**Reviewed Date:** July 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Huntress offers exceptional service and support, with common API's allowing automation tie in's to ticketing systems. Their managed response remediations are well written, thorough, and quite effective, allowing our Technicians and Engineers to quickly evaluate and respond.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Honestly, the only real drawback I have seen is the lack of a darkscreen mode.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Huntress raises attention on security issues it sees as information is ingested and will automatically quarantine devices seen attempting to perform critically malicious activities.

  ### 2. Peace of Mind - UPDATED

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael P. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 18, 2023

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

The team behind the scenes checking all the processes, working on the incident if it is something out of the ordinary. If we have to do something, they tell us what we need to do. It's great! On top of all the Ransomware and Process Monitoring. And now they have Office365 MDR monitoring making it ALL THAT BETTER! With their Security and Awareness Training, its an amazing suite of tools.

the SOC team is great. Quick to help if you have any questions on any detections but Huntress' reports are very thoroughly written so you can easily follow along and know what to do.

Super easy to install with your RMM, we use SyncroMSP. Integrates into Syncro and HaloPSA (our ticketing system) for easy billing to the client.

Now with MDR for Office365, SIEM logging, and Security Training, Huntress is becoming my favorite piece of my tech stack for my clients.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Wish it would do some malwarebytes stuff but the team outweighs that. Would be nice if the end user could schedule a scan or a deeper scan but again, not a big issue. They keep adding features!

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Since Huntress went on our systems, we got hits with AV or Malware and then it's been quiet after the first couple months. So that tells me it's doing its job and protecting our systems and the other system we had on the computers weren't doing as good as of a job. Now it is alerting us of people keeping passwords on their desktops in plaintext! It just keeps getting better.

updated:
Security training, Office365 MDR, SIEM and the SOC team, it makes our lives so much easier and gives me a peace of mind that my clients are protected. Security is the number IT issue in the last 10-15 years and huntress is doing its part for the community. It's just amazing. Keep it up!

  ### 3. Huntress EDR lets me sleep at night

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Huntress Managed EDR provides a truly hands-off experience with expert threat hunting and remediation. The team actively monitors alerts and takes action, even outside of business hours, which gives us peace of mind and reduces the workload on our internal IT team. Their reports are clear, actionable, and easy to understand—perfect for communicating with clients or stakeholders.

Also like the (fast) support!

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Would like more intergrations and support for linux

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Huntress Managed EDR helps us detect and respond to threats, while we can focus on other improvements for our customers. We like the 24x7, because we can't use our people around the clock.

  ### 4. Huntress EDR is simply the easy choice for EDR options!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Huntress' Managed EDR has very low learning curve, making this very easy for even entry level staff. The support staff have consistently been quick and exceptionally helpful with their communications. We use multiple services from Huntress on a daily basis to ensure we are safe and maintaining security for our clients. Their webinars are actually geared towards information and not just selling a product, which I genuinely appreciate.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

There's not much to dislike about Huntress. They simply put in the work to keep things running smoothly and I appreciate their approach to keeping everything working the way it should.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We can't be everywhere at once, and this service allows us to know right away if there is something we need to redirect our attention to. We have setup a weekly review of the portal to ensure this remains consistent, but more often than not there is very little that needs to be done or addressed.

  ### 5. Huntress EDR Always has my Back

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joe C. | Network Administrator - MSP, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Huntress EDR is very lightweight, but also does many things to protect our clients. It is very easy to deploy with our RMM Tools. We are instantly alerted to any detections and the automated response functionality of disabling the endpoint is crucial. Customer support is also easy to get in touch with which is always a plus in these security events.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

It can be a little noisy with False/Positives, but in the security world it is always better to be safe than sorry.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Huntress EDR is providing us with above and beyond protection of traditional AntiVirus and is working side by side with it. It protects us from new security threats such as Malware and Ransomware. The automated response is benefiting us because these threats need to be dealt with quickly when found and we are not always available when the threats are discovered. So Huntress has our backs so we don't need that 24x7 manual response.

  ### 6. Huntress Saved Our Client

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 05, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Huntress continues to provide us with valuable warnings.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

It is worth noting that while their SOC is 24x7x365, their technical support currently isn't. I'm told that is in the works.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Their 24x7x365 SOC helps monitor our clients networks during times when our business and their business may not be open.

