**What do you like best about Sales Cookie?**

SalesCookie has been an incredible solution for our business, making our commission calculations dramatically easier and far more accurate. We work with many different commission structures, and their system was able to apply every type of logic we needed without any issues. It has saved us time, eliminated errors, and given us full confidence in our commission payouts. Also wanted to mention their outstanding customer service. I have been working with Daniel Lopez who has been so helpful through the implementation process. Couldn’t recommend more!

Honestly, there wasn’t anything I disliked about SalesCookie. It took me time to learn everything but once we understood the logic, it worked perfectly.

Our commission structure is extremely complex and would be impossible to calculate manually, but SalesCookie was able to handle every logic we required.

**What do you like best about Sales Cookie?**

What I appreciate most about SalesCookie is how effortlessly it streamlines the management and automation of complex commission plans. The platform is user-friendly and adaptable, which significantly reduces the amount of manual work required. I also value the straightforward dashboards and the real-time insight they provide into payouts. This level of transparency is extremely helpful throughout the entire process.

The staff at SalesCookie have been great to work with. They respond promptly to any inquiries or issues that you might have. If you need to automate your commissions, you cannot go wrong with SalesCookie!

**What do you dislike about Sales Cookie?**

Not so much of a dislike/con as this is a necessity. Setting up the initial commission structures can be involved and requires some back and forth, but fortunately, SalesCookie has an excellent team who can handle the entire setup process for you. There is no 24/7 support but the staff is fairly quick in responding via email.

**What problems is Sales Cookie solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is helping automate commissions and ensure accuracy when we pay out commissions to our sales staff. Before I would need to rely solely on spreadsheets and human error was inevitable. Having this saves me considerable time of having to manually validate each sale.

**What do you like best about Sales Cookie?**

The flexibility of the commission structures, and the stability of the solution. Anything we can come up with as a team can be tracked with SalesCookie.

**What do you dislike about Sales Cookie?**

Although the support team is brilliant and extremely responsive, there are times when you want to be able to reach someone real time vial live chat or phone, and SalesCookie isn't really designed that way. That said, the system is so well done that support is rarely needed, and the only thing I had to do is be sure to plan ahead during the early days so that if anything came up, I always had time to work with the amazing talent at SalesCookie help me through the roadblock.

**What problems is Sales Cookie solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before salescookie we were tracking commissions through a variety of reports and spreadsheets. If there is one thing I've learned over the years, you don't want to mess around with someone's paycheck, and ensuring the accuracy of our commissions has always been a top priority.

On a whole, I don't think there is any software that I have been more impressed with from the first contact to each subsequent conversation with the team. They are phenominal, and I couldn't ask for a better partner in commissions... and if you deal with sales people, you know commissions is one thing you want to get right the first time.

**What do you like best about Sales Cookie?**

The seamless integration with Quickbooks took a comission calculation process which lasted hours and hours, and turned it into a real time continously running tool that requires little to no oversight.  If an issue happens to arise (almost never) the tech support responsiveness is unparalleled.  The platform is customizable, which in our line if work is priceless!

**What do you dislike about Sales Cookie?**

I would love to offer some constructive critism for this software, but I just cant!  Maybe some tutorials for some of the advanced analytical tools offered; custom sales reports, etc etc that we are just getting into?!

**What problems is Sales Cookie solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The process of calculating commission payments to different categories of roles, with different inventory categories carrying different cost weights was initially done by hand here!  With Sales Cookie, we have streamlined this time consuming operation so effectively that we increased commission payout frequency from once  monthly at mid month (previous month) to every paycheck (for the current period!).  This in turn has greatly impacted the morale of the entire Sales Team, and created 100% transparency where there used to be none.

Before Sales Cookie, we were spending a lot of valuable time and resources on offline commission spreadsheets and trying to sync across different spreadsheet versions. Sales Cookie has a native connection with HubSpot so that all our deal data flows into Sales Cookie hourly.  Their user interface is intuitive and we now calculate our commissions within minutes. Sales Cookie converts between currencies to normalize our transactions and reps see their payouts in their local currency.

**What do you dislike about Sales Cookie?**

Our commission logic is complex and dependent on a number of factors but the technical team incorporated all that into the tool seamlessly.

We use multiple tools to kick start our business so we were on the lookout for such a solution that integrates with popular tools on our lists, luckily Sales Cookie did that for us. They easily integrate with top tools such as Salesforce, Hubspot, Zapier, and more.

My business has benefited better with Sales Cookie because our investment in this solution took place on a monthly plan but the value being offered was more. Also, we didn’t have to pay for any setup or implementation fee nor join any long term contract. The process is so simple.

Cons:

1. For brands that don’t have a good source system to capture sales data, this software might not work as efficiently in such cases.

2. It can be difficult to switch from spreadsheets to an efficient sales commission solution at first, but with the training provided that too without any cost, this process becomes simpler.

Automation was key for us as we are a fast growing SaaS Company. Sales Cookie met all our requirements at a very attractive price. With dozens of payees (AEs, SDRs, CSMs, etc.), this solution was a game changer!  It has so much functionality and has helped streamline our processes compared to the Google spreadsheets we had to distribute and edit every month.

