more people would use this product if you did.

1. Clients seening multiple numbers is confusing.
2. Clients can't call the TextUs numbers. I don't know how many lost contacts I had due to people calling and realizing that this is not a 'real number'. Personally, my first thoughts would be 'scam' .

**What problems is TextUs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quicker, easier responses to cold and warm contacts whether it be candidates, clients, or sales prospects. 

Recruiting is time sensitive so, especially in reaching out to candidates, TextUs is a tool I would not like to work without.

I'm in TextUs all day every day, texting for work. It is very easy to use, campaigns are awesome, getting the email notifications of texts can be very helpful when my computer doesn't ding about a text.

Being able to connect with our employees in real-time in a way that works for them has been a game changer. Our responses have greatly improved and our employees appreciate having a direct line to the HR team. The number of features are impressive and we enjoy the campaign portion. We have also had to chat with customer service a few times and they have been very helpful. We use Textus on a daily basis and rarely have any issues. Both the implementation and integration were easy.

I like that you are able to set up templates and that they are able to use variables to adapt to contact names. Its very helpful for when you have to send the same message to multiple users, but still want the message to feel personalized.

**What do you dislike about TextUs?**

I dislike that there isn't the option, for my workflow at least, to integrate names and contact information automatically. So I have to add every contact manually, then manually copy it onto my message log.

Text us makes it easy to contact many users at once and even allows to schedule messages to be sent out in the future. So it makes it easy to contact multiple people at once.

I think the most helpful part is being able to blast a lot of people at once. While prospecting over the phone is still very helpful, it's nice to have something running in the background that essentially gives me two prospecting methods at the same time.

**What do you dislike about TextUs?**

The only downside I can really think of is the character limit. I know there have been studies in the past that show shorter messages work better than longer, but in my experience, giving a little more detail as to who I am and why I am reaching out has worked better for me.

**What problems is TextUs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Textus is solving the problem of outreach in general. With everything I do in a day, there's no way I could individually text 200+ people and still finish what I have on my plate for the day.

TextUs makes it possible to categorize and send out blast messages to a whole audience and have conversations if needed! It has been such a great app to have and utilize!

I wish there was a dedicated  "delete" contact button but instead there is something different that is a bit confusing.

TextUs solves any miscommunication that happens when trying to get information out to parents in a timely manner and being able to have conversations at the same time, if needed.
