From a developer perspective, I feel like what I liked the most was the mostly smooth integration. The API documentation is clear and pretty well written, definitely better compared to some other search engines I had a chance to work with (Won't mention :D). Downsides? To be honest, nothing really strict comes to my mind. Luigis has a catalog browser for previewing results, but it feel a bit limited when it comes to deeper, rt validation of search behavior.