  ### 7. A game changer for our team’s security

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Valentina A. | Incident response specialist, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

The major strength of Huntress Managed EDR is its ability to identify potential threats as soon as possible to eliminate them. How it integrates perfectly with other security platforms makes our security operations so efficient, not requiring much input from us. The alerts it provides are more understandable as well as executable, which allows us to make swift decisions for the subsequent phases. So far, it has been helpful in maintaining the protection of our endpoints it also has helped in preventing the incidences of security breaches.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Originally, Huntress Managed EDR is rather good product, but I found that this consumes a significant amount of system resources and that may, depending on the hardware, slows things down. At times, alerts overload the system, meaning an individual must filter through them to nab major threats. Furthermore, although the tool is sturdy, there seems to be limited ability to fine-tune it to various business requirements since this usually gives the impression of being a restricted exercise.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Huntress Managed EDR provides an effective solution to the problem by constantly notifying its users and providing actionable solutions all at once. We have been able to notice significant changes to the potential risks beforehand and act swiftly to security threats thus making the changes a success. Not having to work on as many occurrences, means that our team can prioritize on more relevant work without always being thrown by new threats or concerns.

  ### 8. Great product, awesome support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mike F. | Business Development, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

I like how complete the dashboard it, I like how responsive they are to threats, I like the clear and concise remediation instructions.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

I haven't seen any real downsides as of yet.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They are giving us a single pane of glass by which we can manage all the endpoints at all of our clients, they give us great remediation instructions and allow us to build custom playbooks.

  ### 9. Great explanation of security event

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tim H. | Managed Services Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 13, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

The security event was a the result of a false positve. However The technicians detailed explaination helped us determine that the clinet was using a vpn at home. They may not have otherwise admitted the use of which help us educate our client on best practices and this imfomation is useful to many of our clients. This event is not just a one off. Huntress EDR has prevented multiple issues another example was when a client clicked a fradulent email that creates inbox rules. Huntress EDR prevented the account from spaming all of their contacts which would have been a nightmare for them to have to mitigate. Anytime I see the Huntress team out at conferences I pay them a visit just to show gratitude. Love the T-shirts

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

We have yet to experience any downside or issue.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Huntress provides detailed explations of events. Clients never like to admit that they clicked on a bad link. Clients never take security seriously until it effects them. We are greatful to be a Partner.

  ### 10. Huntress. Or as I like to call it, peace of mind and a good night's sleep

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Luke V. | Senior ICT Technician, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 11, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Very easy to implement using Syncro, the dashboard is awesome, and the metrics are actually important. E.g. it's not just looking for threats, it also looks for firewalls that are disabled, files with passwords saved on peoples desktops, and M365 accounts with no MFA. When a threat is found, you don't get bombarded with information, they tell you if it's important to action immediately or if it can wait till the morning - no more late night calls for stuff that's not critical, I get an email that says "we found this, don't worry about it though - it's not an issue, fix it in your own time".

Support is insanely good, I've never waited longer than a few mintues!

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Some features need more work, such as the M365 MFA report - it only works for account susing the Authenticator app. The Security Awareness Training feels a big disjointed from the rest of the platform (because it isn't built into the Huntress platform yet, they recently bought Curricula and it's still it's own product for now), but it integrates perfectly with the Huntress platform and works really well.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sleepless nights. Also, giving me better visibility at-a-glance for the critical stuff like firewalls disabled and accounts missing MFA.

  ### 11. Amazing company to work with

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Huntress is extremely active in addressing issues both on the EDR and the ITDR fronts. They do a great job of filtering out the noise that an EDR typically creates and focusing you on the detections that truly matter. Their customer support is also the most professional, knowledgeable, and responsive out of any company that I have worked with.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

I have no complaints about Huntress and have only had positive experiences with them on all levels.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Immediate response and SOC team reviews

  ### 12. Comprehensive threat detection and prevention system

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jade A. | MSP Systems Technician, Internet, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

The good thing is that Huntress Managed EDR simplifies the process of both identifying hidden threats as well as remediation. It’s very user friendly and it just worked with our RMM tools already so it integrates easily into our work flow. What makes threat alerts so useful is that they come with expert recommendations, so we can fix vulnerabilities fast. The automation removes a lot of pressure off of our team, so we can continue to uphold high levels of security without any extra work.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

There’s a relatively limited number of reporting options in Huntress Managed EDR to offer which I do not like at all. Nevertheless, we cannot go as deep as we would like in the customization of reports, so often, there is a need for using other tools. Furthermore, the software can be more specific in its notifications as they seem to flood the system at one time. These weaknesses result in inefficiency during the period of high tasks workload.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Huntress Managed EDR is an incredibly good at finding stealthy threats, drastically reducing our manual investigation time. For much of this threat detection automation, it offers clear, actionable insight to help resolve things quickly. It helps us to cut loss and risk our clients being down time. It’s also a good tool for building trust from the client since we’re able to show the client how we proactively protect their systems.

