## Teamwork.com Reviews
  ### 1. Mediocre functionality

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Josh B. | Manager, Professional Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2024

**What do you like best about Teamwork.com?**

Adding tasks and data about tasks is seamless. I like the ease of creating lists and viewing task progress.

**What do you dislike about Teamwork.com?**

The GANTT chart feature is terrible. It offers little to no customization. The print version is unusable.

**What problems is Teamwork.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows me to share progress on the project with team members and stakeholders. I also really like the ability it affords to communicate about each task and the files section to store project files.

  ### 2. It's ok but not perfect.

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 09, 2023

**What do you like best about Teamwork.com?**

It is fairly intuitive to use, and allows us to keep track of time entry and project details. Customer service is responsive.

**What do you dislike about Teamwork.com?**

We aren't able to get any accurate budget reporting so that has been a complete "miss" for us. You're unable to assign individual tasks different rates. You can assign a rate to individual people, but in our case we have multiple ratesfor functions and one individual person might do several different functions.

**What problems is Teamwork.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Teamwork does seem to be adding new features on a regular basis so we're hopeful that some of the budget features will continue to improve.

  ### 3. Teamwork provides you with lots of information - sometimes, too much

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joanna B. | Senior Content Copywriter and Editor, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 18, 2023

**What do you like best about Teamwork.com?**

Teamwork was quite organized and easy to understand the basics. I appreciated how it organized all projects into a visual medium so users can quickly glance and get a general idea of where every project stands.

**What do you dislike about Teamwork.com?**

In some cases, there was just too much going on. You don't necessarily need to generate a graph for every single aspect of a project. It could easily lead to micromanagement.

**What problems is Teamwork.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is helping to solve the issue of collaboration and allocation for projects. I work for a content marketing agency, and sometimes we need several team members to work on various aspects of a project, so Teamwork makes it easy to divide tasks out and keep an eye on their progress.

  ### 4. Versatile and collaborative project management platform

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** BT N. | Managing Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2023

**What do you like best about Teamwork.com?**

The ability to track time right into a project and even granular to a task while deciding whether it is billable time or not. In the end, you have a true reflection of the time spent.

**What do you dislike about Teamwork.com?**

It is strictly project or task-driven. However, it may be worthwhile for the platform to pivot and become a workspace software. Granted, there is CRM and all the bells, but in the end, you have to use it with another software. In short, in its current form, it can not be an everyday go-to platform for a business.

**What problems is Teamwork.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Collaboration with project teams across different territories, including clients and client support personnel.

  ### 5. Decent collaboration tool

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mark O. | Senior Consultant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2022

**What do you like best about Teamwork.com?**

Great way to share and categorize files, and track messages through outlook. The dashboard provides a quick view of tasks with status by date so you can stay on track with any project.

**What do you dislike about Teamwork.com?**

The interface is good, but not as good as I have seen with other products. It takes a little time to get used to the interface, but once you do, then it becomes easier to manage and control project tasks.

**Recommendations to others considering Teamwork.com:**

It is a good program if you have to manage multiple projects that you need to manage and want something that is affordable.

**What problems is Teamwork.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using Teamwork to manage an EDI project with a vendor. One of the main benefits is that we can communicate through outlook and the tool captures all of the correspondence between us and the vendor. We also have all project documentation stored on the project.

**Official Response from Willow Littlewood:**

> Hey Mark!

Thanks for taking the time to review Teamwork and for sharing your feedback with us!

I've taken your feedback around the interface onboard and will pass it onto the team! Please get in touch if you think of anything else we can do to improve your experience with Teamwork, just pop an email over at support@teamwork.com.

Have a great day,
Willow

  ### 6. A lot of bells & whistles | Isn't always necessary

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shannon C. | Creative Project Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 11, 2022

**What do you like best about Teamwork.com?**

Teamwork had a lot of great features. A sort of one-stop shop for a project management platform. You can manage everything from tasks, support, timelines, billing and client communication all in one robust platform.

**What do you dislike about Teamwork.com?**

Just because it has all of these features (and more) doesn't mean it's superior to other project management platforms. For our agency, it wasn't the right fit. There were too many features and we weren't optimizing the use of the platform to the best of its ability, therefore, wasting money and time in the process.

