**What do you like best about ScalePad Lifecycle Manager?**

I like having a single pane of glass for my advisors. It gives them one place to quickly understand the client's environment, demonstrate the ongoing value of the services we're providing, and identify strategic opportunities.

It also significantly reduces the time required to prepare for and create a client QBR, allowing our advisors to spend more time delivering meaningful recommendations instead of gathering data from multiple systems.

**What do you dislike about ScalePad Lifecycle Manager?**

At this stage, I don't have any significant dislikes. I'm still relatively new to ScalePad Lifecycle Manager and am in the process of implementing it across our Advisory organization, so I'm focused on learning the platform and establishing our workflows.

**What problems is ScalePad Lifecycle Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ScalePad Lifecycle Manager is helping us deliver Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) much more efficiently by bringing client data, roadmaps, assessments, and technology insights into a single platform. It also gives us valuable year-over-year comparisons, making it easier to demonstrate progress and the business value we're delivering to our clients.

Another major benefit is ScalePad Copilot, which simplifies transitioning client roadmaps into the platform and reduces the manual effort required to onboard accounts. Overall, having a true end-to-end Advisory platform enables our advisors to spend less time preparing and more time providing strategic guidance to clients.

**What do you like best about ScalePad Lifecycle Manager?**

ultimatly its a communications tool with my customers so they visualize the value we bring to their organization. hardware lifecyle reporting is the center of it and something it does the best. The integrations with our RMM, and other tools to automatically generate hardware reports is a huge productivity boost.

**What do you dislike about ScalePad Lifecycle Manager?**

it has a few features that don't actually contribute towards the goal of presenting progress to a client. It has trouble with workflow as features have been added over time. you can tell the developers don't actually present to customers. possibly more importantly, it doesn't do a great job outputting reports for managers overseeing team activity. it expects the MSP to be small and users to be self accountable. however the development team are very responsive and respond to feedback quickly.

it really does a great job creating repeatable budget roadmaps for clients. planning client spending is what it does best.

What I like best about ScalePad Lifecycle Manager is how it provides a clear, data-driven view of a client’s entire IT environment. It makes it easy to identify risks such as ageing or end-of-life assets, and translate that information into structured, actionable roadmaps.
From a vCIO perspective, it’s particularly valuable because it bridges the gap between technical detail and business outcomes. It allows us to have more meaningful conversations with clients by linking their infrastructure to lifecycle planning, budgeting, and risk management.
Additionally, the ability to standardise reporting and track initiatives over time helps ensure consistency across accounts, while also supporting proactive planning rather than reactive support.

**What do you dislike about ScalePad Lifecycle Manager?**

Not a major dislike, i would love some more control over the look of Deliverables from a PDF level. Apart from that, nothing.

It helps us solve key challenges around visibility, consistency, and proactive planning. It gives us a single source of truth for client environments, highlights lifecycle risks early, and turns technical data into clear roadmaps, budgets, and initiatives.

**What do you like best about ScalePad Lifecycle Manager?**

The biggest value for us is the automated, client-facing reports. We send them out every month, and they consistently drive the right behavior: clients clearly understand what needs to be replaced and when, without us having to force the conversation each time. It turns hardware lifecycle management from a reactive issue into a proactive planning process.

**What do you dislike about ScalePad Lifecycle Manager?**

I honestly don’t dislike anything about it. The only issue I run into from time to time is confusion around the column labeled “Expires.” Since it refers to the manufacturer’s warranty, some clients assume it’s tied to our support for the equipment, which can lead to misunderstandings.

**What problems is ScalePad Lifecycle Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

From an MSP perspective, it’s also helped strengthen our strategic conversations. Rather than getting stuck on one-off upgrades, we can guide clients with a clear, data-driven roadmap to keep their environment current and secure, and to plan next steps with more confidence.

Lifecycle Manager gives our CSMs a centralized place to manage client lifecycle activities and have more strategic conversations. The roadmap, recommendations, and budgeting features make it much easier to identify opportunities and show clients the value of future investments.