  ### 13. You won't regreat the change

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Huntress Managed EDR is great. It provides you with exactly what you need for all of your MDR needs. The support team has been really great for us as well and we use it all of the time.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

It took a little learning to understand but now it is like second nature with the alerts and taking action.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps identify passwords.xlsx files that appear to be everywhere with our clients and it makes it show our POCs that we are monitoring for vulnerabilities. It also resolves cybersecurity insurance issues where they ask for compliance with MDR and clients previously just had an antivirus or other endpoint protection that was not MDR.

  ### 14. Helpful Team and Useful Reports, but Interface Can Be Cluttered

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

The team is very helpful and the reports are useful and dont waste our time like we have had with other EDR providers. The SAT campaigns are also very well done.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

The interface can be a little cluttered sometimes.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

EDR and ITDR and SAT are the features we are using currently.

  ### 15. Real Humans behind a platform experience that delivers on its marketing claims

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joshua P. | Chief Data and Analytics Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Huntress has real folks with an outstanding command of the English language behind their entire product portfolio. While the product works well, it really happens to be the people who stand behind the product that are outstanding. My experience with their support has been quick, to the point, and consistently provides a first time fix.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

This is a bit nitpicky, but they are obviously focused on Windows more than macOS or Linux distros, and the macOS security defaults make it VERY difficult for an end user to understand the extensions they have to approve in order to get EDR off the ground and fully functional. In truth, this is probably a bit of a criticism on Apple's philosophy of the end user administering their "computer experience."

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Huntress EDR in conjunction with other security products from the Microsoft (365) toolkit.

Every product or tool has blind spots, and we would rather work with ANYONE at Huntress over the anyone at Microsoft 100% of the time. Huntress gives us the peace of mind that our security controls are in place, and if there is an MS bug, Huntress provides the safety net we need so we don't have to depend on MS, who appears to be building the plane as they're flying it in midair.

Huntress provides a mature product that builds confidence internally, and also with our clients.

  ### 16. Protects our systems efficiently and effectively

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Samantha F. | Network Safety Officer, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

What I love most about Huntress Managed EDR is how it reduces the likelihoods of security gaps. It puts reports of threats into action, preventing issues from escalating so it’s free for other things to take up the time. The insights are always useful, and the system almost always catches things that would have otherwise skipped by. This complementing our current tools very well and giving us more levels of defense and the ability to continue to operate without interruption or downtime.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Huntress Managed EDR is pretty solid overall, with one downside being the how it deals with a select number of possibilities. Generally speaking, it’s a bit more of a common vulnerabilities type of thing and sometimes doesn’t get to more nuanced risks. Its response has thus relied on manual adjustments to fine tune its response. On top of that, it provides lots of valuable insight, but it may also generate alerts, not all of which are properly applicable to our environment, leaving us to spend time on false positives.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Because of the automation of so many of our security processes Huntress Managed EDR has left my team free to do more strategic work. And it just makes sure that we don't miss anything important on the daily grind of threat detection and response. It allows us to stay secure without having to handle so many alerts. Through its proactive approach, it has allowed us to resolve potential security issues, quickly and minimise the impact on operations.

  ### 17. My #1 Recommended Security Product

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Huntress EDR is simply the best product on the market. It is simple to manage, it is simple to deploy, and IT WORKS!! When we receive alerts from Huntress, it has a clear description of the problem and remediation steps to be taken. We were introduced to Huntress during a disaster recovery and were so impressed while working with their support that we have been recommending it to clients and using it internally ever since.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

When I have something negative to say about Huntress, I will let you know. No complaints as of yet.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has blocked ransomware, found footholds that were previously undetected, and even finds files that may contain passwords. Then provides clear steps on how to resolve.

  ### 18. Huntress is by far the best out there.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Melissa S. | Lead Client Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Huntress has been a game changer. They're catching things that SentinelOne never caught and notifying immediately. Huntress support is also next level, I've never had a bad experience reaching out to them and they've resolved everything on the spot and provided thorough insights and answers.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

I can't really think of a downside. Everything has been easy to implement and has been running smoothly.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The auto-remediations have prevented many disasters for our clients.

  ### 19. Huntress Ecosystem is easy to maneuver and keeps our clients safe.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** James C. | IT Consultant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Though I am new to the Huntress ecosystem, I have finding it's management interface intuitive to use and, specifically, quickly finding problems in our client's endpoints.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

At first it took a little getting use to where to find things - had to constantly go back to the Dashboard to find my way to a particular screen that I wanted.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Huntress is ensuring that no malicious code gets out on our clients networks and is contained to only one endpoint (if any). For us, this helps us manage the many client environments and ensure they are kept protected at all time further strengthening their trust in us.

