"Best Support and Fastest Rotating Residential Proxies"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Decodo (formerly Smartproxy)?

I really love their support, it’s consistently spot-on they even gave me discount to get started. Their rotating residential proxies are also excellent quality. The pricing feels very affordable, and I especially liked being able to track where each byte of my data was going through their dashboard.

I mainly used the USA, Argentina, and India regions. Setup was straightforward, and the proxies were super fast, with no site restrictions like I’ve run into with other providers. Overall, it was a smooth experience, and I’ll definitely recommend this to others. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Decodo (formerly Smartproxy)?

I didn’t dislike it much overall, but I think the proxy ip whitelist option could have higher limits. A limit of 10 is generous, but it still could have been more. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Human Support That Unblocked Our Experiment in Days"
5/5
What do you like best about Decodo (formerly Smartproxy)?

I work on the innovation team of a large company, where my job is to test new business hypotheses quickly. For one experiment we needed Brazilian residential IPs to reach public websites that are restricted by default on the platform.

Signing up and passing KYC was quick, but those targets stayed blocked. Decodo's support chatbot was genuinely useful here: it explained clearly why the requests were failing and which restriction applied, so we understood the problem instead of guessing.

I was about to ask for a refund when a human agent stepped into the same chat with a better option. He offered a compliance review and asked thoughtful questions about our use case: which sites we'd access, whether any traffic happened after a login, why a VPN wasn't enough, our expected monthly bandwidth, and our company details.

The review took less than the promised two business days, and access was approved. That let us validate our hypothesis in days instead of weeks, and we're now using Decodo inside the company. Fast, transparent, and human support when it matters. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Decodo (formerly Smartproxy)?

The main downside is that many public websites, including government portals, are restricted by default, and passing KYC doesn't unlock them right away.

That isn't obvious when you sign up. At first the chatbot told us these targets couldn't be unlocked at all, and we almost asked for a refund before a human agent explained there was a compliance review path available. It would help to make that option visible from the start, in the docs or in the dashboard.

Also, the signup confirmation email was blocked by our corporate email security, so I had to start with a personal account. Clearer guidance for business users would make onboarding smoother. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I like most about Decodo is the quality and reliability of its residential proxies. They’re easy to use, offer solid flexibility when working across different websites, and help me collect the data I need efficiently. I also appreciate how straightforward the setup process is and how smoothly the service integrates into my workflow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Decodo (formerly Smartproxy)?

There isn’t much to dislike about Decodo. From time to time, I’d appreciate a bit more flexibility in the pricing plans and usage options. That said, my overall experience with the residential proxies has been positive, and the service has worked well for what I need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Decodo’s Reliable, Large-Scale Proxy Pools with Smooth Integration"
5/5
What do you like best about Decodo (formerly Smartproxy)?

What I like best about Decodo (formerly Smartproxy) is the exceptional reliability and massive scale of their proxy pools. The connection stability and high success rate when managing multi-region network environments or routing traffic are consistently impressive. Furthermore, their clean IP reputation and straightforward integration make it incredibly smooth to set up with various development tools and workflows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Decodo (formerly Smartproxy)?

The overall service is great, but the bandwidth pricing can be a bit high for smaller projects or light testing. It would be awesome if they offered more flexible pay-as-you-go tiers or temporary discounts for individual developers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Decodo Streamlined Our Data Collection with a Clean Dashboard and Rock-Solid Speed"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Decodo (formerly Smartproxy)?

I’ve been using Decodo for about four months now to handle our data collection pipelines, and it’s made a huge difference in our weekly routine. The clean dashboard interface made onboarding our team painless, and being able to set up proxy streams in a couple of clicks instead of wrestling with manual config files saves us about three hours every week. Integrating it with our Python scripts via the API took less than an hour, and the request speeds have been rock solid even during heavy scrape jobs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Decodo (formerly Smartproxy)?

The main downside is that high-volume residential data plans can get pretty expensive, and I wish their datacenter proxies allowed targeting down to specific cities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fast, Reliable, and Easy to Use"
4/5
What do you like best about Decodo (formerly Smartproxy)?

What I like most about Decodo is how easy it is to get started. The interface is clean, setup is quick, and the performance has been consistently fast and reliable. The integrations make it easy to fit into existing workflows, and the pricing feels reasonable for what you get. I also like the automation and intelligent features, which save time on tasks that would otherwise require more manual work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Decodo (formerly Smartproxy)?

There’s not much I dislike overall. If I had to pick something, I’d say the dashboard can feel a little overwhelming at first because there are a lot of options. Some settings could also be explained more clearly, but once you get used to it, it’s pretty straightforward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"High-Quality IPs and Responsive Customer Support"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Decodo (formerly Smartproxy)?

I use Decodo’s dedicated ISP proxies to access ChatGPT. I’m happy with the IP quality, and the customer support team responds quickly. During my initial setup, the connection failed when I selected HTTP. Support guided me through switching to SOCKS5, which resolved the problem. That practical help made a good impression on me. Overall, I would rate my experience 9 out of 10. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Decodo (formerly Smartproxy)?

The initial setup was a little difficult for me. I couldn’t get the connection working with HTTP and needed support to help me switch to SOCKS5. This was the main issue I encountered. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reliable ISP proxies that just work for managing social accounts"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Decodo (formerly Smartproxy)?

Setup took minutes and the dashboard is simple to use. The ISP proxies have been stable with good speeds, which matters a lot when you are running multiple accounts that need to stay logged in. Wallet top-ups and usage tracking are straightforward, no confusing plans. Support answered quickly the one time I had a question. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Decodo (formerly Smartproxy)?

Honestly not much. Pricing is a bit higher than some budget providers, but you get what you pay for with stability. Would like a bit more detail in the bandwidth usage breakdown, it is currently pretty basic. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Highly Stable UK Residential IPs with Seamless Integration"
5/5
What do you like best about Decodo (formerly Smartproxy)?

I’ve been using Decodo’s UK residential proxies for my daily work and the performance has been really solid. Speeds are fast with low latency, IP quality is really clean with no location mismatches or unexpected drops. The dashboard UI is clean and makes setting up endpoints easy. Also the customer support is excellent, Noora helped me to sort out a particular proxy configuration issue within minutes. Overall, it’s a great bang for the buck. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Decodo (formerly Smartproxy)?

One minor limitation is that there is no self-service button in the dashboard to refresh or swap an assigned IP address directly, which usually requires purchasing a new one. However, when I reached out regarding my setup, customer support was very accommodating and helped me change my IP for free as a courtesy. While their support team handled it generously, having an automated option directly in the portal would be much more convenient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reliable, User-Friendly Service with Wide IP Coverage and Responsive Support"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Decodo (formerly Smartproxy)?

I like the wide IP coverage, stable connections, and user-friendly dashboard. The pricing is competitive compared to other providers, and the support team responds quickly when I have questions. It's reliable for my daily use cases. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Decodo (formerly Smartproxy)?

Sometimes the speed can be a bit slow during peak hours, and some regional IPs are limited. Also, the dashboard could be more detailed with usage statistics. Overall it's still a solid service. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
