## About Synup
Synup is a local marketing platform built for agencies and resellers. Agencies use Synup to deliver listings, reputation, and social media management for thousands of client locations, build local SEO into their own products with the Synup API and MCP server, white-label every surface under their own brand, and run agency operations from the same platform they use to deliver client work. It replaces the fragmented stack that agencies typically cobble together to deliver local SEO at scale. Listings Management Sync business information across Google, Apple, Bing, Facebook, and every major listing platform. Bulk edits push across thousands of locations in a single action. Track listings indexing across every platform to confirm each client location is actually live in search, not just submitted. Most listing tools stop at confirming the push. Synup tracks whether the data is indexed and visible to searchers. Reputation Management Monitor reviews across Google, Facebook, and every major review site. Respond using AI-generated drafts that match each client's brand voice. Send review request campaigns over email and SMS to grow review velocity for every client location. Social Media Management Tool Schedule posts across Google Business Profile, Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn for hundreds of locations in one workflow. AI generates localized content per location so every post feels native to its market instead of looking like the same campaign copy-pasted everywhere. Local SEO Analytics Track local rankings, GBP performance, and review sentiment for every client location. Reporting runs across the full client portfolio without spreadsheet exports or stitching data between tools. Local SEO Tools API Build local SEO into your own product. Agencies, platforms, and SaaS companies use the Synup API to power listings sync, review management, and GBP automation inside their existing applications. Headless and built to scale across millions of locations. Synup MCP Server Connect Synup to Claude, ChatGPT, and any MCP-compatible AI assistant. Agencies use the MCP server to query listings, pull review data, and manage client locations through conversational AI workflows instead of clicking through dashboards. Included for existing customers. White-Label Everything Every Synup tool, dashboard, and client report can be fully white-labeled under your agency's brand. Custom domains, your logo, your colors, your client-facing experience. Your clients never know Synup is in the stack. Agency Operations Beyond the core local SEO tools, Synup gives agencies a full operating layer to run their business from one platform. Offer essential local SEO tools to all your SMB clients at no extra cost -Forecast churn risk using client health scores and usage patterns -Build a single source of truth for all client information, enriched with AI-powered fields -Capture and enrich leads instantly using AI-powered prospecting tools -Manage sales pipelines with custom stages for marketing services and retainers -Track tasks and deliverables across marketing campaigns -Create and send invoices directly from Synup and automate your billing workflows Synup is the operating system agencies run their local SEO business on. The core tools handle client delivery, the API and MCP server let agencies extend Synup into their own products, and the white-label layer keeps every surface under your brand from the first click to the final invoice.

It's an all-in-one platform for listing updates, rank tracking, and review generation.Being able to white label it to my branding and allowing for my clients to log in from my portal is great.

**What do you dislike about Synup?**

I wish it had more directories to match some of the other competitors

**What problems is Synup solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has been especially helpful with my clients when moving to a different address. Since they are usually small and start ups, they have moved frequently. Being able to update everything with a click of a button is great.

The scanning tool is a great prospecting tool as well, showing why they aren't being shown in Google maps for searches is powerful.

 ### 8. Synup Local Marketing Review Management Plus

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brad J. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 08, 2020

**What do you like best about Synup?**

I like the interface and the fact that not only do the primary Local Citation cites get taken care of but there is also the additional tools for Review Management, Analytics, Voice Search optimization and more. The pricing structure is fair in comparison to what others charge with services offered.

**What do you dislike about Synup?**

At the start it is a bit of a get used to the environment moment. I would like it to have a better flow in my view but like I said, that is my view, for others it may be perfect. I don't have a lot that I can say bad about Synup. I had a couple of issues when I first signed up and when we were able to get together they were fixed quickly so no complaints there.

**Recommendations to others considering Synup:**

While it is a bit for smaller companies it is definitely worth committing to the larger monthly commitment and get the lower per-user pricing.

**What problems is Synup solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have a couple of clients that have a big need to keep up with Review management. That is both in having an easy way to get their customers to give them a review and a way to know when they get them and be able to promptly reply to them. Synup comes through in providing a way for me to be able to give them Dashboard access so that they can take care of their reviews and more

 ### 9. Great for creating NAP consistency!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Miranda B. | Digital Marketing Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2020

**What do you like best about Synup?**

The best and most beneficial function to me is the profile analytics and ranking analytics section. It's easy to download PDF reports for my clients and my sales reps. They're easy to read and don't require me to explain in depth to each person I share them with.

