## About AddSearch
AddSearch is an AI-powered site search and discovery platform that transforms how organizations connect users with information. Unlike traditional search tools that simply return lists of links, AddSearch combines intelligent site search, conversational AI, and personalized recommendations to deliver direct answers and engaging experiences across websites and web applications. AddSearch solves the critical challenge of information discovery in digital environments where users expect instant, accurate answers. The platform enables businesses to deliver information through three distinct approaches: AI-driven conversational answers that provide direct responses without requiring users to click through multiple pages, intelligent site search with autocomplete and smart ranking that surfaces the most relevant results, and personalized content recommendations that adapt to individual user behavior and preferences. This flexibility allows organizations to match their information delivery method to specific user contexts; whether someone needs a quick factual answer, wants to explore options through search, or benefits from proactive content suggestions. Nearly 2,000 organizations worldwide rely on AddSearch across diverse industries including Financial Services and Banking institutions helping customers navigate products and regulatory information, Professional Associations connecting members with resources and industry knowledge, Healthcare organizations making medical information and patient resources accessible, Government agencies ensuring public information is easily discoverable, Educational institutions connecting students with learning materials, Media companies managing large content libraries, Telecommunications providers serving complex customer bases driving content discovery and sales. The platform integrates with any content management system through two methods: an automated crawler that continuously indexes website content, or a flexible Indexing API for custom integrations and real-time updates. Implementation typically requires minimal developer resources, with AddSearch's expert services team handling configuration and optimization. G2 users consistently rate AddSearch highly for ROI, citing fast time-to-value (often deployed within days), measurable improvements in user engagement metrics, and reduced support costs through better self-service information access. - AI Answers deliver instant, accurate responses by leveraging generative AI to synthesize information from indexed content, eliminating the need for users to navigate multiple pages or documents to find specific information - AI Conversations provide natural, chat-like interactions that understand context and follow-up questions, enabling users to refine queries and explore topics through dynamic dialogue rather than static search results - Autocomplete and Smart Ranking enhance the search experience with predictive suggestions that appear as users type, while intelligent algorithms prioritize results based on relevance, user behavior patterns, content freshness, and business rules - Personalized Search adapts the experience for individual users by analyzing their browsing history, search patterns, and preferences to surface the most relevant content, products, or resources for their specific needs and interests - Content and Product Recommendations proactively suggest related articles, resources, or products based on what users are currently viewing, increasing engagement time, reducing bounce rates, and driving conversions through intelligent cross-selling and upselling - Advanced Analytics provide actionable insights into search behavior, popular queries, failed searches, and user engagement patterns, with multi-year data retention enabling trend analysis and continuous optimization of search performance - Flexible Content Controls give administrators precise management over search results through synonym mapping (ensuring different terms find the same content), content inclusion and exclusion rules, custom filters and facets for refined searching, and boost/bury controls for strategic content promotion - Enterprise Features support large-scale deployments with Single Sign-On (SSO) integration for seamless authentication, organizational user management with role-based permissions, comprehensive audit logs for compliance and security, and Service Level Agreements guaranteeing up to 99.999% uptime - Seamless Implementation works with any CMS or content platform, whether through automated crawling of public content or API-based integration for authenticated content and real-time updates, with typical deployment completed in days rather than weeks or months

## AddSearch Reviews
 ### 1. Fast, Feature-Rich Search with Next-Gen AI Answers

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vishal D. | Quality Assurance Specialist, Gambling & Casinos, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2025

**What do you like best about AddSearch?**

What I value most about AddSearch is how unexpectedly straightforward it is to start using. Setting up the crawler is uncomplicated, and the ability to link it to nearly any CMS via an API or the crawler itself means I can avoid dealing with complex configurations. After setup, the search function is impressively quick—results appear almost immediately, which greatly enhances the user experience.

**What do you dislike about AddSearch?**

My main frustration is that integrating with more specialized or niche e-commerce platforms can take extra development work. It’s not difficult, but it’s not as plug-and-play as some alternatives that have ready-made connectors. I’ve also noticed that some of the more advanced personalization options—especially the deeper behavioral targeting—are locked behind the higher-tier plans. That can be a bit limiting for smaller teams or companies that want richer personalization but may not be ready for a premium plan.

**What problems is AddSearch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

AddSearch has mainly helped me fix the issue of poor content and product discoverability on the site. Before using it, people often struggled with the built-in search—it was slow, generic, and made it hard for users to find things like technical documents or specific product SKUs. That usually led to frustration and higher bounce rates.

Since switching to AddSearch, the improvements have been pretty noticeable. The fast results and AI-powered answers help people get what they need instantly, which keeps them engaged instead of giving up. On the e-commerce side, features like Faceted Search and Smart Ranking make sure the most relevant products show up first, which has had a direct impact on reducing drop-offs and increasing conversions.

