"Best Tool for Keeping Ownership Perfectly Organized."
What do you like best about Asana?

Asana is good for keeping tasks, timelines, and owner information well-structured and organized in a single place. The board, list, and timeline views are good for managing different types of work based on the team’s needs. This helps in tracking and keeping everyone aware of what needs to be done and by whom, which is helpful in avoiding confusion during task execution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Asana?

The reporting feature is not so strong for basic plans and needs to be upgraded to a high-tier plan for better reporting capabilities. The automation capabilities are not very strong compared to other tools. The tool also gets messy if not well-organized due to a high number of tasks and lack of proper tagging and organization of workspaces. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Asana is the best project management tool"
What do you like best about Asana?

One newer thing I like about Asana is how much more streamlined it feels for managing day-to-day work across a team. It’s become even better at giving visibility into priorities, ownership, and timelines without making the workflow feel too heavy. I especially like how easy it is to move between different views depending on what I need, whether that’s a list, board, or timeline.

I also appreciate the improvements around automation and project organization, since they help cut down on repetitive admin work and make it easier to keep processes consistent. Overall, I like that Asana continues to make collaboration, accountability, and visibility feel more intuitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Asana?

One thing Asana could still improve is making the platform feel less cluttered when you’re managing a lot of projects at once. Asana has a lot of powerful features, but sometimes that also means important tasks or updates can get buried. I’d also love to see even better reporting and dashboard customization so it’s easier to get a quick high-level view without having to build everything manually.

Another area for improvement would be making automations and advanced features feel a little more accessible to everyday users, especially for smaller teams that want efficiency without a lot of setup. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Perfect Organization and Clear Assignments with Asana"
What do you like best about Asana?

I love being able to create rules in Asana because it helps me keep workflows organized. I can organize tasks according to the sections I have created, like something I just assigned to myself or that I have to complete this week if it's a priority. This is particularly useful when organizing both my work and my team's work. I also like that I can quickly assign tasks with clear dates and expectations. Additionally, I can create sections based on priority or due date and set rules that automatically manage these tasks according to their urgency, which I find very useful. What do you dislike about Asana?

I love everything, how it lets me create rules and organize workflows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Asana: Intuitive, Lightweight Task Tracking with Smooth Integrations"
What do you like best about Asana?

Asana stands out for its ease of use and ease of implementation, allowing teams to get started quickly with minimal onboarding effort. It is used frequently for day-to-day task tracking and collaboration due to its intuitive interface and clean workflows. While it offers a solid number of features for planning and coordination, it remains lightweight rather than overly complex. Ease of integration with common productivity tools further enhances its usability, and overall customer support has been reliable and responsive when assistance is needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Asana?

Can become noisy – Notifications can pile up quickly in large projects.

Less suitable for issue/bug tracking – Not ideal when detailed traceability is required. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Essential for Transparent Project Tracking"
What do you like best about Asana?

I use Asana for tracking projects for individuals and teams, and I find it really useful for easier and more transparent tracking. I like how it makes audits simpler and helps with showcasing and demonstrating for ELT. The ability to add screenshots, end dates, and expected dates to tasks is great. It makes tracking time spent on projects straightforward. Simple reporting and easy tracking of team goals are features I enjoy. These features save time, reduce confusion, and keep work moving smoothly. The screenshots add clarity, and end dates contribute to accountability. The initial setup was pretty easy because their documentation is almost perfect. Their customer support has been consistently reliable and they provided clear guidance and constant support during integration, as we use Asana on daily basis to help us in tracking day to day tasks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Asana?

Honestly I have had a great experience overall. If I had to point out a couple of downsides, it can occasionally feel a bit slow with larger projects, and some of the more advanced features are locked behind higher pricing tiers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Structured Tasks and Projects With Asana."
What do you like best about Asana?

Asana is a structured work management tool for managing tasks and projects in a centralized location. The tool offers different views of projects and tasks, such as a list view, board view, and timeline view. The tool is helpful in managing projects and executing them efficiently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Asana?

The tool is not very helpful for reporting and automation for lower-tier plans. The tool also gets cluttered if projects are scaled and not structured correctly. The tool needs to be set up carefully and thoughtfully to maintain a consistent naming convention and tagging convention. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Flexible Project/Task Management Tool that Accommodates Many Working Styles"
What do you like best about Asana?

In Asana, there are lots of ways to organize projects, tasks, and lists. I like this because if you are more visual, there's an option for that. If you prefer lists, there's a way to view projects like that instead. If you want smaller tasks that bubble up to more significant projects, you can make that work. It's easier to work with your team, who all have different ways of looking at their to-dos, and all manage them together. Excellent for collaboration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Asana?

Because of the flexibility and style options, it's hard to get a clear picture of what a team is doing as a whole and who is responsible for what for lower-level tasks and projects. But that's more of a comment on teams than it is on Asana! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"User-Friendly Workspace with Meaningful Employee Recognition"
What do you like best about Asana?

The workspace is very user-friendly, More than that, I like the way how you can congratulate the employee on completing the task - you get the emotional icons to appear, you can share the appreciation. FOr the daily work Asana is a great tool due to private and team projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Asana?

Lack of ability to track daily progress - task have pretty long deadlines, and the reporting for long-term distance is great, short-term projects could be reflected better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Awesome tool for Project and team management."
What do you like best about Asana?

New AI integration offer better insights and saves time.

Recently, I’ve been making the most of Asana’s upgraded AI Teammates. Now I am able to pass on boring stuff—like risk reports or multilingual searches—to the AI while only focusing on the parts of web dev and marketing I truly enjoy. It’s a real time-saver.

The Timesheets & Budgets add-on? Honestly, it’s made tracking client hours and expenses way less of a headache. I don’t need to juggle a bunch of spreadsheets anymore, which feels like a small miracle.

And those new Role-Based Access Control updates? They’re a big step up for admin security, especially while I’m experimenting with team setups for things like WhatsApp API and SaaS projects. It feels like everything just clicks into place now. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Asana?

Asana really needs to allow users assign a task to more than one person. Right now, you’re stuck picking just one, which slows things down when teams are working together—especially on web development or marketing projects. People end up creating subtasks or other workarounds, which just adds clutter.

Customer support could use a serious upgrade, too. Users often complain about slow replies, chatbots that don’t actually help, and getting the runaround with refunds. When you hit a snag with something like the WhatsApp API integration, you want real help, not more headaches.

It would also help if Asana had built-in time tracking and didn’t lag when you switch between views. Those fixes would make everyday work a lot smoother. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Asana is perfect for teams with collaborative workflows"
What do you like best about Asana?

I've started using dashboards and other features in projects and the automation feature for turning tasks in a seperate backlog project, to then action and assign the task once put in the main project. With Asana's AI, it helps break down big tasks into smaller achieveable ones making it much easier to progress. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Asana?

Intergrations are key to our scaling business, and right now the Google Workspace intergration can be a little wonky. Attaching emails or refering them in tasks is key to anyone who doesnt have the whole company in Asana, or people less familliar with task managers and still email requests. I think with another look at the intergration, and with Asana AI to help flesh them out, would be super helpful! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
