It’s very easy to use, and the meeting summaries save a lot of time by removing the need for someone to write them up manually. They’re also very accurate. Speed, and reliability are very good. It joins meetings easily and requires little technical knowledge for integration. 

The support/onboarding has been good - with emails and prompts to make sure we've set everything up as required.

It occasionally struggles to distinguish between me and one of my colleagues.

I use tl;dv for transcribing meetings at my company, both with clients and internally, which solves documentation issues for meetings. I like the convenience, as I log into tl;dv with my email and it automatically joins all my meetings on Google Meet. The extreme ease of initial setup really impressed me. The AI integrated into tl;dv is useful, greatly aiding in summaries and meeting documentation, even if it's not the most robust in the world. The tool's performance is good, there are no processing issues, and at the end of the meeting, the recording and transcription are already available. The price is consistent with the value of the tool, there are no complaints about that.

The text transcription could be a little better, but I understand that today it is a normal limitation that exists in other tools that aim to do the same.

For a relatively new product, it's extremely intuitive and well developed. I can set it up so it only connects when I need it, I can save my recordings in specific folders, I can share with only particular people, and I can extract patterns across multiple meetings. What's more, as I work in several languages, TLDV gives me summaries in the language of my client, which is priceless.

**What do you dislike about tl;dv?**

It's not easy to talk to the product reps directly and I dislike that. When you develop a product, you could use all the feedback you can get, but the majority of software prroviders seem allergic to client communications and reach out for faster, yet less effective AI-powered coms tools. I'd also apreciate even more flexibility around ordering my folders, sometimes I have multiple individual clients under one corporate account and I could use more autonomy in how I sort this out. I'd also welcome a feature for storing my prompts directly in the tool, not in an external workflow.

It takes away the pressure of writing exhaustive notes while speaking with scholars, applicants, and partners, so the conversation can stay human, empathetic, and focused on strategy rather than admin. The AI summaries reflect how we naturally process calls—context, key advice, decisions, and next steps—which makes it easy to turn discussions into follow‑up emails, application strategies, or internal handover notes. Since our small core team can’t be on every mentoring call, tl;dv saves us significant time by letting us quickly review the key moments instead of joining live or watching full recordings. Occasionally, TLDV doesn’t show up in sessions that were booked within the last 1–5 hours. That’s the full extent of the issue.

tl;dv launches automatically at each of my video calls, and the desktop application also allows me to record the audio of an in-person meeting. The reports are of high quality, and the integrated AI is simply amazing. The performance is excellent and the UX is very simple. The integration was very quick and the teams adopted it immediately, the pricing is quite appropriate.

I love that tl;dv makes it easy to share recordings by providing a link instead of having to download and send files. It's super convenient for sharing with clients and teammates who need to review the recordings. I also find it very easy to invite to a meeting since it's integrated right into the calendar, so I don't have to worry about forgetting to add it. Just pressing a button is all it takes to start recording the call, which is really handy.

Well, though they have transcripts, I still need my own AI agent to make it to my own tone. I also want it to be able to do multi-language transcription. So it doesn't do that right now. It kinda does, but it's not perfect.

**What do you like best about tl;dv?**

I like the easiness of using tl;dv. It's very intuitive to start logging information on a specific call just from the click of a button on my desktop application. The summarization feature is a favorite too, as it provides AI-generated insights that are pretty accurate. It can condense a full-hour meeting into just a few bullet points, helping me clarify or set the scope on bigger projects. I find it valuable for creating follow-ups, understanding dependencies, and building from there. Additionally, the setup was very easy using Google sign-on, and tl;dv integrates smoothly with different voice and web call providers, so I don't need separate specific summarization tools. It's a very nice tool to work with.

I think the commitments for having a free tier, it's a bit biased. Because on one hand, you do upload a lot of information to the platform. And you can look at transcriptions. But you can't really interact more if you don't upgrade. So I think the freemium version here is not perfect, or at least it's really promoting people to upgrade. I would rather have something that would still give me the possibility to interact with the transcription.