**What do you dislike about Synup?**

I occasionally have issues hearing back from my contact within a reasonable amount of time. Whether it's because she's waiting on the IT team or not, but waiting over a month for a resolution isn't my favorite. I occasionally have issues with connecting Synup to Google My Business listings that are for Service Area Businesses. Whenever I have this issue, I email my contact and sometimes I'll have to email her repeatedly week after week before I hear back from her. A lot of the time, her response is "I'm still waiting on the IT/support team". This is extremely frustrating as a client.
Side note, I would also love it if for the reporting sections we could choose a 'compare to' date.

**Recommendations to others considering Synup:**

Synup is awesome for updating multiple directories at one time. I don't have to worry about it not syncing or any issues like that. This software has saved me so much time that I've been able to spend with my clients.

**What problems is Synup solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The reporting section for profile analytics and ranking analytics have solved my issue with reporting for GMBs.
I've realized how beneficial it is to see year over year. The ability to change dates so easy is awesome.

 ### 10. The Platform is all you need for all your business listings

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zo S. | Digital Content Supervisor, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 24, 2020

**What do you like best about Synup?**

The ease of use, the UX and UI on the platform

**What do you dislike about Synup?**

Nothing, I am very satisfied with the platform.

**Recommendations to others considering Synup:**

The platform is a great tool for keeping your business locations up to date and accurate, the account managers are very responsive and go above and beyond to meet all your business needs. Synup uses API integrations with business location platforms and updates are visible within minutes.

**What problems is Synup solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping our Google hours up to date and business location information for customers to ensure accuracy. Review generation and instant updates to business locations.

 ### 11. They never cancel the subscription, charging unnecessary

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 01, 2020

**What do you like best about Synup?**

Nothing as such, its good for nothing. Not recommended

**What do you dislike about Synup?**

Subscription model, they charge on the basis of contract. After continuous conversation, they also mention if you cancel the subscription or not pay they will sue you. Also today September they have charged again its whole 12 months completed and we have paid synup $900 Till date and today its $975. They actually fraud, they not respects clients money.

**Recommendations to others considering Synup:**

May be synup could be could but its of no use if not used so why to pay for which is of no use, we tried lot many time asking to cancel our contract and subscription but they are not replying nor giving our money back. Its looks scam they are doing just trying to the clients and making a contract signed and looting them.

**What problems is Synup solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Subscription cancel, Tried many times sending them mails to cancel the subscription but they are ignoring our mails. In starting when they want have close the deal they tried connecting in many ways but after deal completed they dont answer and they are not canceling my subscription.

**What do you like best about Synup?**

Lower monthly minimums. Analytics report for GMB is easy to present to clients.

It's easier to manage a multi-location business in Yext. The Synup tool for posting GMB updates is best for one location businesses.

**What problems is Synup solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lower budget clients can easily get started in Synup.

 ### 14. Solution for local search

It is really the most affordable listing management service I could find

**What problems is Synup solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am helping other businesses with their local search and publish them to many listings easily

 ### 15. We've been with Synup for a few years and have seen the platform grow.

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 04, 2020

**What do you like best about Synup?**

It's been a good fit for our clients and have provided us an opportunity to enhance our agency's services.

**What do you dislike about Synup?**

There are still quirks to the platform that would helpful if allowed. Creating multiple accounts and getting more directories added have been an issue over the years.

**Recommendations to others considering Synup:**

More direct contact with a support team on how to consistently enhance listings and/or updates to ensure client success.

**What problems is Synup solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We've been able to enhance what our agency does for clients, and have been able to modify the areas of service necessary to maintain accurate online accounts for each client.

Good it's one interface

 ### 18. Good Platform for Directory Listings

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 07, 2020

**What do you like best about Synup?**

Inexpensive way of getting local listings created across the web.

**What do you dislike about Synup?**

No training on how to use the platform, no instructions on how to use it.

**Recommendations to others considering Synup:**

Great platform If you know how to use directory listings especially for the price. Things like integrations or API's for the local SEO tool take some technical knowledge and since they are used to working with agency, its not for beginners.