  ### 20. Huntress Covers All the Bases

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

The agent finds everything. We are constantly jaw dropped and uttering the words "Wait it can do that too?"
Support is amazing
Documentation is amazing
Integrations are far and wide
Easy to use and easy to deploy
There's no alert fatigue
Finds vulnerabilities that others don't.
The UI is Clean

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Honestly cannot think of a single thing.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A broad one software solution to cover our bases with cyber security.

  ### 21. Effective, Efficient, & Simple service with great benefits to security

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yannick G. | Support Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 24, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

I've only ever had to contact Huntress Support twice off the back of security incidents that came about due to a historical breach however they managed to confirm and verify that it was in fact a historical incident and not an active ongoing one within a few minutes of me first messaging them. The support individual I spoke to was friendly and knowledgable about both the Huntress service and the app the security incident occured on making for a great experience.

Outside of the fantastic support the speed of alerts and quality of their remediation information and steps is top notch and simplifies the process of actioning a security incident many times over. Setting up new clients on a trial basis is a speedy process, and intergrating them into our existing ticket system was a breeze. Our organisation uses Huntress all the time and we reccomend it as an MSP to almost all our new clients.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

The UI initially can be a little bit unintuitive, once you've navigated it a few times however it's easy to understand, and even without training it's not too hard to figure out.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Huntress is helping resolve a wide variety of security issues that we are detecting as an organistion, ranging from security tightening on accounts that do not have a listed network usage location, to accounts being accessed over a VPN violating existing security policies. Huntress has helped to make our organisation and our clients more secure.

  ### 22. Huntress Managed EDR - Great Product

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mark H. | Technical Team Lead, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 08, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Since deploying Huntress, we have experienced a marked reduction in security incidents. For example, in the first six months, Huntress identified and mitigated 12 active threats, including 5 malware attempts and 3 suspicious user activities that bypassed our traditional antivirus solutions. These threats were neutralized before they could escalate, preventing potential data breaches.

Additionally, we've seen a 35% decrease in time spent on threat investigations, allowing our IT team to focus on other critical tasks. Overall, Huntress has brought an added layer of security that has been invaluable in safeguarding our infrastructure.

Huntress Managed EDR was easily deployed by our implementation team, with the entire process taking only a few hours from start to finish. Its seamless integration with our existing infrastructure required minimal configuration, allowing us to quickly enhance our security without disruption.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

The only aspect we’d like to see enhanced is the reporting customization, as more granular options would be helpful for tailoring reports to our specific needs. That said, the standard reports are comprehensive and provide valuable insights, and we’re confident that any future updates will continue to improve the platform.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Huntress Managed EDR is solving the critical problem of detecting and responding to advanced threats that traditional antivirus solutions often miss, such as persistent footholds and lateral movement within our network. By proactively identifying and neutralizing these threats, Huntress has significantly reduced our risk of cyberattacks and data breaches, saving us both time and potential financial loss. This has given our team peace of mind, knowing that even the more sophisticated threats are being continuously monitored and swiftly addressed.

  ### 23. Huntress EDR is the Best!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jonathan W. | Technical Support Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2022

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

While Huntress does an amazing job at providing peace of mind by checking systems for persistent threats your firewall and anti virus may have missed, what we appreciate the most is their passion for helping small businesses and the MSP community succeed. Additionally, Huntress EDR just works!

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

I wish that Huntress also provide additional services, such as managed web based firewall or SDWAN.

**Recommendations to others considering Huntress Managed EDR:**

Get yourself a trial and not only get excellent peace of mind and better protection but also support one of the most forthright and supportive companies in this space!

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A HUGE benefit is peace of mind, that a human is reviewing our covered systems for threats that other security layers have missed, both now or in the past. Also, it's easy to deploy and you don't need to micromanage it and provide endless configuration tweaks. It's been an install and then immediate returns. Huntress just WORKS!

  ### 24. An EDR that feels like you're working with real people!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael L. | Senior Technical Advisor, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 08, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Huntress provides accurate and informative reports about all incidents.

An accurate and complete timeline of events, accurately identified traces and footholds, and even easily scriptable removal instructions can be found in every applicable incident report.

There is far less junk to wade through than competitive products. We spend less time wading through false positives, and it's easy to make sane detection filters to weed out things like our other tools doing their job.

But my favorite part is the support.

With most EDR products the "security analysts" who are reviewing the case are very clearly not very knowledgeable. It can be frustrating to be receiving support and feedback from someone who clearly doesn't actually understand the detection themselves. With Huntress every single analysis and support ticket I have participated in has been handled by a knowledgeable and helpful tech who understood the issue at hand.

Integrates seemlessly with Microsoft Defender and so can be deployed immediately on all workstations without any additional implementation steps. We use it everywhere and every day now, replacing four other EDR and AV products with Huntress+Defender.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Some of the exceptions don't work in the way you would expect. This is especially true when exceptions have been set locally on a workstation that conflict with or supplant those set in policy.

