**What do you like best about Leapsome?**

1. Setting expectations with my reporting manager: With the integration with Google Calendar, it becomes much easier to plan and discuss the topics that are necessary for the work, as well as for my personal development.

2. Year-end review: The peer nomination process is clearly helpful because it lets me get inputs from different people I have actually worked with, which adds more value to the overall year-end review process.

What works: The UI is very intuitive. I have never been in a situation where I don’t understand what’s being asked or what my next steps are. The AI refine feature while writing peer reviews is also very useful, because we always need to maintain decorum when reviewing someone. The tone suggestions help avoid miscommunication and misunderstandings.

What can be improved: Since Google Calendar is already integrated, it would be even better to integrate with Gemini notes as well, so key points can be added automatically and progress can be tracked. This would add more value for both the employee and the manager.

**What do you dislike about Leapsome?**

The process certainly brings more value to the overall system. However, there is too much manual work involved in adding points and data, and in following up on tasks through to completion. If we integrate with Gemini notes, it would solve most of that manual effort and add great value to the product.

**What problems is Leapsome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The connection between me and my reporting manager is very clearly defined. In fact, setting up the initial profile and adding meetings in Leapsome is a one-time activity, and after that everything is handled automatically. That’s really great.

What I like best about Leapsome is how simple and user-friendly it is. The interface is clean and easy to navigate, making it straightforward to complete performance reviews, track goals, and access feedback. Everything is organized clearly, so I can quickly find what I need without spending a lot of time learning the platform or searching through menus.

**What do you dislike about Leapsome?**

There isn't much I dislike about Leapsome overall. As an employee, I occasionally find that some sections require a few extra clicks to get to the information I'm looking for. It would be nice if certain tasks, such as reviewing goals or accessing feedback, were a little quicker to navigate. Other than that, the platform is easy to use and works well for its purpose.

**What do you like best about Leapsome?**

We’ve had a really positive experience using Leapsome for performance management. From an admin perspective, the platform is very intuitive and easy to manage, even for more complex processes. At the same time, the user experience is simple and clear, so adoption across the team happened naturally and without additional overhead or extensive training.

One of the biggest strengths for us is the level of customization available. As administrators, we have a lot of flexibility when it comes to setting up processes, defining access levels, and managing visibility across different parts of the platform, which makes it easy to adapt Leapsome to our internal needs and workflows.

Another standout aspect is the quality of the onboarding and learning materials. The resources are thoughtfully structured, easy to follow, and genuinely helpful both during implementation and for ongoing platform usage.

**What do you dislike about Leapsome?**

At this stage, we’re still running our first cycle with Leapsome, so it feels a bit early to point out any major drawbacks or systemic improvements. So far, the experience has been very positive overall. Any feedback we currently have would mostly fall into the category of smaller product improvements or feature refinements rather than anything fundamentally missing or problematic.

**What problems is Leapsome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Leapsome, we didn’t have a centralized platform for performance management, so one of the biggest benefits for us is having a single system that integrates the entire process in a structured and easy-to-follow way. It has significantly improved visibility and consistency, both from an administrative and employee perspective.

Another important advantage is that the platform feels lightweight for employees — it doesn’t create unnecessary overhead, which helped with adoption and engagement from the start. The onboarding experience and intuitive interface also made implementation much smoother for our team.

We’re also looking forward to exploring the analytics capabilities more deeply over time. Since we’re still in the early stages of setting up and running our cycles, we recognize that getting the most value from analytics also depends on how well we continue to refine and optimize our own processes internally.

Leapsome is a premium people enablement platform that feels worth its price tag. Before we started using Leapsome, everything felt scattered. Reviews were in one place, goals somewhere else, and we barely had any engagement data to work with. Now, everything is together in one platform, and that alone has made a huge difference for our team.

Managers come into performance conversations prepared, and employees have a clear understanding of what’s expected of them. Instead of only realizing someone is disengaged when they decide to leave, we’re able to spot those signs early and take action.

The AI writing assistant has quietly become a favorite. It helps managers give feedback that’s actually meaningful, rather than just generic comments to get through the review cycle.

We’re not perfect, but Leapsome has helped us be much more intentional about how we support and develop our people. We’re seeing the impact in our retention numbers and in the way managers talk about leading their teams. It really feels like we finally have the right foundation in place.

I love that there is so much functionality from a head of people perspective but the UX is so streamlined, simple and easy to use for those that do not need the whole platform. Onboarding is a dream, it takes care of a lot of the legwork required from me to ensure new starters have the best onboarding experience with none of the hassle. The pricing is fantastic value for money - even in man hours saved!

