The training platform lacks depth in its content, making it easy for candidates to pass tests without fully engaging with the training material. This makes the experience less challenging. Instead of immediately providing the correct answer upon an error, it should indicate the mistake first and only offer additional guidance on a subsequent incorrect attempt. I appreciate the extensive support from DataGuard, especially in the areas of data protection and ISO 27001 support, as well as in internal audit processes. The training videos and the templates for ISO are extremely helpful and contribute significantly to the efficiency of our compliance management processes. What I particularly appreciate about DataGuard is that the platform makes training videos directly available. I don't have to organize them separately. Everything is included in one package, which makes the processes very efficient. In addition, there are practical templates and samples for ISO and data protection. I can use these directly, which significantly eases and standardizes my workflows. Another important point is access to great experts. Here, I would especially like to highlight our ISO-27001 consultant Stephan Trenker positively. He is highly specialized and experienced. Overall, it is a well-thought-out system that enables the digital implementation of various management systems and standards like TISAX. A small note: Due to the continuous and agile development of the platform, changes in the system occur relatively frequently, which means that one has to constantly reorient themselves. For the future, it would be desirable if the academy were available not only in German and English but also in other languages. Since we have several locations in Eastern Europe, it is difficult to conduct the training through the portal exclusively in German or English there. For this reason, we are forced to resort to another IT training portal. An integration of Entra ID would also be very helpful, as users could then log in easily and transparently via SSO. What I find most helpful are the meetings with our consultant, Patrick Riha. Being able to schedule a meeting whenever I have questions or encounter problems, and then receive valuable advice, is extremely important to me. Since I took over the certification project from a colleague who is no longer available, I have no insight into how the onboarding process was handled initially. Personally, I have found it quite challenging—and at times, I still do—to anticipate the complexity of the process and estimate how long each step in the pathway will take. The expectation that certification can be achieved in three months has created the impression among our management that it is a straightforward and easily attainable goal. I am constantly working to counter this perception and to help stakeholders understand that the process is far more complex and not merely a minor IT issue.

Dataguard offers a wealth of information, but I sometimes find myself overwhelmed by the variety of sources. We particularly appreciate the responsiveness, proactive thinking, and the ability to explain complex data protection concepts in an understandable way. The initial set up was easy. Using the DataGuard platform I was guided through the initial audit. In a reasonable time we produced the data processing directory , a first draft for the TOMs and checked DPAs. In my regular sessions with our account manager Onur Turhan we clarify open topics quickly. Onur is doing a great job, provides guidance, templates and so on and already demonstrated that he can quickly understand our specific use cases and requirements. I think the offered packages after the initial certification must remain attractive. For example, after the setup, the total cost (payable to Dataguard) for software, internal audit, and occasional consulting/audit support should be around a third of what was paid in year 1.