Another big benefit is the analytics. Seeing which searches return no results has become a great guide for my content and SEO strategy—it tells me exactly where the gaps are so I can create or update content that users are actually looking for.

 ### 2. Transforms E-commerce with Accurate, Fast Search and Stellar Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about AddSearch?**

I appreciate AddSearch Site Search for its impressive speed and accuracy in providing relevant search results. The feature of autocorrecting spelling mistakes enhances user experience by minimizing errors in search queries. I value the customization options that allow users to tailor the search experience according to specific needs and preferences, such as location and past behavior. The platform empowers self-service by enabling users to efficiently find the correct information, thus reducing the burden on customer support teams. Additionally, AddSearch Site Search features autosuggestions and personalization, which enrich the user experience by presenting the most pertinent content upfront. Furthermore, the support team is notably responsive and efficient in resolving any issues, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free process for me and my team.

**What do you dislike about AddSearch?**

I find that AddSearch Site Search could be improved in its search functionality, particularly in providing more control over result priority. The process of implementing AddSearch could also be made simpler and more user-friendly, as the current setup might present some challenges. Additionally, there have been initial reports concerning access issues, indicating that access should be seamless and without such hiccups.

**What problems is AddSearch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find AddSearch Site Search enhances product discovery, optimizes conversion rates, and improves decision-making with real-time indexing, autocomplete suggestions, and personalized search results, making our e-commerce platform more user-friendly.

**What do you like best about AddSearch?**

I like AddSearch for its easy customization, real-time indexing, and fast, accurate results. It makes creating a smooth search experience simple and effective.

**What do you dislike about AddSearch?**

One downside of AddSearch could be that its pricing might be a bit high for smaller sites with limited budgets. Also, some users report that the advanced customization options, while powerful, can be a bit overwhelming for non-technical users.

**What problems is AddSearch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

AddSearch is solving the problem of inefficient site search by providing faster, more relevant results. It benefits users by improving the overall search experience, making it easier to find specific content on a website. For businesses, this leads to higher user engagement, lower bounce rates, and better conversion rates since users can quickly locate what they’re looking for. It also saves time for both users and site owners, reducing frustration and increasing satisfaction.

I also like how customizable the search UI is, and the analytics help us understand what users are looking for. Even if you're not very technical, you can still manage and tweak everything without much effort.

**What do you dislike about AddSearch?**

Sometimes the results take a little time to update after we make changes on the website. It’s not a major issue, but faster indexing would make the experience even smoother. Other than that, everything works well for our needs.

**What problems is AddSearch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using AddSearch, our users struggled to find the right pages or documents through our site’s default search. AddSearch fixed this by giving accurate and quick search results. It has reduced user confusion, cut down support requests, and made our website navigation much easier overall.

AddSearch helps us provide fast and accurate search results on our website, which improves user experience and keeps visitors engaged. It saves time for customers by making information easy to find, and for us it reduces support requests and increases conversions

 ### 9. Lack of Flexibility – Paid for a Subscription, but the Tool Didn’t Work

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** herascu i. | Marketing specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 24, 2025

**What do you like best about AddSearch?**

At first, AddSearch looked like a promising solution, with a clean interface and useful features. However, despite initial optimism, their team was unable to meet some very basic requirements for our website. We expected a smooth integration, but instead, we faced multiple technical issues that were never resolved. Communication was slow, and in the end, we were left with a non-functional tool. To make things worse, we still had to pay for the subscription, even though the service never worked as expected. If your website has specific needs, be very cautious before committing, as they may not be able to deliver. Very disappointing experience.

**What do you dislike about AddSearch?**

We had high hopes for AddSearch, but unfortunately, it failed to meet our expectations. Despite initial discussions, their team was unable to properly adjust the tool to work with our website. We encountered multiple issues, and the promised solutions never materialized. Communication was slow, and in the end, we were left without a functional search solution. To make matters worse, we still had to pay for the subscription, even though the tool never worked for us. If your website has specific requirements, be very cautious before signing a contract with them, as they may not be able to deliver what you need. Definitely not the seamless experience we were hoping for.

**What problems is AddSearch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

AddSearch seemed promising at first, offering a fast and customizable search solution to improve our website’s user experience. However, in reality, it failed to integrate properly with our site, and their team couldn’t meet even simple requirements. As a result, we never got to benefit from the tool, yet we still had to pay for the subscription. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.

**Official Response from Helena Rebane:**

> I am very sorry to hear about your unpleasant experience with the AddSearch implementation. Our goal is always to provide a seamless and effective search solution, and we regret that this was not the outcome in your case.

