What do you like best?

Just clicking on a button and a document generates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Sales and Support. When we initially signed up with Conga, there were two of us using the forms that were created. We felt we paid a lot of money just for two people. Our account executive at the time told us that when it comes to the next contract renewal, we would already own the forms. We created the forms we needed in 2019. When our contract renewal came up, we found out that while we own the forms, we would not be allowed to generate the forms unless we signed a new contract. This is a major detail the account executive left out.

I hope in the future that Conga will consider offering a less expensive option for small businesses with less than 10 people.

I utilized support for every form we needed to create in 2019; Sales Order, Purchase Order, Invoice and Packing List. All of the people I worked with in the past were very helpful. I recently contacted Support within the last month and I spoke with two individuals that were telling me that the new form I needed to create couldn't be done. I tried explaining this new form uses the same data as the other forms, but they couldn't help me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We have been using SalesForce Professional since 2009. In late 2018, we signed up with AccountingSeed for our accounting system which we found in the AppExchange in SalesForce. I spent Oct-Dec 2018 working with AccountingSeed to implement the new system which went live on 1/1/19. As we started using the new system, we found out AccountingSeed didn't have a Sales Order form or Order Confirmation form. They suggested we contact Conga for document generation. We were able to create some forms using Conga.

It's very convenient to just click on a button and have a form generate. You can then click on another button for a Mail Merge and then email the form to a customer (Sales Order and Invoice) or vendor (Purchase Order). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

With a system to create simple documents as well as richly complex, we are able to input data into one database object and see it appear in any type of document. Moreover, because Conga is so well established, their support teams are great, as is the ability to reach out to "Conga Experts" across the web. This enables to outsource document template creation if we had someone onboard with our organization but needed to to learn the platform/ system. Finally, something great that we know now through Conga is that we can do everything in a paperless format with Conga integrated into our CRM. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

You should know that there is a small learning curve so having someone a little more technical on your team can be an advantage. It is fair to acknowledge you don't need to have a programming background but an understanding of mail merge and/ or how to read some programming language would be an asset. If you understand MS Excel Mail Merging or template creation, you would find that it is a little easier to get started. However, this is not a prerequisite. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It's a great idea to understand the longer history that Conga has within the App Exchange environment and that they are fully integrated with Salesforce and, like our custom App built on Salesforce, can be with others. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Most work our team members perform is creating documents. Conga helps us to manage data in real time directly in the system and prevents us from having to replicate it in multiple types of documents. Essentially, Conga makes it possible for us to manage our days with single input. That data can be then exported through the document generation into multiple document types without re-inputing. What do you like best?

Conga makes it easy to produce documents with SF information which may be used over reporting. The energy of your information within the SF is improved by touch models, delivery and automated document production. I love the easy and modern to use graphical user interface. What do you like best?

I love the Conga, it saves me period since I do not need to go forth and back to enter the same info - especially a lot of information. I am certain I make fewer mistakes since I do not have to enter all the data via hand. It is very simple to be found categories that could be combined and next create one expert product. What do you dislike?

Integration with the Salesforce limbs may be bothersome. Sometimes a failure happens and we've to restart the Salesforce or perhaps reintegrate the system. At times there are all of the blank areas in the mailbox that will have been loaded in. What do you like best?

The ability to pick to merge in one document from a list of different documents is vital to our business. The rep also needs to be able to pick which version they would like to use so Conga allows this functionality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Because we have about 10 different forms that can be merged we have run into speed issues that we have had to try to mediate. We did find a way to help but that was something we definitely had to work through. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

The support system is the best thing about this software it is timely and has proven effective in the general direction of our work. Besides that, there is a great variety of templates that make generation of documents a walk in the pack, the collaboration attributes of the software are above par and unmatched at the moment in our experience using this software. There is also a great user interface and indeed the software is one that is can easily be adapted to by different people thus time wasted on on-job training. What do you dislike?

The greatest benefit has been the variety of templates and the fact that there is a collaboration tool that has also enabled time saving in the execution and delivery of projects at the organisation. What do you like best?

As soon as you learn how to make use of the Conga, it will become a very useful tool. Conga is extremely flexible, which means that you can make use of it to achieve a goal of creating paper. It's also a great customer service. You will find useful web resources with a few very simple questions, but Conga support staff is incredibly beneficial in case you need assistance with something. What do you like best?

Because of someone leaving the company I work for I have inherited numerous Conga tools. I am still getting up to speed but to date am very impressed. Although I can't speak much to the tools themselves at this point I would very much like to call out Conga's customer service. They are responsive, knowledgeable, professional and personal. They have a way of making you feel like you are their favorite customer. What do you like best?

Templates with data tags to pull CRM data into documents automatically.

Accurately pull in CRM data info your documents eliminating the need for copy and paste and reducing errors.

Automate documents with connections to CRM data.

E-signature is an amazing feature right now while we're all remote. Sign from your computer or tablet.

Weblink feature allows for sending a link versus an attachment - plays well in tech space.

What do you dislike?

Some clients can't esign so we have to pull docs out of the system.

What do you like best?

We have been using conga for years. It is very easy to use. We just need to merge the fields that are in the report to the template. And then Conga will do the job for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Have to open a case if we encounter some issue with the product. Whenever we have a template issue. We have to go to the website and open a case. A technician will contact us latter and walk us thru the steps to fix the issue. Sometimes one call is not enough, we have to schedule another call. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

great product. If it is a start up company, better start with the right direction and map out everything first before implementing any product, otherwise modifying during the production will cause a lot of issues going forward. Having a new system is very hard. Therefore mapping things out is very critical and important for every single user. This applies to Conga as well. We created few reports for the template purposes. Those reports keep getting updated because there are more and more elements we need to consider as time goes on. Almost 80% time when we change the report, there will be an issue happen to random users. Therefore I highly recommend think as many possibilities as possible in the very beginning, so that you can eliminate the chance of changing what is built in the future.
