"Integrated Risk Data and Analytics That Turn Complexity Into Actionable Insights"
4.5/5
What do you like best about SAS Risk Management?

SAS Risk Management is its ability to bring together risk data, analytics, and reporting into a single integrated platform, giving organisations a clear and consistent view of their risk exposure. It helps transform complex risk calculations into actionable insights, enabling faster and more informed decision-making. In my experience, one of the biggest benefits is the platform's ability to automate risk assessment and reporting processes, which improves efficiency, reduces manual effort, and increases confidence in regulatory compliance while providing a more comprehensive understanding of potential business risks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAS Risk Management?

One area of SAS Risk Management that can be challenging is its depth and breadth of functionality, which can result in a steeper learning curve for new users. However, this complexity comes from the platform's powerful capabilities and flexibility, allowing organisations to manage sophisticated risk analytics and regulatory requirements effectively. As users gain experience, they are able to take greater advantage of its comprehensive features and advanced risk-management capabilities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Helpful in Critical Moments, Challenging with Large Data"
5/5
What do you like best about SAS Risk Management?

I like that SAS Risk Management helps me resolve bugs and other issues, especially when I’m in a critical situation. I use SAS programming to develop my code and create and manage medical data. The setup took me three hours, but once it was done, SAS Risk Management was very helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAS Risk Management?

I have some issues when I get a lot of medical data at once, especially with elaborating and creating it. Setting up SAS Risk Management felt critical and took me three hours. I also wish access were more open so everyone could help resolve issues and find bugs faster. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simplifying Risk Monitoring and Analysis"
4.5/5
What do you like best about SAS Risk Management?

What I like most is that SAS Risk Management gives a clear, centralized view of risk and makes it easier to identify potential issues early. It helps with monitoring, analysis, reporting, and making more informed decisions without relying heavily on manual processes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAS Risk Management?

One thing I dislike is that SAS Risk Management can feel a bit complex at first, especially for new users. Some features and workflows take time to understand, and the interface could be more intuitive with clearer guidance and simpler navigation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Integrated Risk Management with Seamless Efficiency"
5/5
What do you like best about SAS Risk Management?

I like that I can do all the activities, like building risk models and managing different databases, in one single interface that is easy to use. The risk decisions are much faster, and having prediction models that are applied in minutes means we can automatically approve different products without human intervention. The initial setup was easy because we benefited from support and consultancy from SAS for the SAS Viya implementation. The Build Decision component replaced our previous system effectively, and it comes with a competitive price. Also, top management having access to the SAS Dashboard with real-time information is important for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAS Risk Management?

I find it challenging that they do not offer a real voice agent that can be used for collection discussions with clients or for call center. I would like them to extend their offer to include this segment in the future. Additionally, I think it would be beneficial if the AI Voice agent could converse in different languages, such as Romanian for my case. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Strong Analytics and Governance for Clear, Transparent Risk Reporting"
4.5/5
What do you like best about SAS Risk Management?

SAS Risk Management brings strong analytics, governance, and regulatory support together in one place. It gives risk teams better visibility, helps with stress testing and model oversight, and makes reporting more structured and transparent. It is a tool that is used daily by the risk teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAS Risk Management?

The user interface can feel dated and less intuitive than newer platforms, so there’s a learning curve especially when troubleshooting issues. In addition, the integration with R and Python can be less seamless, which can create extra effort and performance overhead with large datasets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"High-Performance In-Memory Data Management with Flexible Engine Configuration"
5/5
What do you like best about SAS Risk Management?

The ability to manage mass amount of data with high performance working them in memory. The ability to configure and change the engines according to internal needs. Nothing is completely blocked. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAS Risk Management?

The system is expensive. The rates are usually only affordable for large banks and don’t seem adaptable for smaller clients. Also, the transition from older technology like SAS 9.4 to SAS Viya is confusing for clients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Robust Reporting, But Faces Integration Challenges"
4/5
What do you like best about SAS Risk Management?

I appreciate the science behind the technologies utilized in SAS Risk Management, especially for visual analytics and the customization of reports. I find the modules like IFRS9 incredibly beneficial, particularly the reports for Expected Credit Loss (ECL) calculation, which are an essential part of our operations. The ability to harness these advanced tools and create comprehensive visual dashboards significantly aids in our compliance with regulations. The capacity to handle complex data and generate insightful analytics empowers us to manage and solve issues effectively, enhancing our operational efficiency. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAS Risk Management?

I believe there are issues related to running the SAS Risk Management environment on a Windows-based infrastructure, causing downtime which affects multiple modules. Additionally, having the modules spread out in terms of infrastructure could prevent one module's maintenance from impacting others and end users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