I would like to clarify that our team provided all necessary tools, support, custom UIs, and solutions in a timely manner. However, as the implementation was handled by your third-party agency, we unfortunately had limited control over their response times and execution. We understand how frustrating delays can be, and we wish that the responsibilities of the stakeholders (you, your agency, AddSearch) could have been clear to everyone involved in this project.
We value your feedback and would be happy to discuss this further to find a resolution. Please feel free to reach out to us directly.

 ### 10. Simple Yet Powerful Site Search Solution

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Murugan R. | Specialist - GL ACCOUNTANT, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2025

**What do you like best about AddSearch?**

AddSearch is very easy to integrate with our website — no complicated setup. The search results are fast and relevant, which helps our visitors find what they need quickly. I also like that we can customize the look and feel to match our site’s branding, and the analytics feature shows us what people are searching for, which helps improve our content.

**What do you dislike about AddSearch?**

There’s not much to dislike, but some advanced customizations require basic coding knowledge, so non-technical users might need help. Also, pricing could be more flexible for smaller sites

**What problems is AddSearch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use AddSearch to help our website visitors quickly find pages, blog posts, and other content. It makes navigation easier and improves the overall user experience

 ### 11. Easy Integration for Small Sites, But Search Quality Drops on Larger Ones

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shewta C. | Sales & CRM Expert, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 09, 2025

**What do you like best about AddSearch?**

It's simple to integrate for search functionality on a small-scale website.

**What do you dislike about AddSearch?**

Sometimes, the results are not as good when searching on larger websites.

**What problems is AddSearch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's easy to integrate into a website.

 ### 12. A very strong and reasonably priced search platform

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Steven L. | Principal, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 25, 2025

**What do you like best about AddSearch?**

Firstly, the search results are good, and the ease of basic implementation is awesome. And their support is first-rate.

**What do you dislike about AddSearch?**

Their WordPress plugin to add their service to a WordPress site is good, but could use more options integrated into it. For example, their brand new AI answers product (which has a surprisingly small additional charge to use) cannot be added with just the plugin. It's not a big deal if you have anyone on a development team, but I would still like to avoid paying for any development time.

**What problems is AddSearch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

An easy to use and implement search product for smaller site with a lot of content

 ### 13. High quality search results and easy to manage

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael N. | Head of Product, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 30, 2024

**What do you like best about AddSearch?**

The platform is very easy to use and maintain. It offers a number of features that allow us to highlight particular stories or marketing initiatives, while also giving us the everyday tools to tweak our results through a number of attributes. It doesn't hurt that the cost is relatively low for this space, without sacrificing the quality of search results.

**What do you dislike about AddSearch?**

The onboarding to get AddSearch integrated with our site wasn't quite as speedy as the sales process would imply, but it's still faster to implement than every other platform we investigated.

**What problems is AddSearch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were using WordPress's out of the box search solution and the results were middling at best. Our main goal with our search overhaul was to provide users with more relevant results that would help to keep people engaged with the site more. We saw an immediate uptick in time on site for user's that executed a site search.

 ### 14. Powerful tool with great customer support

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2025

**What do you like best about AddSearch?**

versatile back-end functionality with great customer support and guidance.

**What do you dislike about AddSearch?**

The tools does not currently provide functionality for understanding conversational language but I am told that this is in the product pipeline.

**What problems is AddSearch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

More control over search functionality

 ### 15. Powerful and user-friendly.. setting up search was a breeze

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Josh H. | SEO Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 08, 2024

**What do you like best about AddSearch?**

There are several things I liked about AddSearch Site Search...

Setting up and managing AddSearch is easy, it would even be easy for someone with limited technical experience. The interface is intuitive and user-friendly, and there's documentation that walks you through the process

AddSearch quickly crawls your website and gathers all the results for search, making it easy for our users to find what they need on our website straight after updates we make / new pages we publish.

The customer support team is fantastic. Whenever I've had a question, they've been quick to provide a solution.

**What do you dislike about AddSearch?**

Honestly, I haven't encountered any major drawbacks with AddSearch. Perhaps for very large and complex websites, some users might want more advanced customisation options. But as we aren't a website with LOTS of pages (over 1000) I wouldnt really know what it's like for that.

**What problems is AddSearch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With any website with lots of pages, navigation is important. We needed a search function on our website and Addsearch has managed to fulfil all those needs. Improved user experience via increased ease of navigation

 ### 16. A Robust Search Tool That Won't Break Your Budget

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 09, 2024

**What do you like best about AddSearch?**

After evaluating over a half a dozen search vendors, including: Clerk.io, Cludo, Elastic, Swifttype, HawkSearch, Algolia, AddSearch, SearchNode and Coveo, we decided to go with AddSearch. We chose AddSearch because they offered a comprehensive list of search features. specialize in federated search, provide options for personalization and support creation of UI. Their budget fell midway between the lowest and highest and they had the shortest implementation time for ease of integration.

