"Excels in the Payment Space"
What do you like best about Kyriba?

Excellent Payment Factory Platform: Kyriba offers a robust payment factory capability, enabling seamless end-to-end payment processing from ERP systems through Kyriba to the bank. This integration significantly reduces the IT burden associated with maintaining multiple payment formats and banking connectivity, streamlining treasury operations and reducing operational risk.

Effortless Global Cash Management: Managing a global banking footprint is made effortless with Kyriba’s cash management solution. The platform provides a centralized and transparent view of cash positions across multiple banks and currencies, enhancing decision-making and optimizing working capital management at an enterprise scale.

Forward-Looking Product Roadmap: The Kyriba product team consistently keeps the platform aligned with the latest trends and innovations in treasury operations and technology. This forward-thinking approach ensures that the system evolves to meet emerging needs, helping organizations stay ahead in managing liquidity, risk, and payments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kyriba?

Customer Support Experience: The support service can sometimes feel clunky, often providing incomplete responses that lead to repeated back-and-forth communications before reaching a satisfactory solution. This can slow down issue resolution and affect user experience.

Complex Bank Account Management Module: The bank account management functionality is overly complicated. Tasks such as managing bank account signers and handling bank fees become unnecessarily challenging due to the module’s complexity, which can hinder efficiency in day-to-day operations.

Limited Module Integration: Not all Kyriba modules seamlessly communicate with each other, creating difficulties when trying to aggregate data across the platform. This lack of full integration sometimes makes comprehensive reporting and data analysis more cumbersome than expected. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Tom Callway of Kyriba

Thanks so much for taking the time to share such a thoughtful review. We’re glad Kyriba’s Payment Factory and global cash visibility are helping you streamline connectivity, reduce operational risk, and support a single source of truth for treasury across your organization - and we appreciate your note on our forward-looking roadmap.

We also hear your feedback on support responsiveness, the complexity of Bank Account Management (including signers and fees), and areas where module-to-module integration can be stronger. We’re actively investing in these areas, and feedback like yours helps us prioritize the improvements that matter most. Thank you again for your partnership and for helping us continue to make Kyriba better.

"A Robust Treasury Platform with Strong Liquidity and Payment Capabilities"
What do you like best about Kyriba?

What I like best about Kyriba is the overall stability of the platform.

It is a robust and reliable solution that supports critical treasury operations on a daily basis.

I also appreciate the frequent updates, which continuously improve the platform and introduce new capabilities without disrupting existing processes.

The rich set of native functionalities is another strong advantage, as it reduces the need for custom developments and simplifies operations.

Finally, Kyriba’s extensive bank connectivity makes it easier to integrate with multiple financial institutions, streamline payments, and centralize cash and liquidity management. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kyriba?

One aspect I dislike about Kyriba is the complexity of its licensing model.

Understanding and managing licenses across modules, users, and volumes can be challenging and requires careful governance.

Another limitation is that some notifications are only delivered by email, which restricts real-time visibility and limits integration with other monitoring or collaboration tools.

Finally, the Open API has certain limitations, such as rate limits (number of calls per 30 seconds) and daily call quotas. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Tom Callway of Kyriba

Thanks so much for the thoughtful review and for trusting Kyriba to run your critical treasury operations. We’re really glad to hear the platform’s stability, frequent updates, native functionality, and broad bank connectivity are delivering value for your cash, liquidity, and payments processes.

We also appreciate you calling out the areas where we can make things easier. Licensing complexity is a fair point - governance across modules, users, and volumes shouldn’t feel harder than it needs to. If you’re open to it, we’d welcome the chance to connect with you to review your current setup and help simplify how licenses are understood and managed.

On notifications, we hear you on the need for more real-time visibility and better integration beyond email. And on the Open API limits, thank you for the specific feedback - those constraints can impact monitoring and integration patterns, and your perspective helps inform our roadmap.

If you’re willing, please reach out (or connect with your Kyriba contact) so we can better understand your use cases and share options and best practices that may help in the near term.

