I also love that I can view all prior conversations, ensuring we don't waste time asking for the same documentation. The initial setup was very easy. **What do you dislike about Paylocity?** One minor issue can be the delay sometimes when using with SuccessFactors. I understand this to be an interface issue with our system not necessarily a Grayscale issue. There was one issue where the templates functionality changed where I was unable to edit. But this was soon rectified, and I am now able to edit and apply using a burger menu. **What problems is Paylocity solving and how is that benefiting you?** I use Grayscale for recruitment, simplifying communication with candidates via direct mobile messages. It saves time by notifying me instantly when candidates respond, ensuring they know their application's progress. We don't get informed on new releases of features as they happen, and when they do happen, we just get surprised and flatfooted or it's somehow another added cost for a feature of the system that should just be the standard. It's just a necessary system for employee management throughout the life cycle. I'm new to the software within the last few weeks and have been able to jump in quickly. I'm in the software all day every day, and I couldn't do it without the knowledge base and client support team. Our account manager is incredibly helpful, as is the entire client support team. I've been given quick, kind, and detailed support every time I've reached out. **What do you dislike about Paylocity?** As with most software, there are always going to be little things that are less than ideal. The only thing I've discovered so far is less efficient search menus that are dependent on clicking through pages rather than doing a straight employee search. **What problems is Paylocity solving and how is that benefiting you?** Paylocity allows us to maintain really clean employee data and run payroll. With all but interns being salaried employees, it is easy to submit the semi-monthly payroll. Employees having access to their paystubs electronically is definitely a nice feature. PTO requests are nicely handled once set up. **What do you dislike about Paylocity?** PTO for the new year should be viewable on January 1st, but it’s not available until after the first payroll is run. When talking to an account manager, the PTO process is getting a 'fix" for the PTO availability Jan 1. The transition team did not follow through on the PTO setup as expected, making the initial setup fairly easy but still painful. At year end of 2025 customer service wait time was an hour. **What problems is Paylocity solving and how is that benefiting you?** Paylocity handles payroll, payroll taxes, and internally manages PTO.