I find that 'Leapy' is misinformed about the platform and as an AI tool, it really doesn't provide the answers I need. More training is required if it is to be a genuine helpful AI assistant.

Time to onboard is great, I enjoy knowing and seeing that 1:1s are happening from a central perspective rather than just being told by leaders in the business that they are.

It has been really helpful to be able to prepare my 1:1 annotations at any time, allowing me to track my progress effortlessly throughout the week.

The praise system gives everyone a sense of accomplishment and provides a rewarding feeling that makes the overall environment feel more human.

My team uses the peer review feature every quarter, and it consistently helps us identify areas for improvement among our colleagues.

What I really love is how quickly everything saves, and how my peers can see the changes I make in documents in real time.

Our company has also configured praise messages to be sent automatically to a Slack channel, giving us full visibility without needing to open the Leapsome dashboard.

**What do you dislike about Leapsome?**

I’d really like an option to remove old items from meetings that didn’t happen. If, for any reason, I’m not able to have a 1:1 meeting, all the items still show up when I take the next one, which is helpful. However, it would be really nice to have a way to clear them all at once.

**What problems is Leapsome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use it for surveys of any sort, 1:1 meeting tracking, peer reviews, and performance reviews.

I don't even remember the name of the previous tool that we were using but Leapsome definitely proved its worth, and we haven't even considered other options since then. It feels really smooth to open the dashboard and work with it.

I use Leapsome to centralize my profile, goals, reviews, feedback, and learning paths, which helps me to be more organized in my development within the company and to track objectives. I love the feedback part because when I feel lost, I can ask our leads or coworkers to give us feedback, which allows me to have a clear channel to ask for guidance. I enjoy how easily it activates when opening the link and the centralization of everything in one space. The employee directory makes it easy for me to search when I need a colleague's name, speeding up the search for people within the company. The initial setup of Leapsome was very simple, and I had no problems.

**What do you dislike about Leapsome?**

I believe much more could be gained if there were greater clarity or guidance on what can be done within Leapsome, to use it more fully on a day-to-day basis. It would also help if some functions were even more intuitive at first glance, especially for those of us who only access certain sections and do not necessarily know the entire tool. Rather, I feel that we are still not familiar with Leapsome; training and integration are needed to make the most of it and not just remain with a partial tool.

I really like how Leapsome provides me a very structured way to evaluate my team, which consists of about 20 people. Without this structured system, I would have lost quite a lot of time. It also allows for comparisons between my different team members, which is really helpful. Additionally, I'm using the AI tools within Leapsome a lot for writing and some of the evaluations, and I appreciate how these tools assist me. The initial setup was done by my HR team, and I had no issues in terms of starting to apply and use it.

In some cases, it is difficult to box every kind of personality and employee into the same questions. But I'm trying to add as many inputs there as possible, so I can contribute to the better evaluation of my team members.

I like the UI - easy to navigate. I have used it for my review, which I have to do every 4 months, so easy to navigate is necessary. I also use it to praise colleagues.

It seems that our surveys aren't completely anonymous. I believe that my department or perhaps even my name is visible to the person who requests the survey. I had submitted an answer to an anonymous survey once and the reader really seemed to know exactly where it came from. Not sure if that is a "you" thing or a "my company" thing.

Again, since I do reviews three times a year, it's important to get it done efficiently.

Since it is integrated with the slack notifications It is easy to manage and user will not miss out any updates.It operates smoothly without any delays when navigated directly from slack notifications.
The AI summary is very useful to understand the overall reviews provided by peers.
Support team is responsive in addressing all the questions related to timeline and other details.

It should also include some graphical representation of my performance curve over the months that I have worked in the organisation. Can include more analytics for user to view the learning path than just providing options to collect or provide feedbacks

Many companies use separate tools or excel sheets to track goals , performance reviews , promotion cycles but with Leapsome its gets easier for the organisation to have all these data maintained at one place. I like the simplicity and completeness of having all information at hand, along with the clear graphics and AI help. The self-assessment feature is very interesting, allowing both the employee and the manager to express their opinions and then compare them. Having a clean and intuitive interface helps me immediately understand where to click and see the information clearly. I also appreciate that everything I need is in one place without having to use multiple tools. The initial setup was very easy, as everything scheduled to be done was clearly present once I entered the homepage. Overall, I'm really enjoying the simplicity, AI, and self-assessment features.

It isn’t always clear when a review has been fully completed by all parties, especially when an employee is in a cycle that still shows as open because other employees haven’t finished their portions yet.