**What problems is Teamwork.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were using Teamwork as our project management platform. We had all of our projects in teamwork, our clients had access to their projects and we were tracking time and billing (or at least trying to).

**Official Response from Willow Littlewood:**

> Hey Shannon,

Thanks for taking the time to review Teamwork!

We're glad to hear that you found a lot of our features useful, although we are sorry to hear that Teamwork wasn't the right fit for your agency at this time.

If you ever change your mind and would like to try Teamwork again, we would be more than happy to work with you to figure out how your team could make the most of our platform.

Have a great day,
Willow at Teamwork

  ### 7. Great support for business

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rao Farhan A. | Senior Sales and Support Executive, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 01, 2022

**What do you like best about Teamwork.com?**

I have been using teamwork for communication and keeping a record of everything; the best part is that we can create different communication channels and highlight different users, I can assign Role and keep track of everything

**What do you dislike about Teamwork.com?**

I have not seen anything that I do not like in it, but only I like to mention that Project Creator should be notified for all activities; most of my customers forget to add me under the notification, so we have to open all tasks one by one to see a message

**What problems is Teamwork.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

we are mainly using for customer communication and deliverables; we are an IT company, so we use Teamwork for Communicating our customers, for their Feedbacks, Complaints Appriciations

  ### 8. Great for managing projects

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2022

**What do you like best about Teamwork.com?**

That it is a tool to keep organized. visibility to the organization. That you can invite those to the workspace. everything is all in one place. I feel like its along the same lines as the competition.

**What do you dislike about Teamwork.com?**

If the team doesn't use it, its useless. nothing that is not realized. that it will make our lives easier! just making it easy for anyone at any age and tech level to use.

**What problems is Teamwork.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is keep everything all in one place. With visibility across the entire organization. I am more productive and its easier to keep all tasks on track. Yes, my performance has increased.

**Official Response from Willow Littlewood:**

> Hey there,

Thank you for reviewing Teamwork!

We're glad to hear that Teamwork has helped with increasing your productivity and performance 👏

Thanks for sharing your thoughts and recommendations! If you do think of anything else that we could do to improve Teamwork, feel free to let us know at support@teamwork.com.

Have a great day,
Willow at Teamwork

  ### 9. the legacy plan

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2021

**What do you like best about Teamwork.com?**

It's a good platform if you have a big budget.

**What do you dislike about Teamwork.com?**

We have a legacy plan, and slowly they took away things one by one. Now it's pretty much useless for us. We try to explain to sales team we can't move to their new per-user base pricing since they increased by X6 and we have asked to restore some of the function they take away we use daily like reporting they recommend us to update.

My recommendation to anyone interested in project management tools or any service for that matter. Check how loyal they are to their customers. You build loyalty by taking care of your customers first, not by taking functions away and forcing them to move on or upgrade.

**What problems is Teamwork.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

we have a mixed projects development work as well as marketing i can't comment on the new functions or the ones we had since we are no longer able to use it but overall it's a good platform you can customize based on your workflow

  ### 10. Lots of features, but not great for visual minds

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 14, 2022

**What do you like best about Teamwork.com?**

Ability to track so many different aspects of projects, and collaborate with other team members.

**What do you dislike about Teamwork.com?**

It's not super easy to navigate or find projects. I tend to keep bookmarks for projects I'm in often, because that's much easier than trying to find them natively in TW.

**What problems is Teamwork.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're able to collaborate with a fully remote team and track a lot of projects for a wide variety of clients.

  ### 11. It was good but the platform and projects has to be more friendly

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Government Administration | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 03, 2022

**What do you like best about Teamwork.com?**

The features that the platform has and how you can track projects

**What do you dislike about Teamwork.com?**

It's kind of unfriendly the platform they have

**Recommendations to others considering Teamwork.com:**

Useful

**What problems is Teamwork.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing projects and keep up with the tasks

  ### 12. Useful but tedious

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Uri T. | Senior Technical Customer Service Associate, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2021

**What do you like best about Teamwork.com?**

Ticket management of the teams and easy updation of the categories

**What do you dislike about Teamwork.com?**

Slow at loading, gmail integration and chrome integration fails to load.