**What problems is Synup solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having an aggregator to submit directory listings automatically to websites. Saves us time from manually submitting to each of the 70 different directories they offer.

**Official Response from Jessica Gondolfo:**

> Hello! Thank you for leaving us a review!

I wanted to reach out because I saw you might need a little assistance with onboarding / using the platform. I reached out to my team and let them know. Send an email support@synup.com and they will assist you right away! We want to make sure that you are successful using our platform and getting all the benefits. :)

 ### 19. Simple & Effective

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Keith B. | Your Marketing Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 30, 2020

**What do you like best about Synup?**

Interface is easy to understand and navigate.

**What do you dislike about Synup?**

There is nothing about Synup that I dislike.

**Recommendations to others considering Synup:**

Synup is not complicated but does exactly what it is supposed to do.

**What problems is Synup solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I had a client with directory listings under 20% accurate. After just one month as a Synup location that client was registering over 50% accurate.

 ### 20. Excellent system and customer support to match

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zach G. | Trustee, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2020

**What do you like best about Synup?**

I am thoroughly impressed with my journey with Synup so far. The customer service is extremely friendly, efficient and flexible; the onboarding process is effortless. The easy-to-use software has incredible functionality with business listing synchronisation and review generation technology being among the key features. The review generation system alone is fantastic! I have onboarded several clients onto the platform so far; they have all commented how they have long wished for a system like this. And as an agency owner, I can say the same myself - it has improved our relationships with our clients and helped us to add much more value to their experience. I cannot recommend Syup enough.

**What do you dislike about Synup?**

Nothing worthy of note. There were a few teething problems to begin with but these were soon handled with the utmost professionalism and efficiency by the Synup customer support team. Every member of the Synup team that I have deal with has been incredibly professional, friendly, supportive and knowledgable. It is clear that the company values its clients very highly - from the top down!

**Recommendations to others considering Synup:**

Synup makes it so easy to add measurable value to your customers' experience. It is a innovative platform run by a forward-thinking organisation

**What problems is Synup solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Getting information 'out there' in different places on the web. Also, gathering reviews - it is a fantastic system! Furthermore, the transparency with the effectiveness of the Synup platform in achieving the clients' objectives is a brilliant feature. This level of transparency helps to build further trust and validation from clients. They are now recommending the platform to their associates and contacts too!

 ### 21. Great Solution for Listing Management

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gloria B. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 06, 2020

**What do you like best about Synup?**

I really like the user friendly platform.

**What do you dislike about Synup?**

I do not like that the listing information takes a lot of time to upload to different sites. Also, when we label store as closed it takes a significantly long time in order for that to reflect and we still have to go to each listing and mark the location permanently closed.

**Recommendations to others considering Synup:**

N/A

**What problems is Synup solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Listing management such as keeping all our information updated across all listing sites.

 ### 22. Easy way to update NPO on local directories

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marlena S. | Head of Digital Marketing, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 03, 2020

**What do you like best about Synup?**

Synup has a very easy user interface. We have a company with many different locations and it is very easy to update individual information for locations. Synup makes the updates very quickly. Using Synup is much better than individually updating Google My Business, Facebook, Yelp, and other local listings. The ability to update using an excel of all of our locations is very helpful.

**What do you dislike about Synup?**

We have found we need to do quality checks on the updates. It would be better if we were alerted if there are duplicate listings. Synup also does not connect to all of Facebook's fields and we would like to be able to update those at the same time as well.

**Recommendations to others considering Synup:**

Synup has a very easy user interface. We are also able to upload an excel so we can upload all locations at once and that is very helpful.

**What problems is Synup solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have locations that update hours frequently. Synup allows us to update all local directories at once and that is a huge help. We have also solved the problem of time dedicated to updating Name, Phone Number, and Address across all of our locations. Before Synup it was very hard to update all the locations and it was very time consuming.

 ### 23. Quality Platform on the Up and Up

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2020

**What do you like best about Synup?**

Synup has a terrific product with awesome momentum. Their team is understanding and listens to feature requests to help grow the platform and make it more beneficial for clients. The user interface is far beyond competitors and can't wait to see what else is coming.

**What do you dislike about Synup?**

Sometimes the permissions seem a bit restricted and the review generation side could receive a bit of adjusting to be more user friendly but so far our feedback has felt welcomed.

