**What do you like best about Hire2Retire?**

The best part of the Hire2Retire solution is the exceptional customer service.  During the implementation process, they provided a white-glove support all the way through to the go-live process.

**What do you dislike about Hire2Retire?**

The solution was sold as a direct integration to Paycom.  However, when we got to the implementation phase, we ended up having to make some consessions on the configuration and utilize a secondary method.  This was really not RoboMQ's fault, but moreso on the Paycom side.  Paycom is not easy to work with and was reluctant to provide integrations to another system.

**What problems is Hire2Retire solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hire2Retire enables us to automate the employee lifecycle process and ensure a single source of truth for employee data.  This reduces errors in employee data as well as providing a way to ensure consistency in data.

**What do you like best about Hire2Retire?**

It’s been very helpful for our employee setup. We use the employee onboarding and creation features all the time, and we also have it set to update automatically for our roles, which is a huge time-saver.

**What do you dislike about Hire2Retire?**

I don’t dislike anything about Hire2Retire.

**What problems is Hire2Retire solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It’s helped solve the inconsistencies we used to have with employee creation and which groups people were being added to. As a result, onboarding is much simpler, and employee termination is much simpler as well. It will automatically delete an employee account if they’ve been terminated for more than two weeks, which is something we used to forget to do. It also automatically disables accounts for users who are going on leave.

**What do you like best about Hire2Retire?**

Hire2Retire enabled us to connect our HRIS (BambooHR) to Microsoft Azure to automate new hire onboarding.  When I new hire is added to BambooHR - within minutes they have a profile set up on Azure for us to begin getting their laptops ready.  The feature to automate hiring emails is fantastic too, so new hire information (customized) is shared to IT, Managers, etc.  We use the tool every day and it has made this much easier.

**What do you dislike about Hire2Retire?**

The UI could be improved, and as a non-technical user it took some getting used to, but once I understood and started using the functionality it's fairly easy to update as processes change internally.  It's not a dislike, but rather a tip for other users who may be in HR (vs. IT), to involve your IT team early and on every call.  We made some errors early on in implementation by misunderstanding a few things (on our side) which slowed down implementation.

Update as of 4/2026 - We continue to see time savings through the use of Hire2Retire.

Reduction of manual passing of data between HRIS and IT systems.  It also automates notifications of hires, terms and even has the ability to send new remote users their password automatically the morning of their first day to login to the company laptop.

**What do you like best about Hire2Retire?**

I like how Hire2Retire manages the complete employee lifecycle, including timely onboarding, changes, and terminations. I've noticed a great improvement in the consistency of our Active Directory entries, permissioning, and overall responses to audits. The support is fantastic and has implemented changes based on my feedback. I also value the tool's ability to match fields from our HR system to Active Directory while maintaining our branding and naming conventions.

**What do you dislike about Hire2Retire?**

The GUI could be better, but once you learn it, everything is within easy reach. Setup was complicated, but only because of our environment. In a simpler environment, it could have been deployed quickly. We were also in the process of acquiring a company, so the goal posts kept changing.

i really enjoy how it was easy to intergrate into our environment. the staff helped us every step of the way. they constantly keep in touch and inform us of new features and how to better optimize out intergration as they develop the product. it's simplified our on boarding process.

**What do you dislike about Hire2Retire?**

In the beginning, it was hard to read because we had a lot of formulas. However, as the product has improved, it has moved toward a more user-friendly way to customize the flows. There are still formulas that can be confusing at times, but they’re clearly trying to develop it into a low-code/no-code style, and I really love that approach.

**What problems is Hire2Retire solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows us to take the human element out of our onboarding and offboarding process. There are no more typos or accidentally onboarding inactive employees due to HR issues.

I like that Hire2Retire is automated and handles day-to-day tasks that would otherwise require someone to be assigned. I also appreciate that it keeps our Microsoft Entra data accurate and in place. With any changes, it reduces the need to update information in multiple places all at once.  It has completely automated our onboarding and offboarding processes.

The onboarding is obviously a very large undertaking just because of all of the intricacies to be considered when implementing an automation system. The onboarding was good. However, I feel like maybe there could be some ways to improve upon it.

I use Hire2Retire to streamline onboarding and offboarding, which saves our HR department time. It ensures our data is accurate and integrates smoothly with Microsoft Entra, reducing manual data updates.

I find Hire2Retire very intuitive and easy to use. When I have questions, RoboMQ support is fantastic.

Hire2Retire does a great job managing our employee accounts.  Transfers and rehires don't work in every situation, but that's due to complexity in our system configuration.  Simplifying our overly complex environment is the real solution to make those work, so that's not a downfall of Hire2Retire in my opinion.

