The ability to sync across a large number of directories saves a lot of manual effort when creating local listings. In theory, the ability to push out other API information such as scheduled posts, amenity features, photos, etc. is a good feature as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. A lot of the capabilities that would be the most useful tend to not work or work in glitchy ways that end up wasting a lot of time troubleshooting instead of saving time by allowing work to be pushed out at scale. Recommendations to others considering Synup: There are definitely perks of using this tool, but don't become too reliant on it. The ability to sync across numerous directories saves some manual effort when updating details in local listings. The ability to see all of your company's Google reviews and respond to them in one place makes things quicker to attend to and complete. The ability to download reporting is a nice feature as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Synup? We were very disappointed in the lack of proactive customer service we received. We did not have regular meetings with our representative, and through the years we were with Synup, I believe we had 3 different representatives due to turnover in their company. Our most recent representative was helpful, but we still did not feel that we were really ever being checked in on or reached out to proactively for meetings or follow-up to make sure we had everything we needed. We also felt as though maybe we weren't a big enough client to be prioritized for these types of things. Even after our customer care representative walked us through some features we were unaware that we had access to, there was still quite a bit of manual entry that needed to be done, which is hard for a small team like ours and made it feel as though we weren't getting enough value out of the product. Customer service was great, very timely responses. Very easy to make quick updates and the tagging sytem is nice for stayling organized with multiple business channels. They make updates often and have all the solid connections you would want. The duplicate check is also a great tool to cut down on listings. Also the ability to download reporting is nice. I also wish they sent through reputation alerts for when GMB scores increase/decrease to help allow us to respond in real-time. Still trying to figure out the new recipes feature. At first, Synup seems to have all the features necessary for a local SEO tool. It is very convenient to submit all your listings via API. For example, I paid for additional listings and they were not submitted for months until I checked and reached out to support. Additionally, the review request feature is half-baked, the people I've sent review requests had trouble writing the reviews.
