What do you dislike about A-LIGN?

The A-SCEND platform does not integrate with all of the services we use, which creates extra manual effort and limits the efficiency gains we would expect from a centralized compliance management tool.

In addition, because we upload highly confidential business information into A-SCEND, we remain mindful of the platform’s security posture. We hope and expect that A-SCEND is maintained at the highest levels of security assurance, and we would welcome greater transparency and validation around how that is achieved. What problems is A-LIGN solving and how is that benefiting you?

A-LIGN is helping us address the growing complexity of security and compliance by serving as a single point of contact across multiple regulatory frameworks. Instead of managing various audit firms and timelines, we can streamline our compliance program through a single, coordinated relationship using their fantastic tool A-SCEND.

It has been 2 years since we started our partnership. A-LIGN guided us through our ISO 27001:2022 certification, ensuring that our information security management system aligns with global best practices. We are in the process of achieving our FedRAMP certification. This critical milestone enables us to deliver services to customers that support federal agencies, strengthening our credibility with security-conscious customers.

What do you like best about A-LIGN?

The best part about A-SCENd is the fact that once you upload a document, that's it. You never need to upload again. It is always stored in the platform so associating it to another requirement is easy. I'm also a huge fan of the people we've worked with! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about A-LIGN?

A-Lign is still working on integrations to the platform, so I wasn't able to get the full functionality out of it. I think that once they get a lot more integrations set up, the platform wil become even easier and less time consuming to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We looked at multiple auditing firms when deciding on A-Lign, and the one that consistently came back with positive reviews and outcomes was A-lign. Every year we go through a HIPAA Type 1 audit and a HITRUST audit. A-SCEND is allowing us to store documents and evidence in a central platform to makes it easy to gather and send every piece of evidence to the right place. What do you like best about A-LIGN?

The best feature of the A-SCEND platform is the ability to upload evidence once and have it reviewed for multiple certification teams. I have worked with outer providers that required uploading the same evidence for SOC2 and ISO in different areas. The way the tool works cuts the workload down significantly. What do you like best about A-LIGN?

As a company we have worked with A-Scend for our for our SOC-2 Type 1 and HIPAA yearly audits, and we are impressed with their services. A-scend has helped with our audit experience, ensuring the yearly audits proceed smoothly and efficiently.

One of the standout features of A-scend's services is their exceptional clarity when it comes to field evidence requests, cloud expertise, SaaS experience. The field requests are well-defined and straightforward, making it easy for us to gather and provide the necessary documentation and evidence. This clarity significantly reduces the audit-related stress and confusion that can often accompany such processes during the kickoff call and evidence meetings.

A-scend Auditor's support throughout the audits has been commendable, they review our files and report back to us if they are not accepted or have any questions.

"An overall pleasant experience - SOC2 made simpler"

What do you like best about A-LIGN?

The tool is well organized and easy to use. Requests are easily managed and tracked. Email alerts keep the team informed while overall progress towards evidence accpetance is displayed in an easy to view. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The only downside I identified was that i could not re-assign a ticket to another resource until the status was changed. This was not a big deal and did not delay our audit. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is A-LIGN solving and how is that benefiting you?

Our SOC2 compliance is an absolute requirement by our customers to feel safe in trusting us with their data. Using the ASCEND tool allows us to submit our evidence, maintain a record of that evidence by category, and collaboratively work with our auditor to achieve validation in an organzied and timely manner.