On top of that, some users find the mobile experience limiting, and the internal text-formatting options can feel too restrictive when trying to create detailed performance documentation.

**What do you like best about Leapsome?**

I use Leapsome for surveys, 1-1s, recognition and reviews. It automates everything, which I find very useful. I really appreciate the great survey and review analytics. A feature I particularly enjoy is Leapy, the AI tool, because I can ask it any questions about my data, and it acts as an amazing assistant to fix data issues or give summaries on how we can improve. Additionally, Leapsome's integration with Slack and Teams is a huge plus for us. The cost and the available automations and workflows were big factors in our decision to switch to Leapsome from Culture Amp. From what I understand, the setup was fairly smooth.

**What do you like best about Leapsome?**

I like using Leapsome for quarterly, half-yearly, and annual reviews as well as for 1:1 conversations with managers and peers. It simplifies and automates the review process, providing Slack notifications and real-time updates. I appreciate the real-time notifications for any pending tasks that I might forget, and the UI is easy to navigate. It's great that I can get my updates right on my landing page, and if needed, perform other actions like instant meetings and access feedback easily. The setup was quite simple, everything was set up quickly, and I was able to log in seamlessly.

**What do you dislike about Leapsome?**

I feel, if as a user I need this for only review purpose then other sections are not needed, so a role or user based features in the landing page will definitely help.

**What problems is Leapsome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Leapsome simplifies and automates the review process with real-time notifications and Slack integration. The easy-to-navigate UI makes managing tasks straightforward, reminding me of pending reviews and facilitating actions like instant meetings.

the tool can sometimes seem a bit rigid or standardized, which limits the customization of assessments according to the specific needs of each team.

Leapsome allows structuring and formalizing performance evaluations, both for self-assessments and manager feedback. The tool centralizes information, which facilitates tracking objectives, collecting feedback, and ensuring consistency in evaluations. This allows me to take a step back from my work, have a clearer view of my performance, and engage in more constructive exchanges with my manager. Leapsome is very easy to use as well I must say its veru veru organized comapare to other equivalent process tool. Leapsome is also easy to implement so many different features like Scheduling meeting, Keeping meeting notes, ext...

One of many Leapsome functionality praises is its all-in-one functionality, integrating  performance reviews, surveys, goal setting, and training modules into one platform. 

I think Leapsome is a great paltform that helps in standardizing the review process and improving team visibility. I would like to use it more frequently as it also give me a chance to send feedback of my collegues for their awesome contribution on releasing new Project. 

I believe Leapsome should get great customer support for all intergarting features.

The initial setup and learning phase for understanding and using Leapsome can be time-consuming and difficult for some users.

Goal settings and review process becomes so easy and tranperant.

I use Leapsome for managing my small team, and it makes it easier to keep track of what everyone is doing. I think the user interface is very easy and clear to navigate. The initial setup was very easy, and everyone understood what to do simply. We switched to Leapsome from Jira due to the ease of integration.

For me the left side menu feels a little bit cluttered. I think the groups and sub groups could be drop downs and be easier to close.

**What do you like best about Leapsome?**

Having used multiple tools at previous companies, I find Leapsome far more intuitive than the others. I recently completed eight trainings and several surveys, and the UI is genuinely strong. I especially like being able to track my progress, download resources, and test my understanding through the quizzes. The Slack reminders are also very helpful for staying on schedule, and they mean I don’t have to keep checking the site to see whether I have any pending tasks.

I recently started using Leapsome, and I’m really enjoying it. So far, I haven’t run into any major issues or complaints.

I appreciate Leapsome's 360-degree feedback with graphical representations, which clearly highlight areas of improvement and show what I and my peers, as well as my manager, think. It allows me to take feedback from peers across different levels, providing flexibility and enabling me to understand thoughts not just from top-down but also from people on the same level, below, and across teams. I also find the initial setup to be super easy.

Leapsome is easy to use,
I like the Slack integration because it reminds me of the things I had to do.
It can be connected easily with Google Calendar and slack.

**What do you dislike about Leapsome?**

I would love to see it more integrated from google work space tools side, for example some plugin on Calendar to link the meeting note with meeting, something similer to zoom plugin.

The integration is not in sync with my calendar, I setup a leapsome note for a recurring meeting and this meeting time is changed it is till remind me on slack with the old time of the meeting.

**What problems is Leapsome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ability to give people feedback anonymously or directly is great, we rely on it for our review cycles.
I love the praise feature.
And I like the action items on the meeting, I love to double down on this feature.
