**What do you like best about ScalePad Lifecycle Manager?**

I enjoy using Scalepad LifeCycle Manager as it makes life easier when it comes to providing customers with a warranty/end of life report. Before we were using Lifecycle Manager would have to log into our RMM application manually, export a list of machines and obtain the warranties later, now with the intergration into our RMM, we can pull the data seamlessly and send this over to our customers to give them an insight into their business assets.

**What do you dislike about ScalePad Lifecycle Manager?**

We did want the ability to check if machines were compatible with Windows 10 which is something we were told was available but we haven't seen in production.

**What problems is ScalePad Lifecycle Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's primarily solving our ability to accurately provide asset and warranty information to customers. If a customer wants to understand the age of their estate, age of workstations and when to replace them, this product is the go to.

I like the simplicity of the app.  It let's me see devices we manage for our clients and a simple interface to offer service warranties.

It's a pretty solid tool.  I don't have anything negative to say about it.

It allows me to see all of my devices in a single place and sell and manage warranty services to my clients.

It gives me the ability to see all of my cliens assets all in one view. The ease of use is highly recommended.

There isn't much I don't link about the LifeCycle Manager. One thing I didn't like at first was the change of the naming of the options. But quickly got through it.

**What problems is ScalePad Lifecycle Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I like the use of this applicaiton. It is easy to get warranties. Now with the support of Surface products I give it a 10\10. The only complaint I would have is wit hthe recycling service. I never got my proof of destruction from the third party company who came to get the hardware.

Saved column views don't stay - need to redo everytime you login. Have had a few issues logging into the portal itself on multiple occassions using SSO.

Ease of overview of equipment for multiple clients, it's a huge time saver and allows us to work efficiently.

ScalePad Lifecycle allows me to find out what assets must be updated quickly. This will enable me to focus more on my client's needs.   This report can be put in front of clients to let them know what needs replacing and ease budgeting.

**What do you dislike about ScalePad Lifecycle Manager?**

It has taken me some time to learn the interface. I also wish we could see if a device qualifies for warranty without the device being Lifecycle Manager.  This impacts my ability to sell devices because we do not know if we can offer a waranty.

**What problems is ScalePad Lifecycle Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves me manually looking at client PCs to know what current and what needs to be replaced.  This benefits me because I have more time to help with budget planning and not looking at assets.

**What do you like best about ScalePad Lifecycle Manager?**

A lot of the information that Lifecycle Manager provides can be viewed within an RMM tool.  What cannot be viewed easily is the hardware warranty information.  One thing I like about LCM is that the tool integrates with a good number of our hardware vendors; network, systems, storage, etc.  API integrations are very easy to setup.

I really like the ability to Roadmap, and help clients create IT budgets for hardware replacement.  Also cool is the ability to offer extended warranties.  The reporting is very clean, and this product is a huge tool in our QBR toolkit.

The provided training workshops were extremely beneficial.  Onboarding / customer support was very well though out.  This led to a very quick and easy implementation, and the tool is natively easy to use.

I sign into ScalePad Lifecycle Manager on a weekly basis to start preparing for my account reviews.

**What do you dislike about ScalePad Lifecycle Manager?**

The only downside is that during our onboarding, the person stated that asset disposal was included at no charge.  Come to find out, we have to upgrade our licensing to unlock free asset disposal.

That's okay though, we have a disposal vendor already.

**What problems is ScalePad Lifecycle Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LCM gives us much better visibility into the hardware roadmap, as well as warranty status.

Ages, warranty end dates, general overview per-company view and report export for the client.

Cost, it's shot up rapidly by adding services to the platform and has been a challenge to negotiate keeping the cost down.
They need to sell just the report/warranty end date as a stand alone service.

It brings warranty and expiration dates from most of the OEM's.
Earlier we has to struggle with each of the OEM's to bring there API's and integrate.

Not populating the Cisco Warranty and purchase date dissapointed us .Even after enabling the CISCO Smart connect.
Expecting this would be Resolved ASAP

By populating the warranty and purchase date information for hardware assets. We can forecast the budgeting cost to the management and make them prepared for it.
Also, to know how many Aging devices are there, which could cause any potential issues.

I use scalepad for our client strategic planning reviews for our clients. It is a huge time saver and is very easy to use.

**What do you dislike about ScalePad Lifecycle Manager?**

Duplicate assets can be an issue but that is more a reflection of our upstream processes than the tool itself.

**What problems is ScalePad Lifecycle Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scalepad took what was a manual process to look up serial numbers from our RMM tool and made it completely automated. It takes a small fraction of the time to complete a strategic planning review for our clients compared to what we were doing before.

Our largest benefit to using scalepad is the ability to extend out of warranty servers where the provider no longer supports the hardware.

The syncing integration only adds it does not remove items syncd if the integration is removed.

Just to clarify, Lifecycle Manager should remove assets from the removed integration—unless those assets are also tied to another active integration. Since we support multiple integrations (like RMM and PSA), some assets can exist in both systems and get aggregated into one view.

