  ### 1. Supremely effective organization for all my work projects

**What do you like best about Teamwork.com?**

For pretty much anything I want to organize or schedule in my workflow, Teamwork has a functionality for that. Plus it has a very active development team that is always researching, absorbing feedback, and adding new and improved features and fixes. And the support (which I never needed but I once used to ask a question about a particular functionality) is SUPER responsive, friendly, and easy to communicate with. There is a "Feedback" icon on the toolbar that you can always use to make comments and suggestions to the dev team, which I also appreciate. Love them!
Update in Jan 2025: I am still using this application and I still find it to be very powerful. I updated my dislikes because the 2 features I wish they had, they have now added them. The dev team is so amazing and responsive. The app is growing all the time.

**What do you dislike about Teamwork.com?**

It's difficult to find something to complain about with Teamwork. Every now and then I run into a small glitch. The glitches are almost never substantial. Also, there are so many features that I often feel I could be getting more out of Teamwork if only I knew what other features were available - but that's really a personal problem. I need to study! Lol.

**What problems is Teamwork.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Teamwork is helping me organize my work and keep on top of all the tasks I do and still need to do. It's amazing because I'm much less likely to let tasks "slip through the cracks." Plus it's so easy to communicate on a project-specific and task-specific level which really optimizes collaboration when our team members use that feature. This is so important to us as a fully remote team. We can also easily assign and reassign tasks to each other, which again, helps a ton with collaboration.

I track my billable hours and export that to QuickBooks.  So not only is it a good task manager for me, but a tool for billing.

The fields exported to QuickBooks has changed recently, and takes a bit of work to tweak that.

I love that Teamwork listens to and responds to user requests for features, bug fixes, and other things that makes Teamwork adaptable to our unique needs

**What do you dislike about Teamwork.com?**

Teamwork can't perfectly match and automate everything that we do. When it comes to time/resource estimates on tasks and employees, we still haven't found that magic system to accurately capture and predict what we do, but that may be a problem that gets solved in the next little while if the system gets renewed.

It helps us track both tasks and time logs in a uniform way, giving us our single source of billing truth.

**What do you like best about Teamwork.com?**

I would recommend Teamwork.com to a friend or colleague. One of the things I love about it is how easy it makes tracking tasks. The Board view is fantastic for getting a clear picture of where everything stands, and the time tracking feature helps me when it comes monthly gathering of billable hours for a project and where it stands against our estimated times.

A few other helpful features is being able to store documents on the tasks. It makes communication and file sharing so much smoother. Plus, the interface is really user-friendly, and I can customize most of it to fit my specific needs, which has been a huge boost to my productivity.

The reporting features are also super helpful as well as filter searches for time log entries and tasks. 

Overall, Teamwork.com has been a game-changer for my project management, and I think it could really help others too.

**What do you dislike about Teamwork.com?**

At this moment, I don't know of any downsides. There may be a better way I can personally views tasks on a board but I am trying to juggle tasks from multiple clients on one board and so I have to duplicate tasks into a generic team board which is seperate from the clients boards and I don't seem to know how to do that or if that is possible to pull in client tasks into one board.

**What problems is Teamwork.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is solving the fact that our small company doesn't actually have a full-time project manager. Many of us on the client services team, manage projects and this tool is helpful to do that. It helps track the full history on projects, tasks and all communication on these projects and tasks. It helps with tracking of tasks on a board since we all work remotely.

**What do you like best about Teamwork.com?**

Project management is pretty good. It's not as good as Monday.com by any means and the interface is like an apple user threw up all over a website. There's SO much wasted space and bad organization of data - but, it tracks time spent on tasks better than any other app out there. And that's the ONLY reason we are still there.

**What do you dislike about Teamwork.com?**

The interface hasn't hadn't had an upgrade in the years we've been using it. Compared to something modern like Monday.com it's a dinosaur interface.

You can't do anything modern without upgrading. Want AI? Pay more. Want integration with hubspot? My bill would go from $84 a month to over $300 a month. No thanks.

If there was anyone out there that could track time for invoicing as good I'd be gone. 

The charge for AI and App integrations was the last straw for me.