**What problems is Teamwork.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Backend technical support issues.

  ### 13. Good for keeping team members in the loop, however, view options are limited

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 08, 2021

**What do you like best about Teamwork.com?**

I like how easy it is to see updates on products, as well as the ability to see teammate's calendars when assigning them tasks (makes project management a breeze)

**What do you dislike about Teamwork.com?**

In comparison to other project management tools, I do wish there were other ways to view project status. There are options for gantt charts, however, our company found it easier to build timelines out in a spreadsheet as it was difficult to get the rest of the team onboard.

**What problems is Teamwork.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're solving project management problems and checking off tasks that are part of a larger project. It also helps our team keep track of their time so we can accurately bill clients

  ### 14. I used teamwork for task managment in my past company

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pawan K. | Bigdata Platform Architect at HCL Technologies Limited, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 15, 2021

**What do you like best about Teamwork.com?**

Time management module and followp steps by owner

**What do you dislike about Teamwork.com?**

While I used it the first time, it took some time to learn this software

**What problems is Teamwork.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I would say its agile and more systematice way of management of it projects

  ### 15. TEAMWORK is excellent for managing projects

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Robbie O. | Managing Human Resources Consultant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2020

**What do you like best about Teamwork.com?**

This platform will allow you to manage your projects in a very solid way, you can chain tasks together without any problem. This means that the task that is about to finish notifies the person of that workforce, so that they can be alert to start the one that will continue.

**What do you dislike about Teamwork.com?**

I have not had problems, quite the contrary. It has helped me to manage our team. Your support has sometimes assisted us in a good way to resolve some doubts that we have had.

**Recommendations to others considering Teamwork.com:**

Fully recommended for all working companies that work at a job, clean and organized as well as saving time. Have a work team focused on their tasks and observe the general state of each project.

**What problems is Teamwork.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have better organized our time. The work team keeps working looking for the established goals and each one has been achieved. We save time and we can focus and channel it in other areas, each employee can be assigned tasks with established dates.

  ### 16. Robust Project Management Tool

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chad B. | Marketing Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2019

**What do you like best about Teamwork.com?**

I appreciate that Teamwork has multiple dashboards (that can be customized), showing due dates, items that are late, upcoming, and pending. Unlike other PM tools, Teamwork allows for file uploads, comment chains on sub-tasks (which can also have sub-tasks), and they can be assigned to multiple users.
Comments and replies can be done via email, as opposed to opening up the tool and searching for the task you're looking for.

**What do you dislike about Teamwork.com?**

Teamwork has so much going on that it can be overwhelming, and information, tasks, and projects are spread across multiple screens. I sometimes struggle to find where I've been "tagged" or mentioned in comments on tasks.

**Recommendations to others considering Teamwork.com:**

Look at other options before committing to Teamwork. For larger companies, Teamwork can get to be a pricey tool ( if there are multiple projects, users, etc.).

**What problems is Teamwork.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use TW to manage hundreds of clients, all varying in scope of work, scale of project and account, and number of users actively performing work on the account. Teamwork allows for easy collaboration with colleagues.

  ### 17. Effective, but clunky

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Arthur T. | Training & Outreach Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 08, 2019

**What do you like best about Teamwork.com?**

For project management and project tracking, this is an essential tool for assigning tasks and keeping multiple parties engaged in the milestones. It encompasses so much of the actual content and tracking for our projects.

**What do you dislike about Teamwork.com?**

There are many layers to drill down through before you get to an actual project. Once in, the system is not very intuitive to use. There should be more obvious avenues to see actual statuses, add tasks, track them, and create a comprehensive timeline.

**What problems is Teamwork.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This provides us an online project tracking tool for both the implementation team as well as the site side project management team. Both sides can share the system for task management and timeline accountability.

  ### 18. Fine, not the most intuitive

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 01, 2019

**What do you like best about Teamwork.com?**

I like that you can group tasks into a project and assign them to people, thread chats under each task, and when you check off a task it gets a strikethrough effect instead of disappearing so you can see what's been done.

**What do you dislike about Teamwork.com?**

The email alerts for missed deadlines can be next level. Either you're forced to set a deadline and it never lets you forget it, or you leave it open-ended and nobody ever sees or hears from that task again.

**What problems is Teamwork.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We work with outside vendors in teamwork so we know which person is taking care of which task when.