**What do you dislike about ScalePad Lifecycle Manager?**

I'd like to see more flexibility and customization throughout the platform. There are a few workflows that feel rigid, and having more options to tailor fields, views, and reporting to different organizations would make it even more valuable.

**What problems is ScalePad Lifecycle Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before implementing Lifecycle Manager, client technology planning and QBR discussions were much more manual and inconsistent. Now our CSMs have a centralized place to track assets, build roadmaps, create budgets, and present technology recommendations. This has made client conversations more strategic, improved consistency across the team, and made it easier to identify and communicate long-term opportunities instead of only reacting to support issues.

LMX helps us collaborate with our clients by making it easier to visualize their needs, plan effectively, and budget accordingly.

**What do you dislike about ScalePad Lifecycle Manager?**

I feel like LMX was developed and pushed into “live mode” very quickly. There are still some bugs and enhancements that need to be fixed and completed. It would have been nice to pause the launch and have a few clients test the platform before releasing it to everyone.

It’s wonderful that we can view all of our clients’ needs in one place. It makes it easy when having our meetings with our clients to show them their assets, where they are in their lifecycle, the path and plan to get projects completed and what they will need to budget for.  The roadmap makes it easy to visualize and edit to fit the client specifically.

I really like the integration and the interface. It’s straightforward to navigate, and it’s easy to figure out exactly where to go to do the things I need to do.

**What do you dislike about ScalePad Lifecycle Manager?**

It doesn’t support two-way sync with the Outlook calendar. It also doesn’t let you attach items to an existing ConnectWise ticket (even though it can do this for opportunities). And you can’t email clients directly from LMX, which would be really helpful.  Also, when I update hardware, the changes sometimes don't take affect.  And when they do I have to refresh the screen and during refresh, it re-sorts all of the assets.

It is helping me keep track of customers and their ongoing needs.  It's a really great "single pane of glass."  I don't have to spend a lot of time in other applications.

The automated warranty lookups and EOL tracking across all clients saves a ton of time, and it makes hardware refresh conversations way easier, you can show clients exactly what's aging out and why it matters without digging through spreadsheets.

The analytics customization is a bit limited. You're mostly working within their templates. Would love more flexibility to tailor outputs to match how we present things to clients.

Keeping track of device age, warranty status, and EOL dates across a large client base used to be a manual, error-prone process. Lifecycle Manager centralizes all of that so we can proactively flag aging hardware before it becomes a support problem, which helps with client retention and makes renewal conversations a lot smoother.

The global and client insights are fantastic. Important information is readily available and helps you prepare for business reviews and focus on priorities, risks and low hanging opps. Also, the amount of text/content you can populate within each roadmap initiative is great.

**What do you dislike about ScalePad Lifecycle Manager?**

We want to give console (read-only) access to our sales team so they can see our activities but we're able to at the moment. However, there is a feature update scheduled to be released next month that will allow us to do so. Looking forward to this update.

Customer interaction, easy upsells once you've established a strategy, budget in a more proactive manner. Credibility is instantly demonstrated when presenting our findings using this tool.

**What do you like best about ScalePad Lifecycle Manager?**

The thing I like the most is how well it gathers all the information from a variety of sources and puts it all together to paint a clear picture for the client. I'm able to speak to clients with authority on a variety of strategic subjects without having to spend enormous amounts of time collecting and parsing through data. It keeps everything up to date and helps to ensure we are working in the same direction with our clients. It gave us a complete view of our client environments that we didn't have before, which helps us engage clients with a much more knowledgeable and proactive style. One specific moment was a client with a large number of outdated workstations who didn't understand the scope of the issue. With all those assets easily loaded into Lifecycle Manager, we were able to visually see the size of the problem and how it would affect their budget in upcoming years, and we worked with their executive team to create a strategic plan to spread out hardware purchasing and build a long term refresh cycle. The setup was fairly easy, even though it's a vast program. This has become the primary tool our Customer Success team uses for our clients. It has been phenomenal for our client base and even better for our company as a whole. We've used it to help generate both project and recurring revenue while assisting our clients to manage their environments. It is an excellent product.