The reporting and visibility in ScalePad has been great to share information with clients on their overall systems age, and the easy to interpret reporting means it can be sent directly to clients and they can understand it. The warranty purchase process is easy and the support when needed has bene great.

**What do you dislike about ScalePad Lifecycle Manager?**

The only thing I can say that I do not like is the time it takes for the hardware recycling to produce a certificate of disposal .

The major problem this product solved was visibility into hardware age and warranty status.

Having the information we need to keep our customers up-to-date and compliant is critical, and ScalePad is the best solution to ensure that we're driving success (and revenue) through compliance.

ScalePad sync sometimes runs into device sync issues with N-Central.

Without a Lifecycle Manager, keeping track of device aging and replacement schedules was cumbersome. This is all presented in an easy-to-use format, which is able to be distributed directly to customers to help manage their expectations about device replacements.

**What do you like best about ScalePad Lifecycle Manager?**

I'll address only the disposal section as that is what I am familiar with. We love the fact that we can offer clients a free disposal program that sends a certificate of destruction. We can also dispose of the items for them in a very easy manner and be sure that they are getting properly disposed of and in a safe manner. This is something we have to do for clients frequently so very happy to have a great option.

**What do you dislike about ScalePad Lifecycle Manager?**

I'll address only the disposal section as that is what I am familiar with.

It is a little hard to navigate the orders placed. I think it could really benefit from a filter/sort/search feature including things like 1. Order ID, 2. Date Created, 3. Company, 4. Status plus if there were a field we could fill out with identifying features that would be SO helpful so that we could find the order we need to check on status (Like a title or subject). Currently it is extremely difficult to go to the orders page and find the order you need. We are currently putting the order number in our ticket notes of disposal but that is not preferable.

Additonally, if you could find more easily by company - having a better way to identify company would be great. In placing a new order, it is very unclear how to specify which of our clients this device is from. It says "pickup and return address" however a lot of times that address is our company but it is not our company's device but one of our clients. I need it to be really obvious which client the device belongs to and where pickup/return address is.

Integration into Hudu, while not bad, isn't the best experience.

Customers often don't like to think about upgrading their devices. Scalepad allows us to provide imperical evidence that upgrading is a better option than fixing.

**What do you like best about ScalePad Lifecycle Manager?**

ScalePad really simplifies the ITAD pipeline for our company. Instead of having to get devices back from our clients and then send them off somewhere else, we're able to send them a shipping label and let ScalePad take over from there. It also integrates easily with our other services, pulling in important data regarding warranty expirations, documentation errors, and other little details that are easy to miss.

Lifecycle Manager easily integrated with all our assets from ConnectWise Manage, Automate, Meraki, SonicWall and more into a central console that we can see holistically what assets need attention and when. It has an easy to use interface and great reports, both visually and the data within. The onboarding team was very helpful in getting everything configured and setting us up for success.

The IT equipment disposal, although "free", was a pain to use.

Scalepad provides accurate warranty reporting that's automated and ties directly into LOB apps like ConnectWise and Kaseya VSA. We integrate this with our Periodic Technology Reviews for proactive customer management.

Scalepad setup can take time especially when configuring automated customer reports. Scalepad doesn't integrate customer contacts either, so those must be entered manually.

Kaseya VSA and other RMM platforms don't have the ability to accurately report on asset purchase date or warranty date, which prevents us as an MSP in executing global proactive lifecycle management for clients. Scalepad enables us to provide accurate, real-time and automated data to clients to promote warranty extensions and asset refresh purchases. Additional benefits like DMI, insights, and initiatives provide more value to us and our clients.

Lifecyle manager has lots of useful reports and is easy to use. I mostly use the hardware and software reports. It integrates with ConnectWise manage / Automate so its easier to get hardware lists. The reports have all the detail most of us would need.

**What do you dislike about ScalePad Lifecycle Manager?**

The only thing I don't like and its minor, is that you can setup automated reports to send monthly or quarterly to a client, I would like to be able to choose the frequency of when its sent. Add custom dates or a send Now option.

The hardware reports from ConnectWise Automate are cumbersome to generate and are formatted terribly. Scale pad reports are easy to generate and have all the data points most of us need.

I like that is shows the warranty status, that I can sell warranty's from scalepad. 
Their support has been amazing anytime we needed something replaced.

It's hard to filter out what you don't want to show on reports, but it's manageable.

We don't always catch warranty expiring on all the machines we manage, but we can still monitor it here. 
It's really handy for scheduling with our clients to replace machines and come up with a yearly plan to upgrade or replace out dated machines.

The ability to quickly identify opportunities for refresh and warranties and forecasting years out is a huge benefit. It enables us to be proactive with our customers, instead of the typical reactive MSP.

This software has been a lifechanger in the warranty schedule and hardware replacement schedules.  The roadmap is a great piece to hand to clients and it's easy to create.  I check it daily, and frequerntly utilize it's reporting.  The integrations are easy to set up between a lot of other vendors and they sync without worry.