**What do you dislike about AddSearch?**

We have had a few hiccups in technology; however, whenever we experienced search index or code issues, AddSearch's support team was quick to assist and helped us troubleshoot to resolve problems quickly.

**What problems is AddSearch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

AddSearch is providing our digital storefront in the financial services sector with the ability to provide search results in a visually appealing and easy to read and understand format. This helps our customers ensure that they can quickly and easily find what they are looking for and gives them comfort in seeing search results in a more typical retail (versus bank) layout.

**Reviewed by:** Millicent C. | owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 02, 2024

**What do you like best about AddSearch?**

AddSearch has an extraordinary website search - better than any we have tried. It is thorough and easy to use. The communication with AddSearch customer support is also immediate, personal and helpful. In today's world, 'personal' is one of the best references I can give.

**What do you dislike about AddSearch?**

I have encountered no downsides to AddSearch

**What problems is AddSearch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have an extensive website. The search is immediate and thorough

**Official Response from Helena Rebane:**

> Thank you for the feedback, Millicent! We are thrilled to hear that AddSearch has been working great for you and that you have received good support from our team. ⭐️

 ### 18. An excellent service with terrific results and top tier support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paul P. | Professional FX Trader, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 07, 2024

**What do you like best about AddSearch?**

AddSearch is easy to set up and configure on your website. The API is well documented and easy to understand. The results pages are super fast to respond and can be configured to meet exact requirements of many search types. The speed and attentiveness of the support team is outstanding. When there is a question that needs answering I know I can rely on them not only to be there, but to be there with the answers I need. They follow up on outstanding tickets, and really listen to feature requests and feedback.

**What do you dislike about AddSearch?**

I had a small problem with their site crawl bots not all getting access to my site. But this has been resolved with the implementation of the API.

**What problems is AddSearch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have a vast library of technical and scientific documentation. AddSearch allows us to organise this into a set of faceted data that is easy to search in many different ways from the same place. It just makes finding our content easy. Searches bring back instant results and make the end user experience a better one. Prior to using AddSeach we were relying on Wordpress' internal search feature, and this brought along many frustrations. Since implementing AddSearch we have improved the user experience, this has allowed our content to get out infront of more people easier, and quicker without the need for users to contact our internal staff for guidance on finding information.

**Official Response from Helena Rebane:**

> Thank you for the feedback, Paul! 🙌 Great to hear that AddSearch has helped you to make your documentation organized and findable. We make sure your kind words also reach our support team!

**What do you like best about AddSearch?**

Everytime i have interacted with the AddSearch support they have gone above and beyond to make sure I have what I need. They always follow up a few weeks later aswell to make sure there are no further issues.

**What do you dislike about AddSearch?**

There is a little disconnect between the billing plan I am on and what is represented as the features. Better information about what the site search is doing and updating would be useful aswell

**What problems is AddSearch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use AddSearch as the primary search on our ecommerce software. we use the API direcetly to display the results and the crawler for the search. So far so good

 ### 20. Helpful for our custom site

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paige L. | Marketing Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 13, 2024

**What do you like best about AddSearch?**

Was able to integrate into our custom site, analytics

**What do you dislike about AddSearch?**

It's expensive and no automatic reports.

**What problems is AddSearch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We didn't have a search feature on our custom site. AddSearch was presented as the best option and has been great to add that functionality.

 ### 21. Amazing search tool - top notch customer service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Research | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 09, 2023

**What do you like best about AddSearch?**

My company wanted a responsive search tool that had the ability to process new pages quickly. AddSearch has exceeded our expectations. Not only does it provide beautiful image and text results but when I’ve had questions or concerns their customer service has always responded and addressed my concerns quickly and completely. I would recommend AddSearch to anyone. It’s easy to use, updates quickly, and the customer service is top notch.

**What do you dislike about AddSearch?**

I have yet to find a downside. Every time I have a concern about AddSearch it gets fully addressed.

**What problems is AddSearch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My website has many content pages and it can be hard for users to find the information they want quickly. With AddSearch they can easily search for and find the content they want.

 ### 22. Great tool for ensuring our content is findable for users

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Becky M. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 19, 2023

**What do you like best about AddSearch?**

AddSearch is great for allowing us to manipulate results for internal site searches. We use this to promote our relevant and highest priority content and, in some cases, to encourage users to browse related content. The keyword section is also especially useful to see where users are struggling to find content and potential gaps in our offering.

Also, the support team have been super helpful and responsive both through the online chat function and over email (thanks Wyatt in particular!)

**What do you dislike about AddSearch?**

Only being able to recrawl once a week with our license isn't ideal but the support team are helpful there too. It would also be great to be able to exclude our own IPs as these likely skew results slightly but as an overview it's still super useful.

**What problems is AddSearch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As I said, our site navigation isn't always supporting users so search manipulation allows us to promote the most important content and see where users are getting stck.

