We couldn’t be happier using Novi as our association management software. We made the switch a year ago, and my only complaint is that we didn’t sign up sooner. There's a lot of things that would be great to have, without having to purchase extra services or integrations. Another thing that stands out, would be to be able to delete questions from events, that way if your copying an event from a prior year, you can just delete the questiosn that you don't need, and leave the ones that you do. We use Ready Membership for the CMS, CRM, Events, Payments and Email Centre. Each of these provides a solution. The CMS is great - very intuitive and allows us to easily update our website and provide our members with diverse and highly customisable content. The CRM allows us to track membership, follow individual members and categorise different groups of members. The Events function is wonderful, as it allows us to create a range of events with details and communications. We are able to charge various amounts for different types of registrations and include sub-events (which is how we are creating the event page for our conference). Payments are effective and there is a flexibility for the members and our staff. The Email Centre is great for communicating with members as a whole, and groups of members. It will take quite a bit of time to set up and configure your account. You may need to allow more time for the setup process than your implementation manager will want you to take, so keep this in mind when planning. We have been able to combine data from multiple sources, and this has been a big time-saver. We also use the platform for membership management, which has made tracking membership expiration much more efficient than it was previously. Finally, the ability to manually approve event registrations is essential for us and we use it extensively for our largest annual event, which has also saved us a lot of time. Some of our processes and policies are a bit unconventional, and the options for customization in those areas are somewhat restricted. As a result, we've had to come up with creative workarounds to function effectively within the system. Since we have a small team, it's important for us that everything is user-friendly and accessible to everyone for collaborative work. While Daxko Operations is powerful, some of its features could use modernization. The interface can feel dated at times, and navigating between modules sometimes requires too many clicks. Additionally, certain reports could be more customizable, and system slowdowns occur occasionally during peak usage. Daxko Operations has streamlined many of our day-to-day processes across membership management, billing, scheduling, and reporting. Before using Daxko, tracking member payments, class attendance, and staff schedules required multiple systems and manual spreadsheets. Now, everything is centralized—making it much easier to manage member data, handle cancellations or holds, and process payments accurately. The automation of tasks like drafting, reporting, and payroll saves a tremendous amount of time and reduces human error. Overall, it has improved efficiency, communication between departments, and the overall member experience by ensuring smoother operations and faster service. The content editor can have glitches at times. I've noticed that it can add extra characters after publication and can be finicky with special characters. Additionally, it is very important to save work if you are working on the same content for a long time - I've experienced (the hard way) that you could be logged out of your account and lose all your work. Honestly, I do not have any complaints. I suppose if I had to say anything in the "dislike" category, it is that there are so many capabilities that it can be a bit overwhelming for the first few hours (although I feel like I was easily up and running before my first day of development was over). The main problem with this tools is it's monthly subscription plan which is too costly for us as they charge it everytime on a monthly basis and we have small employees group who all are active on this platform. So, for us it has not been that affordable so far but trust me it is a good people management software mostly for large companies having multiple employees groups. Our experience has been gradually improved because they have worked alot on their interface and also made the software more user-friendly from in these last few months. There were lots of glitches in their web version but now they have a clean and better user interface and that makes much easy for our team to manage employees group well and keep track record of all the little and important details about them. The reporting features still leave much to be desired. I would prefer to have the ability to access all data points from the database within a single report, allowing me to select exactly the information I want to view, instead of having to locate a report that contains only some of the details and then combine it with another. Additionally, it would be helpful to have a kiosk option for our volunteers to check in without needing to log in each time. Neon has assembled a suite of software that functions seamlessly together. The Neon CRM system is an excellent resource for tracking donations and staying connected with our donors. I also value its ability to integrate with our other systems. Thanks to this platform, we have been able to reduce expenses by discontinuing at least three other software solutions previously used for volunteers, donations, events, and memberships. I am also considering the possibility of phasing out Constant Contact in the future. The person - account setting is fine, works great. But it does present challenges when you try to work with 3rd parties who 'integrate' with Salesforce. The person-account is something they need to understand and handle, which evidently is not common. You cannot 'create contacts' directly from an API, you have to let Salesforce create the person-account, which will automatically create the connected 'contact' object and be properly linked. This is Nimble's problem only because Nimble uses the person-accounts setting of Salesforce.

The basic Nimble license (based on a Salesforce PLATFORM license) does not include several objects that Salesforce itself might include if it were a regular Salesforce license. (Campaigns is one example). You may need to make sure you have the correct licenses for objects you will need.

When we first went live in 2017, Nimble didn't have a lot of hands on training for those who would be administering Nimble and Salesforce. I believe this may have improved since then. I wish they had short 'how-to' videos for super-users/admins. They have great documentation, but I am the "show-me" kind of learner.

Understanding that they are not the Salesforce guru for you & their best expertise is their own product - at the beginning, not being already a Salesforce guru myself, it was painful figuring out what was Salesforce and what was Nimble. Our complex online join needed us to tweak the Community Hub, but is working great. We reduced all physical paper needed to be submitted in order to be considered as a member. We do not let anyone join automatically w/out a human review, but the process is so much better now.

The member web interface is almost out-of the box. It is easy now for our members to buy products, register for events, and edit their own data online.

The annual renewal is done with payments online using the Express URL featurer after the bulk renewals are run - No more mailing of renewal notices and hardly any checks have to be processed.
