ApplicantPro has made our hiring process so much easier! Implementation was quick and straightforward, and integration with our existing systems was seamless. We love having all applicants organized in one central location—it keeps everything efficient and accessible. The search feature is excellent, especially the ability to filter by keywords and zip codes to find potential employees fast. Exporting data to Excel is simple and saves us time. The email blast tool is also a great way to reach multiple applicants at once.

Customer support has been outstanding—they personally walked us through underused features and helped streamline our job posting process. ApplicantPro is now an essential part of our daily workflow and continues to deliver great results for our team.

**What do you like best about isolved Talent Acquisition?**

I believe ApplicantPro is the most user friendly ATS I have used. It makes it incredibly easy to post jobs, follow up on applicants and collaborate with managers throughout the process. ApplicantPro also integrates with several systems, including our HRIS (Paylocity) which has made the transition from recruiting to onboarding seamless. The customer support has always been top notch anytime we have run into an issue, which is not often but it is nice to know they are there when needed.

**What do you dislike about isolved Talent Acquisition?**

I don't think there is anything I actively dislike about ApplicantPro. We have had a great experience. Some of the reporting can be a little tricky to figure out at first but once you get the hang of it, it works for what we need.

We have 6 locations throughout the midwest and a satellite location internationally. ApplicantPro has made the recruiting/interviewing process so easy to handle remotely. It is fully customizable for our needs and the recruitment marketing team has helped us fill some of our really hard to fill positions.

ApplicantPro/isolved is the best ATS I have used! Firstly, the support team is very responsive and typically answers any questions I have within minutes. They also frequently roll out updates and new features to streamline common pain points in hiring and interviewing. The system has a clean layout that is easy for both HR teams and hiring managers to navigate. The QA section is also very robust and helpful for new users.

**What do you dislike about isolved Talent Acquisition?**

The References feature is fantastic and saves my team significant time from contacting individuals for professional reference checks. However, it is a little clunky with the references being tied to the application. We prefer not to require applicants to submit reference contacts on the initial application, because some applicants may be discouraged from completing their application if they do not have this information available at the time they apply. But the application is the only place for applicants so submit this info in order to use this feature. It can be worked around, but it is awkward. It would be great if reference contacts could be submitted, separate from the application, at a later point in the hiring/background process.

**What problems is isolved Talent Acquisition solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ApplicantPro has saved a lot of time in tracking and contacting applicants. The website is easy to use. The text messaging feature has been especially helpful, as many applicants today do not answer phone calls from unknown numbers and are checking their emails less frequently, so texting has been a great way to get in touch with applicants. I also really appreciate the messaging templates, which are extremely easy to create and edit.

I have always enjoyed the direct support option that is readily available. Many times, they are able to find a resolution quickly. I use the system daily, so I have found ease in making my way through the system over time.

**What do you dislike about isolved Talent Acquisition?**

I’ve encountered several ongoing issues, particularly with the integration tags. For example, I use SparkHire regularly for interview needs, and it’s integrated with our system. Last year, we were informed that once a video interview was completed, a tag would automatically appear next to the candidate’s name. However, it has been nearly two years since that feature was introduced, and it rarely—if ever—functions correctly. I still have to log in to SparkHire manually to verify whether videos have been uploaded.

Another challenge I’ve experienced is with reporting. When downloading reports filtered by tags or statuses, the system often includes all names that might match the keywords entered. This results in additional time spent manually removing irrelevant names.

While the integration options are great in theory, in practice, they often add unnecessary costs. It would be far more efficient and cost-effective if these features were built directly into the platform rather than offered as add-ons.

It specifically helps with our EEOC reporting; this was one of the main reasons why we chose this platform.
We appreciate the option to personalize the reporting tools and enjoy the statistics reports as well.

What I like most about ApplicantPro is how simple and straightforward it is to use. Posting jobs and pushing them to multiple job boards is fast and efficient, and the applicant tracking layout is clean and easy to navigate.

The communication tools are also helpful—especially the ability to message candidates directly, send automated updates, and move applicants through stages with minimal manual effort. The customizable application questions and screening filters save time and help ensure we receive higher-quality candidates.

Some of the reporting and analytics features feel limited compared to more advanced ATS platforms. While the basic reports work well, deeper customization or visual dashboards would make it easier to analyze hiring trends or track recruiter/hiring manager performance.

At times the system can also feel a bit rigid—for example, when trying to adjust workflows, customize templates, or integrate with other HR systems. A more modern interface and expanded admin flexibility would greatly improve usability.

I like that it saves archived candidates so I can always go back if need be. It is also very cost-friendly. The average rating system is a good touch though I have not used it--it's nice to know it's there if I do however.