**What do you dislike about ScalePad Lifecycle Manager?**

Currently, I have difficulty giving clients direct access to the information within the portal.  I would love a client-facing portal so my clients could see their own information and manipulate reporting, but the product doesn't provide that.  As it stands currently, everything must be done through me to provide the information the clients need.  Clients can't edit a few minor things themselves, like 3rd party contracts.  I had some challenges with the initial setup because ScalePad Lifecycle Manager is such a vast program.  The setup challenges involved integrating the different data sources and making sure the data was useful.  There are some specific cases where we still collect data in Excel spreadsheets.

Before, we didn't have a complete view of our client environments. ScalePad Lifecycle Manager pulls info from different sources into one picture, so I can speak to clients with authority on strategic subjects without spending huge amounts of time collecting data. It helps us engage clients more proactively.

I really appreciate how ScalePad Lifecycle Manager has improved our client meetings and goal tracking, making it easier to track our deliverables. The integrations, both completed and in progress, are exciting and seem to be game changers for us. I am very pleased with the product and its future plans. The product brings in data from our current tools, providing reporting in a single pane of glass, which adds value not just to our TAMs and vCIO roles but also for our Service Delivery Manager, who can compare ticket performance to recurring issues. I like how the goals, initiatives, and deliverables deliver a clear path forward for our customers. They love seeing their budgeting in a graphical display and understanding their security posture and improvements being made. **What do you like best about ScalePad Lifecycle Manager?**

ScalePad Lifecycle Manager is a fantastic place to keep all customer-related QBR/EBR information in one central location. As an Account Manager, I need to have meeting notes, QBR/EBR reports, goals, initiatives, roadmaps, hardware and software inventory, agreements, and budget numbers all together so I can run effective business reviews. The app makes it easy to move between different sections, and its performance is always rock solid. It also includes a lot of built-in integrations, including PSA, RMM, M365, and Document Management systems, with more being developed on a regular basis. The pricing is straightforward with no surprises. The Support team generally responds within one day, and my CSM is always available for account-related questions.

I'm looking forward to ScalePad's new Model Context Protocol (MCP) server to add even more AI integration into the platform.

Overall, the time it took to gather info for a QBR/EBR and generate the report has dropped from hours to minutes.

**What do you dislike about ScalePad Lifecycle Manager?**

There's not much to dislike ScalePad Lifecycle Manager. I've used it since it was WarrantyMaster and it's never let me down. It's not an inexpensive solution, especially once the LMX add-on feature is turned on for all clients. But, if it allows you to preserve relationships with clients and possibly generate projects out of your QBRs/EBRs, you'll come out money ahead!

They say acquiring a new client costs 5 to 25 times more than retaining an existing one, so client retention is extremely important and can be significantly more profitable. ScalePad Lifecycle Manager helps us gather and present the relevant information that business owners and decision-makers want to see, in a way that supports better conversations. Regular business reviews are necessary to stay relevant with the client and to reinforce and strengthen the IT partnership over time. ScalePad Lifecycle Manager provides the tools we need to generate these reports properly and consistently.

I really like ScalePad Lifecycle Manager for its integrations. It works seamlessly with a variety of tools like ConnectWise, ticketing systems, and Microsoft 365, making it a one-stop shop for prospecting and account management once we win the customer over. The ability to integrate with multiple systems allows us to capture all the necessary data in one place, which means our Technical Account Managers and post-sales team can efficiently manage the customer relationship. Additionally, the product is more intuitive and comprehensive compared to others we've used, which has made it easier to use. Our initial setup was very easy, and our account manager was amazing in making that happen. I also appreciate the assessments, recommendations, and account reviews it offers as they ensure the happiness of our customers. Overall, everything works great for us.