  ### 19. it is very helpful in building your relations with other

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Muhammad S. | Head of Email Marketing, Marketing and Advertising, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 17, 2019

**What do you like best about Teamwork.com?**

the best thing is that you got an experience of handling and managing the project. and you will understand the ideas of others and can make good relation with your team

**What do you dislike about Teamwork.com?**

the downside of team projects are that you can not implement your own ideas you have to gather all your team for their ideas.

**Recommendations to others considering Teamwork.com:**

it is very interesting and knowledgeable

**What problems is Teamwork.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

team work make me strong that how to handle the projects and how can you work with others. and how to help your team to work efficiently.

  ### 20. Good Way to Keep Things in Check

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Steve A. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 01, 2019

**What do you like best about Teamwork.com?**

The best thing about Teamwork projects is that you can pool resources together

**What do you dislike about Teamwork.com?**

I'd like to see better integrations with other tools.

**What problems is Teamwork.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Teamwork projects has helped us with building a project system for us to work

  ### 21. Using Teamwork for Training

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 10, 2019

**What do you like best about Teamwork.com?**

I've been using Teamwork to track the tasks I have to complete for training. Overall it's very fluid and easy to navigate. I like the checkmark system and how the due dates are clear.

**What do you dislike about Teamwork.com?**

I am annoyed by the messaging system for the completion of tasks, especially considering I already know I completed it.

**What problems is Teamwork.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm able to use Teamwork Projects to keep track of my training tasks, and my supervisor is also able to access it and keep track of my progress without any back and forth. This makes the training process more streamlined, especially for a remote job.

  ### 22. Pretty great

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 12, 2019

**What do you like best about Teamwork.com?**

I like the ability to organize down to subtasks, the ability to tie dependencies to tasks and the milestone views

**What do you dislike about Teamwork.com?**

Layers can get a little too deep and things can get lost, but I think that is more a reflection of how the organization I was with was using it.

**Recommendations to others considering Teamwork.com:**

Good project management product - isn't missing important functionality and is fairly inexpensive.

**What problems is Teamwork.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

General project management and document organization - time saved and mistakes avoided.

  ### 23. Nice app

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rebecca L. | Rebecca , Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 11, 2019

**What do you like best about Teamwork.com?**

It helped with team projects that needed to be done in groups

**What do you dislike about Teamwork.com?**

It was glitchy at times for my team and I.

**What problems is Teamwork.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to communicate with each other and get work done.

  ### 24. Keep track of tasks, and communication all in one place

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Media Production | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2019

**What do you like best about Teamwork.com?**

I like that you can add templates and create timelines for projects to be completed. People can communicate outside of teamwork via email so you don't always need to be signed in.

**What do you dislike about Teamwork.com?**

There are more places to store information than necessary, I think it could be a little overwhelming. There isn't a way to see information at a very high level. The calendar view seems like a natural place to be able to have that high level view, but its very limited.

**Recommendations to others considering Teamwork.com:**

If you're looking to be collaborative, and you are on projects that multiple people are assigned to, this is a good project management tool. If you're looking for overall trends between projects, this might provide some limitations.

**What problems is Teamwork.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Project management, production management. This tool has allowed us to bring all of our communication all in one place.

  ### 25. A Useful Toolkit for Project Management and Task Assignment

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Media Production | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 19, 2019

**What do you like best about Teamwork.com?**

It has a very basic, easy-to-understand layout. Navigation is simple and it's very intuitive to use.

**What do you dislike about Teamwork.com?**

Dependent tasks aren't as easy to reach/check off as they could be while checking off tasks complete. A dialog box pops up with a hover, but the task cannot be dismissed from here, it needs to be located individually within the entirety of the task list. Not good when working on projects that may have lapsed with several hundred tasks within them.

**What problems is Teamwork.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's an easy way to assign tasks to team members and keep track of progress while working through them.

  ### 26. Another project management tool

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jorge R. | Digital Transformation Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 30, 2019

**What do you like best about Teamwork.com?**

It has a good dashboard to present an overview

**What do you dislike about Teamwork.com?**

Not very useful for more complex projects

**Recommendations to others considering Teamwork.com:**

I prefer other project management services, this adds levels of complexity that I don't use and when I need more complexity for specific projects, it lacks.

**What problems is Teamwork.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

High-level Project management

  ### 27. Teamwork Projects Review

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 12, 2019

**What do you like best about Teamwork.com?**

It has the ability to create subtasks. Also it can be used to apply time estimates, set percentages on task completion, back-and-forth commenting area on tasks, ability to set milestones. These are very handy.