I think it's very hard to navigate and feels very inefficient to me. I don't like how many steps I have to take just to see a new candidate for a specific position. I just feel like I waste a lot of time on here and I wish the design and UI of the website was more sleek and modern.

Helping me review candidate resumes and call them, that's about it. I have went back through archived candidates before and gotten their resumes to save through Rippling so I appreciate that.

It's a minor detail, but I would really like to be able to see whether someone prefers email or text while I'm in the messaging section of the software. If you don't check the candidate's profile beforehand, you have to exit the messaging area and return to their profile just to find out their communication preference.

We can view all applicants and rank them according to our own criteria in a single, convenient location. The platform also enables multiple hiring managers to leave comments on each applicant's skills and experience, making this feedback visible to everyone involved.

I have been using ApplicantPro since May, and I find it extremely effective for streamlining the recruitment and hiring process. One of the biggest advantages is having everything consolidated in one dashboard and on one site, which means I don't have to switch between multiple applications. This integration keeps me more focused and organized. I also appreciate the level of customization that ApplicantPro offers, particularly the ability to rate individual applicants and add specific notes to their files. These features are incredibly helpful because they allow me to consolidate all my thoughts in one place without the need to spend extra time organizing them separately. Overall, these capabilities significantly enhance my workflow efficiency during the hiring process.

I love that ApplicantPro dramatically increases the number of applicants I receive for the exact same job postings compared to other systems I've used. Its ease of use is remarkable, making it incredibly simple and fast to operate, which is crucial since it’s not the primary ATS we utilize, yet it seamlessly integrates into our process. I appreciate how easy it makes sharing information with our hiring managers, enhancing workflow efficiency. ApplicantPro stands out with its superior ability to attract qualified candidates, which is a significant advantage over other ATS tools I've experienced. Furthermore, the initial setup was very easy, and their customer service is excellent, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience.

My only complaint about ApplicantPro is a minor issue: the user interface isn't very attractive. I prioritize functionality over aesthetics, but there are definitely more visually appealing applicant tracking systems out there.

I appreciate that ApplicantPro is an affordable option in a competitive market, providing cost-effective solutions for hiring and recruiting tasks. I enjoy the flexibility of tailoring job questions to fit the specific position being posted, which allows for a more customized and efficient recruiting process. Using ApplicantPro, I can easily manage job postings and application captures, while the HireForms portion aids in onboarding and the ProScreening helps with background checks, making it a comprehensive tool for our main recruiting needs.

**What do you dislike about isolved Talent Acquisition?**

I don't like how tags don't carry over from one application to the next and I find the searching capabilities to not work very well when trying to dig through resumes for specific skills or traits. If a candidate has applied with us multiple times and they populate in a keyword search, they will be listed multiple times in the list—once for every application. I'd rather just see their name once and move through their numerous applications myself. I hate having to check notes within every application pipeline. I'd rather have one notes pipeline and assign a job to each note so they're all collectively in one place. I find the keyword search function to not work well—not sure if this is because it doesn't parse the resumes well, or what. But a lot of resumes seem to be missed. Boolean is a common tool to use when head hunting and it doesn't work well in this software. I find a lot of how ApplicantPro works to be pretty manual and repetitive.

ApplicantPro streamlines job posting, onboarding, background checks, and resume database management. It's affordable and customizable, enhancing recruitment efficiency. However, its search function and note-taking could be improved for better workflow integration.

Two things. One, I like the access it gives us without additional effort to a variety of job boards (Indeed, LinkedIn, ZipRecruiter, etc.). Two, the ability to create questionarres that each candidate has to fill out by lead and include custom weights associated to the response given is unique to ApplicantPro (or not common). The inclusion of an API set is advantageous, enabling us to download data and conduct secondary evaluations based on résumé content rather than just questionnaire responses. This flexibility in customization and integration makes ApplicantPro a valuable asset for our staffing needs. Lastly, the price-to-value ratio of ApplicantPro is outstanding, making it a highly recommendable solution.

I find the user interface of ApplicantPro not as polished as other applicant tracking systems. Although functionally it is better in certain aspects and offers unique features, the UI does not have the same level of refinement seen in other systems, such as ADP. Still, the power of ApplicantPro's features makes it more compelling than other solutions that have nicer UIs.

I really value how ApplicantPro presents applications with resumes, interview questions, and notes conveniently on the side, which greatly enhances my ability to present candidates to hiring managers in a professional and comprehensive manner. Additionally, the ease of setting up ApplicantPro was impressive. I was able to train myself and then effectively train the rest of the team, creating job templates and questions to suit our firm’s needs. Everyone quickly learned how to use ApplicantPro effectively, which demonstrates its user-friendly interface. The hiring managers find reviewing candidates straightforward, which is a testament to its intuitive design. Overall, I find ApplicantPro extremely beneficial for streamlining our recruitment processes.