**Recommendations to others considering Synup:**

Make sure to understand all the features you'll need during your demo to ensure a smooth implementation. Don't be afraid to request new features.

**What problems is Synup solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have saved money by consolidating two separate platforms and also have increased our client retention by allowing them to access reporting more directly for the services.

 ### 24. New Synup Customer

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Syd K. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2020

**What do you like best about Synup?**

I like the ability to reply to reviews all in one place, manage directory listings in one place, the white label reports.

**What do you dislike about Synup?**

The review stream and review acquisition needs some work

**What problems is Synup solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I think it's going to make my workload less by streamlining our services

 ### 25. Straightforward Product

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 26, 2019

**What do you like best about Synup?**

Customer service is great. They are very responsive when I have questions. I like that the system just focuses on the most important stuff as it is less overwhelming for my clients than other systems.

**What do you dislike about Synup?**

I wish you could suppress false reviews like you can on Birdeye. There is such an issue with people from other countries leaving negative reviews that have never done business with my clients.

**Recommendations to others considering Synup:**

Seems to be a great service so far I am really happy with it. Customer support has been great. You can tell it is a new company though and they still have some tweaks to make, but they are all pretty minor.

**What problems is Synup solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This all in one listing and reputation is much more cost effective than others we have seen. The fact you can't do as much with it is both a benefit and not. It is extremely easy for the users to use, but I still seem to need access to their GMB accounts to go in there and do some things too. Pairing with our on-page seo services makes it a more cost effective way to offer a more complete seo package. Also, we can sell to people who aren't existing clients, which we have never done before.

 ### 26. I can not recommend a service that owns your citations. YOU do not own them

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2020

**What do you like best about Synup?**

Integration with Google My Business setup

**What do you dislike about Synup?**

I can not recommend a service that owns your citations. They do not disclose this upfront. When you try to cancel based on this information - they enforce their ONE YEAR agreement. They must do this because they have unsatisfied custmers

They are not helpful - I would use a local service that lets you own your citations and is month to month.

**Recommendations to others considering Synup:**

Take a look at BrightLocal.com UK based - month-to-month (no-contract) and you own the listings and are not held, hostage

**What problems is Synup solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Trying to sell local SEO services to clients. Synup got me started - then we discovered the fact they own the citations, not the clients.

 ### 27. I've had a great experience so far, but my company only just signed on to the partnership!

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 14, 2020

**What do you like best about Synup?**

So far, everyone has been so helpful in onboarding my team and the platform looks very cohesive and user friendly.

**What do you dislike about Synup?**

I don't dislike anything thus far! TBD on if that changes.

**Recommendations to others considering Synup:**

n/a

**What problems is Synup solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Streamlining all of our business listings and automating how to update them. Managing reputation management.

 ### 28. Excellent tool for SEO Agencies

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matt D. | Director and Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 03, 2020

**What do you like best about Synup?**

Synup is an extremely easy tool to set up and start getting some quick ROI. Our clients enjoy the straight-forward dashboard where they can get a birds-eye view of the strategy we're going to implement for them. The review management system is superb. Lastly, customer service is excellent.

**What do you dislike about Synup?**

There's really nothing to dislike. Everything is easy about the tool, and if there's anything challenging, customer service corrects it.

**Recommendations to others considering Synup:**

Don't be afraid to contact support with questions. They've extremely helpful.

**What problems is Synup solving and how is that benefiting you?**

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about Synup?**

There is absolutely Nothing about this platform that is good!

**What do you dislike about Synup?**

BUYER BEWARE:
My agency signed up for the synup platform. Tried to cancel 5 different times, then they slap me with a cancellation penalty of $300. This system never worked and ever did anything for any business I ever put in their platform. It is a very generic platform that does absolutely nothing for your business. Please do your research before getting ripped off by this company.

**Recommendations to others considering Synup:**

no way. the worst ever. Customer service is horrible, the program is horrible. Much better solutions........................................................

 ### 35. A must-have to improve digital presence for any local business

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel W. | Director Of Business Development, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 13, 2019

**What do you like best about Synup?**

Aggregating reviews from different websites into one dashboard. This makes it easier to read, respond, and manage reviews.

**What do you dislike about Synup?**

You still have to create your own content, but I have heard that they are working on launching AI and machine learning, which will include content suggestions. This will be a big help, as most businesses struggle with creating the right content!