**What do you dislike about Teamwork.com?**

Can be overwhelming for new users. Too many places for comments. Comments can get lost.

**What problems is Teamwork.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Project management software. Perfect for Managing and Keeping Track of Work.

  ### 28. Good but not great

**What problems is Teamwork.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solving the problem of having to use separate time sheets.

  ### 32. Teamwork

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Elysia V. | On-Line Business Manager, Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 05, 2019

**What do you like best about Teamwork.com?**

Teamwork is a great one-stop shop for tasks, projects, and folders. The reminders and collaboration functions are helpful when there's more than one person on a project. Especially when the team members are located in different cities and states.

**What do you dislike about Teamwork.com?**

The sorting functions are a bit cumbersome. But not too complicated.

**Recommendations to others considering Teamwork.com:**

Tutorials are available to better learn the functions of this software.

**What problems is Teamwork.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have several clients and team members based throughout the United States. Email threads can be convoluted. Notebooks, conversations, actions, and updates are all available online for all of us to view in our timezones.

  ### 33. Good to manage team

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 22, 2019

**What do you like best about Teamwork.com?**

It is a good software . You can easily manage your teammates and assign task easily .

**What do you dislike about Teamwork.com?**

It is a bit slugy and sometimes you feel like not using this extra thing at all.

**What problems is Teamwork.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Assigning task has become easy and

  ### 34. Teamwork: Adequate Project and Hour Tracking

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Trenton C. | Online Marketing Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 18, 2019

**What do you like best about Teamwork.com?**

Teamwork offers all the basics in project management and time tracking and will work for these purposes across a variety of teams and functions.

**What do you dislike about Teamwork.com?**

Teamwork has a clunky and unintuitive interface. I find I'm often confused with simple problems like how to move tasks from one project list to another.

**Recommendations to others considering Teamwork.com:**

Shop around. There are myriad time and project tracking solutions out there.

**What problems is Teamwork.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our agency uses Teamwork for task assignment and hour tracking. It performs those basic functions adequately.

  ### 35. Robust, many features, easy to get lost in it...

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 06, 2019

**What do you like best about Teamwork.com?**

I like that there are a lot of features to help tackle the most basic and somewhat advanced project management needs.

**What do you dislike about Teamwork.com?**

There are a lot of features that aren't really connected so it's disjointed and requires a lot of duplicate work in order to make it work for what we need.

**Recommendations to others considering Teamwork.com:**

Have your internal project management process figured out before trying to implement Teamwork, versus trying to make Teamwork be your project management process.

**What problems is Teamwork.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Project management, time tracking, making sure projects stay within scope.

  ### 36. Great for Tracking Tasks

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Real Estate | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 06, 2019

**What do you like best about Teamwork.com?**

I get to keep track of tasks, and assign to co-workers

**What do you dislike about Teamwork.com?**

The Interface can be a little better.
Once the date on the task is changed, it's a little hard to find again

**What problems is Teamwork.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Not losing track of stuff

  ### 37. Good Task Management Tool

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 19, 2018

**What do you like best about Teamwork.com?**

It's great for having a list where you check things off, and being able to see those tasks disappear from the list when they are done.

**What do you dislike about Teamwork.com?**

Being able to use a template for projects is not as smooth of a process, and can be cumbersome to either add a list of tasks, or customize a specific list.

**What problems is Teamwork.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a project management team, we have required tasks that need to be done, and our projects are audited internally to make sure certain guidelines were met. This tracks and documents all of that.

  ### 38. A good project management tool

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carlota F. | Marketing Director, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2018

**What do you like best about Teamwork.com?**

It's easy to collaborate in tasks and follow up the status and development of different tasks that involve different people.

**What do you dislike about Teamwork.com?**

It doesn't help too much with planning and resource planning. Is more for following the project.

**What problems is Teamwork.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Task Management

  ### 39. Mostly good but a few frustrations

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Larry J. H. | Managing Partner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 08, 2019

**What do you like best about Teamwork.com?**

Easy to learn and feature filled. Little or no "training" requires.

**What do you dislike about Teamwork.com?**

Inconsistent loading and basic functionality

**What problems is Teamwork.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Communication with team members, assignment tracking.

