It includes an MSP and takes away the need for me to manually monitor, configure and deal with building things out on my own. A lot of the logs they already have parsers built for - which means i don't have to build them out on my own - and they have a team that is always monitoring which allows me more time to do the other things that i need to do. When i need custom things built - it is very difficult as I am not able ot build out custom items to support things that may be specific to my company needs and I do lose that complete control over my logs to create custom parsers if I connect logs from a system that they may not have something built out fully for yet. I used to lie awake at night wondering if Kevin from Accounting was clicking suspicious links again. Now? I sleep like a baby—because Arctic Wolf’s got eyes everywhere.

Their MDR team is like the SEAL Team 6 of cybersecurity—silent, efficient, and slightly terrifying in the best way possible. I get alerts faster than I get Slack messages, and trust me, that’s saying something.

But the real MVP? The Risk Dashboard. I check it more than my bank account. It points out vulnerabilities like that brutally honest friend who tells you when you’ve got spinach in your teeth. Only instead of spinach, it’s gaping security holes.

Every day I log in and it’s like:

“Hey, you might wanna fix that thing before it turns into a dumpster fire.”

I'm just nitpicking but I'd like some more options in sorting the Risk Dashboard. Also, sometimes there are so many alerts it becomes daunting to go through them all but that's just the name of the game in IT Security. But all that is configurable and AW support can snooze alerts for you that you know are benign. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Arctic Wolf provides my team and me with the tools, sensors, and early-warning system to manage all data flowing through our network and endpoints proactively. In doing so, any possible security alerts are triaged and/or escalated by their Concierge/SOC teams to ensure my business has round-the-clock protection 7 days a week.

I like that it reacts very quickly to any threat or incident that is flagged either on our network or with any of our user's accounts. I brought Arctic Wolf into the last two companies I have worked for. The previous company had around 100 employees, and I needed help meeting PCI and SOC2 monitoring, detection, and response requirements. After reviewing the costs to accomplish those needs in-house, I started looking for partners that could fill that niche. Arctic Wolf was cost-competitive but the real selling point for me was their footprint, implementation, communication, and relationship. Arctic Wolf easily fulfilled my compliance requirements and strengthened our security presence. Any questions or requests I had were quickly responded to and addressed. I had multiple instances of moving targets in relation to PCI compliance, where Artic Wolf was able to help me identify vulnerabilities or concerns between an initial PCI scan and a re-scan.

At Silk Road Medical, they also had a monitoring, detection, and response need that was too expensive to bring in-house. While my responsibilities were not security, audit, or compliance-focused at Silk Road Medical, I introduced Arctic Wolf to my peers.