**What problems is Synup solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The quickest fix was launching company info (name, address, number, office hours, etc.) onto several listings, which is a first step to having accurate company information on the web. Natural results from this are improvements in local SEO ranking, more storefront traffic, and simply a more professional digital presence across the web.

 ### 36. Synup is a great tool for creating local listings and reputation management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 05, 2020

**What do you like best about Synup?**

The best thing about Synup is the ease of features- It's incredibly user friendly!

**What do you dislike about Synup?**

The price of Synup can be high per location, but this can be rectified by adding multiple locations in bulk.

**Recommendations to others considering Synup:**

If you'd like a tool that distributes listings for local seo or handles reputation management, Synup is the right choice!

**What problems is Synup solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're solving problems by being able to handle clients' reputation management, gathering new reviews, and being notified any time a new review comes in so it can be responded to.

 ### 37. Easy setup and administration from the start

**What do you dislike about Synup?**

We have had no negatives to date. Synup is easy to implement.

**Recommendations to others considering Synup:**

Simpler and more complete than YEXT without being trapped in continuing service.

**What problems is Synup solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Synup was an alternative to YEXT and represented a more permanent way to control our listings without the demand for ongoing subscription.

**What do you dislike about Synup?**

I'm very new to the platform, so nothing yet

**What problems is Synup solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I like the mass review option as well as not manually having to do many of the things I've been doing the last year in business. It's saving me alot of time.

 ### 39. The easiest tool to use for managing your SEO Agency

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel L. | Serial Entrepreneur, Business Consultant & Online Systems Integration Specialist, Internet, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 06, 2019

**What do you like best about Synup?**

The customer service is outstanding, and they say their relationship with their clients is more important than the money. I can testify to that. They have gone above and beyond to assist and ensure that we have what we need in order to effectively use their platform. I love how simple it is to set up a business on Synup and how simple it is to manage the reviews and updates. The lead generation tool is a great way to grow your business and it is a very effective 'sales' demonstration for a prospects lack of listing citations.

**What do you dislike about Synup?**

There isn't anything that I could say I dislike about the program. They have supplied an API with documentation that is very helpful and given us everything we need including reporting & white label. What's more to ask for?

**Recommendations to others considering Synup:**

It's a very easy tool to use, with great customer support.

**What problems is Synup solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are assisting our clients by managing their listing citations and their customer reviews. Giving our clients a comprehensive report about how their business ranks on certain keywords and keeping their local SEO in check is a great asset to our operations.

 ### 40. A great addition to our SEO product suite

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dante S. | Digital Media Consultant, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 28, 2019

**What do you like best about Synup?**

Synup has been a really good toll for us to add to our SEO product set, specifically the ability to be more transparent and give clients a view of what we are doing to improve their ranking. . The ability to tie in comments and reviews from both your Google My Business and Facebook pages is immensely helpful for clients who prefer a single dashboard to view their digital business from.

**What do you dislike about Synup?**

The only weakness I've noticed is that the Google ranking results don't seem to show what we're seeing locally or even when we are spoofing our location from elsewhere. For example, our listing on Google can be showing at #3 when we search from multiple locations, accounts and in incognito mode, but will show as no ranking at all in the Synup charts. I understand that there are potentially thousands of factors involved in working with Google, so it's not a complaint, but if this part of the tool can't be relied upon for ranking information, then it may be better not to have it.

**Recommendations to others considering Synup:**

Just be sure that the domain authority of the places you are planning to list your business with is ok. You can specify which ones to list with and which ones to not. Perhaps just run a Moz Backlinks check on each before you select them.

**What problems is Synup solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Needing a tool for clients to monitor their reputation was important, as well as having a place to tie in all their listings with one set of information.

 ### 41. Prompt, Permanent Citation Management

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dennis F. | Digital Marketing Specialist for SMBs, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 27, 2019

**What do you like best about Synup?**

Quick update to its featured links is one of Synup's top features. The permanent, persistent nature of Synup's NAP changes is the outstanding feature that drew me to try it.