  ### 40. Comprehensive project management software with lots of features

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kate P. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 26, 2018

**What do you like best about Teamwork.com?**

We chose to use teamwork vs. something simpler like Trello or Basecamp because we were looking for a tool that would be easy for all our teams to use with little training. We loved the ability to create template projects in Teamwork so that building out project workplans becomes super easy. You just pick a template for "focus groups" for example, and it populates all the tasks involved in that product/deliverable. It also has advanced features like integrated time tracking so you can get very granular on how long things are taking your team, and can set estimates so it can alert you when you're spending way more time than you anticipated on something.

**What do you dislike about Teamwork.com?**

Because of all the features it offers, Teamwork can be a bit complicated. Once the admins set everything up, it can be pretty plug and play for the rest of the team, though.

**Recommendations to others considering Teamwork.com:**

If you're looking for something with more features than basic project management software offers, Teamwork is a great option. They have lots of integrations with time tracking and CRM software, and are always adding more, making it simple to integrate it into your existing workflow.

**What problems is Teamwork.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Teamwork helps us see all of the projects going on and keep track of timelines, important due dates and overall workflow for our company. We've also used it to share timelines and workplans with our clients, which they have loved. You can even assign tasks to them so they know when they'll have to give feedback and they can plan ahead as well.

  ### 41. Robust and feature rich, but poor support and unwieldy

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christopher B. | Freelance Web and Software Developer, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 15, 2018

**What do you like best about Teamwork.com?**

From a user perspective, someone who was assigned and worked tasks in Teamwork Projects, I found it to be feature rich and easy to communicate back and forth between users on tasks. The email response feature was super helpful, and basic navigation to my own tasks was easy enough, though beyond that it was difficult to know where to go for what.

**What do you dislike about Teamwork.com?**

The web app as a whole was somewhat unwieldy and difficult to use. Part of this is down to UI/UX, which steers users to do certain things, and it steered my project managers to throwing everything into a giant text blurb, assigning a due date, and that was it. That's part to blame on design and part to blame on the project managers. It just overall seems like a lot of the features are hard to quickly pick up on, especially for non-techies, and that made it less useful to the development teams.

I only had to work with support once, and when I did, it was impossible to contact them, as the company on a Monday morning had done something to not just their web app, but their site as a whole, to make interaction impossible (broken JavaScript).

**What problems is Teamwork.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This was in place before I started working with the company. As a freelance contractor, I understood the application to be their entire repository of work to be done by everyone. This was helpful to everyone because we knew what everyone was working on and could view history of work done, as well as comments and discussions.

  ### 42. It's alright for basic projects

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 31, 2018

**What do you like best about Teamwork.com?**

I like that I can use the free version for projects that I do outside of work. It is easy for everyone to use and mostly self explanatory.

**What do you dislike about Teamwork.com?**

I dislike the format in general. It feels clunky and too much information is usually given when using Teamwork.

**Recommendations to others considering Teamwork.com:**

None really.

**What problems is Teamwork.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

None as we have stopped using it. We have one team that is working on moving off the platform. I rarely use it anymore except to monitor that team.

  ### 43. Love Teamwork Projects

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paul K S. | Co-Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 24, 2017

**What do you like best about Teamwork.com?**

This product is so simple to use and very easy to get working after all you need to do in login and the rest is each

**What do you dislike about Teamwork.com?**

Nothing is just works well and I have not complaints and or dislikes

**Recommendations to others considering Teamwork.com:**

Try this platform if you have remote workers

**What problems is Teamwork.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have the ability to manage all our teams wherever they are in the world both static and mobile

  ### 44. Working in teams online has never been so interconnected

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Luke Y. | Intensive Care Registered Nurse, Hospital & Health Care, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 25, 2017

**What do you like best about Teamwork.com?**

Allows the subcategorisation of different projects within the platform to be easily organised. It is a platform that allows great detail to go into how you wish a team to work to produce quality work in a timely fashion.

It has great features such as setting deadlines for submissions of work, meeting calendars, group email thread notifications and access limitations depending on your role within the group.

The access limitation feature is possible one of the best features as it allows access to the content that is relevant to the user. The whole platform may house 20 projects but a single user may only have access to 5. This allows a clear work area and lessens distractions that otherwise don't need to be there.

