"All-in-One Collaboration Hub with Seamless Outlook and OneDrive Integration"
5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Teams?

What I like best about Microsoft Teams is that chat, video meetings, file sharing, and collaboration all live in one place. Scheduling and joining meetings is quick, and it integrates smoothly with Outlook, OneDrive, and Word, so I can share and edit documents without leaving the app. Channels keep conversations organised by topic or project, which makes it easy to find past messages and files. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Teams?

My main dislike is that Teams can feel heavy and slow, especially on older laptops or weaker internet connections. It takes a while to start up and can use a lot of memory when meetings and screen sharing are running. The notification settings are also a bit overwhelming, with activity feeds, channel alerts, and chat pings all competing for attention, so it's easy to miss something important or get distracted. Searching for older files and messages across many channels can also be hit and miss. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"All-in-One Communication Hub with Great Microsoft 365 Integration"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Teams?

What I like best about Microsoft Teams is that it brings most of our day-to-day communication and collaboration into one place. I can use it for chat, meetings, file sharing, and team discussions without having to switch between multiple applications. The integration with other Microsoft 365 tools is also very useful, especially when working with documents and collaborating with teammates. I also like the option I can format the message in the code style by using the code tag. I just have to copy the code and paste it; the code tag will automatically detect the code language and format it accordingly, which helps me a lot. Additionally, the AI auto-correct of my sentences in the chat and captions generation in the meetings helps me better while talking with clients. Overall, it makes it easier to stay connected with the team and keep track of ongoing work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Teams?

One thing I dislike about Microsoft Teams is that closing the application doesn't always mean it has completely stopped running. The Teams window closes normally, but it can continue running in the background. When I'm done with work and don't need Teams anymore, I sometimes have to manually check the background processes via task manager and close it completely. This can also have an impact on laptop performance, especially when I already have other applications running. It would be better if Teams handled this more efficiently when the application is closed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Seamless Microsoft 365 Integration That Saves Us Hours Each Week"
5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Teams?

What I like best is how seamlessly Microsoft Teams integrates with the entire Microsoft 365 ecosystem. Instead of switching apps, our team can co-edit Word documents and Excel sheets directly inside our department channels, which saves us hours of context-switching every week. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Teams?

Microsoft Teams can be heavy on system resources, sometimes causing noticeable performance lag or high memory usage during large video meetings. Additionally, file organization within chat threads can occasionally feel cluttered, making it difficult to find older documents quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Microsoft Teams Keeps Meetings, Chats, and File Sharing Organized in One Place"
5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Teams?

I like Microsoft Teams because it brings meetings, chats, file sharing, and collaboration together in one place. At work, it helps me coordinate with team members quickly, share documents throughout projects, keep track of follow-ups after meetings, and spend less time switching between different tools. Overall, it makes day-to-day collaboration feel more organized and efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Teams?

Teams can sometimes feel sluggish when it’s handling large meetings or when I’m juggling multiple chats at once. Notifications can also get overwhelming, and it becomes easy to miss important messages among less urgent updates. Overall, the interface could be more streamlined, especially when it comes to managing conversations, tracking follow-ups, and staying on top of what needs attention. "All-in-One Collaboration with Helpful Captions and Copilot Summaries"
4/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Teams?

What I like most about Microsoft Teams is how it keeps everything in one place. I can chat with teammates, join meetings, share files, and collaborate without constantly switching between different apps. The live captions during calls are especially helpful because they make it easier to follow discussions and avoid missing important details. I also really like the Copilot integration, which helps summarize meetings, capture key action items, and save time on follow-ups. Overall, Teams makes communication and collaboration much smoother, especially when working with distributed teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Teams?

I’ve found that meeting chats can sometimes be difficult to locate and require searching for them again. Improving chat management would enhance the overall user experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Seamless Microsoft 365 Integration That Supercharges Team Collaboration"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Teams?

What I like best about Microsoft Teams is its seamless integration with the broader Microsoft 365 ecosystem. Having SharePoint, OneDrive, Outlook calendar, and direct document collaboration inside a single interface makes project coordination extremely smooth. The channel-based team structure keeps conversations organized, and the ability to co-author Word or Excel files in real time during a call significantly improves productivity for distributed teams. Additionally, audio/video meeting quality and screen sharing remain consistently reliable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Teams?

While Microsoft Teams is feature-rich, it can be quite resource-heavy on system memory (RAM), which sometimes leads to sluggish performance or occasional lag during high-load multitasking on standard machines. The desktop notification management can feel overwhelming across multiple busy channels, and the search functionality occasionally makes retrieving older shared attachments or specific message threads slower than expected. Switching between multiple organization accounts (guest tenants) could also be smoother. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great for Productivity, Needs Work on Performance."
4.5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Teams?

Microsoft Teams has streamlined our daily operations by combining chat, video, and file collaboration into one spot, cutting out constant app-switching.

What I Like Best:

Real-time Co-authoring: Working on Word or Excel files directly inside a channel or meeting without opening separate apps saves our team 3–4 hours a week on version control.

Threaded Channels: Keeps project discussions organized by topic so context isn't lost in long email threads.

Seamless Escalation: Moving from a chat thread to a video call with screen sharing takes one click, keeping momentum high when solving urgent issues.

Copilot AI: Automated meeting recaps and action-item extraction eliminate post-meeting admin work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Teams?

While Microsoft Teams works well as an all-in-one hub, there are several distinct pain points that drag down the experience:

Heavy Resource Drain & Lag: The desktop app can be a massive memory hog. It frequently slows down older machines, takes forever to launch, and causes occasional audio/video stutters during screensharing.

Notification & Message Overload: Finding specific details can be a nightmare. Between direct chats, group messages, and nested channel threads, critical updates easily get buried under a wall of noise.

Cluttered File Management: Storing files inside Teams channels automatically creates a messy backend in SharePoint. Searching for a specific document you saw a week ago often feels like a guessing game.

Glitchy Guest Access: Collaborating with contractors or external partners outside your organization is notoriously clunky switching between different tenant accounts often requires logging out or using an incognito browser window. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

For marketing work, it’s especially useful for coordinating with different teams, sharing campaign updates and creatives, discussing requirements, and keeping project-related conversations organized. The integration with Microsoft 365 tools also makes it easy to access and share files without constantly switching between platforms. Overall, it helps reduce communication gaps and keeps team workflows more structured. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Teams?

The main thing I dislike is that Teams can feel a little heavy when there are multiple chats, channels, meetings, and notifications happening at the same time. It can sometimes be difficult to find an older conversation or file quickly, especially when working across several projects. The interface also takes some time to get used to, and occasional performance issues during meetings can be frustrating. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