It can be difficult to exempt software suites that use a lot of different executables, and is necessary to exempt them for performance reasons.

Performance impact is higher than some other products, but more middle of the pack here.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Drop in replacement for multiple different EDR and AV products, as well as allowing us to have piece of mind - I no longer worry something is going to happen overnight and I won't know. Huntress catches any incidents, locks the endpoints, and calls us if something happens.

  ### 25. Huntress has been a great experience, and keeps improving

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shawn F. | CISO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 08, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Huntress EDR has been easy to deploy, covers a good attack surface, and has been teaching our team about best security practices and how to resolve incidents that come in. I appreciate the good audit trail and integration with our PSA. Incident Reports are just the right length, detailed, and do a good job of explaining things. Automation is quick and works well, saves a lot of time for my team.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

I can't say there is something I dislike about Huntress EDR. Most of the non-critical noise it creates can be removed, but it's making our client's security posture stronger, so I don't count it as a dislike.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The EDR allows for a safe security layer to catch and stop threat actors that are able to gain access, often because a client didn't follow our recommendations, so that we can show our clients that their security gaps are actively being used.

  ### 26. Huntress is a comprehensive security tool that comes at a great price!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jared M. | System Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 08, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Huntress EDR comes at an extremely reasonable price point compared to competitors. Additionally, it can unlock the full potential of Microsoft Defender. This option makes it a great option for all customers. The SOC team is very knowledgeable and quick to respond to threats. I don't see many or any false positives. It's also extremely easy to setup. All of these things make it a no-brainer addition to companies looking to stengthen their security posture. The portal is also easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

I wish at times I had the ability to ingress the noise and data from sources myself as I view that as a limitation. Additionally, I wish it could fully ingress and integrate with MDE. The other thing that isn't necesarilly a dislike, but the Cloud MDR Response portion is in it's infancy so I look forward to seeing the product evolve.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the gap of adding a security team for our business; and evaluating threats wholistically.

  ### 27. Huntress for MSP

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jared R. | Systems Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2023

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Huntress is incredibly simple, it is as close to set it and forget it as you can be with a security product.
The reports are very clear, and remediation steps are outlined in a simple and understandable manner.
Response from ThreatOps is very fast.
Reps are very easy to talk with, and reply to email quickly!

5/31 Review Update:

We use Huntress daily, and they continue to provide excellent service and excellent support.
I did not mention previously, but installation is far simpler than any other MDR I have worked with. Installation is a simple script run through Powershell. No install files are needed, no packages need to be built. Script sorts out organizations on it's own.
Support integrations are easy to setup, and work fast and effectively.
We have started using MDR of 365, and it works fast and effectively, the monitoring is simple but effective.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

While the Windows Firewall is monitored, it is not managed. This would be very nice given the emphasis on Firewall monitoring.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is making out users complaints with Insurance.
It is provided users peace of mind that active incidents can be handled swiftly, even after hours.
It is providing us easy insight to the security posture of our clients.
It is meeting our client's budgets.
It is providing response to active threats faster than we every could.

  ### 28. Proactive threat detection for our network

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sharma S. | Incident Response Manager, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 23, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

I love how Huntress EDR gets you the tricky threats when other security teams miss them. It is not replacing our current security infrastructure but it works in conjunction with firewalls and the likes, antivirus programs, to name a few. With all this detailed reporting, we get better insights into incidents, and are able to respond faster and more effectively. It has helped us add this layer security for mitigating risks and securing our environment.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Huntress Managed EDR has the occasional false positives and I don’t like that they tend to occur when running a software update or making changes. The speed in support team resolving these issues is great but it regresses our workflow with some unnecessary disruption. It also would benefit from more granular alert setting customization options, which we would like to be able to set notifications to a specific threat level more effectively.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Huntress Managed EDR works on the issue of delayed threat detection by providing real time monitoring and immediate response. To us, this means seamless integration with our existing security infrastructure which allows us to take a very proactive stance on security. It has drastically decreased our IT team's workload to automate many of the reply processes, so we can focus on more critical items and help our defense posture.

  ### 29. Finally Some Peace of Mind

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stephen B. | IT Engineer lvl 2, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 07, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

I feel like there is a ton of value in huntress. First of all, Huntress was very painless to swith to from our previous AV. I am not doing manual audits of errors anymore or just wondering if my AV is doing anythign in general. I know real people are working on my behalf. The action steps are always super staright forward, and if I have any questions, they support is fast and friendly. I feel confident a tech at any level could complete these tickets so we can spread out the work. I don't actually find myself on the huntress page that often, but that is a good thing because we can easly send the agent to new comptuers and don't have many incedents.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

There is no way to set an expiration time on an access rule through the escelation setion, but I know they are working on adding this so not a huge con, mainly nitpicking here.
We mostly have Windows and Huntress works great, but Huntress doesn't seem the best choice if you have mainly Mac which might be a huge con depending on how you are setup.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I recieved a ticket that there was a potential virus on an endpoint. I was given the steps to remove everything manually, or I could choose to have Huntress do it for me. I went ahead and had Huntress do the work for me and verified everything looked right. It was very conveninet to know that I wasn't missing a step and potentailly leaving a vulnerability behind.

