I love it. I am on the columbo plan which takes care of everything I need. SS360 gives my one-man-show a very professional edge. I particularly like the Smart 404 on my site to keep people who enter a typo in a domain. Customer service was excellent on the odd occasion I needed some help. **What do you dislike about Site Search 360?** No downsite to report :-) When I was setting it up and had a little trouble understanding what to do I used the help and support via email. I had originally used google, and when that was stopped, I went to DuckDuckGo. They started putting adverts all over the results and it was just not a good look. But it is SO POWERFUL, and does everything I needed it to do and then some. Multiple filters, result groupings, custom sort options, result mappings—it's all here and it works beautifully. It's also lightning fast, even with an index of 24,000+ entries. The bang for buck ratio here is just insane. There's almost nothing it can't do right out of the box, so much so that I would almost feel like I'm getting ripped off if I went anywhere else. Oh, and did I mention the SUPPORT that they offer? Both the customer care team and the devs have been super-helpful, answering promptly and accurately each time. They even once solved a problem that I didn't even know was there but that absolutely needed fixing! Seriously, I can't say enough good. So thankful for this team. **What do you dislike about Site Search 360?** There are a few things it can't do that I wish it could, but most of them are things that literally nobody else is going to want or ask for. For example, it can't sort results 100% alphabetically, and its Javascript API (which is SO helpful, BTW) can call a simple search term but not a pre-filled set of filter values. But again, these are minor limitations and are completely understandable, especially given the amazing price. Again, I'm getting a LOT of bang for my buck here, and that fact is not lost on me. :-) **What problems is Site Search 360 solving and how is that benefiting you?** We needed a better search experience to help kids, parents, and librarians find books. We already had a lot of tags and custom taxonomies, but our old SQL-based search struggled to deliver results that were truly relevant, and the UI left much to be desired. All that has changed now. Because the site is behind a login, we were limited in what search tools I could embed in the website. We also did not have thousands of dollars to sink into subscribing to a big expensive service full of bells and whistles we didn't need. I came across Site Search 360 after more than two years of searching for a solution, and it checked all the boxes. It could access our site and index all our many, many documents and pages. I was also able to embed it on the site and style it in a way that made it appear to be a seamless part of the site itself (unlike some of the options I'd investigated which took you off-site to a landing page to see your results). When I've encountered problems, the staff have been quick to help me, despite being half a world away. They also helped me get our service billing aligned with our annual budget timing. All-in-all they've been super helpful and have a great product. **What do you dislike about Site Search 360?** To those without any HTML or CSS coding skills, there may be some elements of this tool that might seem intimidating if you want to do anything other than the out-of-the-box presentation of their search results (although they do have an online wizard that can help you put together some basic customization). However, I believe you will find them eager to help if you cannot figure out what you need to do. **Recommendations to others considering Site Search 360:** Don't be hesitant to contact one of their staff with any questions. It contains thousands of documents and pages that, until now, have had no search function. That was that the free trial is using the highest-paid version, so if I subscribe to the lower-cost version, I lose those great options. Now with Site Search 360 that ad-clutter is all gone. My visitors get a clean search results interface. I also really like the search results layover window for the search results. That way the visitor sees the page they've been visiting while viewing search results at the same time. Further, the number of configurations for Site Search 360 is amazing. You can tag images, redirect specific keyword search directly to certain pages on your site, index PDFs, use your Sitemap for indexing, add custom synonyms or a customer dictionary, and much more. Customer service is outstanding as well. I had several questions in the beginning, and in every case I received a prompt and accurate response. **What do you dislike about Site Search 360?** One trick about Site Search 360 is to disable Suggestions. I found that displaying the search results immediately (that is, to not show a drop-down of linked "suggestions") creates less confusion, at least for me. But that is a feature rather than a bug, since Site Search 360 gives you the power to configure the search box however you want. **What problems is Site Search 360 solving and how is that benefiting you?** Site Search 360 provides visitors to my Memory-Improvement-Tips.com web property with a far better search experience than Google Custom Search. ### 27. They help you very well and swiftly. **What problems is Site Search 360 solving and how is that benefiting you?** My saas system did not link onsite search results to Google Analytics/Search console. With SiteSearch360 I can see search results in the dashboard of SS360 as well as in Google Analytics/Search console. SS360 has a dictionary that gives you the possibility to assign synonyms. So you can tell SS360 that car is a synonym or subject of vehicle, so that someone that searches for the word car, also gets results for the word vehicle. You have a lot of possibilities for changing the lay-out and filters but you may need some help from the people at SS360. The benefit we realized is that visitors can more easily find the information they are looking for, even with speech. ### 29.
