It is pretty straightforward to use, which is honestly what I liked most. Creating surveys feels quick - you can drag in question types, add logic,and get something usable without spending an hour figuring out the UI. The templates save time for common feedback forms, and integrations with the broader Zoho ecosystem are practical if you already use Zoho apps. I also liked response reporting being easy to understand without exporting everything immediately.

The UI is simple, but deeper customization sometimes feels buried. If you want more polished branding, advanced survey logic or detailed analytics, it takes more clicking than expected.

**What do you like best about Zoho Survey?**

I love this platform for its reliable and availability of all critically needed features for an efficient survey. I also love this platform for its numerous templates that is available which greatly assist in launching similar survey quickly and efficiently. Other than this, the platform have all necessary form creation tools whether that be custom form creation or AI form creation. I have seen the AI of this platform building complex questionnaire for the survey  with just a simple prompt which is really commendable. The distribution of forms in this platform is also very efficient with capability of forms to be embedded in the website. The multi distribution channel of survey forms for this platform ensures a more rich data for a better result for decision making. The integration of this platform with the Zoho ecosystem makes this platform more robust and strong. For me, I like the performance of this platform and is reliable to be used for critical surveys. Despite its all many features this platform have a very user friendly interface. The onboarding process of this platform was also easy. The pricing of this platform is also moderate.

I love most part of this platform but that there was more customization possible on this platform for designing templates. I also wish that the mobile platform is also as good as the web interface.

Marketing research and normal survey have been made so much easier with this platform. The platform ability to create variety of forms with the templates and AI support of the platform is really satisfying. The quality of the questions for the survey is better. This generates good results that can be used for efficient decision making. The distribution capability also allows us to distribute the forms efficiently. The Zoho Analytics also assist in generating reliable output from the raw data to a reasonable conclusion.

What I like most is how fast I can go from an idea to a live survey. The drag-and-drop builder is genuinely intuitive, so I’m not wasting an hour trying to figure out how to add logic or set up branching. I also really appreciate the pre-built templates—they don’t look “cheap,” and they save me from having to design everything from scratch, especially when I’m in a rush.

The only real downside for me is the template design. The templates are functional and professional, but some of the themes feel a bit “old school” compared to newer, more minimalist tools. Because of that, it takes a little extra effort using the custom CSS or branding settings to make the survey look truly modern and fully on-brand for our company.

**What do you like best about Zoho Survey?**

What I like best is it is very easy to use, I can quickly create follow up forms after consultation. Ease of implementation was simple, I started using it without much setup. I use it regularly to collect patient feedback and understand how they are following diet plans, so frequency of use is quite regular in my work.

I am a Dietician and Nutritionist and also manage a homeopathy clinic where I give diet and lifestyle guidance, including online consultation. Along with Zoho Survey is helping me in managing follow up and patient response in a better way.

One good thing is I can directly share the survey link with patients or clients through email or any medium, which saves time. Also in the summary section I can clearly see responses and analyse them, like where patients are improving and where they are facing difficulty, this helps me in giving better guidance.

Themes option is also useful, I can keep the form simple and clean so it looks more professional when shared. It also works well on mobile, so I can check responses anytime. Ease of integration is smooth, I can easily include it in my workflow. It helps me keep my patient follow up more organised and based on actual response.

Sometimes while editing questions or changing order, it takes little extra clicks and feels slightly slow. Also in summary section, basic analysis is clear but for more detailed comparison I have to check things manually. It is not a big issue, but during busy work it takes little time. Honestly, the biggest win for me is how effortlessly it integrates with our CRM. With previous tools, getting a client's survey answers to actually attach to their profile was always a clunky, manual process. With Zoho, that data flows exactly where it needs to go automatically, which saves us a ton of manual data entry.
Beyond that, the builder itself is incredibly intuitive. It’s mostly drag-and-drop, which means I can spin up a quick, simple poll in about five minutes. But when I need to build something heavier—like a complex customer satisfaction survey with branching paths and skip logic—all those advanced tools are right there and easy to figure out without needing a computer science degree.
I also have to shout out the real-time reporting. Being able to watch the charts and trends shift instantly as responses roll in, instead of having to manually export everything to a messy spreadsheet first, is a massive time-saver

**What do you dislike about Zoho Survey?**

the biggest frustration is how limited the customization feels unless you're paying for their top-tier plans. While I can slap our logo on a form, the overall design and built-in themes feel a bit dated. Getting a survey to look truly modern and perfectly on-brand takes way more effort than it should, and it often still looks like a generic web form.
Also, while the quick real-time reporting is great for a high-level glance, it hits a wall if you want to do any deep-dive data analysis. The built-in charts and visual analytics are pretty basic. If I need to run complex cross-tabulations or get really granular with the insights, I almost always end up having to export the raw data to manipulate it elsewhere.

**What problems is Zoho Survey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest problem it solves is the huge disconnect between collecting customer feedback and actually putting it to use. In the past, we’d send out a survey, get a bunch of responses dumped into a spreadsheet, and then someone had to manually dig through the data and update individual client files. It created a major administrative bottleneck.

Zoho Survey essentially removes that gap. Because the integration with our CRM is so tight (especially if you’re already in the Zoho ecosystem), a client’s survey responses automatically sync straight to their profile without me having to lift a finger.

For me, the main benefit is the speed we can react with now. If a customer leaves a poor rating or a frustrated comment, their account manager has that context immediately and can reach out to do damage control. It turns survey data from a static, boring spreadsheet into an active, real-time tool for managing customer relationships, and it saves us countless hours of tedious manual data entry.

The 'Drag and Drop' feature is so useful, saving me time as I don't need to learn any technical or coding related skills. I just pick a question type and drop it exactly where I want it. I'm also a big fan of the real-time analytics feature as it allows me to see charts and trends right at my dashboard. The integration with the rest of the Zoho suite is a huge strength, as survey responses automatically feed into our CRM without the need for complex manipulations. I appreciate the incredible variety of question types available, from rating scales to sliders, which makes filling out the survey much less monotonous for the end user. The ability to easily translate surveys into multiple languages is an essential asset for our company, which works with clients all over Europe and the United States.

The Zoho Survey mobile app could use a serious update, as editing a questionnaire on a smartphone is far from enjoyable when you're on the go.

Sometimes, the Zoho Survey administration interface can be a bit slow to load when handling surveys that exceed fifty questions with a lot of media.

One thing which I dislike about Zoho Survey is some of its advance features is only available when we upgrade the plan, so for more complex surveys it may feel restrictive.
Customization is very limited in designing the surveys, basic branding is possible but its not much flexible to fully customize the layouts or styles.
The built-in reports are good for summaries but deep analytics or custom report is limited.

I use Zoho Survey to get employee feedback effectively, no matter where they are located. What I like most is its ease of use, including the ability to quickly create surveys and its intuitive, user-friendly setup. The multi-channel distribution options are great, allowing me to send surveys through email, text links, social media, QR codes, and even on our website. This makes it easy to ensure everyone is reached. The ability to brand the surveys is a nice touch, and the reporting and analytics provide a simple dashboard to track responses, making the overall process efficient.

While there's very little I don't like about Zoho Survey, the simplicity of the design is not as sophisticated as other survey platforms we use.
