Very intuitive interface, easy to use, great support. We use it frequently to get the most updated status for our clients.  Easy to integrate with leading RMM solutions.

ScalePad is providing us with the most updated info about client's HW and SW plus it's very easy to create strategic roadmaps to present to the customers

**What do you like best about ScalePad Lifecycle Manager?**

The ability to centrally report on our asset lifeycle has been a game-changer for our sales and account management team. We compared a number of products and ScalePad Lifecycle Manager came out ahead on integrations, price, and user experience. Since onboarding we've been able to genrate a numbe of prety impressive opportunities, most notably a laptop refresh for one of our largest clients. Similarly, ScalePad have implemented a number of really beneficial features - such as BackupRadar backup cross-referencing, and most recently VM Reporting, which has allowed us to get visibility on our clients critical backup estate - something that used to be very manual can now be generated in a matter of minutes.  It's clear to say, we're big fans!

**What do you dislike about ScalePad Lifecycle Manager?**

Honestly there hasn't been too much in the negatives. What limitations we initially discovered were logged as feature requests. Most of these have been implemented in the 12 months we've been a Lifecycle Manager partner. The only outstanding request we have is the ability to map Cisco Meraki at the site leve, rather than the organisation level.

**What problems is ScalePad Lifecycle Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Previously we had very limited centralised ability to report on the lifecycle of clients estates. We were manually loking up warranties throughout the year to try and manage lifycycling. Lifecycle Manager has saved us so much time and effort.

How well presented the information is to our clients with very little work on our end. Gives them a clear sight of the inventory they currently have while being able to forecast budgets for the upcoming year to refresh hardware.

Pricing for mail-in end of life disposal seems a bit high, compared to local options.

**What problems is ScalePad Lifecycle Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As an MSP we have a large number of clients and an even larger number of hardware items. We dont always have time to do thourough analysis on all iventory items deployed. ScalePad has made it so easy to run reports and provide easy to understand information for our clients to know what hardware they should plan on replacing in the coming year. It prevents many surprises when planning for larger puchases of technical equipment.

**What do you like best about ScalePad Lifecycle Manager?**

Lifecycle manager is easily integrated with our existing PSA and RMM tools making the synchronization accurate and easy.  I love how all the reports are customizable and easily branded for your Company.  Managing and even purchasing hardware warranties is easy with ScalePad Lifecycle Manager.

**What do you dislike about ScalePad Lifecycle Manager?**

There isn't much that I can say I dislike about ScalePad Lifecycle Manager.  It's always done everything I've needed it to do in my role as Project Manager for a Managed Service Provider.

**What problems is ScalePad Lifecycle Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

To maintain our Client's regulatory compliance we are required to use an asset inventory system that tracks warranties and service renewals for both hardware and software.  I have found in every case ScalePad Lifecycle Manager fits the bill and meets regulatory requirements for financial institutions.

**What do you like best about ScalePad Lifecycle Manager?**

The ScalePad Lifecycle Manager is a must for any MSP.  The information it delivers to the end user allows your clinet to keep an up to date asset list with the warraty expiration date on each asset.  This allows for keeping up to date on renewals especially after the post warranty on the asset.  We have been using ScalePad back when it was Warranty Master.  It has grown so much from the early days that Scalepad is just not a warranty company anymore.

The intergration with some third party software needs some work but for the most part it works well with others.

ScalePad automates our monthly asset reporting to teh end user with up to date information on there systems.

I love being able to see all of our client's hardware and software in one system with the ability to add warranties and extensions where necessary. It helps us keep our clients protected and up to date.

**What do you dislike about ScalePad Lifecycle Manager?**

I purchased a warranty extension for a client and although it showed as being updated in ScalePad, it did not show up through the online Dell system. I am currently waiting to hear back from customer service on how to have the Dell site updated as well.

**What problems is ScalePad Lifecycle Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ScalePad Lifecycle Manager brings client hardware that needs to be renewed to our attention. Not only does it help our clients by keeping their systems up to date, but it helps us make a margin on renewals in the process.

**What do you like best about ScalePad Lifecycle Manager?**

We mainly use ScalePad for warranty reporting.  It also has some useful software reports that are a bit better than what we get with ConnectWise Automate.  The integration with Automate, Manage and IT Glue are very useful and we often use the reports when meeting up with clients to review their hardware warranty stance.

**What do you dislike about ScalePad Lifecycle Manager?**

We can't pick and choose which clients get reported on.  Some of our clients are ad-hoc and eat up a license even if we don't want to report on it.

**What problems is ScalePad Lifecycle Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lets us know when warranties are up for renewal and provides age and specs on computers so we can inform clients that it may be a time to replace equpment.

We are not renewing our agreement because the tiered pricing has locked us into a much higher rate than we were willing to pay.

**What do you like best about ScalePad Lifecycle Manager?**

Our primary use for ScalePad Lifecycle Manager is to pull in warranty information to our RMM software via API for our monitored workstations. With this feature, it prevents us from having to look up individual serials on support sites to determine ages of hardware.

