Aljex has helped me with mutliple things from billing work for the shipments to store and share the paperwork with the carriers and the clients. Another helpful feature of Aljex, in my feild of work, is that it gives an option to VOID/cancel the shipment even if created initially (in case that shipment was never completed) and it also is very helpful with it's feature to be able to block MC#'s given the increase in the number of fradulent carrier activities in the system. If I find out a carrier is scamming us then I can block that MC and prevent that carrier from ever working with us. Also, it gives an option to set customer limit and prevents from booking a load with that client if the limit is reached until the payment is made from the client which enables keeping a track of the pending amount to be collected and avoids clients from putting us in too much debt. Another helpful feature is it'd ability to create a unique load/pro# for each shipment. You can anytime enter that load/pro# to find out easily which carrier and customer booked that load with us. Filtering data can be a little rigid. If I want a very specific time window with certain vehicles only, I usually export and adjust in Excel. Inside Samsara, it works, but not always the exact way I want. I wish there was more flexible time filtering. Sometimes I don’t need full day data. I just want, say, 10:30 AM to 1:15 PM for only two engineers. Right now I can filter by date, but when I need very specific hours across selected vehicles, I usually export and clean it outside. One thing I don’t love about Motive is that sometimes the alerts can feel a bit too sensitive, which means we have to spend time reviewing events that aren’t always serious, there’s definitely a lot of data, which is great, but it can feel overwhelming at first until you get used to filtering what really matters. Motive is helping us solve visibility and safety challenges across our fleet, before, it was hard to really know what was happening on the road in real time, now we can monitor driver behavior, reduce risky driving, and address issues before they become bigger problems. Sometimes, I feel that the system does not automate certain things in the way a system would probably do. Things like printing a document or labels require too many clicks which requires some more time investment. It is manageable but could be better. SPS Commerce Revenue Recovery is helping us address the issue of Amazon and Wal-Mart deductions. These two large companies can do whatever they want because of their size, and Supply Pike makes it easier to push back without getting stuck in the weeds. There are very rare gaps and trouble with some ocean carriers that struggle with reporting information that in turn Gnosis cannot report. Ingate dates, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Container tracking, along with ingate and out gate dates, helps validate invoicing and ensures accuracy. The ability to project per diem and detention charges allows us to invoice customers more quickly and prevents them from being caught off guard by unexpected fees. The ability for us to push custom reporting to our customers has been a gamechanger. The BI aspect of the CLM portal has also been very helpful, especially within the last year, as a 3PL, we have been able to see and learn more about our customers supply chain we were previously not privy to - especially in the new tariff environment. Our data wasn’t in the best condition, so implementation took longer than we expected. Especially early on (as with any software like this), you really have to pay close attention to the outputs it’s producing. We had a few wildly wrong order suggestions, which came down to our poor data rather than SIQs system, so it’s important to have your team in place to spot issues quickly and address the underlying data. If there are data issues or refresh issues, it can sometimes be a little hard to diagnose the issue within SIQ - having said that, whenever we have had issues, the support team have been great with resolving it.

The release notes and guides are very useful with each release, but the training videos in the Help centre aren’t always updated to reflect the changes that come in. It would be great to see this fleshed out a bit more and kept up to date. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Historically our forecasting was Excel-based, so trying to forecast for products was very slow and - at times - very inaccurate. It was also very difficult to see trends of our products, product groups etc. SIQ has helped us massively in both these areas, and is used every day by our team. I use it mainly for pricing, so I haven’t explored all its features. That said, I’ve run into a few issues when quoting multiple shipments. Rates sometimes stop displaying, and I have to refresh or log back in to continue. Before using the platform, comparing rates manually acrross multiple carrier sites was time-consuming especially when quoting for multiple lanes or new projects.