**What problems is Teamwork.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's decent for setting up task dependencies and task lists and templates. We do a LOT of the same kind of work again and again, so that helps.
It's great for tracking time spent on-site, or spent on specific tasks. THAT feature is what's keeping us here.

The ability to code my tasks, easily keep time, categories everything with crazy granularity, create new projects, lists, milestones, is why its my PM software of choice.

**What do you dislike about Teamwork.com?**

There's one area, and I've got faith that Teamwork will get this feature incorporated.  I am a freelancer who has few clients but lots of projects.  Invoicing is not as fluid and integrated as every other feature set.  I've explained my particular situation and TW engineers are looking at getting this incorporated.  TW can invoice for sure, this is a unique need of freelance architects.

We use it daily, one of the features we appreciate most is the time tracking functionality. It allows us to accurately record the hours spent on each project, giving us valuable insights into how much time certain tasks take. It integrates with our work system perfectly.

Some features come with other plans, some features views are confusing when they upgrade them, but you can quickly take the reins back because is easy to use for the daily tasks.

Teamwork also excels at fostering collaboration and keeping our team organized. We use it to create and assign tasks, set deadlines, and track progress. The platform's intuitive interface makes it easy for our team to stay on the same page, no matter where they're working from.

Teamwork allows our web team to share important timelines, milestones, and tasks with our internal clients as we assist them with updating their websites. It has a very simple learning curve and enables us to quickly teach partners how to use it. It also allows us to export project tracking reports for leadership to review. We use it frequently for various web projects management tasks.

The bulk task management could be a little more user friendly. Also, the project board default setups can be a bit tricky to navigate at times.

**What do you like best about Teamwork.com?**

We honestly couldn't live without Teamwork. We have a team of four leads, each with between 5 and 15 projects going at once and at various stages of completion. These are year-long projects with so many moving pieces that without our project manager and Teamwork, we would not be able to do as much as we do. Not only do we get everything accomplished, we do it on time and on budget! Teamwork is always adding great new features that make our job easier. We are even integrating it into other teams because we know the value of it and how much it will help them. We get a daily email with a list of upcoming deadlines for tasks and milestones so it is easy to stay on top of what you must focus on for that day.  We have had to reach out to customer support a few times asking about a feature we would like to see implemented and they either tell us it is something they are working on or offer a different solution.

Sometimes they change the UI and it takes us a bit to get used to it - more times than not, it isn't a big deal.

Create projects in as much detail, or as little, as you like, and set up recurring tasks, dependencies, and allocate to team members, or external people including clients (without them needing a paid account). Constant feature improvements since I started using it quite a few years ago. Can also be used for personal projects, tasks, planning and dreaming/distractions, to get the info out of your head and recorded in a central system.

It can be complicated to figure out the best features to make use of for your particular business, and how to implement them, but good once it's set up

I like how it can connect all team members for tasks as well reminders to keep track of deadlines. among other features that are used for the company.

**What do you dislike about Teamwork.com?**

There is nothing that I really dislike about it, I do feel like the user interface could be a little more friendly by having an actual homepage, sometimes I get confused and remember that the tab I clicked will be the main page.

It has helped with time management as well the ability to keep track of shipments being sent from overseas. It also allows teammates to make an adjustments to the tasked or change the deadline dates which we tend to use allot.

**What do you like best about Teamwork.com?**

It is easy to use, yet has been deeper and more powerful capabilities. It's a great tool for unifying developers, designers and everyone involved in a project, needing little training. It is a great place to link to and store all things related to a project or initiative, and because it is not tied to a complex workflow, any new user can easily pick up how to use it and what to do. 

We use teamwork.com daily, and it has powerful integrations with popular timekeeping and invoicing systems. To implement, takes virtually no time, and support is excellentt.

**What do you dislike about Teamwork.com?**

The newer interface is a little slower to use, do to positioning of previously easily accessible buttons. They've focused on simplicity at th expense of utility.

**What problems is Teamwork.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The teamwork helpdesk is incredibly easy to set up, and very affordable. It's very easy to onboard a team, and if needed, can be easily taiored to break up ticket types into different inboxes, for different team members. 