  ### 30. Huntress is amazing

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kegan B. | CTO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 08, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

The fact it works alongside Defender (that is already there on Windows devices) has a light footprint, installs in seconds, requires no additional programming through its own UI, and Just Works checks all boxes anyone could want. When you need assistance they answer and review any issue you have in near real time. The team members I have met and worked with are all a wealth of information.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

After a year of working with Huntress I am still waiting for that shoe to drop. They are rolling out new products quite often, they allow my small but growing MSP to participate in testing of new services. Our experience has been great. You all have set the bar high, just keep doing what you are doing!

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They are keeping consistant watch on endpoints of client devices. This allows time for my team to place higher focus on other pressing issues.

  ### 31. Excellent EDR and ITDR!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Richard D. | Compliance Team Lead, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Being able to quickly and accurately review incidents makes our response time that much faster. I am in the platform multiple times a day for referencing compliance controls. The SOC response has been within ~1-2 minutes of starting the live chat. They have been critical in helping us understand and investigate incidents.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

I have not found any real downsides. What I would like improved is a way to easily review AV scans and more information about quarantined files.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing AV and detecting malicious activity.

  ### 32. Defender management is better with Huntress

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Caitlin L. | Project Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 19, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Huntress is easy to deploy, manage, and provides the right amount of insight that we need to make better decisions about our infrastructure.

We were able to easily integrate Huntress on top of our existing Defender deployment. There are plenty of articles on the Huntress website covering a number of implementation methods to help automate the deployment of Huntress but there's also plenty of information on manual deployments as well. If you ever need any help understanding Huntress, Huntress' customer support team is not only highly responsive but they're also concise. You don't have to spend days going back and forth with their support team - you get your answer on the first reply. We use Huntress on a daily basis - the Huntress interface makes Defender easier to manage and we honestly prefer to manage in Huntress as much as we can.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Other AVs are supported, but we find that if you want to use MAV, that could be problematic. If we could get more support for MAV for different AVs, that would really change the game.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The Huntress interface has simplified Defender management and has saved us a great deal of time and resources.

  ### 33. Exceptional team from sales to support and great in the community.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kelly Speers, Author and I. | President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

They are prompt with alerts and have a team that starts working on the issue right away when threats are found, the support helps you when needed and provides details on how to remidiate as well as recommendations.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

there hasn't been anything we have disliked about Huntress. they have been great working with us and interacting in the community for MSPs.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The speed of detection and the different avenues they use to reach out when there has been a detection has been exceptional. Their availability to help have made the switch so much easier and enforces that it was the right decision for us.

  ### 34. Fantastic Product

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 27, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Every interaction I've had since we switched to Huntress 6 months ago has been a positive one. It has stopped numerous account compromises in their tracks, and identified previously compromised accounts that were not remediated properly. My first interaction with support was today, and my question was answered in less than a minute. Can't say enough good things about this product.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

The only issue we've run into since implementation is that some VPN platforms report as another - for example Mcafee VPN on iOS devices shows up as Tunnelbear. Norton 360 VPN shows up as "Hide My Ass VPN", so it's a bit confusing when dealing with those reports.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Huntress MDR is helping us keep our clients secure. It's alerting us when a compromise has occurred, long before we, or the client would have been aware of it previously.

  ### 35. Easy to implement - affordable Security Solution

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Manoah D. | Sr. Account Manager IT-Infrastructure & Managed Services, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

The product can be very well automated and many things are also evaluated automatically. In the past, we often ignored the dashboards of other products because only alarms appeared and it became a habit. With Huntress, we know that when an alert comes in, it really is an alert!

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

We would like to have German-speaking support - also in sales, as it is not easy for me and my colleagues to understand everything quickly

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Compliance requirements

  ### 36. Huntress - The top small/medium business EDR

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** anthony t. | CEO, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 11, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

The price point for Huntress is great. the detection is equivalent if not better than that of sentinelone and crowdstrike. The protection provided from Huntress is top of the line at a low price point. The team at Huntress has helped connect me with related industry experts and internal resources to help my company grown our capabilities.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Name recognition isn't quite there for Huntress yet. Several insurance companies security experts don't seem to be familiar with it as well as large company IT leaders. This creates a challenge with credibility that has to be overcome by showing the reviews by Gartner and other EDR reviews.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Huntress solves the critical problem of ensuring live monitoring is provided to each endpoint should unauthorized access be obtained. This reduces a common technique used by hackers to get a foothold in a network.

