The fact that I could figure out what I was doing and customize it to look the way I wanted made the process straightforward and allowed me to integrate it smoothly into my site. I will occasionally get emails saying that my pop-up will not be able to be viewed anymore because it has reached its monthly or whatever viewing cap. I use exit-intent popups, scroll-based triggers, and time-based popups. For example, I set a popup to appear after 20 seconds on high-intent pages and another one when users try to leave the site.