For project management, the lists capability is very intuitive, and our team far prefers it to more complex systems like Jira. You can make lists of lists, group lists by project, associate milestones with a project, store links and notes all in one place. Far easier to collaborate across clients and organizations than if using Office 365 or Google workspace, though it can leverage both easily, just by integrating or linking to their storage or documents.

For simple resources, we use the notes and links features liberally - no need to hunt through folders or link trees, everything is searchable and in one place, but separate from all your other stuff. 

The best thing about teamwork.com is that it is very fast, and very intuitive for any stakeholder to make sense of and use.

**What do you like best about Teamwork.com?**

Teamwork projects has helped our marketing agency, Richworth Marketing, stay organized, focused and on task. The organzational structure of the software far exceeds expectations. Our team relies HEAVILY on the Workload planner to plan our week and weeks ahead. Additionally, we use the timer feature to time our tasks to guage how long we are spending on each project to compare with profitability. Teamwork is extremely easy to use with the various Quick Features it has. Customer Support was absolutely wonderful and their onboarding team helped us implement the software within our company with ease. We use Teamwork every single day at our company, and as a matter of face, I am comfortable enough with the software to say that it is one of the backbones of our business that helps keep us moving forward.

**What do you dislike about Teamwork.com?**

The only downside of using Teamwork is the Mobile App features. Not all features are available on the mobile app. For example, the workload planner. If I am on the road, I would like to be able to use the app to see the workload for my team. Unfortunately, this is unavailable. Also, the Time page is not as robust on the app as it is on desktop, meaning the lack of filtration for companies, team members and dates. We use this everyday. I would love to see new features added to the Mobile App that already exist on the desktop version. 

I have not found a solution as the desktop version is not mobile friendly. So, if using my iPhone to login via Safari, the site is a bit clunky, thus making it useless.

**What problems is Teamwork.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a small team with a heavy workload, Teamwork makes it easy for us to schedule our time wisely. We try not to dump too much work on our tem's plate. So having the ability to really fine-tune our schedule is something that means a lot of us. Additionaly, it gives us to set clear windows for when projects will be complete for our customers to prevent us from making false promises, accidentally.

As a visual learner, I find Teamwork very helpful in helping me visualize my tasks and keeping it organized and all in one place. Especially, with the priority feature, I am able to see what tasks I must complete first or what tasks are more urgent.

**What do you dislike about Teamwork.com?**

One thing that I dislike about Teamwork is the timer. Stopping the timer on the task itself doesn't always stop the timer popout so sometimes it is inaccurate in tracking time.

I used to have trouble keeping track of my tasks and knowing how to prioritze them but with Teamwork, I am able to visualize my schdule and see what tasks I should complete first.

only using in browser on macook, missing an software for it. and missing function to save configuration for displayed rows(template) in my project

Teamwork is easy to use for my collaborators and clients.  It provides enough information for them to keep track of their tasks and provide the necessary information to the team members.  I use this project everyday which makes it a necessary tool in my day-to-day job.

**What do you dislike about Teamwork.com?**

I would like to see a calendar view which provides necessary information for collaborators and clients to see their tasks at a glance.  The import feature needs work from excel as 9 x out of 10 it will crash when trying to do an upload to create a new project.  Tracking hours for collaborators is not available unless they are a paid subscriber but not affordable for this one feature.

It is providing us with a tool that can be used by collaborators and clients to manage our projects.

**What do you like best about Teamwork.com?**

Teamwork.com is characterized by being a software that is responsible for managing projects, in this case business, because of this we use it in a way that allows us to schedule and collaborate in a very orderly manner, its platform has certain tools that make it really complete, since it is not necessary to download another application to have access to such actions, such as a chat that allows us to work together and communicate automatically even with customers, similarly, allows us to share files and / or documents, this is totally positive for the channels of communication within the company are met. It has improved our team messaging, file sharing and time tracking.

**What do you dislike about Teamwork.com?**

Storage limitations and inaccessibility to project templates are just two of the many limitations of the free edition. To help potential new users make an informed decision about purchasing the platform, you should allow them to do so.