 ### 23. Excellent support easy to use

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Broadcast Media | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 20, 2023

**What do you like best about AddSearch?**

The seamless integration and user-friendly interface are impressive, but what truly sets AddSearch apart is its exceptional customer support. The responsive team has promptly addressed our queries and provided insightful guidance, making the overall experience not just efficient but also highly supportive.

**What do you dislike about AddSearch?**

Overriding existing styles is allways a bit turnoff. Could it be possible to turn off all predefined stylings?

**What problems is AddSearch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Huge step-up comparing built-in WordPress search.

 ### 24. Great experience

Our website provider platform doesn't have a search feature, so we use this solution.

 ### 25. Exactly what I was looking for!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jonathan W. | Managing Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 23, 2019

**What do you like best about AddSearch?**

The instant results and great support from the developers.
Lot's of customisation opportunities and options.
Really well thought out and being able to combine domains in one search is great.

**What do you dislike about AddSearch?**

Large subscription is a little pricey. Seems higher than necessary.

**Recommendations to others considering AddSearch:**

Very easy to use and implement, watch the page counts though, they can ramp up.
Also, some CSS clashes with responsive custom themes were tricky to troubleshoot.

**What problems is AddSearch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The capability to combine domains in one search result is key for me.

 ### 26. Perfect tool to filter your content

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2023

**What do you like best about AddSearch?**

My website is very content-rich, especially the webshop and all the localized products, and AddSearch really helped us out with the search and filtering. Normal WordPress search was not doing a good job.

**What do you dislike about AddSearch?**

Professional tier is a bit expensive. It was hard to set up and replace the existing system for us at first. One a week crawl is not enough for our business needs.

**What problems is AddSearch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have a lot of product offerings which are localized to different regions and languages, and so far AddSearch has been doing a fantastic job at searching and filtering the results. We are very happy with it.

 ### 27. All inclusive Search Addon

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cedrik D. | Managing Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 21, 2023

**What do you like best about AddSearch?**

I like the easiness of the setup. It just took us a couple of minutes and we had a sophisticated search feature on our page. The indivisualisation and also the insights that you ca gather from AddSearch are really helpful in our day to day bussiness.

**What do you dislike about AddSearch?**

I think the UI can enhance quite a bit, the admin interface looks a bit "old" and in the beginning when you are unfamiliar with the tool its quite hard to navigate through the admin app.

**What problems is AddSearch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using multiple different domains and we need an overall search for finding content between all pages. This is not possible without implementing AddSearch. Now we are able to find all content from different domains in one combined search.

 ### 28. Great Feature Set and Involved Customer Service Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Government Administration | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 22, 2020

**What do you like best about AddSearch?**

Upside is the general public can quickly find search results on website information and linked documents. AddSearch's website provides useful tools and especially APIs to work against their search solutions. If there are issues, the customer service is fast to respond and work with developers, even the ones who make simple syntax mistakes!

**What do you dislike about AddSearch?**

We have not found a dislike at this time. In-fact, we find more to like as we use the product over time and discover different ways to implement the features into our custom in-house applications.

**Recommendations to others considering AddSearch:**

At least give it a spin.

**What problems is AddSearch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are getting better search results to our public users. When adding content, internal users are not required to add keyword searches to documents because of the automation to AddSearch API's.

 ### 29. Customisable Search with Amazing Customer Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2023

**What do you like best about AddSearch?**

The platform offers a user-friendly and attractive search interface that can be tailored to match the website's design and branding, enhancing the overall user experience.

Excellent customer service is worth highlighting! AddSearch support team is helpful, responsive, and knowledgeable, both through the online chat and email support.

**What do you dislike about AddSearch?**

While the search functionality is excellent, the admin interface could benefit from improvements to enhance navigation and usability.

**What problems is AddSearch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easy and simple to install search that caters to our users' demands.

 ### 30. Add Search is Easy and great Customer help

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tom V. | Marketing Web Designer/Developer/Digital Designer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 17, 2019

**What do you like best about AddSearch?**

It is easy to use but also has advanced features if you need them and multiple ways to configure it. Their customer experience is the best and gets back very fast if you need information or don't know how to do something.

**What do you dislike about AddSearch?**

I have not found one yet. It is technology so nothing is perfect. I researched what one to use when Google went to a pay system.

**Recommendations to others considering AddSearch:**

For the price it charges it is well worth it. Others did the same things but charged much more.

**What problems is AddSearch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They helped me decide which of their methods to use that allow me to customize the results page that matches our website design.

 ### 31. Great user experience when using AddSearch

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nataly L. | Product Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 18, 2021

**What do you like best about AddSearch?**

We are using the AddSearch widget in our Knowledge Base site, so finding the correct information is essential for us! The AddSearch widget enabled our users to find any required information within our website, split by categories. It includes fuzzy search, which is important for us too. Their customer service is great, as they helped us to resolve our integration issues rather quickly and continue supporting us whenever we need them, for example when we need to re-crawl the data frequently.

