**What do you like best about Zoho Social?**

It manages a lot of posting, messaging, reports, etc. within the app and makes it pretty easy to cross-post across platforms, while also editing the individual platforms for length and assets. It has a lot of various functionalities and report building that can be helpful for the team. By being integrated with our CRM we can better identify people messaging through the platform vs having to go to each platform individually. Handles a lot of automation and the mobile app is decent.

**What do you dislike about Zoho Social?**

There are a number of things, like cover images on videos, video titles, and various image/asset things that can be a little fussy. Some are easy enough to post cross-platform and then go into the individual platform an tweak, but still an extra step. When automating things it's best to keep it simple.

**What problems is Zoho Social solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cross-platform posting is the biggest thing and considering the cost for Zoho Social as part of the Zoho One suite it's hard to beat.

Zoho one is great for 1 account management, it replaces other tools like Buffer.

I don’t like that in a zoho one crm where we find Zoho Social, it only allows you to manage 1 accounts and channels. It should allow more than one.. if its a tool for agencies to use, the price is too high to add more

It is not intuitive by design and there are a lot of clicks required to get to needed pages.
It is not that well integrated into Zoho itself and we did not really win by having it in the same ecosystem.

As I revisited Zoho Social for my new position, I find that a lot of their basic functions are no part of their more expensive plans.

Can't add Instagram stories and Facebook stories. When adding all the social media channels, it makes into a single brand which is quite confusing. Can't post carousel posts.

It was easy to implement and update. Was able to rebrand it with our consistent branding without issue. Managing the different platforms was pretty seamless.

Standardized text and types for social media and the analysis weren't as helpful as we thought it would be. Hard to put stoppers on some of the media you don't want, more of an all-or-nothing format.

We were trying to manage all or most of our marketing streams from one centralized location with Zoho and added Social as a test to see how we liked it.

I can't customize posts for different social media. Instagram has some limitations. 
Customer care is not that prompt.

**What do you like best about Zoho Social?**

Zoho Social offers all of the basic capabilities you would expect from social management software.  I appreciate being to streamline scheduling across multiple platforms and like the CRM integration Zoho offers.

**What do you dislike about Zoho Social?**

There are issues with being able to tag Instagram handles, and you can add locations to posts in scheduling. This must be edited after the post goes live.  Reporting is where I'd love to see the most improvement - there is not a way to look at combined analytics, or get true engagement numbers now that Facebook changed their API to falsely weight their data against reach instead of impressions.  Monitoring doesn't allow you to actually monitor comments on posts, just mentions, which seems odd since most comment activity falls onto post content itself.  Would love to see a way to schedule draft content without an image/video associated with it as well.

**Recommendations to others considering Zoho Social:**

Definitely go through the trial of the product first, to decide if this is the best solution for you.

Have cut down on the amount of time needed to schedule/post content across social channels.

I like their app and how easy it is to post across multiple platforms.

I think that the service is too expensive.  I use the lowest tier of their product and I would not increase to the next tier because I don't think it's worth the price.  There are some neat tools but they aren't worth their price.

It works well and saves you time when posting to social media but to get the full benefit of the services, be prepared to spend more than the service is probably worth.

**What do you like best about Zoho Social?**

Now that I've used Zoho Social's social media calendar integrated into the Chrome extension popup/overlay, I'm going to have to have it everywhere. Buffer, for instance, which I've used for years, doesn't have this feature and its Chrome extension looks outdated in comparison to Zoho Social's.

In general, Zoho Social is a powerful manager for social media publishing with the usual features of draft posts, scheduling, and analytics. I also appreciate the live stream of mentions and retweets in the dashboard although the notifications badge seems to partially duplicate this information for no apparent reason.

I do like being able to instantly act on a retweet or mention (reply, follow, find out more info) just bey clicking on it in the live stream.

Handling multiple brands is a breeze.

**What do you dislike about Zoho Social?**

I do have to say there are are interface quirks and in general the UI can be a bit confusing. As I mentioned above, the live stream and notifications badge/menu provide duplicate information, although the live stream doesn't seem to retain a history as the notifications popup does. Confusing.

SEMrush's calendar is better implemented and more powerful than Zoho Social's and its Chrome extension is more powerful as well.

I had some trouble getting media to show up in a tweet when using the Chrome extension.

**Recommendations to others considering Zoho Social:**

Make sure you try out competitors before upgrading to a pro account. You may not need it and you may find a more suitable solution.

Managing so many social media accounts for any particular brand is a chore without a dedicated software solution. Zoho Social is a solid offering and makes most tasks easy. It's not my favorite, however.

Full, functional reporting that makes sense. It's actually fun to use.  You get a bird's eye view of your posts performance, with graphs and metrics that allow you to understand what is working for you and what isn't.

**What do you dislike about Zoho Social?**

1) The link shortener is unreliable...
2)frequently during use it would issue an "Error" that something didn't work right with Instagram, or Google+ or linkedin...then upon exiting the application, and literally copying and pasting the content back in it would work fine.

