**What do you like best about Whale?**

I love using Whale because it is fast and simple to use, the forever free plan is amazing, and keeping things straight within in the team has never been easier.
I like the templates because they are always giving me ideas of things we could implement to streamline the company. Never had any complications in the 4 months we've been using it.

**What do you dislike about Whale?**

The only thing I dislike about Whale is the default fonts for the cards, but that can easily be changed. No complaints!

**What problems is Whale solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We struggled with going through many admin people in a short period of time, and the time and effort it was taking the team here to train them and only have them leave was a problem.
We can now easily assign reading to all employees to train or keep them up to date on changes within company

**What do you like best about Whale?**

I tried a competitor, but it was way too complicated.
From the very first minutes using this tool, everything felt intuitive.
The pricing scales with your team, which is perfect as you grow.
And the playbooks? Super easy to use and incredibly helpful for building structure.

**What do you dislike about Whale?**

Nothing. Price is superrr friendly! Some features we did not use as we didn't have time to explore.

**What problems is Whale solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had our processes documented on SharePoint, but no one was consistently using them—there were no updates, and syncing issues made it even worse.

  ### 5. Whale has transformed how we share key business info with our teams

**What do you like best about Whale?**

Whale is super easy to use and roll-out.  It has an engaging user interface which is streets ahead of what we used to use for our internal SOPs (SharePoint) and has massively enhanced our ability ensure that all of our employees have the most up-to-date company processes, procedures and guidless at their fingertips at all times.  It has a number of great features that make it simple to capture, share and track readership of key company content - such as simple but powerful video capture, training flows, read assigments etc.  And the web-plug in is a game-changer - this has allowed us to easily surface some key application guidance inside our own webapps, using the same Whale content that can be searched at any time.

**What do you dislike about Whale?**

The only (minor) negative is that the content editor is a bit basic.  It has a numgber of built in styles (which you can change font type, colour, size etc) but for things like paragraph spacing before and after headings, it is a bit limited.  Also, the search feature could be better - it's great at finding cards with the search term in them, but then you have to do a CTRL-F (Find) to actually locate your search text inside the card.

**What problems is Whale solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sharing current information easily.  Simplifying SOP creation for everyone in the business.  Enabling us to find information with minimal clicks.

**What do you like best about Whale?**

Whale is incredibly easy to use but provides very rich functionality that is really critical to us as we build our operations manual from the ground up including the ability to assign owners and review dates. The rich formatting options for the cards and playbooks and the ability to attach video and images is also a major feature for us.

**What do you dislike about Whale?**

We had a short learning curve as we learned the difference between cards and playbook. This was really more about us just jumping right in without thinking through the best approach.

**What problems is Whale solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Although we are a small org, we have experienced a great deal of growth over the last 2-3 years. Much of our org knowledge was held by a few users, making it difficult to on-board new people. It also left us struggling when people were out as others were not sure how to accomplish certain tasks. New people also struggled with understanding what tools were available to them and who to go to for assistance in other areas of the org.

**What do you like best about Whale?**

I love Whale! 

The platform is so intuitive - from a user and content-contributor perspective! The templates are so helpful in creating SOPs that follow the aesthetic of an organization. 

I also really love the features, like the step recorder! Sometimes, when a task or procedure is second nature to me, I forget to mention key elements to get the reader to the same place in a process - so this feature has been great! It eliminates confusion and makes processes easier to follow. 

Also - the QR codes. What an incredible idea. Sometimes there isn't someone around to walk you through how to do every function of your job, so offering a solution to this issue is fantastic!

Finally, Stino is fantastic. He's so helpful and encouraging and enthusiastic! I created most of my SOPs using an incompatible format (I didn't realize my SOPs would really be used by anyone but me) and he was able to take what I had - which was A LOT - and turn them into functioning Whale cards with the formatting my organization prefers. That would've taken me ages. He is so efficient and friendly - such a pleasure to work with!

**What do you dislike about Whale?**

There isn't really much that I don't like about Whale! Maybe just the size of the chrome extension widget? Sometimes it gets in the way of my webpage but it's such a minor issue that it seems silly to bring it up.

**What problems is Whale solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Whale is helping us answer the questions that we get most frequently! By having our directions written in clear and detailed formatting, questions are answered before they're asked, and the reader gets complete information and training!

**What do you like best about Whale?**

Whale has created a platform that I am able to make safety readily available and easy to find. Getting our information tranferreed into Whale was a breeze. Using Whale to train employees on certain safety topics and streamlining onboarding has been a huge help. Using the analytics to see if employees are understanding the content to being able to see if we are providing the content employees are needing through the searches that are taking place has become a go to resource within Whale. I use Whale daily, continuing to create more training and informational spaces for our employees. Whale has also made it incredibly easy to bring information together between different departments by linking cards.

**What do you dislike about Whale?**

I have truly not found anything I dislike with this platform as the team at Whale has been on top of anything and everything when going to them for assistance.

The ability to train more efficiently across all aspects whether it be processes, safety, standard operating procedures, etc.

I never thought it would be possible to find a software easy to use for creating the documentation but at the same time easy for our employees to interact and get started with.

**What do you dislike about Whale?**

I have not encountered something I don't like about the platform yet. There are some areas of improvement talking about personalization, but nothing that stops you from using it at its full potential.

**What problems is Whale solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A big problem we used to have before starting using Whale was that we lost a lot of time teaching the same processes every time we got a new employee. Now, we are not just saving that time but can run quizzes on people to ensure they understand everything.

Whale is huge step up from what we were using before. UI is great, it's intuitive, extensive reporting. We've been impressed with how easy every apsect of the system has been and it seems Whale is committed to keeping it that way. The cherry on top is the hand-holding support we've received every step of the way.