**What do you dislike about ScalePad Lifecycle Manager?**

The reporting in Lifecycle Manager is not the most informative, although most of the time we are able to gather what we need from the reporting. I would also think that the upsell for third party warranties might be a benefit to some, I do find it quite annoying. It would be nice to be able to turn that feature off.

**What problems is ScalePad Lifecycle Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As stated before, we utilize this product specifically for OEM warranty and aging information via an API to our RMM software. For this aspect, ScalePad does exactly what it issupposed to do.

Having a single pane of glass for all of our workstation and server assets allows us to make the best recommendations for our clients. It also allows us to purchase OEM-equivalent warranty support for assets at a cost that allows us to make good margin.

**What do you dislike about ScalePad Lifecycle Manager?**

Scalepad would do well to include support for more hardware and software products in the future. It is currently missing support for assets that are widely used throughout all industries.

Allows us to accurately manage our assets in a visually appealing way and present information to the clients quickly. Also allows us to open an additional revenue stream through warranty support.

We primarily use ScalePad to automate the tracking of the warranty status of our various computer assets. It has been a huge help in tracking down aging assets that need to be removed from our network.

**What do you dislike about ScalePad Lifecycle Manager?**

We are an internal IT team, so the reporting tools geared toward sales generation are not quite as useful to us. We have found, though, that the option to purchase extended warranties directly inside the dashboard is convenient.

**What problems is ScalePad Lifecycle Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Prior to enabling ScalePad, we had difficulty tracking the age of devices within our organization. Lifecycle Manager has been great for identifying older equipment that needs to be removed from our network.

**What do you like best about ScalePad Lifecycle Manager?**

The reports are really clean and easy to understand. They are greatly helpful in articulating to a client the need to replace aging machines if nothing else to recoup lost productivity, not to mention preventing down time by having planned replacements.

**What do you dislike about ScalePad Lifecycle Manager?**

It would be great if we could on the fly enter a replacement cost per machine at report run time. Let's say the client uses a standard machine and we have a replacement quote from a vendor. Then being able to plugin that cost while generating the report would produce a more accurate picture for the client before we get to the quoting stage.

**What problems is ScalePad Lifecycle Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Not having to manually lookup warranty information saves me a tremendous amount of time when working with a client to prepare budgets for the next year in advance.

I love how easy it is to connect to our other platforms and start using the platform.  Very sleek reports and dashboards for clients.

Working with reports and insights can be a bit challenging.

**What problems is ScalePad Lifecycle Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We previously had no idea that 3rd party warranties could be so easy and profitable, and even if we did, we'd have no good way of managing them.  In addition, showing roadmaps, sleek reports, and scorecards are fantastic.  Solves the problems of hardware asset management and improving maturity of our client engagement at the same time.

**What do you like best about ScalePad Lifecycle Manager?**

The ease with which this tool allows you to breeze through and look up information is incredible. It has flawless integrations with ConnectWise, which we use, which I set up in a matter of minutes. It also is remarkably responsive, never lagging, and they've had no outages since I've started with them years ago at this point. In addition, the price point is phenomenal and fairly grows with your business. It is a great tool to utilize in QBRs and tough (cheap) clients are much more receptive to hardware upgrades when they see the reports we create.

**What do you dislike about ScalePad Lifecycle Manager?**

I don't have enough time in my current role to dig deeper into some of the advancements and how they might play into my business or to my clients. When I have a vendor-specific employee I think this will be even better.

**Recommendations to others considering ScalePad Lifecycle Manager:**

I seriously can't give a better recommendation to a vendor. There have been no problems, no issues, no downtime, and billing is extremely fair. It's a great tool.

**What problems is ScalePad Lifecycle Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Increase in sales based on expired warranties and the proof that I'm not just there "selling" hardware to the client. They are more trusting and it becomes what I've started calling our, "document of truth" between the client and us for hardware decisions. It eliminates a lot of talking and defending a stance of procurement, and instead streamlining it and getting more immediate approvals.

ScalePad provides real-time status of machines from a lifecycle experience, meaning we are able to stop the guessing process of how old equipment is and reducing the time to attain that info.  By knowing when equipment is coming to end of life in real-time, the lifecycle management process is now a revenue generator with tangible dates.

Currently ScalePad does everything we need it to do.  Perhaps in the years to come there will be aspects of the software we will want to explore further.

ScalePad brings all of our warranties and licenses into a single pane of glass to see when things are expiring, regardless of whether they are servers, workstations or network equipment.

ScalePad doesn't allow for granular alerts unless it is a warranty you've purchased through them, meaning it's on you to regularly go through your assets to see when things are expiring.

ScalePad helps to bring together all of our various hardware vendors into one place so we can see what is up for renewal without having to go to every different vendor.

Scalepad easilty integrates into our other tools to retrieve serial numbers and other details to present a easily understanable dashboard and report to view current age of Computer/Server/Network devices.