**What do you dislike about Synup?**

1.) Having such a limited number of citations available (approximately 76) is a hindrance for my agency. My clients typically are in urban, competitive markets (i.e. Dallas-Ft Worth; Houston; Memphis) that require 150 citations at a minimum, and up to 400 to achieve proper results. The limited number of 'Featured' or 'Premium' citations managed by Synup mandates that I maintain a BrightLocal subscription

2.) Synup's lack of tools to examine competitors' citation profiles is a notable limitation. In practice it means I will have to continue subscribing to BrightLocal for their analysis and reporting tools.

**What problems is Synup solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Synup's method of making permanent changes to client NAPs removes a serious worry about degradation of citation profiles over time - an existential threat to any agency.

 ### 42. Easy to use and gets results

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Allie M. | Co-founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 26, 2019

**What do you like best about Synup?**

I like the easy to use interface. I can make changes and review results with ease. I also like getting email alerts for new reviews. The review generation is pretty handy as well.

**What do you dislike about Synup?**

I would like a small standing discount for agencies that have say less than 25 or 50 locations. Like $27/mo for new locations instead of $30/mo.

**Recommendations to others considering Synup:**

It is easy to add new locations so if you are hesitant try it with only a couple of your locations. Make sure to take advantage of all features and set up a tracking link and call tracking number to get the best possible traffic and lead data.

**What problems is Synup solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is great for boosting local search traffic and qualified leads to clients.

 ### 43. Simple to use in all aspects

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Melina H. | Operations Coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 27, 2019

**What do you like best about Synup?**

Our company uses Synup for a number of our clients and it has been very easy to use. The process of adding new locations is straightforward and when any difficulty occurs, support has been very helpful. The dashboard has a clean look and everything is very accessible.

**What do you dislike about Synup?**

There isn't anything that we really dislike. The only thing may be the time that it takes to link to google business, yelp, etc... but it has not really been an issue.

**Recommendations to others considering Synup:**

Great program.

**What problems is Synup solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's a great program to be able to look at all of our clients at a glance and track reputation management.

 ### 44. Low quality product and terrible customer service and liars

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cole T. | CEO, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 10, 2019

**What do you like best about Synup?**

Nothing really. It will put you on some directories. Got a pitch and decided to try it out just to assess. Everyone else I've found in the market is better though. Leaving this review because of their cancellation practices.

**What do you dislike about Synup?**

First, most of the directories they submit you to are worthless. They don't submit you to any of the 4 major data platforms. They lied on the pitch that they have a list of hundreds of other directories that they monitor and track while you manually submit information. Thought this could be useful for businesses with a lower budget that can take some time here and there to manually build citations. After purchasing you see that this is not true and you have to purchase the listings. Would rather just use BrightLocal or WhiteSpark. Most of the stuff listed on those additional listing were useless directories anyways.

The biggest issue is their cancellation process. I was pitched that this was month to month and to cancel anytime. This is a lie. There is nowhere to cancel in the account. You have to send a request for it to be cancelled. I've seen this before so that alone is not too bad. I waited and got a response that they are not cancelling but want to talk to me about why I want to cancel. I HATE THIS TYPE OF BUSINESS PRACTICE. It is pathetic and desperate. I told them if they cancel I'll discuss but I want my account closed and confirmation my credit card will not be charged again. I got no response. I called in and the person I talked to said he was powerless to do anything. He told me this was the company policy for cancellations:
1.) You request the cancellation
2.) A person from the account team talks to you about why you want to cancel
3.) The person from the account team REQUESTS that the finance team no charge you anymore

I was pitched on a cancel anytime service. Its pathetic that they make me go through multiple steps to cancel and then essentially beg that their financial team doesn't charge. Will be telling everyone about this. DO NOT USE.

Also, marked yes as current user just because they still haven't cancelled my account.

**Recommendations to others considering Synup:**

If you're looking to save money use Moz Local. This is not the right choice,

**What problems is Synup solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Was looking to test it out as a listing and reputation management tool for low budget companies. I have realized no real benefit that separates them from competitors. If you want to go low budget just use Moz Local.

**Official Response from Ashwin Ramesh:**

> Cole,

We appreciate your feedback and are constantly improving our software to better meet our customer needs and market realities.

To address specific concerns you laid out here:

- We have our own internal algorithm to identify the value of the publishers that we distribute our content to. We are currently integrated with Google, Bing, Apple & Facebook who control 90% of search traffic combined in most industries
- We have made significant improvements to our cancellation process in the past few months and are committed to providing timely refunds in case there is fault on our end.