  ### 37. Great product, even better company!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeremy H. | Security Analyst T2, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 17, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

The data output is simple, clearly labeled, and makes sense. The remedation steps they provide are helpful and give insight to what they look for and need to do to clean up malicious data.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

I honestly have not found a dislike about Huntress Managed EDR. It's been spot on everytime we have recieved an alert. I've deployed Huntress to several clients and manage a number of the alerts. This is a platform and culture very few if any can possibly compete with.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It provides us with quick remedation for detections. Honestly when my shift is over I know Huntress is still working and protecting our clients.

  ### 38. Overall, the best out there

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adam E. | Security Tech, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 17, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

"Huntress Managed EDR has been a game-changer for our cybersecurity posture. The platform is incredibly easy to use and provides clear, actionable insights into potential threats. Their managed detection and response team works around the clock, ensuring nothing slips through the cracks. We've seen improved visibility, faster incident response, and a significant reduction in risks. The peace of mind knowing Huntress has our back is invaluable—it's like having an expert team always on guard. Highly recommended for any organization looking to strengthen their endpoint security!"

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

The portal could be a little more user friendly

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use it for hundreds of clients to secure thier infrastructure

  ### 39. MSP Using Huntress

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David C. | Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 18, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Huntress is easy to use, with just a few clicks to connect a tenent, or roll out the agent we can roll it out very easy.

If you ever need help, their customer support is very good with lots of documentation and the live chat is answered within minutes. We log into it every day to view our dashboard which shows all the clients in one view.

We also have it intregrated into our other platforms, so everything is in sync.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

The MDR platform needs a bit more work, but more gets added to it each week and it finds issues with client accounts when they get comprimised.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It gives us a SOC that is 24/7, we cannot hire something to do this due to the size of our business. The products price point sits at a point where my clients are happy with it.

  ### 40. Fantastic Product!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** philip@pdritsolutions.co.uk R. | Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 04, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

It just works, whilst this sounds obvious, this is often a frustrating point. Regardless of number of endpoints and creating a new organisation, the implementation is quick.

The support is second to none! We are able to contact the Huntress team and get our concerns address within good time.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

The main concern at the moment (although I understand it on the features roadmap) is that Huntress can be uninstalled by the user. This is not ideal as Huntress is likely to one of the first things uninstalled should a hacker gain access to the endpoint.

Huntress have reported they are looking at ensuring a pin or code will be required prior to successfull uninstalling, which is welcomed!

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Visibility - without this, you do not know what is going on. We are able to see a comprehensive level of the endpoints we support, with the added peace of mind from the 24/7 SOC team.

  ### 41. Huntress Managed EDR

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Noah R. | Gobal Network Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 10, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Huntress EDR has narrowed out a perfect spot in the field of Endpoint Protection in terms of access, affordability, and product features. The product is easy to install, integrate, and manage. Knowing there is a great team supporting you and reviewing the incidents takes a lot of stress off our shoulders. Their alerts are clear and concise so know when we need to jump in and they make it easy to review their suggested impact mitigations! We love Huntress and use it all the time!

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Honestly, there hasn't been anything thus far to complain about. The product and the interface do everything they need to and more.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Huntess protects all of our higher level endpoints where we need to know without a certainty of a doubt they will get monitored and protected.

  ### 42. Exceptional Product for a Killer Price

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

It has been a real pleasure working with Huntress. Coming away from a different EDR/Managed SOC product that completely failed to meet expectations, Huntress was a breath of fresh air. I performed a comparison of 4 separate products, including multiple demos and documentation review, in addition to outlining the failures of our legacy solution. I have no regrets about my decision to move forward with Huntress.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

The only nit-pick I have with Huntress is that currently you can only chat with support reps about detections - there is no capability to call, no matter the severity of the detection. These reps will also have to communicate with the SOC for more advanced questions. I'd like to stress that between the unique incident write-ups, remediation plans, and the chat support, there hasn't ever been a time where I felt like I didn't have the support I needed, but this is the one capability it would be nice to see Huntress address.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Huntress has been exceptionally powerful in cutting down noise and producing legitimate alerts with comprehensive, unique, and actionable recommendations. The automation they have enabled has also greatly unburdended our security team to focus on the warnings that matter.