**What do you dislike about AddSearch?**

We are missing the ability to filter or sort the search results by a predefined tag set in the web site pages. Also the dashboard can be improved with additional statistics (e.g., geographic distribution).

**What problems is AddSearch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our site is a Knowledge Base. Thus it is essential to make the site data accessible to our users. The fuzzy search helps finding texts, and it improves user experience.

**Official Response from Helena Rebane:**

> Hi Nataly and thanks for sharing your thoughts! It's great to hear we have been able to help your visitors find information in your Knowledge Base! It is possible to have filtering and sorting with your search as well. We are happy to guide you through that, just drop us a message at support@addsearch.com.

 ### 32. Easy to install, flexible to configure

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Charlie S. | Director of Technology, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 20, 2022

**What do you like best about AddSearch?**

Ease of installation. We had our first implementation installed in 15 minutes. Once installed, we were able to promote certain areas of our site over others, exclude areas, set up synonyms, and pin key results to certain keywords. When we needed technical support it was thorough and fast.

**What do you dislike about AddSearch?**

We've been mostly pretty happy. Not a lot to report here. The price went up quite a bit after we signed up, but they did grandfather us in to the old price, so that hasn't been an issue.

**What problems is AddSearch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed an easy and relatively inexpensive site search, that was pretty much "plug and play." This fit the bill.

**Official Response from Helena Rebane:**

> Hi Charlie, thanks for the feedback. It's great you have used some of the most frequently used search optimization tools on AddSearch. Also, our support is happy to hear they have been able to help you whenever needed. If you want to learn more about further opportunities with the product, just send us a message!

 ### 33. Dynamic search tool with great customization options

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Olli H. | Digital Marketing & Web Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 13, 2022

**What do you like best about AddSearch?**

Page indexing & search result optimization work really well. Extensive customization options are useful when listing results in different use cases. Technicsl implementation is easy as well!

**What do you dislike about AddSearch?**

There is not much to dislike really. When deploying a new site, there has sometimes been an issue with the 1 full site crawl per week limit, but the customer support team has always been helpful.

**What problems is AddSearch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

User are finding relevant content on the site more easily. AddSearch is one of the most important assets in site navigation - not only in the header, but also in finding more specific content on certain landing pages.

**Official Response from Helena Rebane:**

> Thank you, Olli! Great to hear you have been able to customize the search for your needs and have received help from our support whenever needed. We appreciate your feedback!

 ### 34. Fast, helpful & user-friendly

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Heather C. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 10, 2023

**What do you like best about AddSearch?**

Very easy to use and does not require a lot of training. Help /chat bot is so fast and easy to use when needed!

**What do you dislike about AddSearch?**

The help section has so many articles that sometimes it is hard to find what you're looking for.

**What problems is AddSearch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Providing an efficient search. We love that it searches through PDF's.

 ### 35. When problem happens, what you need is not a bot, but a "human" support!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael L. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 06, 2023

**What do you like best about AddSearch?**

The support from AddSearch is awesome! We went into a few issues when we were going to launch a revamped website, AddSearch not only offers support via a bot (from the knowledgebase), but it also provided support staff to answer email and offered immediate advice and action to resolve the problem!

**What do you dislike about AddSearch?**

Nothing dislike so far...the overall experience working with AddSearch is pretty good!

**What problems is AddSearch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It supports both English content, Traditional Chinese content, as well as Simplified Chinese content indexing + searching functionalities, at a reasonable subscription fee.

 ### 36. Not a Geek!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aine C. | Web Master, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 15, 2022

**What do you like best about AddSearch?**

I found AddSearch to be my ideal solution to improve my website navigation.
It's an absolute must-have! I tried others, but the functions of AddSearch are miles ahead.
I'm no geek, so their great active support was crucial for me. I'm a very pleased user of AddSearch, indeed.
Aine Chambers.

**What do you dislike about AddSearch?**

It can't open from the drop-down menu with a new page. ie. Target=right

**What problems is AddSearch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Navigation, Not having an overloaded landing page, more tempting for visitors to explore. The drop-down Menu reveals numerous options,

 ### 37. AddSearch equals for profesionalism, engagement and confidence

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Pharmaceuticals | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 06, 2022

**What do you like best about AddSearch?**

AddSearch is the best combination of a great and professional team, a good and stable product that can be used in different use cases and transparent costs! The team was always very supportive and offered support even when it wasn't their obligation to do that.

**What do you dislike about AddSearch?**

I can't think of any disadvantages or things I could dislike about working with AddSearch and using their product! I think they are transparent and they deliver what they promissed.

**What problems is AddSearch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Search suggestions when having many products based on complex algorithms and user behaviour without months of custom development and analytics for the best overview of user behaviour.

