The customer service, specifically related to anything tax related, leaves much to be desired. However, they do have a great knowledge base where you can look up a lot of information on your own and they have many training videos as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Paylocity is a great payroll program. It helps streamline the payroll process in a lot of ways. The recent updates to running payroll have made processing much easier, with fewer steps and everything in one place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I don’t like the new People Search. It shows all employees for the CS unless you change the settings to limit it to a single company. This happens even when I’ve already selected the company I want to search in to find a specific employee. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The integration process was full-service by our Paylocity team and included training for every member of our team. The platform is user friendly and a serious upgrade to the previous system for Admin / Employee / Accounting experience. The payroll experience is streamlined, as well as our benefit integrations. We've saved countless man hours in account reconciliations. We're saving money and have a modern and up to date system. My favorite aspect is the community piece. My least favorite part about Paylocity is the reporting. I have difficulty with customizing the reports, and finding reports that come out with the information in the format I need. However, requesting custom reports is not difficult. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The customer service is not top notch at all it is very low quality and not personalized at all. Even with a per employee cost we are not assigned an individual account manager to contact on continual basis or they are never available. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The ability to easily edit/customize our career pages (though with limited creative freedom) and the ability to edit message templates within the recruiting module. To my knowledge, I have not had experience using AI features within Paylocity Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Customer support and pricing transparency have been severely lacking. Pricing is all over the place, and you will be charged for products that have 0 utilization without any word from your support team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like how everything is now streamlined and connected. For example, 401K integration, health insurance enrollment, and employee announcements are all in one place, which makes it much easier to manage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The implementation was rough. Our main contact wasn’t knowledgeable about the products and initially set us up incorrectly. We ran into issues with employees’ sick time and vacation time not calculating properly. The instructions on how to use Paylocity weren’t clearly defined, so we often had to figure things out on our own. In the end, we had to reach back out to our sales rep to arrange another implementation and to make sure our taxes and codes were set up correctly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Paylocity is the 3rd Payroll Software that we have used. It is by far the best option for our company. We currently have 200 employees, full-time, part-time and seasonal. We utilize independent contractors through our payroll system and it works extremely well. The training and newsletters are an added bonus. There seems to be a lot of forms that need to be completed when making changes to our account that get misunderstood because of the form layout. I love that I can do all things HR and manage the entire employee life cycle in one platform. I love the suggested questions and optional answers for the surveys and I love that new hires can start their onboarding from text and email. Some of the features, reports, etc. can be difficult to find unless you know exactly what you are looking for. In addition, some features in the recruiting portal could be improved. For example, having a way for hiring managers to easily rank candidates after interviews would be helpful. There is the feedback forms, which we do utilize, however, you have to manually select that they been sent each time you schedule an interview. In addition, the tax setup process can be a little confusing. I know there are many helpful articles Paylocity provides for what you are looking for but they are, at times, difficult to understand step-by-step. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The platform is comprehensive and user-friendly, but what has stood out most is the exceptional support throughout implementation.