I like the fact that tl;dv is pretty much hands off. I can start a meeting and it will immediately ask for permission to join the meeting, which is really convenient. I just let it join, and it’s called my notetaker. It integrates seamlessly with my Google Meet, which makes things easy for me. It's actually pretty easy and very simple to integrate.

I honestly don't necessarily like the fact that it shows up as another person in our meetings. It just the little square thing, I can't explain it when it's in Google Meet. It just kinda gets in the way. I would prefer that that didn't pop up so obvious.

I really like tl;dv for the incredible support it offers. I can easily integrate it with our system and create customized meeting summaries, which greatly facilitates day-to-day operations. As a manager, the optimization of my quality check-up work on calls is also very valuable to me, as I can now create scripts that evaluate the calls and generate valuable insights for clear feedback focused on continuous improvement. Additionally, the possibility of testing handoffs to other sectors using AI in all calls improves quality, optimizes time, and helps in predicting risks and opportunities more accurately. The current integration facilitates the search for specific mentions within call folders, and the generated summaries save a lot of operational time.

Now that we have managed to integrate a tool, we have been reflecting on how integrations can further enhance our optimization. Trying to understand, for example, how we can generate tasks from the end of the call and offer automatic actionables, I see that if tl;dv can contribute to this, it would be even better. Today we generate the call summary and can publish it immediately in our system, quickly. But there are still doubts about how scripts could generate tasks integrated with tools like Trello, Slack, and others, to be a clear output after the meeting ends. Optimizing follow-ups even more. A bit slow and bureaucratic due to our company's policy. But overall, within expectations.

I like how easily tl;dv connects directly to my CRM and automatically records the notes. When I enter my CRM, the notes with the highlights of what happened in the meeting are already there, or even the transcript. I also appreciate that tl;dv makes the notes automatically, without having to invite it to the meeting, it connects to our calendar and sends the summaries to Hootsuite. All of this is complemented by more generous free plans and an initial setup that was very simple.

I really appreciate tl;dv for its AI note tools and the limited recording and storage time, which are really nice features for a free tool. These features help me simplify explanations, especially when I talk to parents. It's an excellent tool for ensuring that I cover all discussion topics thoroughly. The tool is clearly very effective in increasing the number of meetings I can handle daily, doubling from 4 to 6 meetings to about 10 to 12. It also effectively removes the stress of writing repetitive messages, using its AI to do that, freeing me up for more tasks. Additionally, the initial setup was super fast and straightforward, which I liked. Moreover, I've found it immensely valuable for recording meetings in Google Workspace, especially since Google doesn't offer this feature. **What do you like best about tl;dv?**

What I like most is that tl;dv is a GDPR-compliant solution that can be used in Europe without concerns, which is not the case with many US providers. The platform is very intuitive in its setup and can be set to German. I am particularly impressed by the convincing quality of the transcripts, which are created quickly and with few errors. Additionally, the service is very user-friendly and can easily compete with major providers. I also appreciate that the creators of the service are close to the user and that the service is continuously evolving, promising future features that will offer significant added value compared to the competition. No details from conversations are lost anymore, as the service takes care of this for me. The concept is very well-rounded and already mature. Furthermore, I found the personal onboarding very positive, which I have not experienced in the same way with other providers like Fireflies.ai.

There is nothing at the moment that I could criticize.

I use tl;dv to record and transcribe meetings and calls, which helps me analyze conversations, define goals, identify tasks and problems, and integrate insights into our CRM. No details are lost, and the service oversees important points.