"Timesaver for Property Management"
What do you like best about Kyriba?

Kyriba is quite user-friendly, especially for handling daily tasks and reviewing my team's work. By integrating Kyriba with our primary banks, we have streamlined the wiring process, which has greatly reduced the amount of time the team spends on wires each day. Previously, this used to take up more than half of their day, but now, for non-integrated banks, it only takes about two hours. My team uses Kyriba daily for reporting and to ensure the accuracy of activity across the 400+ bank accounts we manage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kyriba?

One aspect I think could be improved is the clarity of payment statuses. When a payment is processed, the term "Terminated" is used, which generally has a negative connotation. For those who are not involved with the system on a daily basis, seeing a payment marked as "Terminated" can be alarming and may cause unnecessary concern. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Tom Callway of Kyriba

Thank you for your thoughtful review and for sharing such a practical example of the time savings your team has achieved. We’re glad Kyriba’s bank integrations have streamlined your wiring process, and that you’re able to use the platform daily to review activity and reporting across 400+ bank accounts with confidence.

We also appreciate the feedback on payment status wording. You’re right that “Terminated” can read negatively to occasional users, even when the payment flow is complete. We’ll share this with our product team, and in the meantime your Kyriba support/CS team can help review status definitions and user guidance so stakeholders see clear, less alarming context.

"Excellent Support and Flexible ERP Integration with Strong Controls"
What do you like best about Kyriba?

Kyriba has excellent, responsive customer support. It can be integrated into an ERP in multiple ways and through different mechanisms, including encrypted file-based transfers. Defining file formats and mappings in Kyriba for integration is relatively straightforward. It also offers strong controls to ensure that configuration and admin-related changes are approved by someone other than the person making the changes, which helps safeguard the organization’s financial assets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kyriba?

The UI and navigation aren’t very intuitive, and it takes first-time users some time to get accustomed to how everything is laid out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Tom Callway of Kyriba

Hi Rahul - thank you for taking the time to post your review on G2 and for calling out Kyriba’s responsive support, flexible ERP integration options (including secure/encrypted file-based transfers), and the strong approval controls around configuration and admin changes. We really appreciate you highlighting those strengths.

We also appreciate the candid note on UI and navigation. That’s a common “first-time user” friction point, and there are a couple of practical ways we can help shorten the learning curve:

Kyriba offers free Kyriba Elevate training, which includes role-based enablement that can be especially helpful for getting comfortable with UI layout, navigation patterns, and best-practice workflows. If you’d like, we can point you to the right Elevate learning path for your role so you can get value quickly without having to “learn by trial and error.”

In addition, if you haven’t already explored it, TAI (our agentic AI) can also help improve day-to-day usability by reducing the amount of clicking around and searching needed to get to the right actions and insights. TAI is designed to make the experience more efficient - helping users get answers faster, surface relevant information, and streamline common tasks so the platform feels easier to navigate in practice.

If you’re open to it, reply here (or to your Kyriba contact) with your primary module(s) and typical workflows, and we can recommend (1) the most relevant free Elevate courses, and (2) a few TAI use cases that map directly to what you do most often.

Thanks so much for sharing this review - and for the thoughtful, balanced feedback.

"Centralizes Cash Management but Lacks Forecasting Prowess"
What do you like best about Kyriba?

I like Kyriba for its ease of use and user-friendly interface. It's great that it centralizes data for us, acting as a data centralization tool. Kyriba serves as a source of truth, where I can easily see where my cash position is, make decisions on borrowing, and see balances in different currencies. It's really helpful for our financial risk management using derivatives. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kyriba?

Cash flow forecasting is definitely not Kyriba's forte, especially versus other tools like HighRadius or TIS that are more working capital focused. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Tom Callway of Kyriba

Thank you for the thoughtful review, and we’re glad Kyriba is delivering value for you as a centralized “source of truth” for cash positioning, multi-currency visibility, borrowing decisions, bank account administration, and financial risk management.