**What do you dislike about Teamwork.com?**

The user interfaces in generally pretty good, however at times it can be a bit clunky. For example going in and out of uploaded documents can be tedious as there required to be opened in a different browser window or downloaded complete (in the case of Word documents).

When editing notebooks within teamwork it can only be edited by one person at a time. If two people are working on the same notebook at the same time conflicting copies are made. Although teamwork does notify you with a pop-up box that someone else is using the notebook also, it still makes for a sometimes compromising user interface.

**Recommendations to others considering Teamwork.com:**

Consider all your options when committing to only group collaboration software. As they can be costly and in your company grows to supersede the features of the Teamwork platform it may be very different to transfer all information to a new platform, without being hugely time-consuming.

**What problems is Teamwork.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Avoiding confusing long email threads
Allowing group collaboration to majority work online
Open access file sharing for all involved members of the platform.
Secure communication area for confidential group discussion and meetings.

  ### 45. Excellent for projects with many deadlines

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 28, 2017

**What do you like best about Teamwork.com?**

I really enjoyed that you can have up to 10 people on a project, create several mini and major deadlines for the larger projects, and I love that you can leave notes and comments on various tasks so there is no miscommunication.

**What do you dislike about Teamwork.com?**

Sometimes the interface is difficult to manage between several projects. I have 11 research projects and found it frustrating to try to navigate between several projects.

**What problems is Teamwork.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I work in academia in research. They are multimillion dollar projects and it's helpful to be able to delegate tasks and deadlines to various members of the research staff. Everyone on the projects are held accountable for their various parts such as writing protocols, surveys, etc. This tool helps to keep us all organized and on task.

  ### 46. Teamwork Efficiency

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 22, 2018

**What do you like best about Teamwork.com?**

I like that you can make customized task list templates for projects you work on the most.

**What do you dislike about Teamwork.com?**

I think it is clunky to navigate. I don't like the dashboard, sometimes have trouble adding a file to just 1 task list, etc.

**Recommendations to others considering Teamwork.com:**

Try out Basecamp first.

**What problems is Teamwork.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Instead of emailing multiple people involved in a project, their specific tasks, you can simply task it all out on TeamWork. Avoids cluttered mailboxes and missed deadlines.

  ### 47. Could have a better interface but still okay

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Liz P. | Junior Designer, Design, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 29, 2018

**What do you like best about Teamwork.com?**

It's easy to see tasks that need done and to check them off

**What do you dislike about Teamwork.com?**

Hard to get to the overview for your monthly or yearly tasks, etc, the way that information is broken down could be much better organized

**Recommendations to others considering Teamwork.com:**

Not as sleek as Basecamp or Slack but maybe better for huge complicated projects w many moving parts

**What problems is Teamwork.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

working with a team to get multiple projects done for multiple clients

  ### 48. Good for managing large team projects

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 28, 2017

**What do you like best about Teamwork.com?**

How you can assign tasks to certain people with deadlines, specific information to include, and attachments.

**What do you dislike about Teamwork.com?**

It takes a lot of steps to do certain things - i.e. assigning dates. It would be great if copying a task list would copy the dates or interval of time between tasks as well.

**Recommendations to others considering Teamwork.com:**

It takes a while to learn and use the software smoothly so it's good to train team members on the software beforehand.

**What problems is Teamwork.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Better management and tracking of team projects

  ### 49. Decent task management tool

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 28, 2017

**What do you like best about Teamwork.com?**

I like that it’s easy to list out tasks, share docs, and document communication.

**What do you dislike about Teamwork.com?**

I dislike creating projects with multiple tasks it’s not user friendly, recurring tasks is a bit messy, and cross-team projects is not do-able.

**What problems is Teamwork.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Task management is solved and everyone can have insight into your work. You can also easily assign tasks and get updates on status without email/meetings.

  ### 50. Very good product with bad publicity

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 30, 2017

**What do you like best about Teamwork.com?**

I have been using teamwork for more than 3 years now. It offers all the basic features of a project management tool and with lots more on top. What I like the most is the richness of the product and also the simplicity of the UI compared to other alternatives

**What do you dislike about Teamwork.com?**

The onboarding process is weak and it can take some time to understand all the pieces

**Recommendations to others considering Teamwork.com:**

Worth trying but there are a lot more better options with less price

**What problems is Teamwork.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use it for backlog management and bug tracking. I used before for team communication over tickets as well