I have been using ApplicantPro as our ATS for about seven years, primarily to post job ads and accept applications. The implementation of ApplicantPro as our first ATS was smooth and was greatly aided by an excellent support team that assisted us through implementation, training, and rollout to multiple locations and users. I highly appreciate ApplicantPro's outstanding customer service, which has consistently exceeded expectations, particularly in managing the rollout to a team of diverse skills. One of the most beneficial aspects of ApplicantPro is how it has streamlined the hiring process, allowing managers to receive applications directly without causing bottlenecks, which is particularly vital given that the recruiting team is solely myself. The software's capability to post ads on over 20 job boards at once significantly reduces my workload. Additionally, the feature that scores applicants is remarkably useful as it helps managers concentrate on quality candidates that best match job requirements. I am attracted to improvements like the potential addition of AI features, such as a chatbot, which demonstrates their commitment to innovation. My positive experiences with their great customer service and the system's contribution to hiring efficiency make me inclined to continue using ApplicantPro and recommend it highly.

**What do you like best about isolved Talent Acquisition?**

We use this tool every day as we are always hiring for open positions.  ApplicantPro is very intuitive and easy to use from install to expert level.  It's robust with the different options and offerings to help even the most seasoned recruiter to the most basic hiring manager.  For the things you may not know or for new tools that were just developed and rolled out, your account rep will check in and run you through all of those to make sure you are getting the most bang for your buck.  We have been with ApplicantPro since 2015 now and not looking to move away in the indefinite future.
It was super easy to implement with the help of the ApplicantPro team.  Also easy to train our managers on it whether they are new or just starting to hire for a position they haven't had open in a long time.  Integration is a piece of cake.

**What do you dislike about isolved Talent Acquisition?**

I wouldn't call it a dislike, but it could change it's look just a little.  The color scheme is not my favorite and the fonts and layout feel just a bit like 15 years old.  Even if the color scheme was customizable, that might be cool.  But definitely can make the layout look a little newer without much effort.  But in the grand scheme of things, we don't mind.  But when I've showed it to my colleagues who were shopping ATS systems, they told me it looks dated and I couldn't disagree.

Our account manager is amazing—she’s quick to respond anytime I have a question or run into an issue. I also love the webinars they put on about hiring and how to improve your process. I’ve picked up a lot of helpful tips from those!

Limited texting.
Customer support used to be top notch, but outside of Carlee or Celeste, I have had to do way too much work to get any information or anything taken care of.

ApplicantPro support has been very responsive in the past and generally up front about the system capabilities. We usually receive a response within 48 business hours, and we haven't had to deal with a revolving door of reps. The system is also great for loading templates and calendar integrations for scheduling.

ApplicantPro / iSolved does not integrate with our HRIS, Rippling. This has been the biggest struggle we've had with our system, as we are a growing company that hires many frontline workers each month. We currently need to manually load these profiles into our HRIS upon hire. As a result, reporting can be difficult because we dont have all of the recruitment data connecting with our HRIS.

There doesn't seem to be a good way for the system to merge these profiles; it just ends up creating several profiles due to their different applications. I personally like the simplicity of the platform. It does not come across as complicated to use. Jobs and applicants are organized neatly. Additionally, I have always gotten prompt support from their team.

- Their reporting functions are not the easiest to use and they cannot make custom reports for you.
- Their search engine in the platform is a bit tedious to use
-  The platform is not able to upload your own offer letter template to use

We used Applicant Pro previously with good results and then decided to try an industry recruiter. The results with Applicant Pro were better so we made the decision to return! It is easy to set up our job posts and our account rep is always timely and very helpful when we have questions.  We also get a good number of candidates to consider for our roles. It was easy to add the link to our hiring page on our website also.

This isnt necessarily a dislike, but they offer many features that we don't take advantage of because of not being aware of them, or unsure how to best utilize.

What I dislike the most is sometimes it is difficult to use - such as moving between the job description and the candidates that applied for the job.  To click between the two requires some moving around - when talking to a candidate it can be a bit tough.

The ease of advertising across multiple platforms.  The customer service chat is very helpful and prompt in responding.

Overall it's a good platform- the only feature I wish I miss from a previous vendor is a the ability to disposition applicants to various stages within a requisition (review resume, set-up interview, reject, etc.). You can assign a status and sort by status, but when there are a lot of applicants in a requisition it gets a little messy.