**What problems is Teamwork.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Firstly, it is very important to mention its speed and ease of use, which makes it very easy to use the software from the beginning. It seems to me that the fact that it works online and does not depend on manual updates to purchase other programs is absolutely advantageous. Having features tailored to working with clients, including the ability to provide clients with real-time project updates via Gantt charts or Kanban boards, is a huge advantage. Allows for customization and branding while maintaining a professional image by sharing project progress with clients.

Teamwork allows me to quickly plan out my day, week, or month and visualize what I need to get done on any given day, as well as communicate with those on my team regarding project/task status.

I have not come across anything I needed or wanted to do that I could not.

We use teamwork to traffic and manage all client-related tasks whether they are one-off requests or part of bigger projects/initiatives.

**What do you like best about Teamwork.com?**

The UI of Teamwork is clean and uncluttered, and the software comes with a fantastic collection of features that aren't overly complicated. I can make sure that everyone on the team is aware of their duties and when they are due by using it to make thorough to-do lists, assign roles, and establish due dates. The option to set a task's priority as high, medium, or low is great. I can set a due date for a task. The templates in Teamwork are the best thing about Teamwork.  They are easy to use for quick addition of new projects with common tasks.  Being able to add timelines to the template is so useful as well.  Time tracking and sub-tasks are close behind.  Our team uses teamwork daily - I've got it open all day long for quick reference and updates on tasks.  Implementing the system and learning how to use it was no problem, new team members find it straight forward to use.  The option to make tasks recurring is also a huge help with all of the options available on how I would like to make it recurring.

This is a small thing but my least favorite thing about Teamwork is that when I am adding a task and putting a person on the task, if I change what list it the task should be under, the person I assigned it to disappears and I have to reselect them.  Also, the location of where to edit/create templates is kind of odd, it's not intuitive.

Teamwork  is helping us more clearly understand the time team members spend on tasks so that we can evaluate productiviy and profitability - super important!  It also solves the issue of tasks getting missed by our team to make sure projects are done properly.

I am the Site Administrator for Teamwork for my organization. As a part of managing the PMO , I must keep track of multiple projects across the organization. Teamwork makes my job very efficient. Every morning, I review the notifications, and address any concerns or issues with the project owners. It is very efficient to communicate and collaborate with the project teams using comments and messaging.

I generate weekly status reports utilizing ‘Project Health’, ‘Portfolio’, and ‘Chart’ to keep the senior directors informed about projects progress and status. It is very easy to generate the reports. 

I love Teamwork because it is comprehensive, intuitive, and very easy to learn. When a new employee joins the organization, the learning curve in not steep at all.

If I ever run into any issues with Teamwork, the support team is vey prompt and professional in providing the solution.

This is one of the best tools for project management in the market.

The upsides for Teamwork are the ease of adding in jobs and tasks, and the organization the platform provides with different clients, the project's urgency rating, and the clean interface of seeing daily tasks. The task timer is easy to use and effective. Project templates help cut down time on entering in tasks, especially for retainer clients. Overall, Teamwork makes daily task entering and completion easy to follow and understand.

Currently, I am being asked to confirm I am a human before Teamwork allows me to sign in which is not only annoying, but this is every time I log in. This is a new feature but I feel like it should go by IP address so every time is not necessary. Hunting for closed tasks could also use some improvement for ease of use.

Love the way we can see allthe reporting and stats about each project and each users. Let you plan a project in details and make sure you have the necessary information all in one place. It's a robust plateform, not sure it's the best solution for a small business with a limited amount of project at the time.

Love the ability to organize tasks by clients and then projects. Being able to add comments, notes, updates is very easy and allows the team to stay on top of tasks and updates without having to use another application to contact and send updates. 

I also love the ability to keep track of all tasks, this is a life saver when you have 80+ clients to manage!

The latest update that opens the task on the right hand side versus opening the task. I do understand the value of this for quick updates and potentially other types of users/businesses. However the way I need to use the task/logging time functionality requires that I open the task in full.

It is quite helpful to be able to add tasks directly from email to teamwork! It assists in monitoring what has been received and what has to be followed up on. It enables you to monitor the amount of time you spend with a client and alerts you when you are about to exceed the number of hours scheduled. 
If more than one person is required to finish a job, you may add them all and they will be able to continue working on the assignment until it is marked as completed. Working as a team helps you stay organised and allows you to know what is due when.