**Official Response from Helena Rebane:**

> Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us! We are happy you appreciate the work our implementation and customer success team puts into ensuring the search is set up and works the best it can for you.

 ### 38. Quick and Agile Search Engine

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jim W. | Administrator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 05, 2022

**What do you like best about AddSearch?**

1) Responsive Tech support.
2) API functions support and usability.
3) Accuracy of search results.
4) GUI display.
5) Competitive price.
6) You are not left alone to set up.

**What do you dislike about AddSearch?**

We found this company's search to work very well for our needs. Currently, we did not find anything with the search mechanism that we did not like. We are pleased with their services.

**What problems is AddSearch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Addsearch is providing accurate search matching results for our products which are in the tech and electronics industry. Clients can then find what they are looking for to buy.

 ### 39. AddSearch is a solid site search option

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andy S. | Development Architect, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 14, 2021

**What do you like best about AddSearch?**

What I like best about AddSearch is the simple setup, API capabilities, and all the various configuration settings provided to customize search results. We also like the analytics that provide great insights in to what users are searching for on your site.

**What do you dislike about AddSearch?**

I don't have any critical feedback about AddSearch. Their toolset is solid and their support team is very responsive and quickly remedies bugs.

**What problems is AddSearch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

AddSearch provides a very competitively priced search tool for any website. It is better than most out-of-the-box CMS searches and way less expensive than most of the enterprise-level search options like SOLR. We originally found AddSearch as our replacement to Google's Site Search that was deprecated. AddSearch has added so much more functionality and configurations than Google ever had.

 ### 40. AddSearch has enabled us to provide our clients with a rich search experience.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Business Supplies and Equipment | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 28, 2022

**What do you like best about AddSearch?**

We enjoy the ability to manage/extend/promote search results. We also appreciate the ability to style the AddSearch pieces however we like. The documentation is good/helpful as well.

**What do you dislike about AddSearch?**

The partner program is new and still feels like they are working the kinks out of it in terms of paying commissions in a timely/streamlined fashion. The pricing is more than we guessed it would be initially, but we have come to realize it is worth the price. The analytics could be improved as well.

**What problems is AddSearch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Rather than custom-developing search functionality for clients (like we used to), AddSearch streamlines that functionality drastically so we can focus on other priorities for our clients.

 ### 41. AddSearch works great

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2022

**What do you like best about AddSearch?**

Very prompt customer services and the product does what you'd expect.

**What do you dislike about AddSearch?**

Their crawler does a great job indexing our content. One potential issue is that their crawler often makes hundreds of requests to our site, often in the span of a very short period of time

**Recommendations to others considering AddSearch:**

Try AddSearch, you won't be disappointed.

**What problems is AddSearch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We faced issues with their crawler gaining access to protected content which prevented protected content from being properly indexed. AddSearch was able to solve this by me providing a set of credentials for their process to use to access protected content.

 ### 42. Best way to easily add enterprise search to any website or web app

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ethan D. | Web Information Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 19, 2021

**What do you like best about AddSearch?**

It all comes down to three simple things...
1) The user experience is excellent, and this applies whether use the basic integration or decide to make a custom results page using Search UI.
2) The developer experience offers a perfect balance of control and ease of use.
3) Search indexing and search results ranking management is breathtakingly simple and even informed by analytics, all from a shared dashboard.

**What do you dislike about AddSearch?**

Not a deal-breaker... it would just be nice if the management dashboard was mobile-friendly.
Occasionally I need to make small search ranking changes when I am away from my desk, and the dashboard does not work well from the small viewport of a mobile phone.

**What problems is AddSearch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1) We needed a federated search solution for our main website. Our website visitors can now search from our main website and see results from every web property affiliated with the institution.
2) We needed a way to easily customize search results. I can now easilty customize the ranking, promotion/pinning, and unique search synonmys all at a moments notice.
3) Budget constraints. As an educational institution with search needs that do not equate to customer revenue, this was, by far, the most afordable way to add enterprise quality search to our website.

 ### 43. Extraordinary Customer Service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lynn C. | Vice President, Marketing, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 04, 2021

**What do you like best about AddSearch?**

I overlooked an email from AddSearch informing me of changes in their package options and, as a result, my corporate credit card was charged for a different amount than I had expected. Through a series of emails over the course of several days, my customer support specialist, Mikko, worked through the issues with me which included a refund to my credit card for the difference. Mikko was extremely helpful, positive and responded quickly each time, even when it was to inform me that the situation was being further investigated. Mikko is, without a doubt, the best customer support specialist I have ever had the pleasure to work with.

**What do you dislike about AddSearch?**

Nothing! The customer service was truly exceptional.

**What problems is AddSearch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use the AddSearch solution on our bank's website to assist our customers and prospects in their search endeavors.

