I mainly use the shared static residential proxies in Tokyo, Los Angeles and New York. The node quality is good and they’ve been pretty stable for me. The best part for me is the support. I had quite a few questions when I first started, and they replied fast and were really patient. They helped me solve several issues and explained things in a way that was easy to understand. When I upgraded my plan, I found out that the new plan replaced the existing one instead of being added on, and the remaining time wasn’t prorated. It was a bit confusing at first. What I dislike is the fact that one can only buy 3 IPs just once and cannot buy more and only a higher package like 10 IPs and from that, also more again, which is not a good one for me. I primarily use Decodo’s (formerly Smartproxy) shared ISP service. It allows me to fix my IP address for using specific software and services. The main advantage is its relatively affordable pricing. The only thing is that I would like to use the dedicated ISP service, but the minimum purchase is 3 IPs. I don’t need that many — one IP is enough for me. Identifying and switching problematic proxies is not very well implemented, and I cannot seamlessly discard or shuffle proxies without also requiring code-level changes. The technical infrastructure and overall speed feel consistently stable. The UI/UX is clean and intuitive, which makes the platform straightforward to navigate and use. The customer support and onboarding experience has been really disappointing. I’ve run into major delays when trying to get issues resolved, and communication often feels slow and drawn out. Even more frustrating, we requested a specific feature that was critical to our workflow, but it took an incredibly long time to actually get it implemented. That delay led to unnecessary downtime and ended up wasting a lot of our time. What problems is Decodo (formerly Smartproxy) solving and how is that benefiting you? I run an e-commerce business targeting the US market, so having a reliable and fast connection to manage my online stores without any interruptions is a huge deal for me. On the technical side, Decodo actually does a good job keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes, which saves me a lot of headaches with data and connection issues. The tool itself is solid, but I did face some slow turnaround times recently when communicating with them. I requested a specific feature update to make my daily workflow a bit smoother, and the process to get it defined and implemented took much longer than it should have. It's not a bad service at all, but when you're trying to keep things moving quickly in e-commerce, those communication delays and waiting periods for new features can be a bit frustrating. The proxies packaging system, if you are able to downgrade your plan with chosen proxies, it would be perfect but right now it just gives the first 3 or first 10 proxies. My IP has been blocked by youtube.com because of using browser cookies for automating some stuff, but after i learnt about Decodo, the modern design was pretty good to simplify the process of buying proxies to connect to adspower after I talked with the support on how to do it. What I like most is the balance between price and performance. Compared with other ISP proxy providers, Decodo offers competitive pricing while still delivering good-quality IPs. Once you find stable IPs, the performance is consistently solid, with good speeds and relatively low block rates. The best thing about Decodo is the quality of its proxy IPs. Before switching, I was using ProxyCheap, but the issue with their proxies was that I constantly ran into CAPTCHA challenges and issues with websites protected by Cloudflare. I then checked the IP reputation and found that the proxy IP I was provided had a very high spam and fraud score (I think it was 68). I then searched on X for a better proxy provider for my use case and saw people suggesting Decodo. So I bought the cheapest package, which was $10 for 3 proxies (even though I only wanted one). I checked the spam and fraud score and it was much better at just 13. So yeah, it does help if you want a clean IP for websites or account creation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Decodo (formerly Smartproxy)? 1. I hate that you have to buy 3 IPs instead of 1. I only needed 1 proxy, but I had to buy 3 as their lowest package has a minimum of 3. 2. Sometimes the speed is horrible, so uploading longer videos becomes a pain. 3. The support is alright, but it can be improved, especially the live chat. 4. The UI is alright, but the proxy details section on the dashboard is slightly confusing. It can be improved to be clearer and more understandable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What problems is Decodo (formerly Smartproxy) solving and how is that benefiting you? The main problem it solved was that the proxy Decodo provided had a very clean score. This allowed me to create my YouTube channel on a high-trust, low-fraud IP, and when I posted on it, the channel instantly got traction, which I wasn't able to get with my previous provider.