I use ScalePad Lifecycle Manager as a QBR tool with our account managers, and it lets us move from reactive account management to being strategic with our customers. The assessments are a great way to highlight the risk for our clients, and we turn this into an outcome focused roadmap so account managers can attend QBRs with focus points backed by data instead of a scatter gun approach. With the key integrations, it also lets us show customers the value of the products they're buying where they had no visibility before. What I like most is the way the platform is always being invested in, so each time the teams complete QBRs there's something new to show or discuss. The Assessment is great, it's simple and highlights the risk for clients. The most valuable tool on the platform for me is the deliverables report, it's so customisable and brings all the good areas of the platform together in a simple form, but also in a way the account manager can tailor it for each customer. Being able to send it via a link is great too. The initial setup was really easy, the hardest part wasn't the platform, it was the assessment we built which took time and the wider team to feed into. We integrate it with ConnectWise, Huntress, KnowBe4, and Datto RMM. We were using PowerPoints before, which were heavily manual and reactive and didn't forward think or bring in stats from the customer's existing products. We looked at a few other products but nothing was in the same league as ScalePad's offering at the time.

I know it's being looked at for a push into ConnectWise, but once created it cannot pull, which is a concern as it won't be useful until it's push and pull.","We lack an MCP that natively works with Copilot; each command has to be learnt or added as a skill so queries can be sent in natural language.","Naming limitations are creating an issue. Name links work great, but some integrations, if a match isn't found, don't create an entity we can link. I can create amazing hardware reports with the click of a button, and it has helped our team streamline assessments and conversations with our clients. The Lifecycle reports are easy for our clients to use. The assessments are very helpful for our team to have the same conversations and give us a place to track all the information from our meetings to help clients with long-term planning. Using a Lifecycle report really helped us have a conversation around network and device upgrades. It included all the info needed to easily discuss a plan for replacements. It was an easy way to show ages and discuss options for replacements based on ages. When the client saw the purchase dates, it helped show them the real age of the devices and helped them decide what to replace first. They are great at adding integrations all the time. It takes almost no time at all to set up, which is a great benefit.

We purchased this product specifically to use for QBRs and EPRs with our clients, but it has never functioned as intended. Despite reaching out for support from both our sales representative and others, we were unable to get it working. Three months in, we requested to terminate the contract and upgrade our Lifecycle Insights plan, but were denied, even though we had not been able to get the product operational. The sales person claimed he was unaware that we were a telecom and IT company, which was surprising since 'TEL' is part of our company name. The implementation process on Manage was also very poor, which contributed to our inability to use the product properly. As a company that manages phone systems, we were advised to 'just put phones in under printer,' even though we couldn't update the name, which made the solution unworkable for our needs.

**What do you dislike about ScalePad Lifecycle Manager?**

Unfortunately, the product has never worked for our team, so I am dissatisfied with both the entire product and the sales and leadership team behind it. I am leaving this review because, despite reaching out multiple times, none of my concerns have been addressed as I requested.

I was looking to address the challenge of standardizing our performance review process, but unfortunately, this product has not delivered as promised. LifeCycle Manager makes it easy to see all your workstation information in a single view. Once you identify devices that have expired or expiring warranties you can easily add a third party warranty. And if the device is too old to renew you can quickly schedule it for recycling and disposal. Workstation data is pulled from your PSA, RMM, or both. If you know how to setup API accounts for your RMM and PSA  the installation is super fast.

I wish there was a way to map additional fields for workstations. For example, one of our RMM tools writes data into UDFs in our PSA, and LifeCycle Insights cannot read that data.

**What do you like best about ScalePad Lifecycle Manager?**

ScalePad is briliant for making a clear image of a clients Computer/Server hardware inventory. Being able to give this exported report to a Business leader or their Finance team helps them plan machine and server replacements. As well as making informed decisions on Warranty lifecycles. It integrates fully with Connectwise platform and Automate and is built specifically for MSPs.