**What problems is Hire2Retire solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Hire2Retire for managing employee lifecycles, including new user account creation, account updates, and disabling terminated user accounts.

I like how easy Hire2Retire is to use. I also appreciate how quickly the Hire2Retire team addresses my requests and builds the suggestions I ask for whenever I need something new added to the product. The initial setup was very simple and we were up and running in no time at all.

The setup of the groups could be improved if it was quicker to select them. It takes a little bit of time to set that up on the security group, but other than that, it works well.

Hire2Retire ensures all new employees are assigned their correct Office 365 security groups and any permissions needed for new hires and for job changes accurately.

It runs inside a Linux Docker app, which requires specialized support.

Instantaneous updates to AD have improved our onboarding and termination processes. There’s no longer any waiting for passwords to be delivered to new employees, which makes the whole experience smoother and more efficient.

I really find the support to be world-class. If there's ever an issue, they're on it. Hire2Retire makes tasks like user creation, onboarding, and offboarding incredibly simple. It's great for handling those repetitive, tedious tasks because it simplifies and automates everything. I also assume their support makes the setup fantastically easy even though I wasn't involved in the initial step.

I love it's seamless integration into our Microsoft and Salesforce environments.

**What do you dislike about Hire2Retire?**

When we first started using Hire2Retire a couple of years ago, it was missing a few features. Since then, they’ve added a lot—everything we were looking for and then some. I’ve never worked with a company that implements customer feature requests so quickly, and on top of that, the new features all work flawlessly!

**What problems is Hire2Retire solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It’s helped solve a lot of the inconsistencies we used to have between our HR data and the IT staff who were manually setting up user accounts. Now, whenever something changes in ADP, it’s automatically updated in our Microsoft and Salesforce environments. We love it!

I like that the Hire2Retire team is very involved in their product development process and is open to ideas from customers. During the sales process the involved parties were also all very knowledgeable about what their product can and can't do.

Implementation process can be a bit involved. However, the post-sales support and onboarding process was a big help.

**What problems is Hire2Retire solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solves the back and forth that was occurring between our IT department and the HR team when onboarding and offboarding employees. This has benefited both teams as the time saved can be spent on higher value tasks.

Hire2Retire takes care of all the repetitive parts on onboarding and offboarding.  When I have specific needs that are odd or unusual it is surprising how quickly a solution is crafted, or a new feature is added.  The technical team is responsive and easy to work with.

**What do you dislike about Hire2Retire?**

When I attempt to update automation and transform configuration myself, it rarely works as expected until I contact support.  They wave their magic wand, and it starts working.  It would be nice if I could self-service a bit better.

The product is very reliable and has been an great addition to our tool set we use daily. It integrates with our HRIS to complete user account creation and terminations. I works great to update user details when they change positions or have a manager change. No longer requires interaction from a user to update.

Wish they had some better process to handle the immediate terminations.

**What do you like best about Hire2Retire?**

The staff are diligent in helping you get set up, and they address bugs and filter issues effectively. Everyone I have interacted with has been extremely helpful. Currently, we are only using the product in a limited capacity, connecting our Active Directory to a third-party SaaS. However, based on our experience so far, we can easily see ourselves expanding our use of the product in the future.

**What do you like best about Hire2Retire?**

The Hire2Retire system is wonderfully easy to use and can be learned quickly by any seasoned systems admin. The support is quick and always looks to help. I cannot wait to see as new features become available. It was relatively easy to implement and integrate into both Active Directory and Office 365.

**What do you dislike about Hire2Retire?**

There are a couple of UI bugs when assigning groups that have a large number of parameters. It will make the fields shake rapidly. Also, having to manually specify the AND/OR coniditions in a CSV twice is a bit cumborsome and can lead to errors. We opted for the on-prem agent and it works well but getting the Docker container to run automatically and without keeping a user logged into the server is a bit difficult.

Hire2Retire makes it so that our technicians do not have to constantly onboard and offboard user accounts, freeing up time for more technical work.

**What do you like best about Hire2Retire?**

Hire2Retire is very easy to configure.  It also allows for multiple configurations and complex situations.  There is logic built-in that is very simliar to Excel's formulas.  The product doesn't just create accounts and terminate accounts, but you have a lot of control over groups security, naming conventions, etc.  There are also a large number of templates that you can customize for notifying users, managers, etc. on key events related to onboarding or offboarding.  They release new features on a regular basis and do listen to customer requests for new features.

**What do you dislike about Hire2Retire?**

I am very happy overall and I would recomment Hire2Retire.  There have been errors and issues, but they respond quickly and address the problem.  The only complaint I have is that some issues get pointed back to your HRIS vendor.  That happens with all solutions, but as an end user, it is frustrating to get someone to own the problem.  All issues have been resolved, but that is my only negative comment.

