Teams excels at keeping cross-departmental communication centralized. The performance is highly reliable, even during large-scale town hall meetings with hundreds of attendees. I love the chat thread functionality, especially the ability to quickly shift a text conversation into an ad-hoc voice call or screen-share session with a single click. The search functionality is also incredibly robust, allowing me to find buried files or specific conversations from months ago using simple keywords, which greatly improves my daily productivity. The file management system, which relies on SharePoint in the background, can be confusing for standard users. If a file is moved or renamed within a channel, it frequently breaks the link inside the chat thread, causing access errors for the team. Furthermore, when channels accumulate dozens of threaded replies, the conversation view gets messy, making it difficult to follow a single linear train of thought without accidentally starting an entirely new thread.
