Overpriced Tool, Predatory Auto-Renewal Trap, and Zero Help Getting Out We signed up for Klevu expecting a powerful search tool to justify the premium price tag. What we got was a mediocre product that failed to deliver meaningful results for our store, paired with one of the worst customer experiences I've encountered. The tool itself is overpriced for what it offers. The search improvements were negligible, the interface clunky, and the ROI simply wasn't there compared to alternatives on the market. Worse than the product, however, is how Klevu handles contracts. We were not clearly informed that signing up for an annual plan would automatically lock us into perpetual renewals. When we requested cancellation, they refused, citing buried auto-renewal terms, and insisted we remain paying customers until November 2026 despite our objections. This is predatory contract behavior dressed up in fine print. If you are considering Klevu, read every word of their Terms and Conditions before signing anything, and get cancellation rights in writing.