Extremely dedicated support team assigned to your account. They will do the impossible to accommodate your needs and customizations. We needed to integrate UKG Pro with our environment (hybrid Microsoft AD + Entra AD) and it works like a charm. Plenty of options to automate what would take a lot of time if done manually.

**What do you dislike about Hire2Retire?**

So far, so good. We had a few things that were not natively supported by Hire2Retire but their team made some custom adjustments to make it work for us.

**What problems is Hire2Retire solving and how is that benefiting you?**

our HRMS system is UKG Pro. Our HR team uses it to everything that is related to users (ID, name, address, phone number, department, etc.). HR needed to send our IT team an email everytime a new user was added to their system. Also, when some changes happened (change of title, manager, departement, office, etc.). Same thing when an employee is leaving the company. So, everytime they do somethig in the HRMS system, we need to take actions based on the info we get. With Hire2retire, we were able to automatize all these process, make sure there were no errors, send alerts when action X is needed or done, etc. 

Now, it's a lot easier for us to do all these tasks since most of them are now done automatically. We can use our time working on stuff with added values instead.

My company sometimes has very specific circumstance that are hard to accommodate by the product. However, with many of the upgrades that have come out it has been positive.

Interface to our HRIS solution made the transition from our on-premises solution to the cloud-based solution smoother than ever. We were able to eliminate our hybrid environment and move exclusively to the cloud. Support team is very knowledgeable and willing to work through every little detail throughout the implementation.

It would be nice to have a step function that allows for stepping through the workflow one step at a time to monitor and debug.

We needed to replace an on-premises provisioning solution with a cloud alternative. We shut down the old solution and went back to manual user provisioning. The product itself is incredibly intuitive and integrated smoothly into our environment. Its automation features allow us to use it daily without any concerns. And once again, the customer support has been exceptional—if they don’t have an immediate answer, they make a real effort to find it and always follow up in a timely manner.

There were sometimes challenges integrating with Paycom, but I do not believe this to be Hire2Retires fault. It was just an inconvenience.

We've consistently faced issues with our HR and payroll system not aligning with our Active Directory infrastructure, leading to frustration for end users. With Hire2Retire in place, this problem is resolved—both systems will now be in sync, ensuring accuracy across the board. Moving forward, much of the responsibility will fall on the HR department to maintain the integrity of the HR system.

Hire2Retire streamlines several processes for us that were either delayed or non functioning.  Most importantly new employee information and changes such as job title or manager were delayed in many of our IT systems.  Hire2Retire automates that handoff and within 24 ours of a change in the HR system it has been entered into Active Directory.

The 1 and only time I needed to put in a trouble ticket I could not find a ticket button on the website and sent an email to our implementation manager instead.  The issue was quickly resolved afterwards.

**What do you like best about Hire2Retire?**

After deciding to automate the onboarding / offboarding process, we evaluated multiple vendors in the space, but no one had the configurability of RoboMQ's Hire2Retire product. There are multiple postivie outcomes that include automated onboarding and offboardings, all with notifications to appropriate staff members to ensure all applicable parties are made aware of any staff changes. Another benefit is that with Hire2Retire, we have one single source of truth (the HRIS) and with the integrations into either Active Directory or Entra ID, we can ensure that all HR changes are synced to all of our enterprise applications. Previous to implementing Hire2Retire, IT was dependent on HR notifying IT on any changes to preferred names, titles, reporting structures, office locations, etc. Now, with Hire2Retire, we ensure that all of our enterprise applications display the same information and any change is updated in a timely manner. 

The implementation team did  a great job, and although we did encounter a road blocker, the team at RoboMQ "made it right" and ensured that our implementation could continue. The staff care about their customers, and you feel valued. The support team moves quickly and even catches errors without needing to open a ticket. Release cycles are stable and predictable, all the bug issues we've encountered are quickly patched. 

With Hire2Retire, our onboarding process is smooth. Integrations into popular ticketing systems ensure that notifications can go out for equipment purchases, etc. I am extremely pleased with the product and the team behind the product.

**What do you dislike about Hire2Retire?**

Honestly, there's not much I dislike about the product.

**What problems is Hire2Retire solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Onboarding was always difficult and manual. Information about onboardings came across from an online form that HR used, but many fields were free text and lead to multiple iterations of the same thing. Road vs. Rd. Manager vs. Mgr., etc. With Hire2Retire, we now have standardization across all accounts for naming, locations, titles, managers, and departments. This has helped immensly for other applications that pull information from Active Directory. Offboardings were not always reported to IT in a timely manner. We now pull information from ADP and offboardings occur on the day that they happen. There is also the capability to immediately terminate employment and with all of our applications integrated with SSO, we can ensure that access to senstive corporate applications is terminated when it should be.