On cash flow forecasting, we appreciate the candid feedback. Forecasting outcomes can vary significantly based on the inputs and process a team is using (e.g., ERP/AR/AP feeds, forecast methodology, and how actuals vs. forecast are reconciled). Kyriba supports integrated forecasting workflows, and we’ve also continued to invest in AI-assisted forecasting capabilities designed to improve short‑term inflow predictability and provide transparency into forecast quality and assumptions.

We’d welcome the chance to learn more about your forecasting use case and what you’re comparing against (time horizon, level of detail, data sources, and variance-analysis needs). If you’re open to it, please reach out via your Kyriba contacts - our team can review your current setup and share options and best practices to help you get stronger forecasting results from the platform.

"Excellent Cash Forecasting, But Help Notes Could Be Improved"
What do you like best about Kyriba?

The cash forecasting module. It makes forecasting for various companies and bank accounts much more manageable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kyriba?

It is not possible to change the calendar's start day from Monday to Sunday. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Tom Callway of Kyriba

Thank you for your review - we’re glad the cash forecasting module is making it easier to manage forecasting across your companies and bank accounts.

We also appreciate the specific UX feedback on the calendar start day. We understand how important it is for the calendar view to match your team’s conventions, and we’ll share this request with our product team. In the meantime, your Kyriba support/CS contact can confirm any available configuration options or workarounds based on your current setup.

"Kyriba Brings Accounts, Payments & Forecasts Together in One Platform"
What do you like best about Kyriba?

What I find most helpful about Kyriba is its ability to consolidate information in a single platform, bringing everything together - from accounts and companies to payments and forecasts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kyriba?

The thing I dislike most about Kyriba is how difficult it can be to understand how the different modules interact with one another, which can be especially challenging for new users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Tom Callway of Kyriba

Thanks for taking the time to share this review - and for highlighting the value Kyriba brings by consolidating accounts, payments, and forecasting into a single platform with real-time visibility across balances and payment activity.

We also hear you on the challenge of understanding how the different modules interact, especially for new users. Kyriba is broad by design, and the cross-module connections can feel complex early on. We’re continually working to make that experience clearer through improved onboarding, guided configuration, and more intuitive navigation and in-product context so users can more quickly understand “what connects to what” and why.

If you’re open to it, we’d welcome the chance to learn which modules you’re using and where the interactions have been most confusing. With that detail, your Kyriba team can suggest a streamlined setup approach, targeted training, or recommended best-practice workflows to shorten the learning curve for new users.

Thank you again for the balanced feedback - it helps us improve, and we’re glad Kyriba is delivering strong visibility and a centralized source of truth for your treasury operations.

"Powerful Treasury Automation, But Lengthy Setup and Steep Learning Curve"
What do you like best about Kyriba?

What I appreciate most about Kyriba is its ability to centralize and automate treasury processes that were previously manual and time-consuming. The platform has significantly reduced the time it takes to complete daily cash positioning, giving us faster access to prior-day and current-day cash visibility without the spreadsheet workarounds we relied on before. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kyriba?

One of the biggest frustrations with Kyriba is the length of the implementation. We are approaching two years and are still not fully live on all modules, which is much longer than what was originally expected. The amount of internal time, testing, and follow-up required has been significantly higher than planned.

Another challenge is that the system is not as user-friendly as we would prefer. Even routine tasks and configuration updates require multiple steps, navigation between screens, or deeper system knowledge than expected. While the platform is powerful, it is not always intuitive, which creates added effort for the team instead of freeing up time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Tom Callway of Kyriba

Thank you for sharing this feedback - both the positives and the challenges. We’re glad Kyriba is helping you centralize and automate treasury work and reduce the time spent on daily cash positioning, especially by replacing spreadsheet-heavy processes with faster prior-day and intraday visibility.

We’re sorry to hear the implementation has taken longer than expected and required more internal effort for testing and follow-up. That’s understandably frustrating, particularly when you’re trying to unlock value across multiple modules. We’d welcome the opportunity to review what’s driving the extended timeline (scope changes, integrations, resource availability, dependencies, or sequencing) and align on a clear plan to complete the remaining rollout.