Our Sales management team has less direct control over changing the comp plan parameters but having them go through a centralized administrator has inserted more discipline into our processes which will serve us well as we grow.

We love the solution as it meets all our needs at a very competitive price.

I am not a tech savvy person but I’m able to use the software based on their strong on-boarding practices. They did the set-up and configuration for us free of charge and now it takes me little time to manage the solution. Our reps are happy to be able to check their crediting and commission numbers online and our sales management loves the real-time trending analysis.

I had an issue setting up the Quickbooks Enterprise connection but their tech support walked me through it and now it is running like clockwork.

The technical team is very knowledgeable and imported our data and created our plans free of charge.  I like the logical and clean UI for the administrators and reps. The solution controls access based on a need to know basis and they host your data securely on the cloud. They also log all commission adjustments for future review.

We had to clean up our source data but that made total sense when moving from distributed spreadsheets to an automated solution.

Sales Cookie has helped us a lot by centralizing and simplifying our incentive plans and automating our calculations. Before this, we managed everything in Google sheets, which had version control issues and were error prone. Now we have a centralized online solution that supports a variety of complex needs including draws, user-specific metrics, quarterly plans with monthly payouts, etc.

**What do you like best about Sales Cookie?**

Sales Cookie has out-of-the-box functionality covering almost all business needs regarding sales commissions. The user interface is quite intuitive. It is optimized for easy navigation. After some minimal training, administrators can become power users. The application is quite fast. Web dialogs load almost instantly. The application seems to be updated quite frequently to add new capabilities (especially connectors) or to make them features easier to use. The structured nature of entities within Sales Cookie helps admins form a clear mental model of compensation and use its features. In addition, sales reps gain useful visibility into plans and sales commissions. They can navigate commission-related information without training.

**What do you dislike about Sales Cookie?**

You have to configure the application to do what you want to do (not the other way round). This sometimes requires finding the best way to do things as different options are possible (ex: creating territory-based plan vs. crediting managers for territories).

**What problems is Sales Cookie solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Increased payment accuracy. Decreased processing time. More insights into compensation management. More transparency around commissions.

**What do you like best about Sales Cookie?**

I am responsible for calculating sales commissions in my organization. This was taking about 10 hours every week. Even though it's possible to calculate commissions manually AND accurately, the main issue was the constant need for adjustments (ex: a deal did not go through, refund, etc.). As a result, we had to re-issue commissions frequently, and over time it became unmanageable to track everything. 

Using Sales Cookie, we're now able to automate the entire process, but we can still make changes to commissions if needed. There is a very convenient "activity center" in app where we can see all the changes made by anyone to comp plans, commissions, etc. I also like the different roles provided by the application because management of some plans can be delegated so specific managers.

Finally our sales team is happy with their online statement. This is much better than before as we had to repeat sending spreadsheets to every rep.

**What do you dislike about Sales Cookie?**

I wish they had a way to take any Excel spreadsheet and auto-convert to one of the incentive plans. The process required first analyzing and documenting our sales commission process (probably a good think but it took some time as our commissions are quite complicated).

Great solution, good interface, reliable service, saves us a lot of time every week. An Excel auto-convert feature would be a killer addition to a great solution.

**What do you like best about Sales Cookie?**

The solution is easy to use and well organized. It's also quite flexible which was important as our plans are a bit complicated. Running calculations is quite easy as well, you just need to select the plan and period. The best part however is their service. We want to thank Sarah for modeling our plans as they were not easy. She did a good job listening to our requests and making configuration changes. We're very happy with our current setup and calculation accuracy and speed.

I would like to see chat integrated in the application so that there is no need to call or open a ticket.

1. Being able to automate transfers from different systems. It finds the "delta" so no need to re-upload the same thing. 

2. The initial setup is easy. They help you get setup by configuring many things for you. 

3. The Support is very responsive and knowledgeable based on their years of experience. 

4. It brings transparency in regards to the "numbers" of each rep.

5. Once the plans are verified, it just becomes a habit to run calculations and get results. 

6. Looks great on mobile devices.

1. Making adjustments is a bit tricky. You have to know where to go.

2. For some plans, you have to get creative and use some hacks.

3. If you give them bad data or a wrong description of incentives, you will have issues.

Sales Cookie is a good solution if you're in the SMB space and have sales commission issues. We wanted to solve a data transparency issue - we've achieved this. We are a very collaborative company and the solution was perfect for us as we can now see who earns what and why.

**What do you like best about Sales Cookie?**

Sales Cookie has enabled our entire sales team to reduce processing time for commissions. We virtually have no errors now. Our sales team not only loves the increased confidence in their payments, but they also love the interface and the real-time aspect. We greatly really appreciate the fact that they have built logic to detect double-payment of commissions, as well as alerts when a transaction cannot be credited. The different integrations are great. We're getting a friendly solution with all the features of an enterprise sales commission management solution at a great price. Also the web interface is fast - no waiting time. Most calculations are instant!

**What do you dislike about Sales Cookie?**

There is some learning curve to understand all the concepts. The most tricky one is about crediting - you have to match between sales transactions and users. This uses something called "aliases" on users which is unique to Sales Cookie.