**What do you like best about tl;dv?**

I genuinely appreciate how tl;dv operates as my second brain, leveraging it in nearly every call I make. It really helps me keep track of everything, which is crucial since I'm a consultant working with various clients. I like being able to review the results of meetings and utilize AI tools inside tl;dv to summarize and ensure no action items are overlooked. It's incredibly valuable in making sure I can be the best I can for my clients. Additionally, tl;dv's AI does an excellent job of navigating information, preparing like an eager beaver intern, and being flexible and easy to use. I love that it's more adaptable than other products I've used, making it simpler and fitting perfectly with my needs. It was also very easy to set up, taking me an hour or less. I often recommend tl;dv because it's a fantastic tool.

**What do you dislike about tl;dv?**

Sometimes they don't show up right on time to meetings, and sometimes I have to tell them to come. Occasionally, they leave too early. Some improvements in its behaviors around arriving and navigating inside the meetings would be helpful.

I use tl;dv for keeping track of client details across many calls, helping me remember conversations without extra work. It also lets me review meetings and leverage AI to ensure no action items are missed, making me ready for my clients.

I find it very useful that it centralizes the key information from critical meetings and generates automatic minutes with actionable summaries, as this facilitates the management of agreements and tracking in accordance with ITIL v4 practices. I also appreciate that it allows for maintaining the traceability of decisions made in sessions with internal teams, such as SysAdmin, DBAs, Azure, GCP, and AWS, thus avoiding the loss of time in manual transcriptions.

**What do you dislike about tl;dv?**

The accuracy of the transcription may decrease when technical terms are used or there is noise present. Additionally, certain advanced features, such as semantic analysis, are only available in premium plans. On the other hand, the adoption curve can be a challenge, as if teams do not use the tool consistently, its value is reduced.

**What problems is tl;dv solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Reduce the loss of information during complex meetings, as it is not necessary to rely solely on manual notes. Save time by transforming lengthy sessions into clear summaries, which helps me focus on continuous improvement and the most critical clients. Additionally, it facilitates asynchronous collaboration, as technical teams can consult the agreements reached without having to attend all meetings. It also helps improve traceability and ITIL compliance, as the generated minutes serve as evidence for audits and reviews.

I am very satisfied with the result of tl;dv, which we mainly use in Microsoft Teams for various meetings. It saves us time by automatically transcribing conversations and facilitating post-processing. This saves me the time-consuming task of writing long minutes. I appreciate the clear structure of the recordings, which allows me to quickly find and share important content by clicking on the text to locate video sequences. Additionally, the initial setup was very easy, and the support is very good.

Does not understand Swiss German very well.

tl;dv saves us the time-consuming task of writing long minutes. Meetings remain comprehensible, and important content can be quickly found and shared. The clear structure of the recordings makes it easy to navigate and allows clicking in the text to find video sequences.

**What do you like best about tl;dv?**

I have a lot of meetings. As I'm from the commercial team, I have conversations every day with different customers and partners. In this case, tl;dv helps me recording and providing a report of the meeting, so I can remember what we have discussed and main topics.

**What do you dislike about tl;dv?**

All good so far. My free test is over so now. I mean, I have achieved the number of meetings and now I need to acquire a package.  I have to approve the tl;dv with my nickname in the meetings. Sometimes people complain about it, but I explain to them. They are sometimes worried about sharing info with other people the full report. It is not an issue about tl;dv itself.

**What problems is tl;dv solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I want to use the other functions. So far I have used only Transcription (primary purpose). As I have mentioned, I have plenty of commercial meetings showing up our portfolio. It is hard to present, speak, listen and take notes. So the transcription is great. Imagine using the other purposes.

Furthermore, in the free plan, there is limited access to features like recording and notes, which might make the service less appealing for those not ready to upgrade.

I find tl;dv very easy to use, and the transcript as well as a summary are very readily available. The website is very clear and easy to navigate.

This protocol AI, like many others, still does not always understand names perfectly or lacks knowledge of specific technical terms. I believe this could be improved with a connection or active inquiries. Because sometimes project protocols have to be manually adjusted.

I use tl;dv to have all data immediately available after meetings, which helps me create minutes and ensures that I don't miss any important details. It makes follow-up easy and reduces misunderstandings with clients.