On usability, we appreciate the candid input. Kyriba is designed to support complex treasury requirements, but routine tasks shouldn’t feel overly complicated. If you’re open to it, your Customer Success and Support teams can help streamline common workflows, recommend role-based navigation and best practices, and identify configuration improvements to reduce clicks and handoffs - so the platform frees up time the way it’s intended to.

"Highly Customizable Solution for Managing Large-Scale Banking Data"
What do you like best about Kyriba?

It's great resource for any large company that has a large volume of bank accounts, numerous financial institutions, and processes in-house banking. The system is very customizable to handle process and condense large amounts of bank data and transactions in a one-stop place. It's got a ton of functionality and it can do a lot if you know how to set it up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kyriba?

The system is not easily navigated, and requires deep understanding in order to effectively set things up, maintain and troubleshoot problems if something comes up, or your team is needing to make changes. They have many support page resources, but is very challenging to follow because of the customized nature of setting things up client-to-client, and onboarding and training takes a lot of time. Customer service can be slow most of the time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Tom Callway of Kyriba

Thank you for the review and for highlighting where Kyriba delivers the most value for large, complex organizations. We’re glad the platform is helping you consolidate high volumes of bank account data and transactions across multiple financial institutions, support in-house banking, and tailor processes through configuration and customization.

We also hear your concerns about navigation, the depth of expertise required to maintain and troubleshoot configurations, and the time investment for onboarding and training - especially given that each customer’s setup can be unique. That feedback is important. We’d welcome the chance to understand where your team is getting stuck most often so we can point you to the most relevant guidance, recommend role-based training, and help simplify day-to-day administration where possible.

On support responsiveness, we’re sorry your experience hasn’t been as timely as it should be. If you can share details with your Kyriba Customer Success or Support contact (ticket examples, urgency, and impacted modules), we’ll work with you to improve turnaround and ensure you’re getting the help you need to operate the platform confidently.

"Powerful reporting"
What do you like best about Kyriba?

We like the capability to create custom reports using data from the Payment Module to support the preparation of our board report. Payment approvers particularly appreciate the convenience of using the mobile app to review and approve payments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kyriba?

We have a few noted System idiosyncrasies:

1. Bank Account Module (BAM): When a new account is added Core Data - Accounts, the Bank Account module does not automatically populate.

2. Payment Module - Attachment Issue: If a user clicks the back arrow instead of the Menu → Close button while adding an attachment to a payment, the payment is lost and must be re-entered.

3 Payment module - Approval Workflow: A payment must be approved from outside the payment record; otherwise, the transaction is not automatically remitted to the bank, causing processing delays.

4. Payment Module – Status Label: After executing a payment, the system displays the next action as “Terminated,” which can be confusing.

5. Mobile App: Users would like enhanced tools and improved accessibility within the mobile application. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Tom Callway of Kyriba

Thank you for updating your review, and for the detailed, practical feedback. We’re especially pleased Kyriba is helping you build custom Payment Module reporting for your board pack, and that your approvers are getting real value from mobile approvals.

We also appreciate you calling out the specific “idiosyncrasies” you’ve encountered - this level of detail is exactly what helps us improve. A couple of the items you noted are tied to how we enforce controls and workflow consistency (for example, approvals are designed to be managed through the approvals workspace to ensure the right authorization path and downstream processing), but we agree the experience should be clearer and more forgiving day to day.

On the remaining points - BAM population behavior, the attachment/back-navigation scenario, and the “Terminated” label - we understand why these can feel unintuitive. We’ll share these with the appropriate teams, and we’d welcome the chance to review your specific setup so we can (1) confirm whether configuration changes can reduce manual steps, (2) help your users avoid the attachment workflow pitfall, and (3) provide clearer guidance on payment statuses to prevent confusion for occasional users.

Finally, on Kyriba Mobile: thank you for the request. If you can share which tools or accessibility improvements would make the biggest difference for your approvers, we can route that feedback more precisely and align it with ongoing enhancements.
