What do you like best about Ruddr Professional Services Automation?

The best thing about Ruddr is that the resource allocation section is super user friendly and easy to use. It is really easy to drag and drop and easy to get people to learn how to use it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ruddr Professional Services Automation?

The thing I most dislike is that I feel some basic functionality is missing which can make more work than needed. For example, there is no bulk deletion of tasks - a simple checkbox would be great (Similar to what they have on the time entry one).

What do you like best about Ruddr Professional Services Automation?

What I really like about Ruddr’s attendance management system is how easy it makes everything. It’s super user-friendly, and you can track attendance, hours, and time off without any hassle. I love that it’s automated, so there’s no need to worry about manual updates or errors. Plus, it connects perfectly with project tracking and billing, which keeps everything in sync. What do you dislike about Ruddr Professional Services Automation?

I think Ruddr’s automation system is great overall, but there are a few things that could be better. Some of the advanced features take a bit of time to figure out, and a few parts of the interface could be more intuitive. I’d also love to see more flexibility with reports and integrations. Sometimes, small bugs or slowdowns pop up after updates, but they’re usually fixed fast. It’s a solid tool that just has room to grow in a few areas. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Ruddr Professional Services Automation?

User friendly interface, reporting capability is amazing, value for money, great customer service and support (especially with onboarding of employees).

We loved that the system included capability addressing pipeline management, project management, resource planning and so much more.

As a consulting company, Ruddr fits our business model like a glove and it is clear that Ruddr really understands our type of business and has created software that solves for our unique problems and challenges.

- leave management

What do you like best about Ruddr Professional Services Automation?

It gives us everything we need to track time and invoice our customers. It's easy to train new people for our growing company. We get cool new features as the toolset grows. Support is very responsive, helpful, and friendly. So excited about the latest Expense report features on mobile app!

What do you dislike about Ruddr Professional Services Automation?

The reporting is still developing although you can download all of the information that you need and work with it in excel. The filters are great to help narrow down what you need and there are customer definable tags to help slice and dice but would love to have a few more features to make it really robust. The reporting continues to get better with each release (saved reports, scheduled reports, yay!) but the one thing that is frustrating is that the columns continually change as more fields are added (new fields are a good thing) and this makes repeatable automated editing impossible. What do you like best about Ruddr Professional Services Automation?

After conducting a comprehensive review of Professional Services Automation software, I found Ruddr to strike the perfect balance between capability and affordability. Ruddr offers nearly all of the advanced features provided by higher-priced “enterprise” products—and in some cases, it delivers even more. The platform is intuitive and easy to use, with excellent shortcut options for consultants entering timesheets across multiple projects or in repetitive time-entry scenarios. It also provides strong support for a variety of project engagement models and billing methods. Our team of 50+ consultants uses Ruddr almost daily, with all activity—across both client projects and internal work—captured seamlessly.

Implementation was straightforward. Historical data was migrated without the need for paid consulting services, and integration with our accounting system was simple to configure. The system has fully met our invoicing requirements, including credit note integration.

Support has been consistently friendly, responsive, and a pleasure to work with. Importantly, the Ruddr team has welcomed our product improvement suggestions, and we’ve already seen several of these incorporated into the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ruddr Professional Services Automation?

There is not a lot to dislike, there are however a few features that I think could be included in future releases:

- The ability to create custom fields on key objects (e.g. Members and Projects)

- Report customisation

- Allow for more complex filtering criteria with saved filters

What do you like best about Ruddr Professional Services Automation?

We've been using Ruddr for over a year now, and it has become an indispensable part of our consulting practice. From project tracking and reporting to time entry and invoicing, the platform has helped us streamline operations, improve visibility, and save countless hours of manual effort.

The interface is intuitive, the features and documentation are very robust (which made it easy to customize the platform for our business), the integrations have reduced duplicate data entry across information systems, and everything feels purpose-built for a consulting business like ours. What really sets Ruddr apart, though, is their exceptional customer service. Their support and engineering teams are responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely committed to helping us succeed. Every question or request has been met with a fast, thoughtful response—often going above and beyond our expectations. We have especially appreciated Ruddr's willingness to accept feature requests AND deliver on them. One time they turned around a request in less than 12 hours!

What do you like best about Ruddr Professional Services Automation?

It's very user friendly and logically set up which reduced training for users a lot. Ruddr's implementation team did a great job explaining all features and integrations and made the implementation very efficient and easy (four weeks from kick off to go live).

Since our go live four months ago, important additional integrations were added (Rippling and HubSpot) and the support team was always available to support the implementation of the integrations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ruddr Professional Services Automation?

There is nothing to really dislike, but some room for improvement:

Dashboards are set and not (yet) customizable

Report filters should allow to exclude data

Ruddr is extremely cost effective and provides a robust offering of features for invoicing, expensing, project management, and allocations. For a small business, it's critical to have cost effective tools as we grow, and Ruddr has been a game changer for us. Customer service is top notch, and the CEO himself is passionate about providing a great service and is wonderful to work with. Some of the features have limitations that make them unhelpful - e.g. an automatic report can be set up to run at specified intervals, but you can't pick the time range that you want the report to have.
