"Decodo Delivers Outstanding Support and Easy-to-Use Proxies"
What do you like best about Decodo (formerly Smartproxy)?

Decodo has some of the best customer service I’ve experienced. Their AI assistant is very well trained and has helped me resolve numerous questions. For anything the AI couldn’t answer, I was transferred to a human agent within seconds. It has never taken longer than 30 seconds for me to reach human support, and they always seem to be available.

Decodo clearly puts the customer first. When I asked about getting a free extension on my subscription because I barely used it during the first month, they actually refunded the full amount for that month and let me renew for a whole month.

Their services are also very easy to use, and the API documentation is detailed and straightforward. Implementation was quick because I was able to use some of their code samples directly in my deployment. Decodo’s rotating datacenter proxies have integrated flawlessly into my projects, and setup is simple—just set port 10000 and they handle the rest. I also use Decodo’s proxies in my daily work with one of their static IPs, and it’s been great overall, with good ping and solid ease of use.

Decodo is overall a great value for money with their data and plan pricing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Decodo (formerly Smartproxy)?

The only limitation I’ve personally run into is the limited range of available ports. That said, this feels completely reasonable, since almost every other proxy provider I’ve used has the same limitation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reliable Proxies That Just Work"
What do you like best about Decodo (formerly Smartproxy)?

Decodo is very reliable and easy to work with. The proxy network is stable, fast, and consistent across regions, which is critical for web data extraction at scale. Setup is straightforward, the dashboard is clean, and integrations with common scraping tools work without much friction. I also like the flexibility across different proxy types and the clear usage metrics, which make it easier to monitor and control costs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Decodo (formerly Smartproxy)?

Some advanced configurations and edge-case troubleshooting could be documented better, especially for more complex scraping setups. Pricing can feel a bit high at scale, and clearer guidance on choosing the right product tier upfront would help avoid trial-and-error. That said, these are more refinement issues than blockers. "A fast and efficient mobile proxy"
What do you like best about Decodo (formerly Smartproxy)?

I like how i am able to customize my mobile proxy, how i was able to change my location and sticky duration in my mobile proxy. I like they offered a pay-as-you-go plan because it allows me to evaluate on how much data i can spend in a period of time. I like how their chatbot can actually answer some of my concerns, it's not an automated bot to give generic replies. i also like that their customer support is willing to ask their it if its a deep issue, their staff actually give effort to a specific query when i was troubleshooting to get the proxy to work in my system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Decodo (formerly Smartproxy)?

I think there's a lack of explanation on how the mobile proxy can be used, i wasn't aware of users in mobile proxy until i asked via customer support before purchasing. I think they should add more context on the difference on buying a pay as you go plan and a normal subscription data plan. And another feature is that the proxy is picky on the dns server you need to use. I had to configure a wireguard server that allows the proxy to get the proxy. "Reliable, well-documented proxy infrastructure with strong performance and support"
What do you like best about Decodo (formerly Smartproxy)?

Decodo stands out for its ease of use and ease of implementation. The dashboard is intuitive, proxy credentials are simple to configure, and integration with existing tools is straightforward, requiring minimal setup. The platform offers a well-balanced number of features that cover most use cases without adding unnecessary complexity. Proxy performance is stable enough for frequent, daily use, and the clear documentation further simplifies deployment and maintenance. When support is needed, customer support is responsive and helpful, which adds confidence when scaling or troubleshooting integrations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Decodo (formerly Smartproxy)?

For lower-volume or experimental use, pricing can feel slightly high. While customer support is responsive and knowledgeable, advanced technical scenarios could benefit from more in-depth examples or implementation guides. Feature-wise, most needs are covered, but a few advanced configuration options could be more visible in the dashboard. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Honest and very responsive customer service."
What do you like best about Decodo (formerly Smartproxy)?

Honestly, I really appreciate the quality of their customer support and the transparency of their billing policy. The team was very responsive. Their explanations were very clear, and I really liked their support. They also honored their 14-day money-back guarantee without any problems, as soon as the conditions were met. It's rare to find a provider of real estate agents who are so professional and honest with their clients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Decodo (formerly Smartproxy)?

The dashboard interface is very clean, but I would have liked to have diagnostic testing tools (such as a DNS leak test or fraud score) directly integrated into the client area. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless, Scalable Solution That Just Works"
What do you like best about Decodo (formerly Smartproxy)?

