"Strong EDR for Enforcing Password-Protected File Access"
What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?

I like that EDR can catch users who navigate to password-protected files. We’re trying to enforce a stricter password policy to ensure everyone stays as safe as possible. It is incredibly easy to navigate the UI which I really appreciate. It is as easy to install onto devices as well, making the entire deployment process simple to integrate. What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?

I wish that there was more capabilities for users who already have a AV or EDR service installed on their computer, or a simple override feature. For example, in testing, I am trying to remove Datto EDR and HP Pro Wolf Security off my device to allow Huntress to work properly, but I cannot seem to uninstall these easily. I wish Huntress was able to work as seamlessly as Datto EDR can alongside Wolf Security. I attempted to reach out to SOC / customer support and did not receive a response, I emailed to incidents@huntress.com and never got a response, so I wish support was better at reaching back out. "Best Managed EDR solution I have used"
What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?

The overall management platform is incredibly easy to navigate and get to what I need. I can also easily see current issues, click through to get details of systems having problems and address issues very efficiently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?

To be honest out of ever platform I have used I don't really have anything bad to say about Huntress. I haven't run into any issues with deployment or management of the platform. IF I had to think of something it would just be ease of adding exceptions into the system. I would want a way to see a file or process get flagged and from that flag make an exception rather than having to pull data from that flagged service and create the exception from that. "Huntress helps me sleep at night!"
What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?

Previous Response: Huntress has proven to be an invaluable asset in our cybersecurity arsenal, catching threats that other security software often misses. The Host Isolation feature provides peace of mind, allowing us to address threats at our convenience rather than urgently at inconvenient times. The ability to receive text message alerts ensures that we stay on top of new threats promptly. The auto-remediation feature for low-level threats saves us a tremendous amount of time, making our operations more efficient. We highly recommend Huntress to everyone. We have deployed it across approximately 4500 computers for all our clients, and it integrates seamlessly with our RMM software. Additionally, their customer support is phenomenal, always ready to assist when needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Proactive Protection and Clear Notifications Make Huntress Stand Out"
What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?

It's proactive. It's a real threat happens to show up, it will take action and then notify me of what happened.

I also like the integration with O365. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?

There has been a cople of instances of users using VPN and Huntress has suspended their access to email. I only knew about the VPN rule when the problem occured. It's a learning experience. I am new to Huntress, but they explained what to do. The thing that can be frustrating is that when the O365 is suspended, I have to go to MS Entra and reactivate the email. If Huntress automaticall suspends it, why cant I just click on a butting on Huntress to activated? For someone not familiar with all the Microsoft universe, it can be hauting. "Intuitive EDR with Superb Integration and Support"
What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?

I really like the single pane of glass feature with other products, making it really nice to just see everything in one place. The user interface is super intuitive, and it's really easy to get ahold of someone if I need support with the embedded chat. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?

I think one of the pieces I would like to see in the future is the ability to write custom rules and create groups to apply them to and such. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Onboarding and Outstanding Support for MSPs"
What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?

Enables us as an MSP to bring a trusted, managed security solution to our clients, its easy to onboard with Huntress and the support has been second to none. Onboarding and managing additional clients is seamless. When an incident is raised, and it needs further action by us or the client, the info and next steps detail is robust, a highly detailed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?

I dont think there are any dislikes as such. Perhaps the console could be a little easier to navigate, and maybe a quicker way to log in that keeps the appropriate levels of security? Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Deployment, Reliable Security Solution"
What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?

I like that Huntress Managed EDR can seamlessly integrate with what we already have, such as Microsoft Defender for endpoint. This flexibility allows us to use it alongside our existing security measures, enhancing our overall security framework without the need for major overhauls. Additionally, I really appreciate the ease of deployment. The deployment process is very straightforward, offering scripts and packages with instructions that simplify pushing it out through our RMM. This ease of use translates to less time spent on maintenance and deployment, allowing us to focus on other important tasks. It also provides a central pane of glass that we've been wanting, reducing the need to log in and out of multiple consoles, which streamlines our workflow significantly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?

Occasionally, there had been issues with the alerting system where alerts would signal that the EDR or Defender wasn't functioning properly, but the alerts did not necessarily specify the client or device involved. This lack of specificity could impede troubleshooting and resolution processes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Essential Protection with Human-Led Precision"
What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?

What I like most about Huntress Managed EDR is the human-led threat hunting combined with clear, real-world guidance. It feels like having an experienced security team walking through your environment all the time, not just a dashboard with alarms and things like that. It's designed really well for my small team. The platform is lightweight, easy to deploy, and doesn't require constant tuning. It has a really strong focus on precision and attacker behavior. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?

One thing that could be improved for Huntress Managed EDR is the reporting and analytics tool. It's really simple to use, but I think a deeper and nicer reporting and analytics tool for the platform would be great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Best professional SOC team on the planet"
What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?

Having a top-tier SOC team monitoring our deployment gives us confidence that potential threat actors are being stopped before they can cause harm. Not only do they keep the bad guys out, but they also provide detailed explanations of each detected threat and deliver thorough remediation plans. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?

One limitation is the lack of options for creating customized, organization-specific detections. I would appreciate more robust Data Loss Prevention features, particularly for tailoring insider threat detection to our needs. It would be beneficial if the product could be expanded to cover not only initial footholds but also a broader range of potentially malicious activities by insiders or any actions that violate organizational security policies. "Huntress: The perfect Defense for MSPs"
What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?

We recently took Huntress up as our MSP main defensive software. Our Managed customers utilise the EDR and the ITDR. We use the Huntress portal every single day and it's the best software we have used so far.

Rolling out the software was incredibly easy via our RMM software for Windows devices, MACs are a bit more difficult but they always are let's face it. I was able to build a script that installed it in seconds via Ninja RMM.

We have already had several incidents that Huntress has prevented, this includes smaller issues like detecting a spreadsheet containing passwords to more severe issues like Malware being deployed. In both cases, the reports generated by Huntress are easy to read and contain clear instructions on how to remediate the issue.

The EDR works extremely well with Windows Defender and the two products work seamlessly together.

I have recently used the live chat support option and go through to a tech in about 30 seconds, the chap I spoke to knew what he talking about and was able to effectively assist me in my problem.

Update: Still no issues but 100s of attempts on our customers foiled by Huntress 10/10 Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?

As stated previously we rolled out our Huntress via RMM. There is a MAC RMM script but this only installs part of the software. You still need to manually allow full disk access for the extension. A small issue but one I hope they will be able to fix someday.

Update: MAC rollouts are still painful but as we all know thats just standard problems with MACs :) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