Scalepad doesn't present duplicate assets very well expecially if it is getting data from multiple integrations as you cannot tell when the asset was first discovered so an asset may have deuplicate entries but different OS for each asset but you do not know which one is the most current

**What problems is ScalePad Lifecycle Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scalepad helps us manage the lifecycle and warranties for our clients workstations allowing us to easily report devices coming to end of warrenty or at an age they should be refreshed

ScalePad has allowed us to decrease the time we spend looking up warranty expirations. It has also allowed us to quickly and easily assemble hardware refresh plans for our Clients. Their support has also been very helpful when we've reached out to them.

**What do you dislike about ScalePad Lifecycle Manager?**

Some of the issues we have experienced were around doing specific reporting. We have been able to leverage their support team when these issues have occurred and had them quickly corrected.

**What problems is ScalePad Lifecycle Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It saves us a lot of time in hardware warranty management. It has made conversations with Clients straightforward when we discuss the issues we see with hardware ages and allows us to build a replacement roadmap easily.

**What do you like best about ScalePad Lifecycle Manager?**

Reporting was a major value add, however the value ended there. Warranty was promoted as a similar approach as OEM but this was not the case. They work more like an insurance company as they make money by how often they don't service a device. In addition, they solf this service as a 24 hour turn around time however, when you need them, they state industry shortages and major delays. They should update this in their SLA.

**What do you dislike about ScalePad Lifecycle Manager?**

The account managers don't care about you at all and send very general responses. I was also promised a $300 credit that I am not able to use. I have been lied to time after time with no way to escalate. This is not a misunderstanding of policy or fine print either. I have cancelled my renewal and will never use this company again. I would recommend you stay away. There are other ways to get this service without the painful customer experience.

Streamline Reports. Only value add; however, this is not worth it as the other services and customer support is so poor.

The ScalePad dashboard is handy. It displays all of your client's hardware details in one interface, showing brand, model, purchase date, warranty status, serial number and other useful data for most major manufacturers.

**What do you dislike about ScalePad Lifecycle Manager?**

ScalePad does not deliver on their warranty coverage. After being with ScalePad for 16 months, I've made a grand total of three warranty claims, all on workstations with the Next Business Day warranty coverage purchased through ScalePad. The first claim was fulfilled in three weeks, the second claim in two weeks and the third in 10 days. Fortunately, I was able to learn this about ScalePad on workstation issues and not with issues involving servers in critical roles. A day or two delay due to availability is not unheard of, but the time frames I experienced with every claim were just unacceptable. And after three such delays in a row, it seems that ScalePad's insistence that such delays are unusual for them is untrue.

If they let me out of my annual contract with no further hassle, that will be the only problem I need them to resolve.

Not only can I get an extended warranty for a computer, I can produce colorful reports for technology business reviews PLUS identify potential problems just from looking at the screens.

It makes our TBR more comprehensive which often leads to more sales. In some cases we've been able to extend the warranty for devices that the client is not ready to replace.

The reports generated from ScalePad we find provide good engagement with our customers. The reports provide an understanding of the age of their equipment that has previously been difficult to show. We've seen an increase in equipment replacement since using ScalePad.

**What do you dislike about ScalePad Lifecycle Manager?**

It would be good to improve printer and network equipment identification. Adding ways to improve detecting/adding serial numbers for these network based assets (switches, routers, printers) and an ability to easily set their age if it cannot be determined from online lookup methods as the current method for correcting these devices has difficulties.

Providing accurate reporting for client facing meetings that results in better customer engagement for equipment replacement and warranty renewals.

Some of the interface and filtering could be friendlier. Developments in the software changes, and some of the features we know and love are moved into filters and other things that need to spend considerable more time to find what we are looking for.

This could be a lot better.

I wish I could manually adjust warranty dates for the od machine that has 3rd party warranty somewhere other than via scalepad.

Saves a lot of time getting warranty info and alerts me to when renewals are required.  Also helpful in see configurations when looking to upgrades parts such as storage or memory.

Scalepad tracks, and sells, hardware warranties that are very competitive with the industry. Additionally, the Backup Radar app makes tracking backups super efficient.

Overall I'm very happy with ScalePad and there's nothing that I dislike.

I like that we can send reports directly to our clients on a monthly basis on the warranty status of their estate.  It shows value and transparency that renewing a warranty for a year is an option than replacing a computer, especially during this climate where everything has risen in cost

**What do you dislike about ScalePad Lifecycle Manager?**

Not a dislike as such but its a shame that there is not an easier way for me to see the vendor support and what vendor is not supported.   We would love to put all out networking and other pieces of critical infrastructure SclaePADs way.

**What problems is ScalePad Lifecycle Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ScalePAD is not solving a problem but is offering us an opportunity to give different options to clients by extending a warranty rather than replacing a PC assisting with their budget planning.  We find now that clients are more proactive with their etates, and now they understand, and the onus is with them to know what is supported and what is not.