Book a meeting - they will walk you through everything!

**What do you like best about Sales Cookie?**

Almost no training required. The application is fast and visually intuitive. It's easy to create plans and run them through calculations. We're no longer using spreadsheets to manage sales commissions. Sales Cookie avoids hidden Excel formulas, accidental data deletion, revisions, lack of visibility, etc. The software is on demand and they add features every month. It's a great time saver and it makes it easier to see sales goals and progression. In my previous company we had spreadsheets with 5 different tabs. The new dashboard is so much better! We also use Microsoft Power BI reports quite a bit.


**What do you dislike about Sales Cookie?**

There are 2 things you need to know. One of them is that you will likely need to filter sales transactions to paid. This is called a query in their "language" which then needs to be applied to incentive plans. The other is that they offer a free service for doing the plan creation for you. It makes more sense to have them do it and then explain it to you than trying to do it yourself.

We got rid of spreadsheets and have better historical tracking of commissions. Good customer experience as well. Don was my contact at Sales Cookie and he was patient and did a great job explaining plan creation and testing calculations for us.

**What do you like best about Sales Cookie?**

Before Sales Cookie, I used to receive a spreadsheet with all my commissions just before the end of the month. So I had no information on how I was doing commission-wise all this time. I also had to check everything was correct which took quite a bit of time (and request help from Finance to make corrections). With Sales Cookie, I can check where I'm at in regards to commissions any time. I am also able to send requests for corrections using the app. It's a easier to understand where my commissions came from because I can export the data, etc. Finally, I use my cell to view commissions and the app works well for this use case.

**What do you dislike about Sales Cookie?**

An internet or 4G connection is 100% necessary to review commissions from a cellphone. There is no offline app mode which would help when there is a lack of connectivity. It would be great if you could add this feature. Also I would really like to be able to add "widgets" to my dashboard such as reminders, notes, etc.

Sales Cookie is a great choice if you can't track your progress towards earning commissions or you need to remain motivated by looking at goals.

I rely on Sales Cookie to tell me how I'm doing and budget accordingly based on my expected sales commission. The support team is also a pleasure to work with - fast response times when I submitted a request!

Commissions can be a real nightmare. Sales Cookie makes it possible to manage them and make sure sales reps gets paid correct commissions. We like the interface, the flexibility (ex: using aliases to credit opportunities is very convenience), the "system alerts", and the user dashboards.

**What do you dislike about Sales Cookie?**

There is no support for retroactive clawbacks. They explained issues associated with those, but this would be a nice addition to the suite.

Having a clear idea of which plans are applied to which reps / managers / VPs. Being able to calculate commissions more easily. Having historical data.

Our sales commissions were fairly disorganized. We had draws which we handled manually. We also had different versions of Excel spreadsheets so it was hard to keep track of things.

We were able to use Sales Cookie to get rid of the complexity and manual handling. The application is very user-friendly and we were very satisfied.

I haven't found any significant downside except for the fact that when you create a new "workspace", you start all over again and re-enter your plans.

The solution is very versatile. We were able to connect our CRM systems with just a few clicks. The team was great to work with - fast responses via email and always ready to jump on a call. Our comp plan is a bit complicated but they were able to model it. More importantly, we've left the stone age of sales commissions as we were using spreadsheets. Now we have a powerful tool with a lot of capabilities and great dashboards.

You still have to go through them to create a comp plan. There is a wizard, but realistically you need help configuring plans as it's not exactly DYI material.

As a health-related startup, we don't have a lot of time to spend to manage sales commissions. We reached out to Sales Cookie because they are local and they were able to automate our sales commissions in a day. We described how we wanted our team to be compensated and with their guidance, we were able to create a model for us. We can easily change the model as time goes. The interface is very intuitive.

All the conversations we had were screen share / conference calls - an in-person meeting could have been easier since we are local.

As a sales manager, I'm on the receiving end of any complaint about commissions such as incorrect amounts, incorrect crediting, etc. Sales Cookie has made my life a lot easier by simplifying the way my team is paid commissions. 

The interface is easy to use and you can easily export statements to Excel for detailed review. I also like how the interface is laid out as it's quite logical and performance is great.

**What do you dislike about Sales Cookie?**

There should be a way to customize dashboards using company logos and color theme. You can add "announcements" but they fall a bit short in terms of customizing dashboards.

**Recommendations to others considering Sales Cookie:**

When importing fields, make sure the mapping is correct. We had to re-do this a few times.

Our sales team is finally getting paid the right sales commissions without any "delay". The ability to see commissions online from a smartphone is great. I'm able to download a list of transactions and can easily check that I am paid the right amount. The reports are also great and I use them frequently. I can also see where I'm at in regards to the pipeline.

I need to login to see my sales rep commission dashboard. With a native phone app, this would not be needed.

It used to take us 2 weeks to calculate commissions, generate spreadsheets, fix mistakes, explain calculations, etc. Now we can execute all compensation in a matter of hours.

For advanced or custom reports, you have to step out and use Power PI. It would be nice if this could be embedded in the app.