3) It's nearly impossible to figure out how to navigate to calendar view, and also to edit posts for individual networks...I mean...really difficult.  Sure..theres a way, but you have to hold your nose a certain way.

4) MOST IMPORTANT - Totally missing out on the RSS feed importer - much of the competition is using this, and it makes life SO MUCH easier.

If any of these 3 were done, my rating would easily move to a 7 - but the competition is pretty thick for this kind of product...it needs a little more than the bare bones to get into competition with the other players.

Try before you buy - it looks slick but it's not quite "there" yet.

social media analytics are good.  I see win's and losses immediately in almost real time.  It's allowing me to narrow down what kind of media is successful on which networks.

Nothing. Everything works good like managing multiple social networks, monitoring keywords, scheduling unlimited posts and team collaboration from a single dashboard.

The user interface is good, easy to understand.

**What do you dislike about Zoho Social?**

With limited options in my opinion. Like you can schedule your Instagram Stories with storrito.com and you can't with Zoho Social and the same situation with other features. Another point I don't like, don't offer a phone number to contact the support department, you only can write in a form. Make no sense for a pay service.

I just testing the solution for now.

what i best like about is its real timing transfer of leads from Facebook to crm. that brings a lot of productivity in to organization

We still are not able to automatically assign leads through round robin pattern to all our sales agents

if you want to reduce your lead time must recommended

It used to take us two days to get leads from Facebook to directly get in to our crm because we use to download excel sheet and that used to take us lot of time. With zoho social we can get leads into crm with in real time

I LOVED the ability to be able to upload an excel spreadsheet with posts to schedule

They changed the plans so the ability to upload for scheduler now costs

What used to be free now costs, so that's a bummer and why I mark it lower. The ability to upload a spreadsheet to schedule posts in the future was what I loved best. Now it cost more!

I used to be able to upload a spreadsheet and schedule various posts to various social media, which made things quick and easy

What i like best about Zoho Social is the ability to post from one platform and to track all within the same platform.

I dislike how instragram has many issues. You can`t post multiple picture through instrgam on zoho social. You can`t add emoji . Also the reports are not very detailed for Instagram.

**What do you like best about Zoho Social?**

I like that it has a great format. I like that its easy to use and does a lot. It is easy to see what's posting and to track everything. Also has a good amount of social media platforms. Auto pulls the images for the links your are posting which is great!!

**What do you dislike about Zoho Social?**

The bulk uploader is a pain in the butt. It is so glitchy. It errors with one mistake. Other bulk uploaders I have used are easier but don't allow photo upload (Hootsuite) or require a lot of fields (buffer) and this one can do literally 3 fields, which is nice. But it gives you the same exact error message no matter what. And it doesn't tell you if you tried to post in the past. It just errors. 

Also- they don't  do daylight savings time so for half the year, it posts an hour late for your time zone in the USA. So you have to switch time zones to post on time. 

**Recommendations to others considering Zoho Social:**

Definately try the product. Its a great product, but does have glitches. I'm told its getting fixed so try it and see if you like it.

We are trying to solve scheduling and saving time on social media. Still working out the kinks.

connecting instagram  to facebook has been a little bit of an issue with the software telling me that I trying to log into the wrong facebook account when there is only 1!

make sure to use the trial dont just sign up and a do nothing!

Zoho is easy to schedule. I like the calendar feature to be able to see the posts visually. 

**What do you dislike about Zoho Social?**

I don't like how the photos come into Zoho - they are always sideways or upside down. I have to re-edit them and re-upload them. It takes extra time I don't have. No social scheduling tool has figured out how to integrate Instagram - they just don't make it easy for developers or businesses. I guess it's their way of keeping Instagram company-free for the most part.

Zoho Social helps us with a platform that schedules social media ahead on our schedule.

Regarding the image upload point in your review, we're truly sorry for the image-orientation problem in Social. Our developers are currently working on this. I'll inform you as soon as we have resolved the issue.

For Instagram scheduling, this is the closest we could get in spite of Instagram API restrictions and by adhering to their Terms of Use.

The feature I like the best is the SmartQ feature which optimizes the timing of your post for maximum engagement.

I wish that the analytics included were a little more comprehensive, for example, top tweets would be a good option. I also wish that it could accomodate larger images into its scheduling feature.

I like the reporting feature the best, as it makes it easy to deliver custom statistics to our clientele. Also, the pricing model for this platform I feel is correctly priced and the ability to add profiles as necessary to the billing plan is awesome.

I am not a massive fan of how it only updates once every night, making it difficult to manage the pages throughout the day.

Looks clean and easy to use, the additional fields (when compared to other platforms) look useful too. Has some power functions, but not sully thought out yet.

Some of the integrations dont seems to work properly, we have had some challenge there.  Waiting for the browser add-on (like Hootsuite) which saves a lot of time.

Watch for developments, This might be a killer-app in time!