The only negative I can say about this platform is that it's not already a part of my RMM.  If the Scalpad engine was baked into the cake of the other RMMs as opposed to the integration method, it would be an easy sell.  Great software!

It is very easy to connect with Connectwise Automate to pull all hardware data, allowing it to pull hardware specs and warranty info.  The pricing for extending waranties is very reasonable as well!

If the equipment was refurbished, it will show the age of the computer and can be difficu.t to determine actual purchase dates.  It was many filters but one simple one it could use is the ability to differentiate HDD and SSD drives to create sales opportunities.

It helps us sell extended warranties and track current warranties which helps us quickly determine action when something goes wrong on a machines or create additional revenue streams.

Customer service is the worst. They leave you hanging for months to provide an answer.

It is hard to decide the best part about Lifecycle Manager.  I love the easy, at a glance dashboards and rating systems that gives you the critical information you need right away.

The least helpful thing I have found is when creating custom insights by software, your selection isn't from a list of all discovered software that was found from your RMM integration, it is just a prepopulated list.

**What problems is ScalePad Lifecycle Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A problem Lifecycle discovered day 1 was that our 3rd party patching company wasn't keeping Feature Updates up to date.  I'm not sure how we would have noticed this at scale if it wasn't for Lifecycle double checking our 3rd party's work.  We also stuggled with keeping our IT Asset purchase and warranty dates updated.  LCM was able to update and correct hundreds of assets in a matter of minutes versus the hours it would have taking staff to do manually.

I love how easy it is to see all my customers assets at a glance and help them navigate repalcements. There are a ton of other features that I have not leveraged yet but hope to when I find time to dig into them. The scheduled reports are a life saver as well.

I'm not sure there is anything I don't like about it. I guess I wish there were more integrations for things like Fortinet and  other network devices. I see it does some Sonicwall and Cisco but expanding that would be amazing.

We used to have to take service tags and go to the vendor site and input them manually for warranties and it was very time intensive, as was reporting on those assets to the customer. With Scalepad not only is it automated but I can also write warranty dates back to the RMM for the folks that are not in here every day.

I would like to be able to create a personalized default filter/view based on the criteria I would like to show my clients. This has to be done manually and filtered each time. It would be nice to have the automated reports functiallity be addressed with the customer view/filter created versus the default lifecycle hardware report.

For this reason I do not use the automated report to send out monthly or quarterly and do this manually.

Best thing about ScalePad is it helps us as an MSP and our clients know where their assets are in their lifecyle. The best thing ever is that they have a recyle option and now we no longer have those random computers laying around our office! They even plant a tree per computer you recycle! Love how environmentally aware they are. Everytime, and I mean everytime, I bring one of these reports to a client meeting I get immediate buy in from a client. 

My account manager here is a rock star, shout out to Ashley! You are the best!

To be honest, I don't think I have anything negative to say about Lifecycle Manager. If I had to say something I dislike that there isnt a dark mode option on the portal but that is a little picky...

Definetly the QBR process. This plus a QBR solution is a slam dunk for all QBR meetings. Plus it helps our techs know when to stop troubleshooting an issue based on the computers age and recommend a replacement.

I love the interface. It's very easy to navigate and the dashboard gives me huge insight as soon as I log in. If there are any issues with my account, the dashboard provides me with a link right on opening screen.

**What do you dislike about ScalePad Lifecycle Manager?**

The only thing I dislike about the ScalePad Lifecycle Manager is that I can't collapse the navigation pane. I work from a small sized laptop and I would prefer if the developers would add a way to minimize (or turn the menu options into icons) the navigation pane.

**What problems is ScalePad Lifecycle Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before, we we're factoring into account any warranties on equipment when we would onboard a new client. We just took the equipment on as is and a couple times it bit us in the butt. Now, when we onboard a new client, we process their machines through ScalePad and we provide our clients with a list of suggestions for warranty upgrades. This has helped immensly as several machines ran into issues after upgrading the warranty and the customer was able to save big bucks, proving that we, as their MSP, are interesting in helping them in all manner of ways, not just IT support.

I like that it integrates into our existing systems, the platform is deeper than what we use it for.  The warranty coverage seems to be equivallent to direct to major brands but at a better cost helping us improve our bottom line.  Profits pay for people, need to get paid, Scalepad helps at that level.

**What do you dislike about ScalePad Lifecycle Manager?**

I'd like to send the reporting to my clients every six months instead of every three.  I also wish I could better customize what's being sent.  I find the XLS document I can pull provides far more insight but I'd like to customize it and send it instead every month to many clients.  Perhaps I need training.  Also wish items that are in our hardware management (even if you can't sell warranty) could be listed in this platform so we could talk about hardware lifecycle end to end not just about what you offer coverage for.

Needed an easy tool to tackle a mass of hardware renewals quickly, also needed to provide some automated metrics to customers with some marketing flare, this did the trick, not to say it couldn't be better.