  ### 43. Very powerful and easy to use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

The most helpful thing about the product is the fact that it is very easy to use and implement. If a device runs something malicious it immediatly isolates the machines and notifies us via our ticket integration. The support is also immediate with the chat we can open with support. Very nice product

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Not being able to control realtime protection through the portal. At time we have device that have been on for a while and real time protection turns off so we have to do registry changes or reboot the machine to fix it. Would be nice to get a option that fixes it automatically.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quickly isolating devices that may have negative impacts to the rest of the network

  ### 44. Powerful protection against cyber threats

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Laura S. | Senior network administrator, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 12, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

One thing I like much about Huntress Managed EDR is its ability to detect threats before they occur. One of the best features I deem advantageous is the way it actively scans all of our endpoints for aspiring malicious activity. I also love the way it just sits nicely on top of our current security tool set and let’s you use tools you already have. This integration we can address threat more proactively or practically, the general safeguard without the hindrance of work.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

One weakness that I have come across regarding Huntress Managed EDR is that it produces occasional false threats. Despite this, we need to be careful for these alerts may lead to unplanned investigations that waste the time and effort of our team. In addition, the design of the application may be improved as it is not very user friendly when it comes to some of its functionalities and sometimes it can be rather challenging to manoeuvre around some options hence we may end up wasting valuable time responding to emergencies or critical incidents.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Huntress Managed EDR solves the problem of endpoint security by offering continuous monitoring and threat detection. We can no longer be counted among those struggling to keep their businesses safe. Their reports allow us to gain insights which then inform our security posture and ultimately improving safety of our data and systems. We have a decent system in place so we can raise the red flag when something is coming up, and my colleagues and I feel more secure because of it.

  ### 45. Response, little effort to maintain, great support.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brad W. | Support & Integration Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 08, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

I enjoy how little maintenance Huntress takes to use. We can easily push out Huntress via our RMM service, making setup very easy. We've had two major threats since switching to Huntress and it was incredible how quickly Huntress isolated the devices, making it so the threat wouldn't spread. Plus, every time we've had to reach out to support, we've had nothing but great experieces.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

There are some instances where certain devices aren't fully compiant with Defender and it's not always obvious right away (as an MSP with 1500+ devices).

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Huntress takes care of any of the AV detection and threat assesment for our company. We have over 1500+ devices that use Huntress and can count on one hand the amount of issues we've had since using Huntress.

  ### 46. Huntress succeeds where few other EDR solutions even come close

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tim O. | President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Huntress scores 100% on not giving me false positives. All security info I get from Huntress is actionable and accurate.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Sometimes it can be a little bit laggy getting Windows Defender to report its status in Huntress.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Huntress allows me to have eyes on the threat landscape 24-7. It automatically remediates known threats while flagging things that are non-critical for review.

  ### 47. Huntress Setup

  ### 48. An irreplaceable part of our security stack, all around awesome product and team

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael F. | Cybersecurity Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 05, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Huntress is an extremely capable, well polished security solution that has consistently impressed me both in testing and in real world application. It has a small footprint and uses very little system resources, but has a complete, real-time view of the system and is able to quickly respond to suspicious activity and prevent it.

I've accidentally triggered Huntress a few times on my systems, but everytime it's happened, it was because I was doing something that would have reasonably looked quite suspicious from Huntresses viewpoint. No other security software, even other MDR/EDR's have been as vigilant and ready to act as Huntress has been. And the team is super responsive and just seem genuinely happy. Sales process was one of the most painless I've ever had in IT and they already had integration for our somewhat niche RMM/PSA software ready to go.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

I hope that a self-protection feature is added - as it is currently an administrator user could accidentally disable Huntress and while we would get alerted to that, I would rather prevent that situation from happening at all if possible.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Huntress goes above and beyond simply monitoring and reporting, it takes an active role in providing security. If it catches something, it takes action. It will lock a host down completely until it's been manually remidiated. This allows us to have to spend far less resources on actively monitoring our communications channels to be able to quickly respond to breaches.

  ### 49. Huntress has saved client relationships and so much timee.

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

The human led SOC is excellent. I've been using the platform for a few years now and have complete trust in the product. Extremely fast isolations. Excellent mitigation actions and scripts. Huntress' clean up scripts are fantastic and huge time savers. Extremely easy to deploy and manage. Support is extremely responsive. It is the perfect MEDR product for the MSSP space. It does not try to be all of the things like some other bloated EDR platforms. Fantastic sidekick to Microsoft Defender as well.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

I really can't think of anything I dislike about the platform. At one point they started hiding the names of their SOC team members working tickets behind the scenes, so it didn't feel like it has as much of a human touch, but that seems to have been changed back. Great platform.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Huntress is a fantastic tool for both prevention and for after action clean up efforts. We utilize Huntress agents to clean up environments that were not protected by the platform after compromise. Huntress locates all signs of infections and has fantastic remediation scripts to remove all traces of the threats.