I'm super busy, I need tools I can fire and forget. Most things are not, most tools are also configuration heavy and try and do too much or don't do a very specific thing well.

I use Decode everythday and it solves a very specific problem and has solutions for that variations of the problem and for me, it is fire and forget. I just set it up and I never have to worry about it or change it.

Also, I love that they will scale when I need to. From 1 IP to thousands if I need. So long as I have the budget, they have the scale. Happy days.

I have not yet used their API integration but their chrome plugin is superb. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Decodo (formerly Smartproxy)?

One of the only bugbear I have about it is in the chrome extension, that when a new browser opens, or the machine restarts, the proxy is not immediately active. I have to unset and reset it. This may be a problem with the underlying chrome extension constraints. (dunno). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"it is the best for dedicated residential static proxies."
What do you like best about Decodo (formerly Smartproxy)?

it offers all types of high quality proxies that any professional might need, and everything is organized by proxy type with a detailed information about each type.

you can specify the country, state, city and this is the golden feature for me, and for rotating proxies you can set rotating duration.

i bought a static residential dedicated ISP, and i immediately checked the IPs (i got 3 IPs for 9.99$), and the results was perfect, 0 on fraud indicators, no proxy detected, it is fast, reliable and dedicated, you are not sharing IPs with any other users, completely yours, and so far i haven't encountered any problems.

in the beginning i had to contact support because i initially chose the wrong type of proxy and received an immediate response, i explained what happened with me, and it took them about 5 minutes to check my account, then they refunded my wallet, and guided me to buy the correct proxy type i needed, they offer 14 days money back. and they accept paying with crypto Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Decodo (formerly Smartproxy)?

the website interface is not as simple as it should be, it lacks simplicity and confuse you. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Top class Residential IPs with easy to use dashboard"
What do you like best about Decodo (formerly Smartproxy)?

The reliability of their residential IP pool is the standout feature for me. It’s rare to find a service that offers both a 3-day trial and a 14-day money-back guarantee, giving you plenty of room to test the product in a real-world environment. I also really value the efficiency of their support team; I had a specific technical question during my trial, and their chat support answered it almost immediately. For a developer, having an API that is easy to plug into Python scripts without complex workarounds is a massive plus.

How easy is to switch to restricted pool based on Geography is another huge win for me Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Decodo (formerly Smartproxy)?

There isn't much to complain about regarding performance, but the pricing structure for residential data can get expensive if you're running high-volume scrapes, as it’s based on traffic usage. I also think the dashboard could be a bit more streamlined for users who only need to manage a single project, as the interface is clearly built to handle enterprise-scale needs. However, these are minor trade-offs for the stability the service provides. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Outstanding Experience from Start to Finish"
What do you like best about Decodo (formerly Smartproxy)?

What I like most is how easy it is to get started and keep things running reliably. The dashboard is clean, the documentation is straightforward, and the proxy performance has been stable for my use cases. I also appreciate the variety of proxy options and locations, plus the flexible configuration (sessions/rotation) that makes it simple to match different workflows. Support has been responsive when I needed clarification, and overall it feels like a service designed for practical day-to-day use, not just for “power users.” Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Decodo (formerly Smartproxy)?

The main downside is that pricing can feel a bit high once you scale up usage, especially if you’re doing heavy traffic or multiple projects at once. Occasionally, I also need to test a few endpoints/locations to find the best performance for a specific target site, since speeds and success rates can vary depending on the destination. It’s not a deal-breaker, but it would be nice to have more built-in insights (like clearer success-rate analytics per target/location) to reduce trial and error. "Exceptional Support and User-Friendly Interface"
What do you like best about Decodo (formerly Smartproxy)?

What immediately struck to me was reachability to the staff whenever you've questions. You'll instantly found someone to assist you even during off hours. It help me immediately decide based on my urgent project needs and demands. The simple UI/UX interface is easy to navigate, and usage stats keeps you on loop.

I used the Residential Proxy service, and from my experience playing around some regions (especially for Russia) it's quite stable, of course, with some minor inconsistencies. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Decodo (formerly Smartproxy)?

- The city level targets could always be increased more, for more granularity

- Also, there could be a filter options for city level proxies

- For some reason, the bandwidth seems to be highly drained if you're using browser mode. Though the dashboard tells you what draws your most bytes, if there is some proxy config to control some APIs beyond browser config, that would be great.

- I would love to see more consistencies for search engines such as Yandex Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