**What do you dislike about Whale?**

I haven't discovered anything to put in the dislike pile. Every system has limitations but it's 10/10 so far

Keeping my processes organized! I love the structure and organization to keep my processes laid out in an order that makes sense and is easy to search.

Other people don't utilize it as much. I continue to struggle to get other departments using whale and realizing it's full potential.

As the Operations Manager of a growing company, Whale has created a product that is allowing me to create the SOP's that we need in one central location, I am  able to tag in other Collaborators and share out the playboooks with ease. I love that i can add in links from our other platforms.  It is very simple to go back and edit cards as needed. Intergating our files from our drives and AI generation and has been a huge time saver for us.

It would be great if Whale would auto save the documents as we are creating them. Would like to be able to export to more  documents to more than PDF. It would be great if Whale integrated with Monday.com

**What do you like best about Whale?**

I feel that Whale was created for me. As COO of my company, it can be overwhelming to manage corporate SOPs, onboarding, and user training, along with having a single source of truth for document management. Whale has given me the ability to share this burden throughout the company with assigned experts to manage each of these areas going forward. The review reminder process is great. The ability to create training flows and AI-generated quizzes has been a game-changer for us. Since we deal with customer contracts and P&Ps, having a centralized repository for these documents is great. No longer am I searching for the latest iteration of these documents. Card Analytics is great for tracking revisions and having an audit trail of user changes. Whale has many more features but what surprised me the most is how efficient this software is making my company. Or, should I say, it's showing us how inefficient we were in these areas. Whale's onboarding team has been great. Katrina and Stino have been excellent at making sure I would be successful using Whale. Once you get into it, it's very intuitive.

Whenever I think something is missing from Whale, a new release comes out and it's there. The folks at Whale take customer feedback seriously. There is nothing I dislike or have concerns with. It's a great company with a great product.

Whale's ease of use has us churning out a searchable knowledge base that has made us way more efficient. The Chrome plug-in to search our documentation in Whale has reduced the number of inquiries to each department for specific docs. It's all about efficiency. Whale has delivered.

We see Whale as our digital assistant. When the subject matter expert is not around, Whale is there to replace the SME and answer questions of employees.

As a company it is so easy to build up and maintain. As an employee it's just lovely to have your digital assistent around and to consult the knowledge.

One of the only things I wanted Whale to improve on was to make a list view of the kanban view. But guess which feature Whale's launching next week? The list view. ;-)

Whale has an incredible web extension tool that allows for quick access to company informaiton with the ability to bookmark favorites and search without ever leaving the webpage I am on. It is incredibly helpful.

We have had small editing issues with font and such. We also need more permission levels. Right now only an admin can do certain things such as create quizzes however we don't want the people who can create quizzes to have acces to everything.

Whale gives us quick and logical access to company SOP's, templates, and more with the ability to assign items to users and track employee participation. We set review intervals so all the company managers can keep company inofrmation up to date.

I enjoy the lightbulb so I can bookmark things I use on the daily and are just a quick click away. I also enjoy how quick and easy the website is, so user friendly!

The biggest dislike of Whale is not being able to copy and past and make everything the same font type and size. It is a hassle to have to copy current SOP's into a word document and add the update we need to and make everything the same font and size and copy it back into Whale. Just makes extra unnecessary steps.

Whale solves our propblem of trying to find the most updated SOP. Instead of endlessly searching our Teams folders we can type in the Whale search bar and have the most updated SOP available to ensure efficient work flow.

It helps us a lot with streamlining out onboarding process. Whale just automates the assignment of different onboarding documents. We just add a new hire to a group and the system does the rest for us.

The editor is great as it has native screenrecording but it sometimes does not copy the style exactly like you had it set up in Microsoft Word. Luckily it can be easily amended after.

Our onboarding process was very manual. We had to send our new hires all the documents seperately and were doing that step by step. When one document was sent we asked them how it was and then sent the next one. Now we created an automated flow with also some quizzes in between so we can just let our new colleagues follow their own flow and speed. 

The feedback we have gotten from them is already very positive. And it's a lot less stressful for us.

Whale allows for a neat and organized place to document all processes and procedures.  The ability to add in embedded video and images all from the builder helps streamline the documentation process.  The platform can be setup to tell you when it is time to review all of your documentation at an interval you determine.  No more forgetting about having to review your SOPs.  The assignment function in Whale is great.  When something is updated or new, you can assign that SOP to the team for review and the system tells you who has and hasn't completed the training.  Overall it is a game changer for our company.  All SOPs in one place, everything documented and the automations will make onboarding a new hire so much more efficient.

**What do you dislike about Whale?**

So far have I have no found anything I dislike about the platform.  It is easy to use, intuitive and extremely user friendly.

**What problems is Whale solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Whale we no longer are searching for training material.  Everything is in one place and there are no duplicates of training documents.

**What do you like best about Whale?**

Organized, Customizable, and simplifies our core process library. It allows the firm to quickly and easiely update process libraries as systems and processes change and ensure that everyone is using the most up to date process.

**What do you dislike about Whale?**

It can be overwhelming without the help of an integrator. It's easy not to leverage the majority of it's capabilities or take longer to integrate into your firm without the support.

**What problems is Whale solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is helping the firm stay more organized in terms of core processes and policies. It makes things easier to find for the team and ensures that everyone is using the most recent up to date process or policy.

The fact that my company can keep all of our important documents in one space and find things very easily. The plug-in feature is also really great!

**What do you dislike about Whale?**

I might find some as time goes on, but so far there is nothing that stands out as a downside in the amount of time I have been using Whale.

**What problems is Whale solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using Whale our company had many different versions of the same document in various places because we would forget where the original lived. Now we are able to keep everything in one space and know exactly where to go when we need to find specific documents.
