You never need to upload again. It is always stored in the platform so associating it to another requirement is easy. But with the tool, it was easier to assign each task to the right people, and also with the additional insights of each evidence, they could understand what the auditor was asking for. Also, internally, it makes it easier for the CISO to know what is the status of each task, so he can see the progression. Aligning that with a time frame also helps to visualize if we're on track, or getting delayed on anything. Also having the option to export all the data, allows us to keep an internal record of all the information provided and work done for next year. **What do you dislike about A-LIGN?** Sometimes the tool didn't record properly when a task was assigned to someone, but ticking the boxes slower solved the problem. As such, we've seen quite the transformation of A-SCEND over the last few years, and this portal keeps getting better. Evidence submitted from our prior engagements is readily accessible, which is a huge benefit. In addition, user assignment, evidence upload and auditor communication features are intuitive; so, you can get up to speed on using this tool very quickly. **What do you dislike about A-LIGN?** I really don't have any complaints about the system. **What problems is A-LIGN solving and how is that benefiting you?** This is a great audit management tool. I have to refresh the page after several submissions to keep things running smoothly. Managing comments can be a bit difficult. It allows us to have one centralized resource within the organization take the lead and reachout to the operations team less frequently. I am easily able to delegate any audit tasks to my team members easily. Very easy to navigate between previous year audits and re-use evidences. For any ongoing audits its quite easy to use use saem evidence for multiple questions instead of re-uploading. We have been using it for three years and its has been a satisfying experience. **What do you dislike about A-LIGN?** We have used it for our SOC 2 audits for the last 3 years and havent really found any downside to A-scend portal. **What problems is A-LIGN solving and how is that benefiting you?** Automated evidence collection platform is a great help for long audits. A-scend helps us with that. We do not have to sit witht the auditors for long hours. All tht back and forth on call is avoided via the platform. We submit all the evidence via the portal and it helps us reduce setting up manual calls to go through the audit evidences. ### 25. In comparison to what we are using for PCI compliance, the Ascend portal is very user friendly. **What do you dislike about A-LIGN?** I wish that questions submitted via the portal also linked alert me if/when my question or comment was responded to. Ended up using email to communicate between the engagement manager and auditor as opposed to using the portal for an intended use. A-Scend has made the process relatively painless over the course of the last two audit sessions.