Simple setup to integrate HRIS and IDP systems. Lots of customizations and easy to use interface. Support staff is great to work with during setup and very accomodating.

Initial setup can be a bit daunting (HR to IDP data mapping) but support staff is extremely helpful in handholding. Some minor bugs were discovered during implementation but their product team was quick to address.

Our HRIS and IDP systems were not integrated, resulting in disparate information existing between the two. What I like most about Hire2Retire is the User-friendly platform which includes tools and interfaces, which can simplify the process of setting up and managing integrations, even for users without extensive technical expertise.  Also, the flexibility it offers on how data is handled and exchanged between systems. It integrates with existing HR and payroll systems, it ensures that all relevant data is accurately accounted for, reducing the risk of errors and administrative burden.

The support team are exceptional, they're always on hand to help resolve any issue in real-time.

**What do you dislike about Hire2Retire?**

if the platform is not intuitive or user-friendly, it could pose a challenge for those who are not tech-savvy. It’s always a balancing act between providing comprehensive tools and ensuring ease of use.

I use Hire2Retire to integrate the existing HR and payroll systems, providing a seamless flow of accurate data and reducing the risk of errors in benefit calculations and administration. It spins up our accounts and assigns groups through our hybrid system in conjunction with our HR and onboarding system and experience. It also allows us to have immediate access cut off in a singular place - controlled by one group, vs stragglers - keeping things secure and compliant at all times.

**What do you dislike about Hire2Retire?**

It can be a little confusing to use and while it's nice to have granularity for different systems and specific variables and attributes, it does take a bit of elbow grease to expand it outside of scope that is likely the main purpose of procurement to begin with.

Spinning up Accurate and timely accounts that span across our Hybrid systems and removing access to various systems and shut down rapidly in terminations that keep us compliant and secure.

This is a very easy to use product when configuring and implementation with the team was great. The team are very reseptive to feedback and implementing new ideas that you would like to see. Very quick responses on questions and very knowledgeable on how the product works.

Web interface can be slow when adding a large amount of rules but is very minor.

**What do you like best about Hire2Retire?**

Hire2Retire is a full SaaS integration product to streamline workforce management. The onboarding is very quick with the customer success team and they made sure that we integrated the HCM system with Azure AD in no time. This is a project on its own and it will take months to complete, then support and maintenance. It took only a week to launch in production.  This is the easiest way to integrate HCM with Azure AD; no technical knowledge is needed to manage this. Employees are onboarded and leaving every week and this tool removes a big chuck of manual processes in that.

There were a few integration failures, and they contacted my team to look at it proactively.

**What do you dislike about Hire2Retire?**

There is nothing to dislike in this product. It is working as expected and reduced lot of effort for integration, support and maintenance. .

**What problems is Hire2Retire solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Onboarding and offboarding should be quick without any manual intervention and glitches to be compliance and increase employee satisfaction.

**What do you like best about Hire2Retire?**

Hire2Retire has made our processes of onboarding, keeping employee info up to date, and access removals, so much easier. It has been a time saving lifesaver and we're glad we found it. The best part is that as we customized it for our needs, they were right there every step of the way, always responsive and ready to assist.

**What do you dislike about Hire2Retire?**

Right now it's the limitation of the ruleset for making distribution lists dynamic based on rules, but that's partially a limitation of our own data unfortunately. They are already working on how they can improve it for us and their other customers.

**What problems is Hire2Retire solving and how is that benefiting you?**

HR never telling us when job titles/departments/managers etc.. changed, now RoboMQ does it all and it saves the headache of users having to enter tickets to get that info updated. 

Getting user accounts created quickly and efficiently whereas before it was all manual. 

Access removals are much faster and all the data is captured so we can give that to auditors to show them the proof of access removal, etc...

Support team is top notch and quick to respond.  Needs to learn when to take the lead in a situation rather than letting an issue languish for days on end.

**What do you dislike about Hire2Retire?**

The constant bombardment of workflow failures despite there being no changes on the client side.  I should NOT have to log into this app daily for fear of missing an error that could cause issues in our enterprise.

Automated user and group provisioning.  At least that's how it started.  We have since stopped adding workflow rules due to the complexity and frequency of errors we encounter.

Automateing setting up new users in AD as well as adding them to the groups they need based on rules so takes the human error out of the picture and streamlines setting up new users. In addition, does the same for terminating users as soon as HR processes them to mitigate the risk of users having access after being terminated. When and if support is needed they are easy to get ahold of and resolve issues quickly.

**What do you dislike about Hire2Retire?**

Sometimes the interface can be a bit slow navigating between windows but isn't a deal breaker.

Solves the element of human error for new hires and terminations.