Again, I apologize that you had a bad experience with us and hope you provide us with another opportunity.

 ### 45. Great product! Essential for my business!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adam B. | Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 05, 2019

**What do you like best about Synup?**

Very helpful staff. Easy to work with product. They keep adding things to the service that makes the product even better.

**What do you dislike about Synup?**

Nothing to really dislike, they solve issues quickly. They have continued to add to their product so it's hard not to like the product when it keeps getting better.

**Recommendations to others considering Synup:**

Just try it out.

**What problems is Synup solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Review Generation platform is great. I have increased my SEO ranking and love having all of my reviews put into one place so that I can respond quickly to them.

 ### 46. Easy set up. Fair price.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** janaura b. | digital marketing manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 26, 2019

**What do you like best about Synup?**

Easy to set up and reports we can share with clients. Price is better than alternatives.

**What do you dislike about Synup?**

No complaints. Some platforms need to be linked and authorized separately but thats not Synup's fault or in their control.

**Recommendations to others considering Synup:**

Authentic data is updated. not an overlay that goes away if you ever cancel. Not that we would; but I feel better knowing Synup is continually earning our business rather than hijacking client info like some others in the industry.

**What problems is Synup solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quickly and easily updating NAPI for clients

 ### 47. Huge mistake please please keep looking

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brad H. | account manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 27, 2018

**What do you like best about Synup?**

Honestly nothing all of there tools were very innefective to use, they did nothing more than change on my home screen.

**What do you dislike about Synup?**

Lets start with the platform its a boring Dashboard that does nothing more than the initial set-up, i paid for this service for a year in advance and not only did they bill our account in the middle of our contract for no reason they took 4 months to resolve the financial issue that they caused, alongside of that i had tremendous issues with customer service up until month 3 when I had to make several threats to get our money back. needless to say in the midst of this I let them know that I would not be staying with them as my contract ended, and guess what they did? Yep, charged me again the week before they returned my money to me that was taken 4 months prior. I can assure you this company does not have their head on a swivel, I am only writing this to help save someone else a headache.

**Recommendations to others considering Synup:**

Search elsewhere, do not try to save a dollar by choosing them, it will cost you 10

**What problems is Synup solving and how is that benefiting you?**

reputation managemnet, and local SEO where my main reasons for utilizing synup

**Official Response from Ashwin Ramesh:**

> Brad,

I'm sorry to hear that you had a bad experience with Synup.

We have made changes to our billing process recently to provide timely refunds for customers. Our user interface continues to evolve along with our quality of service and the publisher network.

I hope that you provide us another opportunity to win your business and I'm confident that we will provide true business value.

 ### 48. Must Have Agency Software

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kyle N. | President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 26, 2019

**What do you like best about Synup?**

Every new client we sign, is entered into Synup. We primarily use Synup along with posting software to manage our agency.

**What do you dislike about Synup?**

I would like Synup develop a more visually appealing insights report from Google My Business.

**Recommendations to others considering Synup:**

Don't wait. This is an affordable platform to manage 1 or 100 locations. I have no idea how other reviewers rate this below a 4 out of 5 stars.

**What problems is Synup solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing reviews, gathering reviews, citation building, and reporting. Benefits of customer retention, dashboard management and time savings.

 ### 49. Awesome Service, Great Product

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joel S. | Internet Marketing Specialist, Legal Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 28, 2019

**What do you like best about Synup?**

Easy to use, simple to learn, very effective. This dashboard has it all, and works great.

**What do you dislike about Synup?**

Review notifications seem to be a bit delayed. Google My Business app and Facebook and Yelp app all deliver review notifications instantly. This dashboard seems to be a day or so behind.

**What problems is Synup solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Wanted to manage all listings in one location. The review generation tool has proved to be very helpful.

 ### 50. Very good service for anyone wanting to keep track of online directories for a business

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mike S. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2019

**What do you like best about Synup?**

The service provides a portal where we can look at all of our directory listings in one place, look at all reviews and respond from one central portal.

**What do you dislike about Synup?**

The dashboard is a little confusing and sometimes hard to find what you are looking for. Plus some online tutorial videos would be helpful

**What problems is Synup solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to offer clients a white label solution for signing in and viewing results