 ### 44. Easy to find help, and rapid reply.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** YANNICK L. | WordPress Software Engineer, Computer Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 01, 2021

**What do you like best about AddSearch?**

Good documentation, comfortable web UI for reading. They are concentrated on the functions supplied, not over-complicated.

**What do you dislike about AddSearch?**

May create more functions for customers to self-use. And maybe the API calls would be more beneficial for developers.

**Recommendations to others considering AddSearch:**

Clean, simple, good support.

**What problems is AddSearch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The outdated insite search index. Some deleted pages have still stayed on the index.
After the full recrawl, they are gone as expected.

 ### 45. Excellent Customizable Web Site Search Box, Better than Google

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carl S. | Business Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 05, 2020

**What do you like best about AddSearch?**

Great customer service, ability to pin results based on actual customer inquiries to make for more accurate searches

**What do you dislike about AddSearch?**

Needs more pinned results to better customize customer inquiries

**What problems is AddSearch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A search tool that is superior to our old paid Google search tool

 ### 46. Fast, Smart and Attractive Enterprise Search

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paul P. | President, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2020

**What do you like best about AddSearch?**

AddSearch works very well with WordPress, and we have installed it on several client sites where search was a priority. The search is fast, "thinks ahead" by displaying results even before the search terms are completely entered, and displays an attractive thumbnail graphic with each search results. Search goes against a good number of document types, including PDFs, and that's important for many of our B2B business clients. This is a great replacement, and improves upon, the old Google Enterprise search which was removed from the market.

**What do you dislike about AddSearch?**

Price for most of our clients is around $1,000 a year. That's high but not unreasonable for those who really need it.

**What problems is AddSearch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Many clients like to exclude certain pages from some searches, or to give a higher priority for certain pages. AddSearch provides lots of custom search potential and solves challenges like this easily. It can also search across multiple domains -- so using search to comb through, say, both WordPress pages as well as cloud service pages, like Zendesk, is much needed and truly impressive.

 ### 47. Flexible cross-site search at minimal cost

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 08, 2021

**What do you like best about AddSearch?**

I like that addsearch can index the public pages of multiple related websites, and I can then search either individual websites or groups of websites. This really satisfies an important business need. It does this at minimal cost and with minimal setup.

**What do you dislike about AddSearch?**

I did run into some issues with the crawler being confused by redirects that were basically standardizing URLs from no trailing slash to a trailing slash. I've found a way to work around this, basically by modifying the sitemap.xml generated by my CMS. This is an edge case that most people aren't likely to run into. Hopefully they'll fix the bots to not get so stymied by this.

**What problems is AddSearch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1. Cross-site search
2. Low cost
3. Front-end indexing instead of having to push data into the search API

 ### 48. Great Search Tool for Client Sites

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andy T. | Owner, Creative Director, Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 09, 2021

**What do you like best about AddSearch?**

Being a development shop, the added benefit of implementing AddSearch for client sites is invaluable. Once they try it out they're sold on the efficiency of users being able to find content and easily convert them. It's also highly customizable for just about any application, and the support is very responsive. The revenue share is also great.

**What do you dislike about AddSearch?**

Don't have any complaints or dislikes about the product.

**Recommendations to others considering AddSearch:**

It's a very easy way to enter smart search for your site. The basic widget implementation takes little to no technical expertise to get up and running. Beyond that, you can get as custom as you want given your development ability.

**What problems is AddSearch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solving the issue of basic out of the box generic search you get with content management systems. Those just keyword query a database, where AddSearch is much more powerful than that. It helps the user find exactly what they're looking for, even if they don't really know.

 ### 49. Full featured search tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David L. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 25, 2021

**What do you like best about AddSearch?**

I like the icons in the autocomplete search bar.

**What do you dislike about AddSearch?**

The price was a little high, but I think it is worth it.

**What problems is AddSearch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our current search service has limited analytics. I would like to get a better insight into what customers are looking for.

 ### 50. Great widget, works well with any website! Plug and Play!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Leisure, Travel & Tourism | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 16, 2021

**What do you like best about AddSearch?**

Its so easy to install, edit and customise the AddSearch plugin. The AddSearch team are always improving the system and have included this within the price. Very easy to manage, such as excluding pages, promoting certain pages to be at the top, and even screenshots of the page as a preview.

**What do you dislike about AddSearch?**

The cost has shot up recently, but its such a good product - you pay for what you get. I would love to be able to customise it even more, but that's not a big deal.

**Recommendations to others considering AddSearch:**

If you are looking for a light-weight, easy to install and customise plugin, then give AddSearch a try. It's great for helping users find pages, PDF's and content on your website easily.

**What problems is AddSearch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our system provider doesn't have a quick and easy way to have to add a search facility to our website, so we found AddSearch which had everything we needed and more.