**What do you dislike about ScalePad Lifecycle Manager?**

Sometimes the platform goes down and you have to wait a little bit for the webserver side to reboot or the issue to be resolved by their team. The new UI can be a little funky to navigate having gotten use to the original UI. The integration sync for new clients can be finicky if the settings in Connectwise aren't right for a new client. Check both sides to ensure agreements are inplace.

**What problems is ScalePad Lifecycle Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Giving us a robost way to manage warrantys and product lifespans for our clients. Giving that data in a meaningful and easy to present manor. It also has the cheapest Warranty extension pricing around, is managed by the same field team that Dell and Lenovo uses. We utilizie Scalepad to assist with our Quarterly Business Reports being able to present the data in a conference setting with multiple users. in addition the warranty support is done direct in the ScalePad console. This makes it easy to see case details and who opened a case for a paticular computer, server and what have you. Scalepad integrates with our Connectwise stack including billing. Anytime you can have full integration it doesn't just make the Techs lives easier but the Operations Department.

I love how easy it is to work with the customer service staff, Geoff is a great help in getting us set up. it is also super easy to integrate with products like Datto RMM, and the reports. are super simple to print off. we use it every time we go into a TBR with a client.

**What do you dislike about ScalePad Lifecycle Manager?**

No real issues with this product, there were some issues where we didn't understand where to go, but our account rep cleared those up easily.

Makes reports easy to generate, with good information that the client can understand, and also can help drive revenue through the Warranty management

The user interface is intuitive, and the reporting feature is highly customizable, giving us the insights we need at a glance.

While the platform is robust, there can be occasional delays in syncing data from connected systems, which can cause a slight lag in asset updates. Additionally, more granular control over certain features would enhance flexibility, especially in managing larger, diverse fleets of devices.

The reports generated through this system make it much easier to forecast when machines should be replaced. Also, their third-party warranty services have been spectacular and stellar to work with.

**What do you dislike about ScalePad Lifecycle Manager?**

Price... While I understand the value a system like this could bring, it's not a day-by-day tool we use and only use it sporadically throughout the year for these forecasting reports. The price is high for its usage.

**Recommendations to others considering ScalePad Lifecycle Manager:**

If you are able to get over the high price tag and don't have a good asset lifecycle management software, this is your go-to choice. Having third-party warranties is a MAJOR bonus as well.

**What problems is ScalePad Lifecycle Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Forecasting when to replace computers and having additional asset information to back up what our RMM provides makes selling new equipment much easier to our customers. Selling the third party server warranties has also been fabulous, excellent investment so far!

ScalePad is the best tool for a MSP and should be a must. The simplicity of the reports it generates and the ease of tracking the lifecycle of our customer assets is exceptional. It saves hours of preparation time before client meetings and gives us a fast, accurate snapshot of any of our clients in seconds. Swear by this product.

Nothing, its a fantastic tool for Managed Service Providers and cant speak highly enough about it..

**What problems is ScalePad Lifecycle Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It saves serious amounts of time. Before this, preparing for a single meeting would take several hours. The other significant benefit is the Hardware and Software Life Cycle Reports that you can produce almost instantly they are very professional and give the customer accurate insight into where both their hardware and software are up to in their lifecycle and assists with budgeting for replacement.

Scalepad Lifecycle manager has more than paid for itself many times over for us.  Simply supplying this information to our customers has generated tons of sales all alone, and gives us much more insight in to their environments.

Overall we have been extremely happy with this, however we would love some open API's to be able to pull this information in to other reporting systems we have built instead of relying on a small handful of pre-built integrations.

Their set of APIs seamlessly integrate with our business management platforms to give us both a "single pane of glass" holistic view as well as drill-down specifics regarding the assets of our small business clients.  With essentials including reporting, insights, scorecards, roadmaps, ScalePad Lifecycle Manager makes our Quarterly Business Reviews a snap!  But the best part, we believe, lies within the Marketplace, as we can now offer warranties on our clients' existing hardware (servers, workstations, laptops...).  It's not only an incredible value-add for them, but it's also another source of revenue generation for us!

And I be remiss if I didn't mention the ease of implementation and the exemplary level of support we receive.
